Nadelen: Why is my passport number wrong?
Voordelen: The flight was fine
Nadelen: Had to process in and out of immigration then back into airport No transit area
Voordelen: The plane was new, the plane was clean, and all the airline hostesses were not 65 years old. Oh and everyone complaining about the visa requirements for China. Bend over a take one for the team like a man just Go to a travel agent in any in China Town. $100 US will get you a bias good for 10 years and it only take a week. Otherwise fly Delta for $1200.
Nadelen: Limited selection of English language movies but hey it was a China airline so no bit surprise there.
Voordelen: Almost nothing, this was a terrible flight and experience! The movies were good, that's about it.
Nadelen: No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.
Voordelen: In general, the service is OK, but not outstanding. Try to do better!
Nadelen: There is still room for improvement. Flight attendants need to be better trained in dealing with passengers. Spend the time to "listen" thoroughly instead of saying "OK I know" & then fuffill the passengers request. Sometimes, little details matter, even they did the job right. Try to do better!
Nadelen: Where are my bags ? So my bag was on the flight but it’s been 2 hours and no bag ? Talk about ruining the whole travel experience because after a 16 hour flights your bag isn’t here and no one seems to know what happened . So they have you waiting 2 hours diiddling yourself and no one has any information . Go China southern yeah ! NOT

Nadelen: I didn't have any luggage but an associate that I met on the flight complained that it took too long to get his luggage and that the luggage was not labeled. I did not understand the English announcements during the flight. Either the audio system needs to be improved or the announcers need to speak without heavy accent or both.

Nadelen: Food quality was pretty poor. It used to be so good. I had sea bass which was so dry. There were a group of 30 people travelling together. They monopolised the lobby bar and were rowdy and noisy despite requests from the crew. The flat bed is so hard, it needs a mattress.
Voordelen: Seats are not too tight. Professional crew. Ventilation and overall aircraft comfort was good.
Nadelen: Food can be better.
Nadelen: Too little space for carry on compartments. Seats are too tight and tiny, very uncomfortable, staff not interacting or smiling, food was disgusting and tasteless, the aircraft seemed old and was so incredibly noisy the whole trip, and the ventilation was too bad the smell was just old and rusty.
Voordelen: The flight was not full. . I had 3 seats to myself. So very comfortable and the crew had plenty of time to give individual attention . The flight was very punctual. Arrived 20.minutes early .
Nadelen: The food was a little cold .

Nadelen: A passenger clipped her nails without collecting her clippings while a crew person passed by. Although it may be that this is a culturally accepted practice, I would prefer that in international flights, a crew member will request the passenger to clean after themselves or do it in the lavatory.

Voordelen: The food on Jet Airways is great especially if you like Indian which I do. Otherwise you're SOL. The staff is friendly enough and the planes are clean
Nadelen: The entertainment sucks. Movies are old as are TV shows. Lots of channels but nothing to watch. Also boarding is not done in any particular way so it is a bit chaotic.Most airlines board by rows.
Voordelen: Nice new plane. Good seats. Good seat space between you and person in front of you.

Nadelen: Food can be adjusted to the cuisine of the destination.
Nadelen: Low cost airline so they charge you for everything. I had to pay $159 to check a bag for a 1.5 hour flight. That nearly doubled the cost of the original ticket. By the time they charge you for everything, you don't save any money. And they even weigh every purse, backpack, handbag, etc. at the gate and start charging customers for carry on. Don't fly with these guys. And because their customers are dissatisfied, all the employees I encountered were rude.
Voordelen: The crew were great and served food timely. The seats were also comfortable and we traveled with infant. The crew was super supportive for parents with infant.
Nadelen: dont falsely claim that you have wifi if you cannot connect to satellite. The ground staffs needs training on behavior and how to treat infants.

Nadelen: Plane seemed a little worn, which surprised me since it was an A380. Not that old. I had purchased an upgrade to a seat with more legroom, only to find out there was no USB plug for charging my phone. All standard seats have them. Would have been nice to be warned about that.
Voordelen: I did like Flying with Delta and Air France but not with Ukrainian airlines (when booking , it should tell you what airlines will be used , to make a better selection )
Nadelen: When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !
Voordelen: The crew
Nadelen: Everything was incredibly poor. Flight was delayed, entertainment was outdated and the airport staff were rude.
Nadelen: Hostesses are worse and worse. Forget everything you say. You repeat 5 times. All announcements are made so loudly and 3 times (Russian, English, Spanish). Everyone must wake up. It roars so loadly you can’t hide even in headphones. Late for 30 minutes, which is norm for the company. Then you for the luggage for more than 30 minutes. Worst in Europe.
Nadelen: Missed the connecting flight in Moscow because the airline does not allow enough connection time. There were 2 people at the transfer desk to accommodate this situation for at least 4 other flights. They made me check my bag for being overweight by .1 kilogram. I dont know if I will ever see it again and i have 2 more weeks of vacation.
Voordelen: Excellent service from crew

Nadelen: Quality of the food dropped significantly even since last year. Sound of entertainment system was so bad that I have not been able watch not even enjoy movies.
Nadelen: The video screens in the cabin - especially when in default menu mode and not actually in use - are bright... really bright. I was unable to sleep because someone didn’t turn theirs off before falling asleep. Then - after landing, they simply can’t be turned off as the loop a Dreamliner promo of footage shot in the bright sky. The screen brightness is NOT adjustable during the promo and sunglasses were needed since I had no option but to have it shine in my face.

Nadelen: Departure was suddenly changed from 4 to 7 without clear announcement. On the Norwegian terminal nor on the departure boards nothing was indicated nor had anybody bothered to leave a note or sign on the Norwegian Terminal 4. I discovered at the last minute as I hearD a “last boarding call” announcement in the Knick of time
Nadelen: Too many delays, airplane was cold
Nadelen: SERVICE. ORGANIZATION WAS AWFUL. TWO HOURS TO CHECK IN.
Nadelen: 2 hr delay
Voordelen: New plane, good food choices.
Nadelen: Plane could use a deep clean. Entertainment choices were limited in terms of latest blockbusters.
Nadelen: My headphones didn’t work
Voordelen: Boarding was ok in Dublin, even though they habitually use one of the poor gates with inadequate seating and entry to the plane from the tarmac, not via a bridge. queing and check in were well managed however.
Nadelen: Disembarked at Helsinki unto a bus. Despite landing roughly on time, this antiquated procedure effectively made the flight 20 mins late, as that’s when the passengers got to the terminal.
Voordelen: I wish I found somebody to take me around

Nadelen: The food- ran out of options- I’m not vegetarian but they had no options at all. The crew- not particularly engaged or attentive The drinks- poor selection, warm
Nadelen: Lost my checkedin baggage. Missed my connection flight from Muscat due to delay in arrival from Istanbul
Voordelen: Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep.
Nadelen: I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly.
Nadelen: Slow check in at Kathmandu
Voordelen: It was only a short trip from Doha to Muscat to Dubai but it went very well. The flights were on time, the plane was comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
Nadelen: My only concern was that unless I caught the 4.00 pm flight I had to wait until the 7.30 pm (4 hour layover) or 9.30 pm (2 hour layover) flights from Doha both of which do not get to Dubai until 3.30 am. I could not catch the 4.00 pm as it was a work day. The flight timings are not good.
Voordelen: The whole flying experience was great for a great price!
Nadelen: This was my 2nd international flight with China Eastern Air. Both were delayed out of SFO because they didn't have planes. I missed my connection (even though I had a 4 hour layover)
Nadelen: Dont expect for them to deliver on transportation and accomodations if you fly on Business class as adevrtised in their web page. It was imposible to get them to answer my requests by phone, email and in person.
Voordelen: Excellent, fully reclinable seating in business class, along with superior service
Nadelen: Limited and relatively poor selection of movies and music on offer
Voordelen: The airport transfer for boarding transfers. There was no assistance for those who have transfer flights in the stop over in shanghai
Nadelen: Pls provide assistance for those who have transfer flights. Like which gate they are going to transfer. I had to ask around where my gate was since it was not indicated in the ticket. I would save time if there was assistance feom the crew.
Voordelen: I was late for my flight and the crew got me on standby for the next flight. No charges and no charge for checked bag. Exceptional customer service.
Nadelen: I don’t need 3 meals. I need rest. I’d rather we turn out the lights

Voordelen: Once aboard the plane, all went well and I experienced excellent service from the cabin attendants.
Nadelen: The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!
Nadelen: Faultless handling of weather delay, causing missed connection and flight transfer. A well oiled machine, thank you.
Voordelen: And i got it 2 days later. I had to buy a lot of items which were in my suitcase The returning of the suitcase was awfull. In tge end after many phone calls I received it On the 18/12 evening, 2 days after my landing
Voordelen: Crew's hospitality, good music, good destination material, terminal info, good system overall
Nadelen: Less legroom, storage space, bad food, few movie options.
Voordelen: The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled.
Nadelen: This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu.
Voordelen: I liked the price of the trip and free hotel for long transit time.
Nadelen: Early arrival in Xiamen (5am) nothing open and no way to exchange money for taxi or food. Eventually found ATM that solved that problem. Wasn't dressed for or expecting the cold weather. Communications were a problem.
Nadelen: The check in staff did not let me check in and denied to support me! The reason was that my first name, middle name and last name were written in English order, not in Chinese order! I want my money back! All of my plan and meetings in Xiamen were cancelled!
