Het zitcomfort was ronduit slecht. Personeel was als doorgaans top.

Gedoe met teveel passagiers die weigeren een mondkapje op te doen en een kat/muis spel spelen met de bemanning. KLM kwaliteit als vanouds, maar verziekt door dit soort medepassagiers.

BA is always our preferred airline always a good service, the only down side is no lounge at City Airport.

Timing and boarding process

Priority boarding for club world passengers was not available because staff were checking in people in turn from the queue so if you were a ClubWorld passenger and at the back of the queue like me you just had to wait your turn Once I was at the desk I was told priority boarding was possible but there were no signs or specific area where you could go to take advantage of that the only option would have been to push the way to the front of the queue in front of all of the economy passengers it would've been very difficult to say can you get out of the way please I'm a ClubWorld passenger I'm trying to get to the priority boarding desk !!

Nadelen: "1. Plane engine set fire while taking off... leaking fuel. 2. My bag fee was waived, but the next day after being grounded and put in a cheap hotel for the night, I was RECHARGED $100. 3. They knew my flight left at 9pm, still gave me ONLY 1 hotel voucher so I was kicked out of the hotel at 12pm with NOWHERE to go for NINE HOURS with 125lbs of luggage. 4. They provided a good voucher, but the cheap hotel they put me in didn't have a kitchen, USELESS. 5. The flight was LATE getting to London the next day and I missed my BRITISH Airway connecting flight to Thailand. Had to wait another 7 HOURS to get a flight out. 6. Terrible service, over priced and rude agents. The agent told me " I don't know who waived your fee yesterday, but I'm not." Cold, considering the plane I was on the day before was shooting fire about to explode. 7. I was rebooked no choice of seating or consideration."

Then boarding without any order except for some privileged passengers (first class, club members). Finally,not serving any soft drink or little snacks unless you pay for some overpriced stuff. This is a sure way to drive passengers away from BA towards no-frills discount airlines."

Nadelen: "A two hour flight and they ran out of time to serve drinks. Maybe if BA reversed their ridiculous decision to charge for drinks, it wouldn't take them so long."
Voordelen: "The women at BA in Chicago O'Hare airport were awesome Christine, Carole, Diane & ankther one but I forgot the last lady's name. Very polite attentive and professional. We had a difficult situation & they helped us get through our problem with the less stress as possible!"
Nadelen: "Airplane food was a bit below average. Also there was not a good selection in music. I did not recognize 95% of the option of music to listen to."
Nadelen: "Air Lingus is awful! It had 1:20 hours delay that resulted in missing the second flight. The check in people don't know their job. The lady named Michelle in Dublin almost killed me with her lack of knowledge and slowness. The airplane was extremely dirty including diner tables, seats, and bathrooms. It is the worst airline that I ever flied with. In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew were exceptional. One flight attendant in parifular was extremely helpful to us in helping place our carry on luggage in the overhead compartment. I did not get his name but he told me he was from Spain."
Nadelen: "- Landing cards were only distributed 20 minutes before arrival. The seat belt sign was already on. So, I could not use the food tray to fill out the cards. I tried to use the magazine to put under the landing card, but there was some turbulence and I could not fill out the cards n the plane. Cards should be passed to passengers an hour after Akef off. - no gifts given to kids like small games or coloring crayons to keep them busy. - food took hours to serve and was not comparable to BA's image. - the water pressure in the toilet's wash basin was too strong and was splashing all over my cloths."
Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Nadelen: "My luggage then didn't make it to Ibiza in time because it got stuck in London due to my short layover. If BA can't figure out how to get the luggage transferred within that short of a period, they should not offer flights that close to each other. Secondly, I left a really nice down pillow and bag on my flight from London to Ibiza and I checked the lost in found at the Ibiza airport"
Nadelen: "I asked for coffee. Paid 4 pounds for it, it was AWFUL. not brewed, no taste, bitter, no cream available to add to it. If you charge such prizes, you better offer decent coffee. I can get late or capuchino at Starbucks for less and far better quality."

Nadelen: "Seats on 747 recline back way too far. Could not enjoy my flight back from London with the guy in front of me reclined back so far. Was forced to recline my seat all the way back as well if I wanted to watch anything. I guess it's OK if you are on an overnight flight and just want to sleep. Everything else was great though."
Voordelen: "The flight left on time even though full flight and we had to take a bus to the airplane. Bologna has a separate baggage and ticket check line at the back of the executive lounge. Quick and effective."

Nadelen: "I'm not an expert in airport logistics, but I don't understand why tests are done after the customers have already boarded. Very poor experience when the test failed and we deboarded."

Toen we aan board stapten vroeg ik aan de steward of de kist vol was of dat er nog een mogelijkheid was om iets te veranderen waardoor we toch met z'n drieën naast elkaar konden zitten. We zitten helaas vol, antwoordde hij. Toch kwam hij een kwartiertje later met het bericht dat er voorin toch drie vrije plaatsen naast elkaar waren, top!"

Seating is so compact it’s physically impossible for me to fit, I’m 6’3” then it took an hour forty five minutes to get our checked luggage in Lisbon. Everyone was furious. No explanation from the airport or airline. We missed our hotel shuttle, missed our hotel checkin. Just terrible."

Nadelen: "They didn’t even give water without charging for it. Water is a basic need The hidden baggage fees. I was informed at checkin that I wasn’t allowed a checked bag from Amsterdam via Madrid to Miami. It is the first time I have ever flown internationally where you don’t get 1 bag at least to check in. The. The fee was €150 one way to check a bag. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"

Nadelen: "My wife’s bag was damaged during handling, but I am not sure that is the fault of Air Europa, perhaps the airport personnel in Miami or Madrid."

Nadelen: "Air Europa is is budget airline, and things you expect to not always work. I could not check online, because the web site did not work. When checking in at the airport, I paid extra for exit and bulkhead row seats for my family, after which the agent told me that the seas were in different parts of the airplane. The agent was not willing to refund the money I paid and give us ordinary seats. Apparently, with Air Europa, money goes only one way. Still, cheap, so may be attractive."

Nadelen: "I was ticketed on AirFrance/Delta, but I guess they are a part of Skyteam and the plane was Air Europa Old decrepit aircraft, that had years of accumulated dirt between seats and such No personal TV screens Food was as bad as it gets for the snack, though the main meal was as they all are except more frugal. Headphones were available for 3 euros- never had that occur on an international flight. I will always ask if my ticket includes Air Europa as an operator and avoid them if that is the case"

Nadelen: "The seats were so small. I am 5'2" and had no leg room. I don't know how anyone who is taller fits. The food was really poor and my entertainment system did not work. Also, the gate was not posted on the board until right before the flight boarded and the boarding process was chaotic at best."

Nadelen: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."
Nadelen: "Flight delayed missed my connector no one was helpful. A total of 24 hours traveling"

Nadelen: "I had to add luggage into the booking. In short, that is impossible to do on the website, and very little information about luggage in the booking procedure. So, the passenger didn't take any changes and asked me to book flight with another airline. Which I did, and found out that canceling is not a thing that you do either...."

Nadelen: "Beeing 1.5 hours late for a 25min flight No info Filthy airplane"
Voordelen: "terminal E7 was filled about 15 AE personnel standing around doing not much of anything. Not even simple announcement welcoming or informing the customers of why its flight was delayed. They were busy greeting their own VIP's heading in and out of the business class. When asked what's going on, the AE personnel simply stated 'just wait'"
Nadelen: "At the security, i was turned away because TSA will not take Air Europa's electronic boarding pass. When I went back to the check in counter, I asked why, no answer from three people at the check in standing around. Again, indifferent attitude. Shouldn't AE inform customers of this time wasting problem? No self check in kiosks."
Nadelen: "We did not receive any beverage drinks during flight. Only the first 10 or 15 rows received this service. :("
Voordelen: "Nice, new, spacious aircraft!"
Nadelen: "Grouchy stewardess. Most stewardesses did not speak English. Vacant exit row not available to sit in. Boarding staff did not notify by loud speaker of boarding beginning in Miami."

Nadelen: "I bought 2 tickets at the same time for me and my wife and the sat us separately 10 rows apart from each other. Its stupid they dont let you choose your own seats. Also paying for the bag was another long process and had to go to 3 sepparate counters because Air Europa required a different procedure. Pilots necer announced upcomig turbulence and the landing was horrible. Old and uncomfortable seatbelts. Ive been on 3 flights this week and this was by far the worst. Wont be flying Air Europa in the future."

Voordelen: "The movies were good."
Nadelen: "The breakfast was horrible. Just bread and yogurt while firat class got sausages. The flight to madrid was 3 hours late that those with kayovers were scared of missing flights. Inefficient and unprofessional."
Voordelen: "11 hours flight with no movies. Flight attendants very rude. Bad food. Seats doesn't stay where you want them to stay. They move by itself. Very disorganized embarkation, landing and takeout procedures. I had 3 delayed flights. Very bad experience. I don't recommend at all. Dirty cabin. I found someone else's hair when I opened the pillow."
Nadelen: "Space between seats very uncomfortable. Planes very old."
Voordelen: "Price was Ok, but not great for a 30 minute flight"
Nadelen: "Both flights were at lest an hour or more late. Some disorder in boarding. Screaming kids... and parents who did not discipline them."

Nadelen: "The checking in/boarding process was absolutely horrible. Attempted to check in through their app to avoid the extremely long line and it wouldn't accept our passport numbers. After finally receiving our boarding passes, the kiosk for our flight read "Gate Closed" and it seemed to be miles away. We got to the airport well in advanced, but due to the long line and fear of missing the flight, we didn't have time to shop at duty free or get food within the airport."

Nadelen: "De automatische stoeltoewijzing is klantje pesten. Heb je samen geboekt wordt je uit elkaar gehaald. Niet omdat er geen plek is, maar gewoon omdat het kan. Pesterij. Boarden: je word zo snel mogelijk de gate in geveegd en dan mag je daar wachten tot het blijkbaar echt nodig was dat je er was."

Nadelen: "Paid 47 each to check a carry on bag that we thought we could take on the plane. Almost missed the plane because security line took over an hour to get through. The man at the counter that checked our bag was rude and talking to someone else that he worked with almost the entire time he was waiting on us. Won’t be flying with this airline again."

Nadelen: "To start we were told by the check in agent that our carry on luggage would be fine, but then at the gate we were told that our luggage was to big for the overhead bins. We were charged an extra 94 euros so like $120 USD. We get on the plane and people were putting away carry on luggage that were a lot bigger than what we had. I am sure it was because we were Americans.. This was the first and last time I fly with this airline..."

Nadelen: "Our flight was delayed for an hour and a half and we had to sit on the plane for the entire time. The staff was rude and short. I don’t think Americans are very populated. Food selection was very limited, but at least we got a KitKat bar. They were out of all the sandwich food/main dishes."

Nadelen: "My flight was cancelled three times, I spent an entire day of my vacation wasted in an airport. I ended up having to take a bus to my final destination and the worst part of it is that Air Berlin refuses to reimburse me over $400 for the flight that never occurred."

Nadelen: "Schiphol is eigenlijk te groot. Alles kost veel tijd. Vlucht was half uur te laat"

Nadelen: "I received a flight delay notification saying that my flight is delayed by 37 minutes. But I still did arrive airport 2 hours before my flight, checked bag On time and went through security clearance 1.5 hrs before. The gate number was not assigned and later I found out that my flight took off on time. So I had to come out by front desk and rebook the flight to different airport which cost my extra taxi fare half day and too much Hassel. Never ever flying again in easy jet."

Nadelen: "Easyjet behandeld je als vee. Je hebt als passagiers niets te vertellen en als je protesteert beroept het personeel zich op policy. Handbagage is zo'n policy. Elke keer moet je je handbagage achterlaten bij de trap en als je dan in het vliegtuig komt zie je overal lege vakken."
Nadelen: "Luggage was damaged hard. Can't reach support online or offline (Tel). I tried to reach today via Facebook page message"

Nadelen: "After the landing we had to wait a long time in the plain. the announcement was that due to how the suitcases where loaded into the plain if all people will get off the plain might tip."
Voordelen: "The price. The website"
Nadelen: "The queues for baggage drop off are the worst I've ever been in. Either you're understaffed or there was some kind of mess. My back and my legs are aching from the long stand."
Voordelen: "absolutely nothing..."
Nadelen: "The stewardesses lost control of a rowdy, ugly British drinking crowded plane - with liquor bottles being passed through the plane.....and at the end of the flight, the pilot had to abort a landing and scream at the clients to get in their seats and belt up or he wouldn´t land. I have never been as scared or insulted as I was on this flight...and will NEVER fly on easy jet or from Stansted again....."
