Oh my god, I felt like a sardine. They developed their passenger seating scheme by carefully studying Iraqi prison torture manuals, I think. I didn't die but that outcome was surprising to me.

We of course liked the cost and convenience of the Pittsburgh location.

When we missed our flight out of Paris due to a long wait at passport control, WOW customer service would not work with us. We did not ask for refunds or even hotel reimbursement we simply asked to be booked on the next days flight to Pittsburgh and WOW refused making us purchase new tickets for over $1000.

the flight was fine.

The 70 euro luggage fee was a bit excessive. The delay and subsequent missing of my connecting flight that resulted in a 11 hour layover and a 10 euro voucher was pretty lame. TAP Portugal customer service leaves a bit to be desired

The food was good. I have Celiac Disease and they accommodated my gluten free necessities with GF bread!! Wow.

The entertainment for an international flight (9 hours) was horrendous. The tiny TVs were actually fuzzy and it is set up so that you cannot actually choose your movie. It is like watching TV where you may tune in to a movie 20 minutes into it playing instead of starting whatever movie you want from the beginning. To make matters worse, there was no plug-in in case you wanted to watch entertainment of your own on phone/iPad.

First time traveling with WOW and it was okay. Price was decent, a little better than Spirit, but the same with paying additional for everything so it's not really saving. Overall, great flight the pilots did a great job getting me to my destination (there and back) safely and with time to spare.

For a 9 hour flight they should accommodate their passengers with free beverages at least. The seats were very uncomfortable. Flight attendance were polite but very hard to get a hold of, they talk too much among each other, like HELLO you're working get it together! My flight was delay returning back to my original destination and no communication was received until a staff member showed up almost 2 hours late.

Cheap flight sounds great...except it’s not actually cheap. Once you add on charges for baggage, seats, water on board, etc., it’s about the price of a standard ticket on a quality airline. (Plus they didn’t actually reserve the seats I paid $20 for, even though I have the receipt). Amenities on board are atrocious. No Wifi, no in flight entertainment (except an iPad you can pay $25 for that features 10 movies from 1992), no USB ports...you even have to pay for water!!! My flight was delayed twice in one week causing me to miss my connecting flights both to my destination and back home by 5 minutes. Because they are not a member of an airline alliance, my only options were to wait until the next day and stay in a shared hotel room or rebook on another airline for $600 which they couldn’t guarantee I would be reimbursed for. The general apathy shown by the staff and lack of communication is abhorrent. The least they could do is apologize and help direct me to somewhere I could find more information. They were positively clueless! Spend a little extra and book on a respectable airline that values their customers...and maybe you won’t be out $1200 (in addition to the cost of the “cheap” tickets) like I am!!

(Plus they didn’t actually reserve the seats I paid $20 for, even though I have the receipt). Amenities on board are atrocious. No Wifi, no in flight entertainment (except an iPad you can pay $25 for that features 10 movies from 1992), no USB ports...you even have to pay for water!!! My flight was delayed twice in one week causing me to miss my connecting flights both to my destination and back home by 5 minutes. Because they are not a member of an airline alliance, my only options were to wait until the next day and stay in a shared hotel room or rebook on another airline for $600 which they couldn’t guarantee I would be reimbursed for. The general apathy shown by the staff and lack of communication is abhorrent. The least they could do is apologize and help direct me to somewhere I could find more information. They were positively clueless! Spend a little extra and book on a respectable airline that values their customers...and maybe you won’t be out $1200 (in addition to the cost of the “cheap” tickets) like I am!!

Crew members were courteous

Good evening, I’m not sure under which category our complaints should fall on your website so I will include them here. To summarize our complaint, we booked our tickets on Icelandair through Kayak (and Webjet) and upon arriving at the check-in counter on December 2, we were informed that the baggage fee for our flight would be $95 each! Understandably, we were shocked and very displeased. Nowhere in our confirmation emails or flight details was there anything about having to pay such a high rate for our luggage. The first employee we spoke to said that your airline has recently started charging such fees to compete with WOW Air and as I said to him, I would like to point out again that this is the very reason why I never choose to fly with WOW Air: they clearly state that there is a high baggage fee from the beginning of the registration process and I know of too many other airlines who don’t have such inflated fees. This ticketing agent and the manager said that the level of our ticket (apparently called Economy Light) indicated that we would be charged this baggage rate. It is now my understanding that on the Icelandair’s website, these levels are described but no such options were listed or explained on the Kayak website or any of our confirmation materials/emails. It is the responsibility of your site to post these important details in a conspicuous place so that travelers can make informed decisions. We could’ve flown with Air Portugal for a mere $50 more and saved not only over $200 each but also the inconvenience and frustration. Upon the check-in manager’s suggestion, I looked up our flight by the booking reservation number (LCWNEG) and again, the only “flight type” shown was called Economy, nothing more. The same is true for when we checked in online and reserved our seats - there was never an indication of the fees that were awaiting us. All this to say, we were incredibly upset to be surprised with an additional cost of $200/person (round trip ticket) but then, to add insult to injury, not only did we nearly miss our flight due to the length of time spent at the check-in desk, once we got on the plane and we realized we would not be served anything other than water or soda - since all food/meals must also be paid for in most Economy levels. This was our first experience with your airline/website and I highly doubt we will ever choose you in the future. I know now for a fact that other passengers who have booked through 3rd party sites have found themselves in similar bad situations. If you choose to work with airlines and offer lower rates, it is only honest and fair to make your policies clearly known to your potential customers. We felt mislead and deceived as these rates seemed hidden until it as too late. I eagerly await your response and look forward to hearing what steps will be taken to rectify the problem and make amends for this unacceptable situation. Sincerely, Mandi Vermilyea and Judith Arp

Boarding was refused at gate due to late arrival of previous flight which was also a TAP flight. No assistance to delay following flight or accelerate our deplaning even though the next identical flight was three days later.

Literally nothing

The seat was uncomfortable, the service was slow, both my flights (Newark to Reykjavik and Reykjavik to Heathrow) were delayed and the flight staff was incredibly poor about providing us updates not to mention any accuracy with the timing. Overall, my experience with Icelandic Air was so bad I will never fly with them again.

I didn't like anything...not enough connecting time , the flights are consistently late making for 20 minute connections with passport control...with my 91 yr old mother running the airport...i will NEVER take this carrier again!!!

Cheap flight sounds great...except it’s not actually cheap. Once you add on charges for baggage, seats, water on board, etc., it’s about the price of a standard ticket on a quality airline. (Plus they didn’t actually reserve the seats I paid $20 for, even though I have the receipt). Amenities on board are atrocious. No Wifi, no in flight entertainment (except an iPad you can pay $25 for that features 10 movies from 1992), no USB ports...you even have to pay for water!!! My flight was delayed twice in one week causing me to miss my connecting flights both to my destination and back home by 5 minutes. Because they are not a member of an airline alliance, my only options were to wait until the next day and stay in a shared hotel room or rebook on another airline for $600 which they couldn’t guarantee I would be reimbursed for. The general apathy shown by the staff and lack of communication is abhorrent. The least they could do is apologize and help direct me to somewhere I could find more information. They were positively clueless! Spend a little extra and book on a respectable airline that values their customers...and maybe you won’t be out $1200 (in addition to the cost of the “cheap” tickets) like I am!!

I didn't like anything...not enough connecting time , the flights are consistently late making for 20 minute connections with passport control...with my 91 yr old mother running the airport...i will NEVER take this carrier again!!!

Oh my god, I felt like a sardine. They developed their passenger seating scheme by carefully studying Iraqi prison torture manuals, I think. I didn't die but that outcome was surprising to me.

Good evening, I’m not sure under which category our complaints should fall on your website so I will include them here. To summarize our complaint, we booked our tickets on Icelandair through Kayak (and Webjet) and upon arriving at the check-in counter on December 2, we were informed that the baggage fee for our flight would be $95 each! Understandably, we were shocked and very displeased. Nowhere in our confirmation emails or flight details was there anything about having to pay such a high rate for our luggage. The first employee we spoke to said that your airline has recently started charging such fees to compete with WOW Air and as I said to him, I would like to point out again that this is the very reason why I never choose to fly with WOW Air: they clearly state that there is a high baggage fee from the beginning of the registration process and I know of too many other airlines who don’t have such inflated fees. This ticketing agent and the manager said that the level of our ticket (apparently called Economy Light) indicated that we would be charged this baggage rate. It is now my understanding that on the Icelandair’s website, these levels are described but no such options were listed or explained on the Kayak website or any of our confirmation materials/emails. It is the responsibility of your site to post these important details in a conspicuous place so that travelers can make informed decisions. We could’ve flown with Air Portugal for a mere $50 more and saved not only over $200 each but also the inconvenience and frustration. Upon the check-in manager’s suggestion, I looked up our flight by the booking reservation number (LCWNEG) and again, the only “flight type” shown was called Economy, nothing more. The same is true for when we checked in online and reserved our seats - there was never an indication of the fees that were awaiting us. All this to say, we were incredibly upset to be surprised with an additional cost of $200/person (round trip ticket) but then, to add insult to injury, not only did we nearly miss our flight due to the length of time spent at the check-in desk, once we got on the plane and we realized we would not be served anything other than water or soda - since all food/meals must also be paid for in most Economy levels. This was our first experience with your airline/website and I highly doubt we will ever choose you in the future. I know now for a fact that other passengers who have booked through 3rd party sites have found themselves in similar bad situations. If you choose to work with airlines and offer lower rates, it is only honest and fair to make your policies clearly known to your potential customers. We felt mislead and deceived as these rates seemed hidden until it as too late. I eagerly await your response and look forward to hearing what steps will be taken to rectify the problem and make amends for this unacceptable situation. Sincerely, Mandi Vermilyea and Judith Arp

We of course liked the cost and convenience of the Pittsburgh location.

When we missed our flight out of Paris due to a long wait at passport control, WOW customer service would not work with us. We did not ask for refunds or even hotel reimbursement we simply asked to be booked on the next days flight to Pittsburgh and WOW refused making us purchase new tickets for over $1000.

First time traveling with WOW and it was okay. Price was decent, a little better than Spirit, but the same with paying additional for everything so it's not really saving. Overall, great flight the pilots did a great job getting me to my destination (there and back) safely and with time to spare.

For a 9 hour flight they should accommodate their passengers with free beverages at least. The seats were very uncomfortable. Flight attendance were polite but very hard to get a hold of, they talk too much among each other, like HELLO you're working get it together! My flight was delay returning back to my original destination and no communication was received until a staff member showed up almost 2 hours late.
