TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Nadelen: "Check in and bag drop took us 1 hour even though we had already checked in online. hard, and narrow seats, needs more legroom for international travel, armrest between my wife and I was very wide and wouldn't go up all the way making it extremely uncomfortable for us on a flight from Miami to Portugal. My wife's seat didn't recline because it was broken. And to top it all off they lost one of our luggage tags because the lady in Miami tagged the bag with somebody else's name and destination on it. Still waiting to hear if I'm going to have my luggage for one year anniversary vacation....!"

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Nadelen: "Your change and return policy is a ripoff."

Voordelen: "I asked if it were possible to change my seat at the gate and was promptly given a window seat. They were very pleasant and professional. Food was very good and movie choices excellent. Good customer service."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed leaving Boston due to an ac problem. In the end they got it squared away but we sat on the plane for an hour at the gate with absolutely no air flow and it was pretty uncomfortable. Feel as though they should've come around and gave waters, etc to passengers. Also could have improved the selection of in flight entertainment, not many offerings"

Nadelen: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Nadelen: "Having to wait 3 hours in Lisbon airport after airline failed to hold our ny flight leg. Needed to stay overnight and be rebooked. Customer service lines in Lisbon worst I have seen in over 30 years of flying"

Nadelen: "Need bigger pillows!"

Nadelen: "2.5 hours in line to check in with the one agent working if you were not a gold whatever member. The same agent was at the gate taking tickets loading a single bus up at a time while everybody waited for the same bus to return to be reloaded. Ended up leaving an hour late due to being unable to load people on the plane, then a ground crew issue with loading bags extended the delay. No food service and voucher was given to cafeteria on exact opposite side and floor of airport. only reason we were able to use was because of the huge delays and problems trying to load the airplane. After the safety demonstration the flight attendants went to rear of plane and sat down in their jump seats for rest of flight. People were approaching them asking for water otherwise they ignored us. After landing stairs were used at rear of plane and door was opened. As we were two rows from the rear my girlfriend asked the male attendant 4 times if we were allowed to use the rear stairs as we were bus loading anyways, he never answered, looked at or acknowledged her speaking to him, he just stood at rear of the aisle ( 3.5 feet away) adjusting his tie and flattening his jacket sleeves. Was very awkward."

Voordelen: "The staff was very nice. Only bad incident was the misinformation on getting the D Tax. We went early to the airport to do it but could not get it because of erroneous information form the check in agent."
Nadelen: "When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip."

Nadelen: "The uncomfortable seats ."

Nadelen: "It's always fun to go into the bathroom and find a sink ful of puke in there. It had been there for some time by the stench and they way it had slopped all over. I told the flight attendant and they were like oh well. It was gross. Add that on top of I am a DISABLED person and I could not carry my case up the steps and was told someone would bring it up. They did not. It went under the plane with no tag and then when I arrived in Lisbon it was somehow my fault. The flight crew there trying to "assist" were horrendous. I was actually told I should not be flying internationally if I can't carry my bag. Isn't there rules about bags flying unattended? Even internationally. How was my LAPTOP case supposed to get to EWR without a tag? Shouldn't it have been checked? Shouldn't the crew have noticed this and said something to flight attendants? The club and plane both were filthy. The first seat I sat in in the club smelled so strongly of pee I had to go stand (as it was so crowded) I am a million mile flyer and I will never fly TAP again."

Voordelen: "Excellent service on board and at the ground... Very convenient United conection in the US :)"

Voordelen: "The checkin staff at LHR were really good and helped me with my visa application. They helped me to not miss my flight. Ten out of ten for them."
Nadelen: "In flight food was very poor"

Nadelen: "Overbooked the flight by 20 people and split up our group of 4 traveling together. They gave 3 of us tickets and then told my dad who is the least experience traveler that he doesn't have a seat because he didn't check in online even though we were at the airport 2 hours ahead to check in. Paying $1000 for a ticket and then being told you don't have a seat is absolutely unprofessional and rediculous. We were traveling home from europe and had 2 other connections we had to make. After 3 hours they were able to transfer us all to another flight back to the states and then lost my dad's luggage. Horrible experience! Will not travel TAP again!"

Nadelen: "Our tickets said our flight was at 11. We got to the airport two hours early but found out our flight was actually at 10 (they wouldn't let us to try to make it). The airline didn't take into account / adjust the local time when we booked. Multiple customers experienced the same issue. We had to buy tickets on another airline."

Nadelen: "I love the flight attendants uniform. The ticket agent allowed me to change my seat to the exit row with no extra charge. Some of my group was charged for overweight bags and others weren't. A little inconsistent."

Nadelen: "Nether the Dutch government or the Greek government is allowing Americans into their countries, yet Transavia refuses to refund my ticket money. That is the height of abysmal, disrespectful, if not criminal service. Effectively, they stole my money."

Voordelen: "The plane was already delayed they didnt notify us and when they posted the time on the board, we went 15 mins before the take off and they didnt let us on the plane"

Voordelen: "Schiphol was as busy as I’ve ever seen it even at 5am in the morning, but the combination of efficient systems and good natured staff throughout made everything flow very well. This good nature and friendliness was extended into the flight crew who were great. Unfortunate that the flight was delayed by an hour, but I understand this was no fault of the airline or crew. I just made my connection in Lisbon, so all was well. I’d also like to mention the helpful lady at bag drop. A nice reception is always appreciated."
Nadelen: "More updates from the flight deck during the delay would have been nice, but overall I was impressed and would certainly fly with that airline again."

Nadelen: "The flight was perfect the only thing that concerned me was that two female passengers were allowed into the cockpit about thirty minutes prior to landing and stayed in their for the duration including landing. Did not know that that was allowed. Other than that it was perfect."

Nadelen: "De vlucht was een uur vertraagd maar de melding daarover kwam pas een uur voor vertrek. Check-in en boarding vond plaats op de eerst gecommuniceerde tijden en daarom kwam ik bijna te laat. Slecht geregeld. Had een sms verwacht."

Nadelen: "We will never fly Air France, Transavia or Dutch airlines again. Terrible planes for Air France and terrible checking in and connecting flights for transavia and Dutch airlines"

Voordelen: "Vlogen naar Lissabon samen met ons nichtje van 16. Was kennelijk aan de late kant met online inchecken want konden niet meer naast elkaar zitten. Toen we aan board stapten vroeg ik aan de steward of de kist vol was of dat er nog een mogelijkheid was om iets te veranderen waardoor we toch met z'n drieën naast elkaar konden zitten. We zitten helaas vol, antwoordde hij. Toch kwam hij een kwartiertje later met het bericht dat er voorin toch drie vrije plaatsen naast elkaar waren, top!"

Voordelen: "Alles was prima in orde, behalve dat ik moest betalen voor overgewicht van mijn handbagage...Ik moest medcijnen en medische apparatuur terugnemen naar huis en kon niet anders...."
Nadelen: "De externe service provider van assistentie krijgt een dikke onvoldoende..3-4 hulpbehoevende passagiers, waaronder ik, hebben meer dan een half uur moeten wachten tot er iemand met een rolstoel kwam opdagen"

Nadelen: "Physically stood in the sun on the tarmac for half an hour in Marrakech waiting to board the plane. Seating is so compact it’s physically impossible for me to fit, I’m 6’3” then it took an hour forty five minutes to get our checked luggage in Lisbon. Everyone was furious. No explanation from the airport or airline. We missed our hotel shuttle, missed our hotel checkin. Just terrible."

Nadelen: "Vlucht Malaga-Amsterdam voor de zoveelste keer alweer met enorme vertraging vertrokken. Vanwege aankomst in Amsterdam na middernacht additionele dag parkeren moeten betalen. Door Transavia veroorzaakte kosten zijn helaas té laag en het kost teveel moeite om dit te declareren, maar toch: ONACCEPTABEL!"

Nadelen: "Vlucht Malaga-Amsterdam voor de zoveelste keer alweer met enorme vertraging vertrokken. Vanwege aankomst in Amsterdam na middernacht additionele dag parkeren moeten betalen. Nadelen: "The flight departed about 45 minutes late. Despite it being a late evening flight, they NEVER turned out the lights, which would have made people a bit more quiet and sleep. Instead it was a wild party with adults shouting all over the place. A girl sitting next to me was cutting her finger nails. Couldn't get any rest whatsoever. Also my seat did not recline."

Nadelen: "1. Check-in Agent was rude. 2. Carry-on bag were taken at the Check-in Counter without my permission - and checked through to destination. The carry-on contained an iPad (still in the 'On' Mode) as well as diabetic medication and foods. 3. Flight left an hour late but passengers were not given updates until 15 minutes before we were able to leave. 4. Not much in-flight service and noone came by to collect garbage, empty water bottle, etc."

Nadelen: "They didn’t even give water without charging for it. Water is a basic need The hidden baggage fees. I was informed at checkin that I wasn’t allowed a checked bag from Amsterdam via Madrid to Miami. It is the first time I have ever flown internationally where you don’t get 1 bag at least to check in. The. The fee was €150 one way to check a bag. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"

Nadelen: "The seats were very uncomfortable for a long flight. There was also no air circulation so it was extremely hot. The fact that we had to pay for internet is ridiculous. How much more money are these airlines trying to pump out of us? I will not be flying with air europa in the future."

Voordelen: "Two meals and some in-flight entertainment. Not too bad. You can order a special meal (such as vegetarian) by calling the service center, and it's served first."

Nadelen: "It was delayed, as normally, 45 mins this time. Awful experience going through security in CDG I would avoid that airport at all cost. Randomly making you wait luggage before security, with add extra 30 mins to the security processes, not sympathy of staff even if flight people may miss their flight."

Nadelen: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."

Voordelen: "The boarding was easy. Having a blanket and pillow at my seat."
Nadelen: "The delay and short time between flights to get to gate and get through customs. Having no in flight entertainment for a 7.5 hour flight. There was not a vegetarian snack option for my daughter."

Voordelen: "The flight was easy to board when it was time. We left and arrived on time."
Nadelen: "There was only one person initially checking people in. Then when there was a second person, she was going to make us move to the end of the other line after waiting 30 minutes. She did end up taking us, but it was only after conceding that."

Nadelen: "only food and water for purchasing no entretainment."

Voordelen: "Great price to value ratio, attentive crew, good food. Wifi available."
Nadelen: "Older panes with no phone jack charging options. What's the use of Wifi if your battery runs low or dies. They have charging ports in Business Class. I don't remember the last time I was on a plane with at least phone charging ports."

Voordelen: "Price was great, flight crew very attentive, even the food was good."
Nadelen: "The seats didn't have a port to charge phones. Older planes with antiquated tech. Monitors on back of seats were also outdated. Plane was late leaving Madrid."

Nadelen: "Gave conflicting answers and slow status updates when the flight was rescheduled the next day, handled communication of rescheduled connections very poorly. No one, either at the gate or back in Spain, seemed to know what was going on. Will never fly with Air Europa again."

Voordelen: "We got to Lisbon in one piece. Comfortable during the flight. Well behaved neighbouring passengers."
Nadelen: "Although the flight is actually good, my overall experience is still poor due to the boarding crew at the gates. If anything I want to make an official complaint on how poor the services were towards other passengers and us. I will do this in the week."

Nadelen: "Both flights there and back we're delayed in total about 4hours and when you're away for a wkend that's a long time!! I've flown with other companies over the last few years and times have been spot on!"

Voordelen: "Aardige man die hielp bij aanschaffen van een horloge. Top dat jullie dit zo doen, zo snel en makkelijk feedback vragen. Heeft indruk gemaakt."

Nadelen: "An hour late without excuses and a 50 min wait for the luggage. Ridiculous!"

Voordelen: "Niks. Kost weinig, je krijgt nog veel minder. Toch?"
Nadelen: "De automatische stoeltoewijzing is klantje pesten. Heb je samen geboekt wordt je uit elkaar gehaald. Niet omdat er geen plek is, maar gewoon omdat het kan. Pesterij. Boarden: je word zo snel mogelijk de gate in geveegd en dan mag je daar wachten tot het blijkbaar echt nodig was dat je er was."

Voordelen: "Seats were as expected. Staff were friendly. Food was alright, but not much choice for gluten free! First officer explained the route we were taking home, which I find interesting and not all airlines do this now. Might have been nice to be told a little more at points on the way home. Smooth flight and landing, and ahead of schedule too! Luggage reclaim was quick too."
Nadelen: "The queue at check in was ridiculous! 1 lady serving with another for priority only. We stood in the queue for well over an hour and a half, which meant we almost had to literally run to board the plane! Not as relaxing as we'd hoped, especially as we arrived 20 minutes before the check in opened!"

Voordelen: "Everything went to schedule and the crew dealt with an illness emergency without fuss and I am sure more than half the passengers never knew about it."

Nadelen: "One hour delay"

Voordelen: "That I could buy a ticket on the day (EasyJet said they were sold out at the desk but Kayak had one online - well done Kayak)."
Nadelen: "The queue to check in that was caused partly by weighing cases for the cargo hold and trying to charge extra at a higher 'desk rate' forcing people to either pay the desk rate or open their bags and transfer stuff to their carry on bag. The lack of room for carry on bags, requiring that some bags be transferred to the hold (caused by the above 'luggage transferring fiasco). The two people at the desk with a queue of hundreds waiting to check in. The one hour delay in the flight. The marathon walk to the other end of the airport to board the plane."

Voordelen: "nothing"
Nadelen: "The plane had a hole in the wing. we sat for an hour on our sits till we got an engineer to look at it and put sticky tape. It was very stressfull flight. we couldnt go to the toilets while we were sitting on the tarmac for 1 hr"

Voordelen: "Flight itself was fine. Crew friendly and efficient."
Nadelen: "The flight was diverted to BOURNEMOUTH and 200+ passengerss left completely stranded and having to make their own way back to Gatwick as no onward travel provided. Appalling!"

Nadelen: "No notice of delayed flight, food was rushed and plane very dated"

Voordelen: "Had a great seat, 2f and middle seat was empty so had plenty of room to lounge about"

Voordelen: "Forget the flight, think where you’re heading!! Old Lisbon, Chiado, is well worth a visit. Almost seems like time stopped with all the architecture. People are friendly and not too pushy while selling you intems. Well worth a visit as a city break. B&B €25 for two per night!!"
Nadelen: "What would you expect from a great name? Still have to be disappointed! But while in Lisbon learn some words in Portuguese. They’re essential. If they see that that you’re making an effort, they’ll appreciate it more. Speak in foreign and straight away your price rises!"

Nadelen: "late departure"

Nadelen: "They didnt give me to carry laptop bag too. Only one hand carry include."

Voordelen: "Everything ran on time"
Nadelen: "One Air stewardess kept banging in to me while I was sat in my seat and it's not like I'm over weight and handing into the walk way, they were abrupt and rude to other people flying too. And one refused to give a man some water before we took off for his baby as he had spilt his, I later over heard them as I was at the back where they sit, saying I could have gave him water but he should have been more prepared and brought some with him! I mean to not allow a child some water is pretty low standards especially as he explain that he had spilt his!!!"

Voordelen: "In general i'm a big fan of Easy jet, nothing to claim in general"
Nadelen: "with the cancellation i had minimal services from airline. Very very poor hotel, transport to be organised on my own, same with food but all covert by easyjet at the end..... i was really badly impress, being a frequent traveller, about the quality of hotel, the worst since years ..."

Nadelen: "Ik moest rennen naar de gate omdat de schermen te laat waren. Er waren meer reizigers die onvriendelijk gewezen werden op het feit dat ze “te laat” waren."

Nadelen: "Schiphol is eigenlijk te groot. Alles kost veel tijd. Vlucht was half uur te laat"

Voordelen: "On time leaving"
Nadelen: "Hot lounge, a hold up getting on. Crew could have helped more stowing cases in the top lockers. Bumpy landing"

Nadelen: "Bus ticket sold on plane was quite restrictive and left every 50-60min not every hour as stated onboard."

Voordelen: "Nothing special to mention"
Nadelen: "No luggage room above our head, we had to leave our luggage somewhere else far from our seats and the crew should help us promptly to get those luggage back but no, we had to get it ourselves and had to wait till the very end after all the other passengers have already got off the plane. Not fair on us when we were sat next to exit but had to anxiously wait. Shame!"

Nadelen: "Easyjet behandeld je als vee. Je hebt als passagiers niets te vertellen en als je protesteert beroept het personeel zich op policy. Handbagage is zo'n policy. Elke keer moet je je handbagage achterlaten bij de trap en als je dan in het vliegtuig komt zie je overal lege vakken."

Voordelen: "Staff were pleasant, eager to help, efficient. Flight arrived early."
Nadelen: "A long time standing waiting for boarding - no seats."

Voordelen: "The allocated seating system avoids having to rush onboard to claim your seat. In the past it became quite chaotic when boarding the plane."
Nadelen: "The long wait to board our plane especially when it was so hot and clammy."

Voordelen: "The online booking & check in saved time. Process from baggage check in to boarding were smooth & hassle-free. That's what I need for a short flight. Will recommend to my brother when he & his wife travel to Europe end of this year"
Nadelen: "No time so approached the counter staff at the airport about baggage hold, info provided was not complete. Luckily found some time to double check online, saved €€€ on baggage hold. Also, pls ignore rating on the food & entertainment, there were none. Overall, experience good enough for my short flight."

Nadelen: "i was told by Easyjet that no flight for me on that day. I had flight from lisbon to frankfurt also. The customer suggested to buy ticket of TAP portugal which I did. Told to apply for compensation by email. Please help me in this regard. It was bad experience."

Nadelen: "Flight attendants more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. We went hours without water. I went back to the galley to get some and no one was there, so I served myself"

Voordelen: "Plane was clean and adequate seating"
Nadelen: "Plane was scheduled to leave at 8:15 and suddenly was changed and we left at 7:45. Flight attendants then forced us to check our small carry on items despite being told they were for a wedding the next day. Subsequently the bags were lost and then found four days earlier. Fortunately, we found our baggage but had to improvise for the wedding. Airport lost and found said that happens all the time with Vuelling and a baggage claim stub should just be discarded as worthless."

Voordelen: "Everything , we loved !! The crew was amazing, always eager to serve and help, the food was good and the timing was perfect!!! :)"

Nadelen: "Our flight was delayed over 3 hs, they kept changing the departure date with no explanation over and over again. about3 0 ppl couldnt even get on that plane. a complete disaster."

Nadelen: "We had to pay extra to check-In our luggage only for Vueling airlines to lose my friends luggage. They did not even make us feel like they would do everything possible to find it and it ruined the rest of our trip. My friend ended having to buy everything from underwear to shoes to clothes. Not only did it take time and energy to find clothes for her but it was very costly. I've flown MANY airlines and have never had deal with lost luggage so I was expecting more from the airline to do everything possible to located it or compensate us for their mistake, especially when we had to pay an additional $50 USD to check-in our luggage (that ultimately ended up lost). I would not recommend this airline."

Nadelen: "I was forced to check in my carryon bag because it was over 3 kg. So I checked in my baggage two full hours before departure and the layover was three and half hours. There should be no reason why my bag didn't make it on the plane and yet it did not make it on."
