Nadelen: "Had the boarding queues setup and when they got to group 5 they flipped the sign and those of us in front had to go in the back. Once we were in the main queue they opened the 5-9 queue for some privileged traveler and then left it open allowing the back of the queue to become the front."

Voordelen: "No drinks or snacks for econome class. Its just a 1 hour flight, KLM Does serve on 1 hour flights."

Voordelen: "Customer service was helpful as they could possibly be.. once you are able to contact them."
Nadelen: "It was very difficult to contact customer service if the hours are not a time the office in NY, USA is open."
Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and well organized. The plane was clean and prepared with blankets and pillows. Updated movies and entertainment."
Nadelen: "We missed our connection and british had booked us automatically on the next available flight which was helpful. However--- we paid to pick our seats and we got stuck in both middle seats. I also got skipped on the first round of beverage service. The entire crew was congregated in the middle part and when they finally made their way back to the cabin for trash I asked the flight attendant if I could please get a beverage as I was skipped. He said yes let me gather this trash and ill be back. He never returned. Then everyone was served their meals and I then was also skipped. Flight crew congregated again in the middle and my sister and I had to wave our hands up in the air to grab anyone's attention so I could get my meal. At that point they were out of the vegetarian option and I got a small oh we didn't mean to skip you comment. Pretty disappointed with this flight."

Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."
Nadelen: "Delayed 4 hours and lied to the entire time that it would “only be 20 more minutes” while we were just sitting in the plane on a very old, uncomfortable plane"
Voordelen: "The food was good"
Nadelen: "Because of technical difficulties, we had to get off the plane after having boarded so it left with 1h30 delay. That can happen to everyone though but that's not it. On the plane, after having paid for specific seats, the entertainment system did not work as well as the individual lights despite the crew knowing about it. When we notified them, all they said was "Oh! Someone should've told you. Sorry." The one in charge of the crew offered us champagne but never came back with it. So with my girlfriend, we spent 8 hours from London to NYC in darkness with no entertainment despite having paid for it. Finally, I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for 3 weeks now and I still haven't gotten a hold of anyone."
Voordelen: "Overall flight experience was average. Crew was friendly."
Nadelen: "American Airlines always use those old Boeings for flights between Paris and the US. They look so old inside. No modern entertainment. They still have those small screens on the ceiling. No individual entertainment stations. And seats are not comfortable."
Nadelen: "I was treated with so much disrespect, I wonder why tho. One of the crew members (a plus sized lady) came off to me as racist, she treated everyone else with a smile and cautious attitude but was so fast to tell me off. Would it be a coincident that the rest people are white like herself? I'm never flying BA again."
Nadelen: "my trip to England was a nightmare starting with American Airlines not being able to find my flight or my name in the system. It was worse on the return from Gatwick. They also couldnt find me in the system and i blame it all on this Kayak travel site. I will never again use Kayak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my trip was a nightmare."
Voordelen: "Ground staff in London was amazing! The flight from Barcelona to London was delayed because of weather condition. Once we arrived in London the ground staff made sure all of us (almost 20 people, lots of kids) could get the flight connection to JKF. The shuttle bus was already waiting for us, the ground staff indicated to us the faster way to get to our gate after passing through security checking. Everybody could get the JFK flight!"
Nadelen: "I'm gluten intolerant and there was no gluten free snack!!! Lunch was served as soon as the plane took off, but for the next 5h of flight nothing else was served. I asked if they had some gluten free snack, they told me there were going to check, but they never got back to me with an answer. I was starving arriving in NY. Aircraft was too old and it didn't have USB charger. And the individuals screens were also too old and had really bad quality for watching movies! It seemed that I was in a flight from 20 years ago!"
Voordelen: "Excellent service on both British Airways flights. Wonderful people! Comfortable seats, timely boarding process, and good communication from our captain"
Nadelen: "We lost our in-flight entertainment just a couple hours into the flight... the staff did all they could to try to fix it to no avail, and collected blue cards from all passengers affected. They were very nice. There was nothing they could do."
Voordelen: "Good preboarding with wheelchair in JFK a little more hectic in Heathrow but very useful because it is a very long walk."
Nadelen: "System for communication at Heathrow about what to do when arriving and looking for a wheelchair."
Voordelen: "The flight attendants and crew were great"
Voordelen: "I can't believe how close the seats are. The lady behind me got mad at me for wiggling in my seat. My butt was sore as the seat is so small and the guy next to me had his arm on the console all the time so I had to lean left the whole trip. I couldn't charge my phone for 8 hours of the flight so when I got to JFK my phone was dead. It doesn't heart to put power plugs in every row. This is the 21st century and this is British airways representing great Britain. I guess gb isn't great no more. One more thing I don't eat pork and when the flight attendant offered me dinner she said I only have sausage. Be considerate on passengers that don't eat pork"
Voordelen: "Seats were comfy, good choice of films. Food was good."
Nadelen: "There are other airlines with a brand I associate with more. Any airline can get me to London for more or less the same price; I may as well do it with a company that aligns with my view on life."
Voordelen: "The entertainment selections were awesome."
Nadelen: "The passenger in front of me reclined so far, he was basically on my lap. It made it difficult to see the screen and eat dinner, which was subpar. The person behind me kept poking me in the back. I couldn't figure out how or why. I could've used more arm rest as both people on either side of me took the arm rest. So basically I was surrounded on all sides by inconsiderate people, who were probably as cramped as I was."
Voordelen: "Very little"
Nadelen: "Guy next to me took up half my seat and the staff did nothing Food was awful"
Voordelen: "The crew was nice in the wake of being delayed for hours."
Nadelen: "Check in took forever. I wasn't able to check in online and was told "this is the price you pay" when I received word that my wife and I wouldn't be sitting together. Then we went to board far later than we were supposed to. After boarding the plane we sat for easily a half hour not moving with no information. Then find out there is scheduled maintenance which would be another hour. AC was shut off and got hot. Started to deplane but we were in back and didn't make it because they reveresed their decision. Got back on and said we would be leaving shortly. In all we say on the plane over 3 hours prior to take off. Never flying with your company again. Easily the worst experience flying ever."

Nadelen: "The entertainment was poor The TV stopped working and didn't work for the whole trip I was moved to another seat The refreshment could be more I don't enjoy pre poured 1/2 cup of juice and water."
Voordelen: "The complimentary meal was very good and a decent amount of food that satisfied my hunger. Free wine."
Nadelen: "Old old entertainment systems. My TV wasn't working for the first hour of the flight. Crew had to keep restarting the entire plane's entertainment system in order to finally get mine to switch on. Plane was also very old"

Nadelen: "The anarchy boarding process. The lack of plugs on the flight. The 2-year-old lap child in the seat with his Mom next to me that kicked, threw, fussed, hit, cried and more through most of the 8-hour flight because somehow a child that big doesn't need his own seat. The lousy, lousy food. The lack of food. The seats that were so tight I couldn't get up to use the lavatory when the inconsiderate woman in front of me put her seat back (and I'm totally average size). The awful entertainment selection. The worn, dirty plane."
Nadelen: "I had called vayama with whom you booked the flight, 5/28, and asked for seats together with my daughter who was, I THOUGHT, also flying on the same plane as I..I had asked the rep for a specific flight,nAA 105 and was told that it was code shared with mine, IB4611 but, when I looked at the seats 24 hours before the flight, on 6/15, I saw that I had been booked on a totally different plane and different departure terminals . The only thing similar was the departure and arrival times into JFK. I made a long distance call from the UK and got a really obnoxious rep who was very condescending, dismissive and annoyed that I couldn't understand her pronounced accent . When I said, " pardon, could you please repeat that", she was very snippy and snapped at me! No wonder they have such crappy ratings/ reviews. She was absolutely no help whatsoever after I explained that my daughter was visually impaired and HAD to be on the same flight as I, all she told me was that there was no record of the convo I had claimed to have with their rep on 5/28 and then she hung up on me. I will never use kayak again nor its outsourced affiliates . I am pissed, Weibo Benwitz"
Voordelen: "Both of my flights had no person in the middle seat, so I was able to spread out more in the space which made it much easier to get some sleep, especially on my red eye flight!"
Nadelen: "No complaints; great service! I'd definitely fly British airways again."
Nadelen: "My luggage didn't make it to NY. Very upset about this because I have no idea when it will be delivered!"
Nadelen: "The seats are so close together the seats are actually painful. I'm 6 ft tall and my boyfriend is 6 3". A very short lady in front of us leaned all the way back and caused such major discomfort my boyfriend had to push her forward. She then complained even tho she visibly had a lot of space. We requested an upgrade from gate crew and flight crew upon boarding but were told the flight was full even though multiple seats were available. Will not fly British Airways again."

Nadelen: "Passengers were hanging out by exit door with no regard to rules and were not giving any warnings-this made other passengers anxious. My seat was broken so I could not recline when the passenger in front of me fully reclined. Very unfortunate!"
Voordelen: "The food was very good. Tarragon chicken."
Nadelen: "Not large enough seats"
Voordelen: "We did land OK but JFK was snowed in and this probably caused the many problems we encountered. Iq always have bad luck flying in and out of that airport so I don't completely hold BA accountable. Staff we polite and efficient."
Nadelen: "We were stuck in the plane for an hour and a half after landing at JFK. On the ground they ran the engines so loudly my husband got a terrible headache. We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."
