We had to be re-routed via 3 separate flights jus to make our international connection thanks to our initial flight being moved up 2 hours EARLY. They closed the door in our faces. That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

Voordelen: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Nadelen: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Voordelen: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Nadelen: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Actually the Welcome on board announcement. The part where they special welcome loyalty program members. I do not get that... I am an explorer holder my self, but really?? so other paying customers are not as welcome. This is leftovers from the older days.."

Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Nadelen: "You had to go through their customs to change plans. Then you had to board a bus to get carried over to your connecting plane. There was not enough time allowed between flights to do that. They did not have enough bathrooms for all the flights coming in at the Iceland airport. Iceland Air is basically a travel agency in an airplane for Iceland. A lot of pushing by the company to stop in Iceland for a few days and buy Iceland products. It was a lot of hassle to cross the Atlantic on Iceland Air, and I will try not to use them again."

That is an absurd amount of time to wait for your bags, especially when the crew's bags were unloaded from the plane within 30 minutes of landing."

Nadelen: "One suitcase did not arrive in Iceland for two whole days after the flight and the attitude of the company on this matter was too nonchalant (as if it happens all the time and no one should make a fuss). Also, boarding was from a gate not suitable for such a large amount of people"

They have to definitely announce to the passengers THEY WILL BOARD AS PER GROUP NO. . NEED NOT MAKE A BIG LINE JUST RELAX ON THE CHAIR . PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF STANDING in the line for a long time May be they need to have more group Nos to easy facilitate boarding . This is only a suggestion. If they want to improve customer experience and travel again with them"

Voordelen: "Both flights I was on were somewhat empty, so I had an open seat next to me. Despite some delays taking off, each arrival was not too late."
Nadelen: "Had to check a bag at the gate, despite being under the two-bag limit. However I was not charged (as my destination was intercontinental)."

Voordelen: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"
Nadelen: "The flight attendant was very nice and professional but it was business class so u can't really compare I will definitely will not recommend ppl to fly with them This is not the service you accept for 3000$ flight"

Voordelen: "Large seats, decent fare - although inconsistent."
Nadelen: "Chairs are bare minimum and starting to fall apart. Crew is bad. Half amenities don’t work (eg no espresso machines, despite the fact they are installed). Almost no entertainment."

Voordelen: "Boarding process was fine."
Nadelen: "Old plane. Terrible entertainment system. We ordered Kosher meals. They cam from a company called Stogel. NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Flight attendants disavowed responsibility for anything other than meal service because "this is not our aircraft.""

Voordelen: "better than expected accommodations, wonderful crew."
Nadelen: "entertainment system stopped working at one point. Snack before landing was a sad excuse for a cheese sandwich. Bathroom sink was backing up."

Nadelen: "I paid $ 55 extra for my seat # 20G.Company changed aircraft(it was Boeing 777-200).I did't get what i paid for. They gave me seat #30G(regular).Do i have a chance to get my money back?"

Nadelen: "I was forced to check in my hand luggage, but the Amsterdam personnel attached to it a tag without any flight information, so this luggage missed my plane in Warsaw on the connecting flight and arrived later that day as misplaced piece. LOT needs to fix the hand luggage tagging system on connecting flights."

Voordelen: "The crew on this flight was amazing. Very attentive, courteous and professional!! The crew was in no way responsible for how terrible this airplane was, and they did a wonderful job of making sure everything was taken care of."
Nadelen: "The plane was terribly old and decrepit. None of the television screens worked, the airplane was dingy, brown, worn out looking and just overall gross. This flight was operated by a company called Privilege Style, and while the crew was fantastic everything else was terrible. The food was pathetic and nasty; they served breaded chicken that was so soggy it resembled a used dish cloth. It came with soggy oily vegetables and a cake that had condensation all over it. The only redeeming thing on this flight was the free Polish beer (it was warm). The flight we took going to Poland was on one of their new Dreamliner planes and it was amazing! We were so disappointed with this return flight as it was a stark contrast to the wonderful experience we had coming to Poland. I hope in the future they can discontinue use of these older planes, as it makes flying much more aggravating."

Voordelen: "Plain"

Voordelen: "The boarding and the flight itself was fast as there were a lot of people for connecting flights in Warsaw."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for 1.5h which is not ok. I see that for LOT is a standard practice unfortunately."

Nadelen: "Departure late about 4 hrs, little information along the way. More waiting at arrival for gate to open up due to late arrival. Seats are not comfortable."

Voordelen: "The crew was very attentive."
Nadelen: "The wait until we could get off the plane after landing due to the fact that there weren't any gates available."

Voordelen: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"
Nadelen: "The food is ok, nicely packed, but even if you don't like it they have extra options to purchase for a small price."

Voordelen: "Modern aircraft, food, extraordinary fligjt attendants"
Nadelen: "I wish that had wifi."

Voordelen: "they were not very late - within one hour."
Nadelen: "For three of us we had only one bag to check. They charged us 70 euro for that bag. All their flights were 30-60 minute late."

Voordelen: "Food was good."
Nadelen: "At boarding we were told we needed an additional security clearance "that way". When we searched for it and couldn't find it, we asked two different employees and they didn't know or offer to help. We finally found it but it wasn't a good experience. And finding out at boarding time was not helpful."

Nadelen: "There was a delay at Warsaw Airport for almost 3 Hours I arrived home 2.00 Am I missed a family wedding that night"

Nadelen: "Unpleasant crew members"

Nadelen: "Unable to choose seat at ticket purchase."

Nadelen: "Many people on this flight were bothered by the fact that their families were split up all over the airplane and no one could sit together. During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

Voordelen: "Pleasant personal, great service!"

Voordelen: "Service, food, entertainment were of good quality"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed 40 min; after landing the plane was sitting on the field forever; during descent, my ears started aching, and I think I got some kind of vestibular system damage, possibly from an overly fast descent. Not good."

Nadelen: "The crew had everyone measure their suitcases and pay for overweight, which significantly delayed boarding."

Nadelen: "15 minute delay waiting for a gate to become available after taxiing to the terminal at JFK. Ridiculous!"

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "Attitude of the Stewart was terrible she was a little cocky and didn't appreciate her attitude"

Voordelen: "Flight attendant made me a cup of decaf coffee. It was really good. And she found artificial sweetener."
Nadelen: "Boarding announcements in Warsaw for the flight to New York were ONLY in Polish. This left many passengers confused. I could understand this if the flight were to a Polish destination. During the flight, intercom announcements overrode the Entertainment System at FULL VOLUME - EVERY TIME. it is as though they wanted to maximize our discomfort. I would not fly with Lot again."

Voordelen: "I only liked that I got to watch a few movies to kill the worst experience I had !"
Nadelen: "I didn't like that I got no food I asked for a water bottle never got it! I was hungry the entire flight I was only lucky to be close to the bathroom"

Voordelen: "Everything was excellent."

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable."
Nadelen: "After the flight was delayed for an hour several days in advance, I thought it could still be OK. But when they kept us at the gate for another 1.5 hours without any information as to why we were not boarding, I just about lost it. Delays happen. That is not the problem. But the staff was rude and did not inform us about when or if we would be leaving. When asked about missed connections, said they know nothing and the transfer desk will handle that. I was travelling with my cat, so for me it was super stressful. Once we did arrive to JFK, there were no more flights to RDU that night and it took forever and then some to get me a hotel that would accommodate a cat. Just fly another airline."

Nadelen: "Quality of your business seats leaves questions. I have never managed to find a comfortable rest on TAP business seats. May be good to compare with other major airlines."

Voordelen: "The on-board entertainment"

I HAD CHECKED IN ONLINE, HAD THE APP ON MY PHONE WITH MY MOBILE NUMBER AND EMAIL...................NO ONE ADVISED. i SHOW UP AT AIRPORT AND NO ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY..............DREADFUJL AIRLINES"
Nadelen: "EVERYTHING...................THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS WAS FOR A BUSINESS CLASS TRAVEL.................JUST IMAGINE WHAT A NIGHTMAORE THIS WAS FOR ECONOMY TRAVELING PASSANGERS"

Voordelen: "Crew very friendly"
Nadelen: "The process for getting ready to board was a little chaotic"

Nadelen: "Boarding process was in fact dangerous, with people corralled into small spaces without letting them out on the other end. We felt claustrophobic, crushed, and at one point people were even having to jump over the escalator to the bus loading area because there was too much crowding. Dangerous"

Voordelen: "All was well from checking in to baggage claim."
Nadelen: "A delay of about 20 mins"

Voordelen: "Nothing, I tried to cancel the reservation 3 days after I made it and couldn’t even get a percentage back. What a waste."
Nadelen: "Let me cancel the flight for a percentage back so I didn’t have to waste the entire price of the flight for a ticket I couldn’t use."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "They don’t even give glass of water in business class. Terrible attention."

Nadelen: "It took a long time to board the plane and there was literally no line at the boarding gate. When I mean there was no line, its not that there were no people, its that we stood grouped together, because there was not enough space for everyone, so no line could form. So people simply cut in front of each other and there was quite a bit of anger and tension.Once we were on board, and seated, they came through and provided a meal. However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Nadelen: "Flight was so delayed we missed our connection."

Nadelen: "Be on time and that they dont loose my bags! Wait for and extra 2 hours in the arrival airport because of the lost"

Nadelen: "We were just surprised by the charges for our checked bags. Thought we had it all covered, but no!"

Voordelen: "The crew on both flights were despite the first flight being delayed by 2 hours."
Nadelen: "More communication with the passengers."

Nadelen: "Dinner (entree, salad, shrimp appetizer, roll, and flan) and breakfast (fruit,croissant, roll,meat, cheese) were delicious -- but left us stuffed.Outstanding service. Milk or creme with coffee would have been nice."

Voordelen: "The crew were excellent during the flight."
Nadelen: "We missed our connection flight because our first flight was delayed. Despite getting to the desk when there were still people queuing he refused to let us board. We are now delayed for 30 hours with no money or clothes. TAP staff were horrible- no sympathy or even an apology. Just awful."

Voordelen: "the crew was very helpful and friendly"
Nadelen: "The Lisbon airport could have more places with working electrical plugs or USB ports in order to charge devices while waiting for your flight."

Voordelen: "The seats do recline, more space than Delta or United"

Nadelen: "Plane was full thus carry on roller bags had to be checked- big security concern re theft"

Voordelen: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."
Nadelen: "I like Kayak. But am very concerned about booking through in the future with this treatment."

Voordelen: "Frendly"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "The fact that it was a direct flight."
Nadelen: "First of all, I would like to start by saying that I flight with TAP very often. I guess you can check on your system. I had good experiences in the past and actually recommeded to friends/family. I hope this flight was an exception. A few things were not that good this time. 1) First of all, the online check-in wasn't working until a few hours before the flight, and I didn't even give me the option to choose my seat. Once in the plane, I noticed plenty of empty seats in several areas of the plane. I could have had a much better seat. Also, the fact that the price of the luggage in the ticket is not included is insane! They let you know right at the boarding area. Another 100 plus dollars in addition to the 1,6000 that I paid for the ticket. Incredible!! And they only gave us 15 dollars voucher!! 2) There was a 2 hours delay due to a storm in the south of the USA. Although I am fully understandable with the fact that this situation is out of hands for the TAP company, is it in their hands the care and wellbeing of their passengers. As previoulsy stated, I received a 15 dollars voucher to use becasue of the delay. At any airport, for any decent meal, you will pay a minimum of 25-30 dollars. All items are more expensive. While waiting in the gate to board, we were not offered with snacks, water, etc.. additionally, no announements or updates at all. 3) I had a very uncofortable situation with one of the filght attenders. Male, very tall, dark hair and dark skin. When distributing dinner, I found the way he approached me very disrespectul, ironic and dismissive. ZERO customer services and he is actually the face of TAP in these planes. Unaceptable. I have to look all the way up to him, he wouldn't make an effort to band a bit (of course, not completely) to at least try to hear what I was saying. He was requesting me to speak loud but he would not make a minimum effort to get close to me. His demeanor and attitude made me feel very upsted... abuse of power... to the pooint that I ended up not taking the meal. No manners at all. He should understand that after hours of waiting (check-in usual time plus the 2 hours delay) we were all very tired. Particularly at that timeof the day. Some of us where up for since earlyi in the moring and you could tell that most of the passengers were exhausted. The second we got into our seat, we all used our blankets and try to sleep. He was not empathetic or councious about that. I felt very uncomfortable. Both of the girls that were also in the back area of the plane, were also lacking manners and customer services. I don't know.. other times was much better."

Voordelen: "The crew was great. Happy crew is a fun crew to be around."

Nadelen: "Late takeoff. Late arrival. Had to run thru the terminal to catch the next leg. Lost luggage."

Voordelen: "Nice and clean aircraft, snack on the way to Lisbon"
Nadelen: "Cramped seats (very),"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "I paid for the upgrade to business class and is like wasting money, the seat on business class was not working good"

Nadelen: "Inbound flight - flight got canceled from Budapest - after calling the airline and waiting in the line the 2 first lady I was talking to put me on hold and never got back to me, the 3rd lady had no idea why the flight got canceled except it was for emergency. She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

Voordelen: "The stewards and stewardessen were very professional and friendly"

Voordelen: "They solved the problem of my sit. But i almost have a hurt attack"
Nadelen: "When I get to check my tickets they told me that I was in stand by. I have to fight to get my sit."

Voordelen: "Everything smooth!"

Voordelen: "Cancelled our flight, at 4am. Did not give a reasonX"

Voordelen: "I got to Lisbon on time."
Nadelen: "just another bus ride"

Voordelen: "Very easy to check in, flight was reasonably priced, and all was very good. My television didn't work, and my friend next to me, couldn't get hers to work. 3 different flight personnel tried to fix, reboot, and to no avail."

Nadelen: "There is only one unusual thing - the flight attendant was poking me to ask if I wanted food as I was clearly asleep and did not want to be bothered. There were still 90 minutes left till landing. Awkward and unnecessary and why in the world would she do that? Let people rest, please. :-)"

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Nadelen: "Flight Washington delayed. Airport about closes upon Arrival!"

Voordelen: "Well done...when other airlines offer nothing!"
Nadelen: "Slight delay in boarding... but arrived on time"

Voordelen: "I liked that the flight price included a breakfast snack and beverages. I also liked that there was okebty if leg room"
Nadelen: "I was charged 35 euros for my luggage (the desk attendant told me it was 25 euros) and I was told that if I wanted to claim my baggage during my 24-hour layover I would be charged the baggage price again. I did not receive an option to pay for my luggage when I purchased my ticket and could not find information on TAP's page about luggage fees."

Nadelen: "Having to wait 3 hours in Lisbon airport after airline failed to hold our ny flight leg. Needed to stay overnight and be rebooked. Customer service lines in Lisbon worst I have seen in over 30 years of flying"

Voordelen: "The staff and no delays. Checking in , great customer services and she was vey efficient."
Nadelen: "The uncomfortable seats ."

Nadelen: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."

Voordelen: "Professional and comfortable"

Voordelen: "They fed us and provided good entertainment. Seats have plenty of room and are comfortable."
