Nadelen: "A Japan Airlines employee escorted me every step of the way to ensure that I made my connecting flight from Tokyo to San Diego because I only had an hour and ten minute layover and this can be challenging when you’re in a foreign country. I cannot thank Japan Airlines enough for how easy they made traveling and how comfortable they made me feel. I Highly recommend flying Japan Airlines for your travels."

Nadelen: "The flight was late to board. The crew was polite but not overly friendly. I wish they had an earlier flight so we didn't have a 15 hr delay in Narita but I guess the itinerary is what it is."

Voordelen: "The food is good. The seats for regular economy are a bit more spacious. They also have some deal with fast food restaurants, Mos Burger and Yoshinoya so sometimes you can get their air version of the fast-food meals. I had Yoshinoya and it was pretty good. The entertainment was okay, the only 2 things I wanted to watch was John Wick 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but the movies change every month so it was probably a bad batch. Also free toothbrushes and toothpaste available on the plane and a self service snack area. Overall it was great."

Nadelen: "The cabin area was extremely warm; at one point, I had to take out the safety card and fan myself. There was no explanation why the approximately 5-hour flight was uncomfortably warm. During the flight, I woke up from a sound sleep because of the heat in the cabin."

Voordelen: "I've been always flying with U.S. airlines this past several years just because transits are easier. I forgot about how friendly and nicer JAL crews are. Their food is much much better. They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

I was originally being put in a row right behind the bulkhead with no individual monitor and a seat that was extremely cramped because of the tray table. I knew that I would be able to hang for a 13 hour flight and fortunately, the flight attendant was able to move my wife and I."

Seats even in basic economy are very comfortable with adequate legroom for my 250 lbs frame. Food is good with two choices and an option to customize online prior to the flight; and drinks are offered several times during the flight with numerous choices plus hot coffee and tea. Restrooms are cleaned several times during the flight and are stocked with amenities like toothbrush and paste, blindfold for sleeping, lotions etc."

Crew were friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. Sleeping masks and earplugs were provided in the lavatory."

Nadelen: "Flight attendant made my glass of water and starter fall down. She gave me a dessert extra (!) as a replacement and promised to come and clean it up and to bring a new cover. She never came. Eventually, I asked another attendant who put me in another chair and cleaned up. During the flight, NO water was distributed at all. Normally, this is done every 1-2 hours."

Voordelen: "Nice new 777 planes on all international routes, food was above average, crew friendly and attentive. This is the first time I give an airline overall 5 stars!"

Nadelen: "My 17 yr old son is stranded in Doha because Qatar cancelled his connection to Nairobi which is unprofessional and terribly worrisome . I, his mother, am in Greece with no way ofhelping him get to Kenya. Qatar offers no restitution and no help . The worst situation right now!"

Nadelen: "Old plane, some kind of tablet thing with an attached remote almost impossible to figure out even how it works. 7hr flight and I only saw the steward twice."

Voordelen: "I liked the food, the crew, and the team at the airport was nice and professional. There was a air host by the name of Zaid or Zain and he was from Bombay. Really nice person and very easy to talk to."

Nadelen: "When I checked my two bags, I was told to pick them up in Doha and recheck them to my final destination at Rwanda. When I arrived in Doha I was told by the transfer desk that I did not need to pick up my bags because they had been checked to my final destination. I even asked them to pull up my flight information and to confirm that, which they did. However, when I arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, my bags were no where to be found. No one has found them yet. I also called Qatar Air before my flight and asked about hotel accommodations for my layover because my layover was from 6:00 pm to 7 am. When I called, I was told that I would be given a complimentary hotel room because of the length of the layover. However, when I arrived I was told that I did not qualify for the hotel accommodation. Then, I was told that a hotel room would cost 250. When i arrived at the hotel, I was told the cheapest was 325."

Nadelen: "In the bathrooms there was only one type of tissue paper beside the toilet paper. Adding a thicker paper towel like most airlines do would be better so that passengers can clean up any water splashes as soft tissue is not effective for this."

Nadelen: "The food was okay. The hot wrap/calzone served first was not very tasteful. The breakfast/brunch was better. Not much to dislike overall."

Qatar Airway is a hyper money hungry scammer who catches customers to rip money off from and creates a super tedious and painful experience for customers to ensure their private gains!!! Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"

I got delaied 2 hours at the turkish airport plus the 7 hours lay over, total 9 hours, the gate travel service didnt give us any reason for the dealy, the customes gathered us in a small area where there is no seats and the bathroom was smelling so bad, we were stsrving and not even water been served to us, i missed my ride to the hotel in Amman, and missed my work breakfast orientation."

Nadelen: "There was no boarding announcement. I was given a boarding zone for no reason; boarding was a free for all. Our flight was delayed by almost an hour. We sat on the plane, by the gate, while the crew called the Istanbul Flight Control to figure out when our plane could arrive. This flight had been scheduled for weeks; I would think they could plan the arrival time to be the ACTUAL arrival time."

Nadelen: "since i had a connecting flight and in changing timezones i as served breakfast in both flights in a duration of 12 hours. the food was also not according to my taste buds."

Nadelen: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

Nadelen: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"
