Nadelen: "The internet was very, very expensive! $35 for very very slow internet that didn't work half of the time. Also, before I departed from the US, the customer service rep at JFK made me purchase a refundable plane ticket for $2500, and charged me a non refundable fee of $35 for booking the flight for me ( I asked how to do it via the Iberia website on my phone and she refused to help me, and the website makes it extremely not obvious how to book a refundable flight). She said because my flight was one way to Europe I had to have an onward flight, even though I was traveling by car outside of Europe. She said that they would ask me for it at customs when I arrived in Europe. Well they have never asked me for this before, and they did not ask me this time either when I arrived, so this whole exercise was pointless. When I called to get my ticket refunded, they also charged me a $25 fee for refunding the ticket, which the agent in NY did not tell me about. So I just ate $60 for no reason. In addition, the customer service person was very rude about the whole thing."

My traveling companion's luggage was never delivered to our destination and really made for a less enjoyable trip (since she had to purchase everything anew, as well as having to repeatedly contact the airline to check on the bag - receiving multiple inaccurate stories as to what happened). It makes me far less likely to fly or recommend this airline again. Luggage tracking should be a very simple process."

Nadelen: "We were in JFK for over 24 hours being lied to and being promised that our flight to Madrid although late would leave that day. We were changed from boarding door to boarding door, we were told that there were no hotel rooms available in New York that they could place us in and told that they were testing a plane and as soon as it was confirmed it could fly we would be on it. At approx. 1am or a little after we (the passengers) from the flight were located at boarding door 7 and they brought an Iberia plane right by the windows in hopes that we would be put at ease at the sight of a possible flight only to find out that there are no flights out of JFK after 1am. The lies they told and or lack of truths was very frustrating"

During this time the air conditioning was off and it was too hot. The crew was very rude and nowhere to be found most of the flight. I was extremely thirsty and crew was upset when I asked for water"

Nadelen: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."

We were given seats in the last row and couldn't recline at all for the long flight. Since we booked our seats over six or seven months ago this was a disappointment. Because we were in the last row we got the food last. It wasn't particularly tasty. There was no choice in food. They just dropped some beef dish on or trays. The woman ahead was a vegetarian. The flight attendant told her her only option was to eat peanuts. Extra water was never offered. The breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese was inedible. It was cold and tasteless and difficult to chew. I've been on about 30 international flights. This was one of the three worst ever."

Voordelen: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Nadelen: "The boarding check-in person was confusing. Anyone that didn't speak Spanish got in the wrong line. They didn't announce that there were two lines, one for A and one for B. So we were mistakenly directed to stand in the line for a Madrid flight, when we were going to Lisbon. They made the last minute call only in Spanish, so we all almost missed the flight. The landing was a bit rough with crosswinds."

When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Captain had the seat belt sign off early and turned it back on late in descent which allowed people to visit the restrooms. Video entertainment was good."

Toen we aan board stapten vroeg ik aan de steward of de kist vol was of dat er nog een mogelijkheid was om iets te veranderen waardoor we toch met z'n drieën naast elkaar konden zitten. We zitten helaas vol, antwoordde hij. Toch kwam hij een kwartiertje later met het bericht dat er voorin toch drie vrije plaatsen naast elkaar waren, top!"
Voordelen: "Alles was prima in orde, behalve dat ik moest betalen voor overgewicht van mijn handbagage...Ik moest medcijnen en medische apparatuur terugnemen naar huis en kon niet anders...."
Nadelen: "De externe service provider van assistentie krijgt een dikke onvoldoende..3-4 hulpbehoevende passagiers, waaronder ik, hebben meer dan een half uur moeten wachten tot er iemand met een rolstoel kwam opdagen"

Instead it was a wild party with adults shouting all over the place. A girl sitting next to me was cutting her finger nails. Couldn't get any rest whatsoever. Also my seat did not recline."

Nadelen: "The Airport in Crete was the worst I have ever seen for cleanliness, long lines to drop bags."

Voordelen: "The crew was nice."
Nadelen: "It was impossible for me to reserve seats in advance. I tried online and via text messaging with the airline directly. I was finally told, after multiple attempts and many texts messages back and forth with a representative, that I could only reserve my seats during check-in at the airport because my ticket had been purchased via another airline/ service (I had connecting flights). This was very frustrating. Also, the seats on the plane were very uncomfortable, there's no room, and I'm not a large person. When they offered something to drink, I asked for water and had to pay 2.80 for it, there were no snacks. I would not fly this airline again."
Voordelen: "Tja dat is eigenlijk onder de maat."
Nadelen: "When we booked there was no information about fees for checked bags. I tried to Ck in online and pay for our bags then but the payment didn't go through. At the airport they charged me even more than it would have been online. The bags cost more than our seats. We should have been told!!"
Nadelen: "There is so little legroom, that I my legs had to be in the isle all the time and I had to get up every time the cart needed to pass."
Voordelen: "Plane was nice and the crew was good, except that the flight left almost an hour late without enough announcements as to what was going on and when we might be leaving."
Nadelen: "More communications when the flight has been delayed and sitting there."
Nadelen: "Bathroom smells very bad My three seats where very dirty and had brown yucky stuff One had a sticky gum on it The cleaning crew should have noticed it"
Nadelen: "The charge for baggage but when i bought the ticket i received that the baggage was included"
Nadelen: "They didn’t even give water without charging for it. Water is a basic need The hidden baggage fees. I was informed at checkin that I wasn’t allowed a checked bag from Amsterdam via Madrid to Miami. It is the first time I have ever flown internationally where you don’t get 1 bag at least to check in. The. The fee was €150 one way to check a bag. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"
Nadelen: "I missed my connection because of the insane delay on the first flight."
Nadelen: "bagageafhandelijk verschrijkkelijk. Koffers kwijt en volgens de balie gebeurt dat om de haverklap in mallorca"
Voordelen: "Overall the flight was fine."
Nadelen: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."
Nadelen: "I bought 2 tickets at the same time for me and my wife and the sat us separately 10 rows apart from each other. Its stupid they dont let you choose your own seats. Also paying for the bag was another long process and had to go to 3 sepparate counters because Air Europa required a different procedure. Pilots necer announced upcomig turbulence and the landing was horrible. Old and uncomfortable seatbelts. Ive been on 3 flights this week and this was by far the worst. Wont be flying Air Europa in the future."
Nadelen: "Space between seats very uncomfortable. Planes very old."
Nadelen: "The boarding procedure need to improve."
Voordelen: "The entertainment was excellent and the food plenty and good"
Nadelen: "I had an isle seat assigned to me at check in, however I strongly feel discriminated against by your stewardess Sylvia , after she made me move so another young lady could have an isle of 3 seats all to herself. The made me food to another seat (50 something) when I know I didn't have that seat. I would never recommend this airline - I travel often and plenty and have never been so humiliated and made to feel less than. They way I was asked to move was as if I was a disturbance , as if I sat next to the pilot of the plane ....it wasn't even offered an apology or asked kindly. It's unacceptable."
Voordelen: "I'm six feet tall with long legs and I was actually comfortable for the flight. It was nice for a change."
Nadelen: "It was a connecting flight for a lot of people but the crew didn't say where to go for connections. I know that's not really their job, but many people (ourselves included) were running through the airport to first find then travel to our connections. A simple "go right for connections" could have sufficed because in a very un-airport-like move, there were no signs about connections, just gates, and our boarding pass for the connection said Gate ABC--which meant it was either Gate A (60 options), Gate B (60 options), or Gate C (60 options) and Gate A was slightly left and the other two were about a 30 minute run/walk. We had 45 minutes between flights, which we thought was reasonable, but we spent 15 of them trying to figure out where to go and asking airport employees who said follow the gate number and when we showed them Gate ABC, became confused because there was no gate number."
Voordelen: "The employees of air Europa are always so friendly and helpful. The flight, the price, the value for money is excellent."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the breakfast."
Nadelen: "The hour plus delay that caused me to miss connection"
Voordelen: "The flight was delayed for five hours."
Nadelen: "The waiting."

Nadelen: "One tv for to many people Food could be improve"
Voordelen: "Our seats were comfortable. The crew was kind. The flight was very smooth."
Nadelen: "The water and juice were hot. The coffee was not good, it didn't had coffee flavor. The ice was very poor. The lights were on the whole flight, we couldn't rest at any time."
Voordelen: "The crew were very helpful once boarded in assisting with overhead baggage."
Nadelen: "The flight had major turbulence without any communication from the pilot or crew as to what to expect and having been on 8 flights just this week I am not a first time flyer, but have not felt so uncomfortable with noises of what what sounded like ice hitting the plane. Just looking around it was clear I was not the only one who felt this way. I understand that the pilots did there best to navigate through the weather but for the future it would be great for them to communicate that we would be hitting some turbulence. The landing as well was one of the worst I have experienced. I will not be flying or recommending air Europa to anyone. Just checking in to receive boarding passes was a nightmare as they informed me the plane had already closed even though it was an hour before my flight left. I was then directed to customer service who then sent me back to the counter where I finally received my boarding pass. Running through the airport and to security was awful and when I arrived at the gate the gate was still open and people were still boarding. It seems as thought air Europa is more concerned with how many tickets they can sell than customer service."
Voordelen: "Plane made it across the ocean."
Nadelen: "Crowd like cattle at boarding. Seats poorly designed so you can't eat without spilling down your shirt. (Coach, natch.) My (and many) entertainment stations didn't work at all. Pilot didn't say a word the whole time altho lots of turbulence. English announcements fast and incomprehensible. Food really pretty wretched. All this in comparison to other transatlantic carriers at this point is frankly poor. (I do this 4 or 5 times a year. for years.)"
Voordelen: "Food portions were generous."
Nadelen: "Possibly the most uncomfortable chairs ever. Entertainment was also outdated."
Nadelen: "Ssats too small and food pretty poor"

Nadelen: "Everything else. Crowded. Dirty. Worse seats ever"
Nadelen: "Boarding,they need to improve a lot"
Voordelen: "Liked the boarding process (from back to front)"
Nadelen: "Crew not friendly, food was mediocre, the entertainment did not work at all"
Voordelen: "That I arrived safely. That it was cheap. Being fed twice in a short amount of time was a surprise."
Nadelen: "Plane left much later than it should have. Cramped, uncomfortable seats that barely had much padding. The worst part were the other passengers—about 30 or more kids (late teens or early twenties) who talked loudly throughout the entire redeye flight. Sleeping was impossible. They were never asked by the staff to quiet down."
Voordelen: "Slept almost the entire flight over, from the middle seat."
Nadelen: "Only a 10kg weight limit, not described well during the ticket purchasing process."
Voordelen: "Our flight was ontime"
Nadelen: "Minimal leg space, only a couple of televisions, uncomfortable flight overseas"
Voordelen: "New plane in very nice condition. It was clean and the entertainment was good."
Voordelen: "Movie selection was pretty good"
Nadelen: "Absolutely no leg room , for a transatlantic flight this was terrible. Very uncomfortable seats and flight overall"

Nadelen: "The flight was extremely late both ways. The entertainment system was really bad. The seats were dirty and old. The foot rest was broken."
Nadelen: "Plane did not leave on time. We were waiting for 30 minutes for take off and no anoauncement was made. We got nothing in return"

Nadelen: "9 hour overnight flight and the seat uncomfortable to sleep in. Also, they won't let you check in at home. So you really have to show up 2 hours before flight. Just made the whole experience even longer... On"
Voordelen: "Good movies"
Nadelen: "No way to sit straight if you are over 5'10". Very uncomfortable. When the person in front pops the seat back eating is almost impossible and getting out of the seat turns into a problem. The soggy buns were not real food and the empty cardboard box for breakfast was unnecessary and made more garbage. The fried noodles looked like something I see in the compost pile."
Voordelen: "Low cost"
Nadelen: "I've purchased a meal which was completely tasteless. I don't expect gourmet food, but really the minimum."
Voordelen: "The boarding was on time, and quite fast"
Nadelen: "The seat next to the toilet had no windown. The food was very poor. The crew was no really nice or polite. They lost my laguagge"
Voordelen: "The flight was delayed because the plane arrived late, but we made it almost in time for the connection flights. Great flight, very good service. I'll totally travel again with Air Europa"
Nadelen: "The boarding was 2 hours delay due to plane being late , due to it was getting clean , then the said the delay was do to the crew three different stories . So it look like they were all lies Then you get on the plane some of the crew members has a bad attitude very unpleasant ,over heard one flight attendant say to a staff member what do the think ,we are tired too ! she forgot we are paying customers ,not employees ! Also there where a bunch of empty seat no one could sit in because they were for the crew .so they can sleep in during the flight ,felt that was very unprofessional . We arrive to Madrid and had to go through t s a again as if we just entered air lines major delays almost miss next flight ,so that was very stressful . My son got food poisoning ,as well ,later the night not a good experience . I feel I will not be flying air Europa again I was not pleased with all my flying experience I have had never had this experience so I rate air line poor"
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 12 hrs.. I was not given a hotel in Madrid, I missed my bus, my bag was missing. Never again will I fly on aireuropa."
Nadelen: "The entretaiment system never worked!!"
Nadelen: "Everything. Delayed 4 hrs. because of a landing wheel they he'd to replace, after being delayed to get on the plane, and then they made us sit in the plane at the gate 2 hrs., then made us get off for another hour and a half. Seats totally uncomfortable. And we phad paid for better seats. Dreading the return flights."
Voordelen: "Entire airline was comfortable and clean. Amazing leg room in every seat"
Nadelen: "No in flight entertainment system"
Voordelen: "The flight was delayed 12 hours. Had to cancel and make other last minute arragements."
Voordelen: "The plane was quite new, had device charging service and i liked the movies they offered on their entertaining system. One of the crew members was quite cute and nice."
Nadelen: "I checked the flight status on my way to the airport and it said on time. When i arrived to the air europa counter they told me the plane was 1 hr late. Would have been nice to know this beforehand so that i wasn't wandering at the airport for such a long time. Once at the boarding gate they made me wait one more hour over the already delayed announced time."
Voordelen: "Direct flight at suitable time."
Nadelen: "There is no online check in. So you need to get to airport early to get seats together. If you are traveling Witt kids, good luck. Only 5 movies for entertainment that is available 1 HR after boarding. The seats in economy are very close together. I am 5 6 and could hardly stretch my legs. never again."
Voordelen: "leg room"

Voordelen: "Nice seats throughout the plane, spacious and comfortable"
Nadelen: "Entertainment was good but for a fee. Average catering"
Voordelen: "We boarded and sat at the gate for FOUR hours while the ground crew dithered with a tire. We were not told anything for an hour then not offered to dis board for another hour with the option to schlep all our carry on items. A little communications would have gone a long way. When one is facing an 8 hour flight sitting an extra 4 hours is unacceptable. If asked I will encourage others to seek alternative airlines."
Voordelen: "The check-in, pre-boarding, flight, and arrival were fine. We left a little late, but arrived on time."
Nadelen: "As expected, the seats did not decline and the spacing between rows was tight. It would be nice to have more room and reclining seats, but that is not the style for this airline."
Voordelen: "Fácil abordaje"

Nadelen: "The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. This was due to them being hunched forward a bit, which made sitting on them for the 1 hour flight uncomfortable. More comfy chairs would be great."
Voordelen: "Mijn 7 jarige zoon zat in zijn eentje. Bizar dat Easyjet niet automatisch gezinnen bij elkaar zet. Vrouw en dochter op rij 1, zoon en vader op 21 en 22. Echt not nooit zo’n slechte ervaring gehad op een vlucht"

Voordelen: "Fast boarding, nice crew"
Nadelen: "The flight should’ve taken 1.25 hours. Ended up arriving in Berlin 3 hours later. Seats are very crammed"
Nadelen: "We stayed a bit long in the plane before takeoff, very long walk after check out the plane toward the imagination, too long time for the baggage to come out, my bag was broken. Over all bad experience"
Voordelen: "Clean plane with reasonable knee room. Crew was polite and friendly. Bag drop was fast and friendly.. Flight left a little last due to ATC issues but landed at the scheduled time."
Nadelen: "The departure gate was horrible. Very crowded with NO seats. We had to stand around for half an hour."

Nadelen: "Male flight attendant on Easyjet physically hurt me, invading my personal space multiple times and touching me while I slept. Under NO circumstances is it appropriate for flight attendants to physically jab at passengers, especially given the power imbalance in this case of a white male flight attendants being physically inappropriate with women of color passengers. I will not be flying with Easyjet again and will tell everyone I know of my experience with Easyjet's physically invasive, inappropriate staff."

Nadelen: "An hour late without excuses and a 50 min wait for the luggage. Ridiculous!"
Voordelen: "Niks. Kost weinig, je krijgt nog veel minder. Toch?"
Nadelen: "De automatische stoeltoewijzing is klantje pesten. Heb je samen geboekt wordt je uit elkaar gehaald. Niet omdat er geen plek is, maar gewoon omdat het kan. Pesterij. Boarden: je word zo snel mogelijk de gate in geveegd en dan mag je daar wachten tot het blijkbaar echt nodig was dat je er was."
Voordelen: "Once we were able to board, things went smoothly. The crew did well and were polite and friendly."
Nadelen: "The fact that the flight was delayed more than one hour was quite annoying."
Voordelen: "The plane was ok."
Nadelen: "To start we were told by the check in agent that our carry on luggage would be fine, but then at the gate we were told that our luggage was to big for the overhead bins. We were charged an extra 94 euros so like $120 USD. We get on the plane and people were putting away carry on luggage that were a lot bigger than what we had. I am sure it was because we were Americans.. This was the first and last time I fly with this airline..."
Voordelen: "Easy boarding. I like having to wait in lounge and they tell you which gate to go to board."
Nadelen: "Nothing just know 1 bag only carry on. Pay for anything more. 1 bag means purse daypack etc."
Nadelen: "I missed the flight,because not enough time"

Nadelen: "We were 40 mins late and even though it said we were on time the airport didnt announce the gate until 10 mins before we were supposed to take off. Incredibly unorganized."

Nadelen: "We were delayed 5 hours, we arrived at 2pm and left Milan at 10.30pm! In total we waited 8 hours."

Nadelen: "Our seats did not recline. In addition, the gate to board at the Amsterdam airport would benefit from more chairs as everyone was waiting in a line for some time while waiting to board."
Voordelen: "Overall was fine."

Nadelen: "Crew is obsessed with safety procedures more than any other airline existing which becomes really annoying at some point."
Voordelen: "Comfortable waiting area, on time departure, friendly staff, who were also patient."
Voordelen: "Not much. I had a aisle. Had I not, I oils have been unable to sit down"
Nadelen: "Almost everything. Seats hit right at shoulder. No recline. No rest"
Nadelen: "Ik moest rennen naar de gate omdat de schermen te laat waren. Er waren meer reizigers die onvriendelijk gewezen werden op het feit dat ze “te laat” waren."
Voordelen: "I like the ease of this airline"
Nadelen: "Schiphol is eigenlijk te groot. Alles kost veel tijd. Vlucht was half uur te laat"
Voordelen: "Good staff on board, with lots of smiles. Damn good price to fly for just EUR 20 from Amsterdam to Marseille. Speedy Boarding is a big plus and totally worth it. Emergency row seats were comfortable."
Nadelen: "why do we have to pay so much extra to book with a credit card / debit card! :("
Nadelen: "Easyjet behandeld je als vee. Je hebt als passagiers niets te vertellen en als je protesteert beroept het personeel zich op policy. Handbagage is zo'n policy. Elke keer moet je je handbagage achterlaten bij de trap en als je dan in het vliegtuig komt zie je overal lege vakken."
Voordelen: "Fares were very low, boarding was smooth, several seats were empty."
Nadelen: "We were told that we could only carry on one item, unless we upgraded to Easyjet plus, but we were not able to upgrade because no seats were available, even though the plane was only ~2/3 full. Our 'extra' items were a knitting bag and a laptop bag, but the checkin agents persuaded us that we would need to check the carry ons anyway, which slowed our departure enough that we missed our bus and had to get a taxi (for 200 pounds). Our flight had plenty of empty seats, and there was more than enough room for us to have had our carryons and personal items (which I would have been willing to pay the upgrade fee for, as the total price would still have been competitive."
Nadelen: "Luggage was damaged hard. Can't reach support online or offline (Tel). I tried to reach today via Facebook page message"
Voordelen: "Did not try food or entertainment, but it's a great value flight. Professional staff and flight times were spot on."
Nadelen: "Plane was full of young party goers on their way to some vacation spot in Croatia. They partied on the flight, drinking, listening to loud music, standing in the aisle the entire flight, being obnoxious, loud and disrespectful to other passengers. Crew did nothing to stop this behavior."
Voordelen: "The crew was extremely nice and accommodating."
Nadelen: "The menu is very limited and it contains mostly junk food. No options for specific needs."
Voordelen: "Cheap and fast flight."
Nadelen: "No check in luggage is included and they don't tell you that when you're ordering tickets for a connecting flight. If you don't order check in luggage when purchasing the tickets they will charge you double the rate at the counter. Ripoff!"
Voordelen: "Cheap fare. Friendly crew. Don't book a budget flight and expect First Class facilities."
Nadelen: "I'm 6'3", so found the seats a little cramped. Bearable for the 2 hour flight from London to Murcia. I wouldn't want to go much further in those seats. Food and drink onboard is ridiculously overpriced."
