Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Configuration gives no privacy as you look at the passenger next to you. Functions of chair did not work. Pillow was thinner Than a piece of paper. Crew showed no concern."

Nadelen: "6ft 2 frame in economy was very tight and aisle seats have little space next to entertainment base stations. Food was acceptable, no more."
Nadelen: "None of them reminded me of the fact that I need a transit visa for the UK (I mean, isn't it rediculous? I am just staying there for 5 hours). When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak anymore. So bad."

Nadelen: "Compared to the JAL flight crew we had on our connecting flight, the staff were disinterested, not particularly polite and gave the overwhelming sense we were somehow inconveniencing them... Seats and leg room not big enough and giant metal box under the seat did not help. Yes, we could have paid extra for more leg room (I am quite tall) but that doesn't seem right (almost akin to discriminating against tall people). Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."
Voordelen: "Still love their use of decent reclining seats, and the boarding procedure and cabin crew are generally lovely."
Nadelen: "£6.50 for an alcoholic drink is a joke. The fact that they had also run out of most mixers (including diet coke) as well as the sandwiches on my return flight to LHR from ATH shows how poor their service is. I was also refused ice for my warm coke zero (since they didn't have any to buy I thought I'd ask for some for the one I had bought in the airport). Shocking!"
Nadelen: "High cost airline, no service. Food and drink have to be paid for now, prices are ridiculous. Crew rude and unattentive. Easy Jet and Norwegian way better and significant cheaper."
Voordelen: "Easy and quick boarding. Dinner tasty, but it is hard to cut a fillet steak without hitting the next passenger in the elbow"
Nadelen: "Only one check-in agent running all desks including bag drop - long wait. 19 year-old 747 had narrow seats in premium economy, uncomfortable and too much body contact with adjacent passengers. Outbound to SFO in an Airbus 380 had sparkling wine pre-take off, hot towels twice, this DEN-LHR flight only had juice or water on offer (crew said "don't serve that on this route") no hot towels, crew's objective seemed to be get around cabin in one go and leave Pax to it Breakfast was abysmal, soft-pretzel roll, no juice or water served, just indifferent coffee"

Nadelen: "I cannot believe you have to pay for your drinks now. The only thing which made BA one of the last remaining "experience" airlines has now made it become like a normal train journey. I'd prefer to pay 10 pounds more in my ticket and still have the impression my drinks, soft or not, are offered."
Voordelen: "Early departure (relatively small plane) and early arrival. Boarding and departures relatively quick given small plane size. Service was good. Overhead bins were spacious. Plane was relatively new and fairly high-tech. Food was good and selection was great. Cabin crew went out of their way to accommodate our requests."
Nadelen: "The Dreamliner is quite a noisy and warm plane. Also, cabin crew aren't very specific with meals (e.g. chicken or beef rather than chicken with rice or beef with potatoes). Snack between meals chargeable. Some trouble with the on board entertainment system that was resolved early on. Stroller arrived fairly late."
Voordelen: "swift boarding allowed for an earlier departure and arrival 30min ahead of scheduled time"
Nadelen: "I waited 30min at the priority check in queue while being first in line this whole time. There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."
Voordelen: "The crew on the aircraft were very friendly and polite."
Nadelen: "Not BA's fault but Nairobi is probably one of the most uncomfortable airports. We paid to go into the Aspire Lounge but was surprised that BA do not have a lounge. We flew Premium Economy but didn't think we got that much extra for the amount paid. Breakfast was one breakfast bar and that was it."
Nadelen: "Cabin luggage is too big for regional aircraft. Size limits need to be imposed more strictly."
Voordelen: "Usual efficient BA. Understated customer care"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed. BA has started charging for sandwiches in economy. Have they decided to join the ranks of Ryan air and EasyJet? What next - Charging for food and drinks in economy on long haul and become like American, United and Delta? Where is the brand defferentiator? Someone in BA needs to understand that BA is perceived as a premium brand. Don't devalue it"

Nadelen: "Who ever took the decision to charge for food and drink but still charge BA fares must have been a Trump Supporter!"
Voordelen: "Check-in Ticket printed by BA staff at the airport had the wrong gate number so I was sat in the wrong part of the terminal until I got suspicious and double checked the screens to find my flight had started boarding elsewhere. Entertainment system had a screen from the mobile phone you owned more than a decade ago. Breakfast was a Kellogg's chew bar. Staff onboard were excellent."

Nadelen: "Service was scattered compared to the LHR > JFK leg. No "welcome aboard" drinks, staff seemed very distracted, frantic and a bit disorganised. Food was very disappointing and I'm pretty sure it gave me a sick stomach for 24 hours after."

Nadelen: "BA operates T5. It's their hub. They operate to a schedule. Aeroplanes come and go at the same times every day. So why did our flight land, and the ground crew were taken by surprise - "Ooo look - a plane! Full of passengers! And us working at an airport... Who knew?! Do you think the lights are attracting them? Let's all hide and perhaps they'll go away..." We landed from Edinburgh, taxiid in, and parked. No airbridge - don't be silly! And a 20 minute wait to disembark while they rousted a few idle layabouts out of their fetid pits of sloth to stand around and occasionally wave an arm in a desultory fashion in tne general direction of the shopping centre - sorry, "terminal building". Terminal is the right word. From now on I'm joining ABBA - Anyone But British Airways - not least to avoid Terminal Five..."

Nadelen: "Man doing the check-in in Madrid (site 909) was very rude and unhelpful."

Nadelen: "They didn’t even give water without charging for it. Water is a basic need The hidden baggage fees. I was informed at checkin that I wasn’t allowed a checked bag from Amsterdam via Madrid to Miami. It is the first time I have ever flown internationally where you don’t get 1 bag at least to check in. The. The fee was €150 one way to check a bag. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"

Upon arrival to airport my status was ignored and I was refused when asked to speak with a manager. I ended up having to pay 60 euros in baggage fees and then was not allowed to board as sky priority despite showing the airline my status."

Nadelen: "It was delayed, as normally, 45 mins this time. Awful experience going through security in CDG I would avoid that airport at all cost. Randomly making you wait luggage before security, with add extra 30 mins to the security processes, not sympathy of staff even if flight people may miss their flight."
Voordelen: "Ordered a special meal and it was far superior than the regular in flight meal. This was the only highlight."
Nadelen: "The bathroom was extremely dirty at the beginning of the flight, had to hold it because it was so disgusting. The crew ignored requests, they skipped us on the beverage run twice, and walked past us when trying to giving them the trash (on their trash run). The crew keep bumping the food carts on the seats, repeatedly, during service. I was given water twice and both times they spilled water all over my clothes, it was not bumpy at all. The entertainment screen was broken, the images were pixelated and going in a crazy pattern. Even if you turned it off anytime there was an announcement it would turn on. Plane was delayed. We sat in a warm plane for over an hour."
Nadelen: "The delay"
Voordelen: "Overall the flight was fine."
Nadelen: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."
Voordelen: "The boarding was easy. Having a blanket and pillow at my seat."
Nadelen: "The delay and short time between flights to get to gate and get through customs. Having no in flight entertainment for a 7.5 hour flight. There was not a vegetarian snack option for my daughter."
Voordelen: "The flight was easy to board when it was time. We left and arrived on time."
Nadelen: "There was only one person initially checking people in. Then when there was a second person, she was going to make us move to the end of the other line after waiting 30 minutes. She did end up taking us, but it was only after conceding that."

Nadelen: "Older panes with no phone jack charging options. What's the use of Wifi if your battery runs low or dies. They have charging ports in Business Class. I don't remember the last time I was on a plane with at least phone charging ports."
Voordelen: "Price was great, flight crew very attentive, even the food was good."
Nadelen: "The seats didn't have a port to charge phones. Older planes with antiquated tech. Monitors on back of seats were also outdated. Plane was late leaving Madrid."

Nadelen: "The glitchy mobile app and website won't allow a check in, because it keeps asking for frequent flyer number, but it won't accept Delta's credentials...very frustrating"
Nadelen: "Could not check-in 24 hours in advance. No free drink due to 1 hour flight; water would have been good."

Nadelen: "An hour late without excuses and a 50 min wait for the luggage. Ridiculous!"
Voordelen: "Niks. Kost weinig, je krijgt nog veel minder. Toch?"
Nadelen: "De automatische stoeltoewijzing is klantje pesten. Heb je samen geboekt wordt je uit elkaar gehaald. Niet omdat er geen plek is, maar gewoon omdat het kan. Pesterij. Boarden: je word zo snel mogelijk de gate in geveegd en dan mag je daar wachten tot het blijkbaar echt nodig was dat je er was."
Nadelen: "One hour delay"
Voordelen: "That I could buy a ticket on the day (EasyJet said they were sold out at the desk but Kayak had one online - well done Kayak)."
Nadelen: "The queue to check in that was caused partly by weighing cases for the cargo hold and trying to charge extra at a higher 'desk rate' forcing people to either pay the desk rate or open their bags and transfer stuff to their carry on bag. The lack of room for carry on bags, requiring that some bags be transferred to the hold (caused by the above 'luggage transferring fiasco). The two people at the desk with a queue of hundreds waiting to check in. The one hour delay in the flight. The marathon walk to the other end of the airport to board the plane."
Nadelen: "The plane had a hole in the wing. we sat for an hour on our sits till we got an engineer to look at it and put sticky tape. It was very stressfull flight. we couldnt go to the toilets while we were sitting on the tarmac for 1 hr"
Voordelen: "Efficient, friendly crew, excellent announcements from the flight deck"
Nadelen: "Late for 30 min overall, long boarding queue, coffee was so-so"
Voordelen: "Usual practical easyJet service."
Nadelen: "Long queue for passport control in Basel. What's going on with that?"
Voordelen: "Good crew."
Nadelen: "Flight was an hour late! Cabin interior looking tired and the seat was not particularly comfortable."
Nadelen: "No notice of delayed flight, food was rushed and plane very dated"
Voordelen: "The crew were great. The waiting rooms in Basel euroairport were good"
Nadelen: "A 7am flight with a two hour delay so we got up at 4am for nothing. The email woke us at 4am and said we must still check in at the same time. Once boarded we had a further delay of half an hour. The queues were quick at Basel but dreadful at passport control at Gatwick. Presumably because were were so late. Meant we had to run and stress ourselves to get next transport. We are too old for all that. If not for all that I would have been saying what a great flight"
Nadelen: "Flight 1.5 hour delay"
Voordelen: "Staff courteous and helpful, information mostly good including on delays. Food and drink options on flight mostly good though additional cost. Plane clean and comfortable enough for a 3hr flight."
Nadelen: "Random seat allocation without additional payment, Split airport is small and cramped with lots of people sitting / lying on the floor due to lack of seats - they appear to be building a new terminal to upgrade this. Food / beverage options at Split poor with large queues and low quality. Flight delayed circa half an hour. Person behind me kept putting knee in my back whilst talking loudly to neighbours despite me asking him to refrain... Split airport process of bag drop then security then passport control did lead to repeated queueing though not for a huge amount of time. Suggests the systems are not quite as high tech as other airports. No entertainment applicable to this flight."
Voordelen: "Easy boarding and quick to receive baggage in Gatwick"
Nadelen: "Late opening of check-in. 2 desks allocated so 2 long queues. 20 mins into check-in the queue I was in changed to priority boarding. This necessary information should have been indicated in advance as 90% of the passengers were in the wrong queue. As for aircrew 1 of the female crew was miserable as sin and unhelpful to most passengers"
Voordelen: "Not a lot."
Nadelen: "Seats were changed without notice meaning my girlfriend and I were seated separately even though we were on the same booking - and the crew were less than helpful in resolving this, we had to correct the issue ourselves with another willing passenger. The flight was delayed by an hour and no real explanation or apology was offered. Terrible end to an incredible holiday."

Nadelen: "Easyjet behandeld je als vee. Je hebt als passagiers niets te vertellen en als je protesteert beroept het personeel zich op policy. Handbagage is zo'n policy. Elke keer moet je je handbagage achterlaten bij de trap en als je dan in het vliegtuig komt zie je overal lege vakken."
Voordelen: "The staff at Toulouse were very in helpful and this is the first time I have used you in over three years and will not use you again . I normally use BA and I thought I would try you as you keep sending emails but please stop as I found you as bad as Ryanair ."
Nadelen: "The way your staff would not let me on and kept me to the back and charged 66.00euros for my bag to go in the hold and if I had paid £10.00 I could take two backs on . I am70 years old and l have never felt degraded as I did today. Go and look how B A handle things and learn. Michael Richer"
Voordelen: "Almost nothing. Access to the toilet was the best working amenity"
Nadelen: "Late take off casually attributed to a technical fault in the cockpit, overly brusque staff, long queues boarding, delays in air, bumpy landing, and NO STAIRS TO THE BUS UPON ARRIVAL FOR 15 MINUTES! Who is managing communications??"
Nadelen: "Drink /food trolley didn't make it to row 18 during the flight"

Voordelen: "Flight arrived ahead of schedule - second time this happens with an easyJet flight!"
Nadelen: "The waiting room after border control and before boarding was extremely crammed, there wasn't even space for sitting on the ground.."
Nadelen: "Fairly cramped seats, constantly trying to sell me stuff at ridiculous prices"
Voordelen: "Flight on time"
Nadelen: "Overpriced water £1.80 for small bottle rounded up to €2.50 - double ripoff"
Nadelen: "There's no lifts to board the planes. So with your on-board luggage, a buggy and a baby it is really hard with the stairs and there's no one around to help"
Voordelen: "New laptop ban was notified by email and text, so all ready when I arrived at airport. This is a lowish cost airline and crew were good, but does offer really good value and worth paying a bit more than some of the cheapest out there. Not too much different to BA, but friendlier and better value. Flight was a bit late leaving, but arrived pretty much on time. Food is also pretty good value, high street cafe prices, although the ham and cheese toastie is not recommended. But everything else was fine."
Nadelen: "Laptop ban is a pain, but not Easyjet's fault."
Voordelen: "The flight was very late over an hour late and as a results I have to take taxi from schipol airport to Amersfoort which cost me a lot"
Voordelen: "Crew pleasant and professional. Explained the headwind would add time"
Nadelen: "No gate number posted at airport just told the flight was boarding!"

Nadelen: "Return flight was delayed for an hour and passengers were not informed why there was a delay until the captain mentioned it."
Nadelen: "Hele lange rij voor bagage drop Schiphol. 90min staan wachten. 2u20min voor vlucht aanwezig, en toch bijna rennen naar de gate, niet relaxt."
Voordelen: "Seats comfortable and good leg room."
Nadelen: "Took a lunchtime flight. There is a fairly extensive list of food in their in-flight magazine, including meal deals and hot/cold andwiches. However, if you have a seat towards the back the likelihood is they will run out of sandwiches and hot food before they reach you - as they did with me! Crew not very sympathetic. So you might want to buy something before you board."
Nadelen: "mijn heen en terugreis ging niet door vanwege het feit dat we Bosnië niet inmogen omdat deze nog code oranje heeft. tot op heden hebben we de heenreis 08.08 en de terugreis 20.08 niet kunnen cancellen aangezien Wizzair zegt dat ik dit bij de agent (Opodo) moet doen, en Opodo zegt dat ik dit bij Wizzair moest doen. D.d. 30.07. laatste contact met Wizzair gehad om enige formulieren aan te leveren. Tot op heden hier geen antwoord meer van gehad. We hebben nu via onze verzekering Rechtsbijstand ingeschakeld. in ieder geval hebben we nu al besloten om nooit meer via Wizzair te vliegen. we boeken wel via een reisbureau."

Nadelen: "There was no paper towel in the toilet, the water for the tee was not warm enough to have tee. We have been told to have 10-20 min delay we arrived much later. And the intonation of the speaking stewardess was so annoying that you could not listen to it :( These are minor things but can change the customer experience."

If you complain then they offer for €5,- to skip the line and check in your luggage. I thought it was a joke, but they give you receipt and all. Very unprofessional."
Nadelen: "Having flown with Wizzair before, also to Gdansk and other cities, it a budget airline but okay. Budapest is kind of their hub, but what a terrible way to treat your customers. Get your baggage drop off automated!!They left everybody freezing on the apron because they only had one stairs available."
Nadelen: "Seats are terrible."
Voordelen: "On time departure"
Nadelen: "We arrived at the airport 2.5 hours earlier than departure as suggested. They opened check in for Naples on the boards but the agents would not let anyone for Naples check in/bag drop. Once allowed it was chaos in the line. Once we got through security our flight posted as “boarding”. We got there in time but the unnecessary rush was uncomfortable and chaotic."
Voordelen: "On time, cabin crew, ease of boarding and amount of bags I could take with Priority Boarding"
Nadelen: "My seat hadn't been cleaned prooerly before I got there and if I hadn't done it myself, I would have someone else's chocolate all over the seat of my trousers. Also, the bathroom floors were really gross, to the point I had to roll uo the legs of my trousers so they didn't get wet when I needed to use the toilet."
Voordelen: "We got to our destination."
Nadelen: "There was a problem with their website that was out of our control, that didn’t allow us to print boarding passes and we were charged at the airport even though we had proof we tried and were not able through no fault of our own"
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed and there was even no information about it. Gate number was changed after boarding time and we didn’t hear any appologize not even receive some meal vouchers or food on board. We arrived more then 1 hour later- I can not evalute this as a good service."
Voordelen: "Good legroom and comfortable seats"
Nadelen: "Horrible web/check in experience, 2hour delay. Inexistence of entertainment or comfort. What else can be said ?"

Nadelen: "The boarding process was terrible, took a long time - few and not enough boarding and suitcases counters, which made people wait for a long time and even let others to pass them in line because their flight was earlier. due to this our flight was late by 45 minutes. the food was too expensive."

Nadelen: "flight was delayed by 90min, boarding started (even plane wasn't here yet; people herded to air field, waiting, then sent back to terminal, for nothing, all in the rain flight supposedly delayed by 30min (really 90min) due to plane late from Belgrade (WizzAir doesn't have a scheduled flight form Belgrade) - clueless or making up stories to get rid of guests?"
Voordelen: "Quickest in & out procedure at both BUD and LTN in a long time and a super pretty flight attendant."
Voordelen: "Price and schedule. Going on time with no delays. Good value for money."
Nadelen: "Very hard on baggage policy"

Nadelen: "-Crew were very rude, check in crew and flight attendants -Luggage and checking in fees not advertised enough. Too many people getting their money stolen by Wizz Air. - Boarding extremely chaotic and not organized."

Nadelen: "I had no what so ever notice that an online check in is required during my booking ,therefore i had to pay a 35 EUR fine for airport check in . Moreover , on the way back we had a long delay from Luton to Kosice without informing us about this delay and the reasons ,expected time of flight..."
Nadelen: "Priority: advantage only on call. Afterwards no adantage afterwardsroom for hand luggage"
Nadelen: "Was delayed on tarmac due to security error, not their error, but they seemed unwilling to at least give people complimentary water or coffee. Cheap airline they are!"
Nadelen: ""Wizard of Oz Airlines" I'm surprised the pilots didn't ask for another hidden fee! Please book a full fair on a major carrier instead of hidden fee fiasco at the airport. headaches before a flight. Keep in mind no wizz staff to talk to before flight or in Budapest. Private contractors from airport do all the check in process and departures."
Nadelen: "Arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure, I was not aware you can't checkin at the airport and need to pay 30 euros for it. The treatment and the attitude from the personnel at the check in counter was rude, they were short and unkind The staff member in charge of charging for checking was incredibly slow, there were 4 people in line including me and it took her 40 minutes to charge me the 30 euros This was after I already stood in line for the ticket for another 30 mins I almost missed my flight due to their poor handling"
Voordelen: "Nothing at all"
Nadelen: "The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again."
Voordelen: "We arrived safely"
Nadelen: "Told our bag was too big even though we'd paid for a large carry on, which we already knew fit in the overhead compartment (plane was an airbus A320). We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Nadelen: "I've flown on dozens of airlines, and Wizz Air has to be one of the absolute worst in terms of arbitrary and punitive charges. I managed to avoid them, but you never know when they'll give you a €30 fee because your shoelaces are too long."
