Nadelen: "The entertainment system for the 777 did not have a touchscreen which I have been accustomed to on other SIA flights, but the main issue was the brightest setting for the screen was very dim. I think the screen is just old and not as bright as before."
Voordelen: "I do like Singapore airlines and all the rest of the airline stuff apart from the entertainment system was great!!! (Unfortunately since there was no USB or seat power my iPad fairly quickly ran out of juice...)"
Nadelen: "The entertainment system was soooo old. In our seats it was non-functional. The plane wasn't too full and so I scooted over to the isle seat next to mine but again the resolution on the screen was so bad I couldn't read the intro comments to the movie, etc. They desperately need to update the entertainment system on that plane."

We asked for a ramen noodle cup instead that the flight crew denied they had, only after seeing them offer it to another family just seconds before. I was very disappointed!! I believe the flight attendant knew of my concerns because she started asking me if the service was ok. If your doing a good job, then you won’t have to ask."

Nadelen: "Our flight to Bali was cancelled due to the volcano eruption. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

Voordelen: "New aircraft Airbus 350-900 - has lot of leg space even in economy class. Food was just OK, nothing special and far from what SQ used to serve to the passengers. I was very disappointed finding out that travel pack consists only toothbrush and tootpaste with socks included. No more slippers, eyes cover and no more other necessities for intercontinental flights ! What a shame for SQ to save the money on such important things for passengers. Staff was over indulging, someone would say - fake kindness shown ..."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the crew... They have to learn from Air Serbia staff and Turkish Airlines what is genuine kindness and politeness. And the most expensive aircompany should not be stingy and provide to passengers on intercontinental flights just toothbrush and socks in traveler pack !!! What a shame for SQ !"

Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

Nadelen: "I planned a wonderful vacation for my birthday only to face a horrible experience. Not only was the flight uncomfortable, but my television did not work. There was a huge box underneath the seat in front of me which prevented me from stretching my legs outward. The television was on but the screen itself wasn't operating. I reached for the remote located in the armrest only to find the entire piece missing. Only the base was there. I asked the flight attendents three times if I can move to an empty seat and they said "give me a moment". The moment never came. I really expected more from this airline."
Voordelen: "Have flown emirates and etihad business - now sampled the best by far. Qatar's a380 was incredible but the a330 on wind leg whilst not as nice was mademupmfor by the best crew I have experienced ever - WOULD NOT HESITATE TO FLY AGAIN"

Nadelen: "The one thing I don't like about Garuda is so many announcements. They want to announce every things that happens. There is a reason why the seatbelt signs are there. You don't have to say what we will have in the menu as we have it. The entertainment system is has average collection and they are not organized. That includes the movies. The music section is terrible, I was not able to recognize any of the artist. It is sad that they don't take their entertainment system seriously. With their service and new fleet, you will expect to have a great entertainment system but sadly it is not."

Voordelen: "The quality of the food was truly outstanding. A personal chef on board - very happy to vary the food to get it just right, Also to suggest an alternative. I asked for something with a little spice. The flight attendent suggest one dish but then discussing it with the chef he suggested alterning another. Presentation expectional."
Nadelen: "The cabin is good but the style is a little old fashioned compared to other airlines - although the cabin wasn’t tattty. In the same way that Emirates is really old fashioned to westerners eyes."

Nadelen: "...had same movies going to Indonesia ...and on the return journey to London being a 14hr 20 min flight to Jakarta I had watched many of the film's - I was a little disappointed to see the film list hadn't changed when I was about to sit through a 13 hr return trip !!"

The food was food, for airline standards and had 2 meals and 2 light snacks despite only being a 5.5h flight!"

Nadelen: "I checked in 4 hours prior to departure. While in the international zone in Casablanca Airport my cellphone switched time-zone. As a result I arrived "punctual" at the gate exactly 1 h too late, the flight left without me. Neither Turkish Airlines nor Royal Air Maroc (operating this flight) attempted to contact me via my cell phone. Disappointing."

Nadelen: "The flight left an hour late. But the crew never explained why the delay."
Voordelen: "The food and the entertainment was excellent!"
Nadelen: "There was no boarding announcement. I was given a boarding zone for no reason; boarding was a free for all. Our flight was delayed by almost an hour. We sat on the plane, by the gate, while the crew called the Istanbul Flight Control to figure out when our plane could arrive. This flight had been scheduled for weeks; I would think they could plan the arrival time to be the ACTUAL arrival time."
Voordelen: "Food was fine, and crew admirable. Good entertainment even without internet connection on flight."
Nadelen: "I’d change out the Mac and cheese at the prelanding meal. Service took awhile and I ended up in the zone in the back where choices were gone. Biggest factor was inability of phone center or inter et to check me in."
Nadelen: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."
Voordelen: "Great service, incredible food. To give it a quick one: we ate the fish. ON AN AIRPLANE. I never eat the fish on a plane, but the chefs were great. Everything we ate was exceptional. Oh, beyond the food? The seats are great and the lie-flat worked perfectly. The entertainment system was great as well, and the live TV allowed me to catch the NBA playoffs while in the air. All-in-all, I couldn't recommend this flight more."

Nadelen: "They are not considerate at all . It was a pain till they find Me another flight. The flight won’t take off till the next day And the lay over in Los Angeles is 7hrs . It’s a 2 days flight. They didn’t even try to take the time to find me a sooner flight because there were other upset customers waiting. So disappointed on how poor the help desk at Turkish airline."

Nadelen: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

Voordelen: "The whole experience was great. After an excellent meal which included drinks before and an excellent wine selection the flt attendants came through and made up a bed for you. This included a cover for the seat, a blanket and a big pillow. As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."

Nadelen: "Only an hour between connection so the connection was missed.Also the airline only gave a food vouchers for one restaurant. That restaurant has poor choices of items to select from ,food quality was substandard ,the choices of the items was to limited, and the people in the restaurant was rude."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."
Nadelen: "Lang wachten bij de incheck"
Voordelen: "We vertrokken vanuit Tapei 10 minuten voor plan. We kwamen bijna 3 keartier voor schema aan."
Nadelen: "Omdat Economy Comfort vol zat (een maand van te voren), een exit roe geboekt. Wel veel beenruimte, maar in de breedte echt te krap voor een vlucht van 12 uur."
Voordelen: "De reis verliep voorspoedig. Diner en ontbijt waren redelijk."
Nadelen: "Film aanbod was aan de magere kant."
Nadelen: "Op papier was het een KLM vlucht. Maar tijdens inchecken werd het een Jet Airways vlucht. Alle privileges als platinum frequent flyer was direct weg. Geen voorrang bij inchecken, geen voorrang bij handbaggage check,."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
Nadelen: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"
