Travelling with a baby is always challenging, it was further challenging when your upfront reserved seats were changed without you being given any notice and you are a Gold Star Alliance customer.

Nadelen: "Business class is basically what economy is on Air France or Swiss"

Nadelen: "There is no free beverage service, let alone snacks or meals. Some tickets do not allow you to pre-book a meal and there is no way to buy a hot meal even in a 12-hour flight.leg room is a bit small and carry on restrictions are getting lower all the time."

Nadelen: "We have a delay. Alrhoght we order kosher food- we werent in the list- so there was no food for us. At the end one of the passagers didnt wanted to eat so they gave us his portion. Was cold and the feeling of been forget is bad. Specially when you are traveling with a 2y old. That is hungry abd tired. Very disapointed."
Voordelen: "Check-in counter mentioned that our ticket did not include checked baggage, but she only charged for one bag (will be checking on my ticket and discussing with Aegean's corporate if I bought the correct ticket with checked bags). Boarding was easy and the crew was very nice and helpful throughout the flight. I was glad that they served a small meal - food was good...we're not talking about a restaurant meal. Seats were good and just wish there was some in-flight entertainment."

Nadelen: "Seats are too close together. I could not lower my tray table without hit my stomach: I would like to see some kind of entertainment."
Nadelen: "I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service."

Nadelen: "Unbeknownst to me, I needed a boarding pass prior to checking my luggage and there was a 35 Euro fee for one piece of luggage. I did not appreciate either one of these unexpected occurrences and extra fee."

Nadelen: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Nadelen: "Very tight seats. I am glad I am not a large person or had to sit next to one. It would have been very difficult. Even in these days of tight seats this was smaller than most."

Nadelen: "My luggage was broken and Aegean was not helpful in resolving the issue."

Nadelen: "The space between seats was awful. As a taller person, it made for a very uncomfortable flight. And on top of it, these tickets were quite expensive! I'd love for an airline to prioritize comfort without making that an upgrade. I'll think twice, probably three times before using Aegean again."

Nadelen: "On the outward flight Aegean sent me the next connection flight gate on my phone, but they didn't do that on the return flights. Anyway, it was easy enough to find the next gate inside the airport."
Voordelen: "The flight was completely full so they offered to check in the larger pieces of carry-on luggage for free. On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Nadelen: "Bought the ticket for Aegean Air flight. 1. Couldn't check-in online. 2. Waited in line at the airport, was not in the system, finally a ma smasher figured out our ticket was with Tarpon airline, found that deal and waited in that line. 3. Was told we had to pay for the suitcase.... Hmm. I thought that was one of the reasons we were paying 4 times as much as a RyanAir ticket. 4. On the return fight couldn't check-in online. 5. At the airport we were told to go the Aegean desk. 5. At the Aegean desk we were told we had to pay for the suitcase again, had to cross the airport to do that. 6. Finally found that desk, not called "Aegean" like we were told, but "GlobeGround" 7. Plane was delayed. 8. At the a Athens airport we were told Taron shouldn't have charged us. What's going on here?"

Nadelen: "They charge me on my two flight about 100 euros for my bags that's the worst , never had that and this is my first and last time I used them"
Voordelen: "We had a technical problem after take off and our flight needed to return to Athens airport. The Captain assured all the pax this was not a safety related issue, and a fresh plane would be ready for us when we landed in Athens. After landing in Athens at a remote gate, we were bussed to the terminal, waited for no more than 10 minutes to another aircraft to make our journey to Paris. As we got on the bus to go to the new aircraft we were handed a letter with apologies for the disruption. In this letter we were offered a free flight anywhere within the Aegean Airlines network, valid for 12 months. I thought this was great customer recovery. The same technical and cabin crew took our new plane to Paris and we managed to make up a reasonable amount of time delay. This was an unforeseen situation handled very well. Well done Aegean."

Nadelen: "I didn't like that they don't seem to honor the benefits afforded to Star Alliance Premier Members. Not at check in, and not at boarding. They just do their own thing. If they don't want to follow the Star Alliance rules, then they shouldn't be part of Star Alliance. It's that simple."
Voordelen: "Comfortable airplane, excellent food, great service. No in-flight entertainment but I didn't expect entertainment on a regional flight. Overall this was a great travel experience. It's easy to see why Aegean Airlines is a top rated carrier!"

Lufthansa is always late... better on our way back to Munich & Amsterdam. Outbound was a painful experience. Will consider to use them in the future.

Nadelen: "Our flight was 9 hours late. We were given no notice of this until we arrived at the gate. it took an hour if holding before we could reach customer service. Customer service at our arrival gate was extremely slow. Baggage claim closed before my daughter’s luggage was released and it was lost until the next day. Our connecting flight was booked incorrectly do we had to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our 13 hour flight took 29 hours. The food was awful."

Nadelen: "We booked our plane reservations through Kayak . My sister booked my reservation along with hers at the same time. Kayak put us on different planes at different times on our return flight back to the USA. I had assumed we were flying together ( sisters with the same last names), so I showed up at the airport to find out that I had missed my first flight. I already had a boarding pass for the next flight, but Kayak had canceled me and booked someone else in my seat. No more seats in economy and I had to pay $1750. Euros for another ticket. Why would 2 passengers flying together and booking together be put on different planes and different times. We will NEVER use Kayak again!7"

The entire flight was locked in a room and not allowed to leave with very little explanation as to why. After 5 hours they let us board another plane. There was water and candy supplied as food. It was a joke for anyone with kids or the elderly. Nevermind anyone with health concerns. BAD way to manage a crisis in my opinion. We were treated like cattle. And these were NOT cheap tickets."

Nadelen: "No reading lights. No attendant call button I could find. Not much air volume. That pesky lack of leg room. Short seat belts."

Vlucht was 1 uur vertraagd. Verder ging alles prima.

Personnel, goede stoel en verbinding op tijd. Gate op Dubai was krap, maar ging ok

Het zitcomfort was ronduit slecht. Personeel was als doorgaans top.

Covid protocol was badly monitored. Coughing people without a mask. Thank you KLM for your ignorance.

Gedoe met teveel passagiers die weigeren een mondkapje op te doen en een kat/muis spel spelen met de bemanning. KLM kwaliteit als vanouds, maar verziekt door dit soort medepassagiers.

Voordelen: "Most of the crew tired especially hard to keep everyone comfortable and safe. The food was absolutely amazing."
Nadelen: "Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."
Nadelen: "Being in the middle of the 4 seats with guys on both sides. They tend to restrict the space by using the arm rests."
Nadelen: "10 minutes late to the airport....... No help, no refund, no nothing. Never using you again"

Nadelen: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Nadelen: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."
Voordelen: "Easy, fast, comfortable, no hassles"
Nadelen: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."

Nadelen: "We couldn’t get on the flight. We arrived late because of an earlier flight but were at the ticket area before this flight even started boarding. Our boarding passes would not print at our departure location and I wasn’t able to check in online for it because it kept linking to the American Airlines website for checkin. We tried to print our boarding passes at the kiosks but it said we needed to seek assistance. We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."

Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Nadelen: "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Nadelen: "They have a fare that does not charge for Regular Bags....we booked it unknown toy us assuming we each could take a regular bag for no charge....well we have ended up paying an extra 400+ pounds for our bags to go each way to Paris and it has ruined our first time to Paris. The fare online was foreign to us and deceitful being from the US in every way. No one could even work with us or was willing to make a decision but everyone seemed to agree while still charging. No more British Airways Deceipt!"

Nadelen: "2 of 3 luggage kissed transfer at Heathrow to the Paris flight despite 2:30 hrs layover and arrived on next flight 4 hrs later"
Nadelen: "We had to go back to philadelphia after flying for 2.5hoyrs, landing at Bangor, waiting for the maintenance team to figure out the problem. We then had to wait for another flight for 4h before being able to go to paris.."
Voordelen: "Lots of shopping but that may not be good since pickpockets are everywhere"
Nadelen: "Police (more) presence required to prevent thefts"

Nadelen: "My previous flight was delayed at the start and further in flight so I missed my connection. LHR makes too much use of buses."
Voordelen: "The plane was not full and therefor gave us an opportunity to spread out."
Nadelen: "No complaints as this flight was pretty empty we had all the room we needed"
Voordelen: "The flight was very good. Friendly crew, and barely half full so room to spread out. No good or entertainment (just a pond-hopper to Paris)."
Nadelen: "We sat waiting for takeoff for 45+ minutes. I slept for most of that, but woke up to us taxiing for takeoff (instead of landing as I had expected)."
Voordelen: "I had extra leg room."
Nadelen: "The TV screen was in a stick and it had been used so much that if I didn't pull it forward all the way it would not stay up. Then when you try to put it down it hits the wall in front of you and doesn't tuck in."
Voordelen: "The crew was excellent and very professional, the flight was on time and the meal service was decent"
Nadelen: "The equipment was American Airlines and was seriously outdated, the ife was not on every seat and the seats themselves were horrible"
Nadelen: "It has been a week and British airways still hasn't delivered my suitcase."
Voordelen: "Good food Welcoming and friendly flight attendants Amazing selection of movies, TV shows, games Excellent customer service Comfy seats with ample legroom"
Nadelen: "My seat did not recline at all. When notifying the flight attendants during the meal/beverage service, they said they would note down my seat. However, nobody ever gave me any assurances that they would really inform maintenance to resolve the problem. Half way through the flight, my screen froze. Nothing would start it up again. After waking up hours later, I informed the flight attendant and she was able to reset/restart my screen individually. Everything worked perfectly afterwards"
Nadelen: "No drink for economy, short fly"
Voordelen: "Comfortable seating"
Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"
Nadelen: "The flight took off and 30 minutes into the flight to Paris, we were returned to Chicago for an unexplained mechanical problem. After 5 hrs delay, the flight was cancelled. I had to run to another desk for help and was rebooked on an Air France flight but did not receive miles for either BA or AF. Completely unprofessional and chaotic. Miserable to say the least because I missed the wedding that I was flying to, the only reason I flew there!"

Nadelen: "There was no entertainment and that is a must on any transatlantic flight"
Nadelen: "British Airways didn't have my leg of this flight (London to Paris) as part of original checkin from Austin to London. As a result I stood in Customer relations line for 90 minutes, missed my flight, and was separated from other member in my travel party who didn't experience same problem and we were both on same booking confirmation"
Nadelen: "Lost my luggage and failed to deliver my luggage on time. I had to go out of my way to buy everything again."
Voordelen: "My flight boarded easily,left on time."
Nadelen: "The food. Portions were made for a child. Nasty tasting. The ideal was throw gravy on it and it will taste alright. There's no effort at all. Asked stewardness. Twice for water and never got it."
Voordelen: "Airplane had a flat tire... thank goodness they changed it before the flight."
Nadelen: "Flat tire took 2 hours to change, I'm shocked that they are still using this type of Equipment for a trans Atlantic flight."
Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Flight delayed multiple hours. Sat on Tarmac for 2 hours. Baggage lost for two days. Worst experience flying ever."
Voordelen: "Entertainment system functionality and selection was excellent."
Nadelen: "Tv screen does not tilt so when person in front puts their seat back it makes it hard to see. Probably only a problem in economy."

Nadelen: "booked British Airways, got American Airlines. I didnt want American airlines. I would have booked American Airlines if I wanted American airways. there was no indication that the flight would be operated by any other than British air until I got to the check counter at British airways, and they sent me to the excruciatingly long check in line for American."
Nadelen: "The seats have zero leg room, it was quite uncomfortable."
Voordelen: "Crew and food were great as always between LHR and CDG."
Nadelen: "No leg room in business class. Normal LHR air traffic control delays."
Voordelen: "The food and service was good. The seats in coach were uncomfortable and the entertainment was subar as there were only 8 or so movies no being recent release"
Nadelen: "The lack of decent movies"
Voordelen: "Good choice of entertainment."
Nadelen: "Thd boarding was delayed. The food was terrible. Thd breakfast was barely edible. For such a long flight, our flight attendant didn't even check on us after serving the meal and appeared bothered to even be there. In all fairness this was an AA flight not British Airways."
