Nadelen: "The seats are so incredibly small for a long haul flight. Two people must compete for shoulder space, as there simply isn't enough room for both to sit back completely. Constant elbow issues and a feeling of being locked into a small space. I've never been so happy to exit from a flight. Note that on the JFK-BUD-JFK route, LOT subcontracts to a low-cost Portuguese airline, so this plane isn't configured for a trans-Atlantic flight, at least not for a minimal level of comfort. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."

They have to definitely announce to the passengers THEY WILL BOARD AS PER GROUP NO. . NEED NOT MAKE A BIG LINE JUST RELAX ON THE CHAIR . PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF STANDING in the line for a long time May be they need to have more group Nos to easy facilitate boarding . This is only a suggestion. If they want to improve customer experience and travel again with them"

Voordelen: "Business class was very roomy. There was easy access to storage. The flight crew was extremely courteous and did their very best to see to the needs of the passengers."

Nadelen: "I was forced to check in my hand luggage, but the Amsterdam personnel attached to it a tag without any flight information, so this luggage missed my plane in Warsaw on the connecting flight and arrived later that day as misplaced piece. LOT needs to fix the hand luggage tagging system on connecting flights."

Nadelen: "Going to board the plane and they told a group of like 30 of us we had been selected for random security check. So obviously it took a long time to get all those people through the check and we departed very late. Then sat on the tarmac for an hour and forty five minutes. The pilot said it would be 15 minutes and then never gave another update beyond that, which made it much worse."

Voordelen: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"
Nadelen: "The food is ok, nicely packed, but even if you don't like it they have extra options to purchase for a small price."

Nadelen: "For three of us we had only one bag to check. They charged us 70 euro for that bag. All their flights were 30-60 minute late."

Voordelen: "When we got to the airport on the way back home, they couldn't find our tickets. I had online tickets and confirmation, but we were still not on the flight list. We had to go to the ticket counter for them to clear it up and put us back on the flight. The flight itself was not bad. The flight attendants are a bit rude and condescending. The seats and entertainment was not bad."
Nadelen: "1. Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Nadelen: "At boarding we were told we needed an additional security clearance "that way". When we searched for it and couldn't find it, we asked two different employees and they didn't know or offer to help. We finally found it but it wasn't a good experience. And finding out at boarding time was not helpful."

Nadelen: "There was a delay at Warsaw Airport for almost 3 Hours I arrived home 2.00 Am I missed a family wedding that night"

Nadelen: "Many people on this flight were bothered by the fact that their families were split up all over the airplane and no one could sit together. During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

Voordelen: "Food and entertainment was ok. They usually charge for any alcoholic beverages, though."
Nadelen: "Extremely rude staff (allowed a passenger to almost break my hand luggage with hers, and literally laughed at my concern,) kept us on plane for 2+ hours with minimal info given on the problem, then de-planed and kept us waiting at Warsaw airport for another 2 hours (no food, water or even a manager appeared until the end of that 4 hours, by the way, and only after a screaming mob of passengers formed,) then kept us on the new plane for nearly another 2 hours. This made for an approximate 6 hour delay, with minimal comfort, food, water, info or sympathy throughout, nor an offer to switch our flights and/or provide night accommodation due to the 5+ hour delay on this evening flight (as is within our passenger rights.) The plane finally arrived to JFK way after 1 a.m., which completely ruined weekend work and social plans, not to mention how exhausting and disrespectful of an experience it was. PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SINGLE OF THE FOUR LOT FLIGHTS I'D UNDERTAKEN THAT WEEK WERE DELAYED IN A SIMILAR FASHION - AS IN, WITH LITTLE INFO OR EXCUSE. No, thanks, Lot - and you should refund us all."

Voordelen: "The crew was helpful and friendly. On this flight we had a delicious meal, snacks, drinks, refreshing towels. What an great experience after flying in the US where all these services have disappeared for bottom line profits."

Nadelen: "Then the flight from warsaw to JFK was fine, but when we landed there was only 10 minutes for me to get to my next flight and i asked the attendant if she could call my gate ahead and tell them I'm trying to make it, and she grunted and told me to sit back down. Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

Anyway I love those 777-300ER’s, they are huge with great up to date ambient lighting, excellent, outstanding entertainment , and I had the whole row to myself. I often take this flight when flying home from LHR to JFK. 5 stars!"

Nadelen: "One world premium member, last seat next to the bathroom, rude check in staff who we’re highly unhelpful saying they had no authority to help and to use ba.com for customer service issues and outrageous checked bag fees €75. Never again BA."

Nadelen: "We where not able to take the fligth's due to a passport issue, according to Netherlands rules my passport should be valid 90 days before entering the country and my expired July 29, 2018, when i booked no one advised me of such rules. I'm trying to contact Brittish Airways to see if I can be refunded."

Nadelen: "The flight got delayed 1:30 hours, because they had to change planes in London and we were wating in Amsterdam. We didn't aboard fast since there was no space for the hand luggage so they had to send the luggage to the belly of the plane at tha last minute. Definetly the worst fligth ever!!!"

Voordelen: "I love it the most that they are so helpful with excess baggage Which is why I always book with BA I am an entertainer working for many different cruise lines BA does not rob you blind if you have extra baggage Or your bags are slightly heavier ! Delta recently charged me $ 285 per extra bag Coming back BA charged me $90 and allowed me two bags The new policy on many airlines to literally rob a customer Is disgusting and the govt authorities should put a stop To it BA is welcoming and always professional !"

Nadelen: "the older plane did not have personal air vents and it was hotter then I would have liked. Also being in the last row of a section allows us not recline as much while the people in front could recline more, which made for a cramp feeling during the flight."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed by an hour and a half. I had a 40 min delay with Alaska airlines 2 weeks ago and the min I arrived at my destination I had a text apologising for the delay. Along with a link to $100 credit with the airline. This is what real customer service is about. Not just empty apologies."

Nadelen: "At airport had line for baggage drop if had boarding passes. But, then only had one station open out of four or five. One person had problem I guess. Line didn't move for 10-15 minutes. VERY BAD!!"

Voordelen: "We had ONE customer service rep in Heathrow who was incredibly helpful and tried to help get us home. She was wonderful."
Nadelen: "Their delayed flight from Milan to London caused us to miss our flight from London to NY, and thus our flight from NY to Denver, which was standby. When we explained how difficult it would be to catch another flight to Denver from NY with it being the weekend, and attempting to get a flight to another airport with higher chances of getting us home, their customer service rep informed us that as long as they 'fulfilled their contract' to get us to NY, it wasn't really their problem how we got home (or couldn't get home) after that."

Nadelen: "I had called vayama with whom you booked the flight, 5/28, and asked for seats together with my daughter who was, I THOUGHT, also flying on the same plane as I..I had asked the rep for a specific flight,nAA 105 and was told that it was code shared with mine, IB4611 but, when I looked at the seats 24 hours before the flight, on 6/15, I saw that I had been booked on a totally different plane and different departure terminals . The only thing similar was the departure and arrival times into JFK. I made a long distance call from the UK and got a really obnoxious rep who was very condescending, dismissive and annoyed that I couldn't understand her pronounced accent . When I said, " pardon, could you please repeat that", she was very snippy and snapped at me! No wonder they have such crappy ratings/ reviews. She was absolutely no help whatsoever after I explained that my daughter was visually impaired and HAD to be on the same flight as I, all she told me was that there was no record of the convo I had claimed to have with their rep on 5/28 and then she hung up on me. I will never use kayak again nor its outsourced affiliates . I am pissed, Weibo Benwitz"

Nadelen: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

Nadelen: "There was no food ! I assumed a flight from the west coast to the east coast would atleast provide with some food ! But nada. It bugged me more because I had to catch a another flight from new York to London. Other than that, guess it was pretty okay."

Nadelen: "The crew serving our area were terrible. Don was very rude to my elderly mother. There was a female attendant with long blond hair who was rude to another woman who was making a kindly statement. I would not choose American Airlines again given another choice."

Voordelen: "Red eyes can be daunting , but the comfort of the seating, blankets, entertainment and food let my adult children and I know vacation had begun"

I have been flighting TAP for many years now and it used to be one of my favorite airlines. No longer is the case. Over the years there has been a decline on service."

Nadelen: "They somehow managed to lose the entire flights luggage"

Nadelen: "Wasn't told that baggage wasn't included in my fee. Had to pay 170 Euros at the airport to check our two bags. Really really frustrating, and beyond an exorbitant price to charge for bags..."

Voordelen: "Everything about the flight was great."

Nadelen: "Seats are very tight and legroom is very limited, specially when person in front of you recline the seat. Also, you feel the hard plastic in all your bones.. more cushions will be appreciated... Specially for an 8 hours flight."

Nadelen: "TV didn't work. A female attendant made me store my hat but didn't make a male passenger."

Nadelen: "TAP Airlines stranded us in Lisbon. They were late flying us from Vienna to Lisbon and then canceled our seats on our connection to JFK. Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Multiple agents admitted their company is terrible and doesn't care about its customers. The indifference to our situation was surreal. Lesson learned."

Voordelen: "Plane was good, service on board pretty good."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and we were never notified despite receiving multiple emails to ‘upgrade’ our flight. While checking in we attempted to upgrade 3 tickets to first class and were sent to 3 different areas in the airport with our luggage, having to wait in line each time. Didn’t provide vegaterian options on board. Weren’t given a gate ever after landing 5 hours late and were kept on board for half an hour making us miss a 2nd connection we had to rebook after the initial delay. A frustrating experience hat could have been made better with just some communication about what was going on."

Nadelen: "We were never prompted to pay for our check in baggage at the time of purchase and so when we showed up we were forced to pay 85 euros for one checked bag for an international flight on top of a ticket that already cost more than $250. The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."

Nadelen: "Boarding gate too small. Suoer overcrowded"

Nadelen: "Two TAP flights today. Both flights delayed more than an hour."

Voordelen: "The crew was great. Happy crew is a fun crew to be around."

Nadelen: "The flight to NY was so cold that I had to wear my winter coat and hat the entire time and I was still cold."

Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful crew. Great food."

Nadelen: "The food was edible. The entertainment display was old. Not much leg room."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Voordelen: "The food and air conditioning"
Nadelen: "I purposely got a seat in the front row for extra leg room next to my two friends whose tickets I paid for. The TV in my seat was broken and I therefore could not at all watch TV unless I moved to another seat. I ended up not being able to sit with my friends for the entire seven-hour flight. The flight was delayed multiple times. The first time it was delayed because they were doing an extra security search by hand in the Gated area awaiting to board the plane. I have never seen this in my life and it was definitely started. Then we were on board the plane for almost an hour before they made an announcement that they found a broken part on the plane and had to switch planes. It was all very fishy. Quite frankly that I want my money back."

Voordelen: "it had a feet support the toilet was big it was airplane food, still better than most companies I know from Europe, Asia and the USA."

Voordelen: "The staff were very pleasant, extremely helpful and stylish (the airline's choice for attire is clean with great usage of Portugal's national colors). Thank you for the enjoyable ride home."

Voordelen: "The crew were iincredibly professional yet friendly Very human - at leat the flight attendant that took care of my area Enjoyed the dinner found my 11D seat to be very spacious!"

Nadelen: "Poor policy regarding musical instrument. Probably the only company asking to pay a special fee on hold or to buy an extra seat for a regular guitar. Ridiculous."

Voordelen: "I had a flight from Madrid --> Lisbon airport with a final connection from Lisbon --> NYC JFK and we were delayed in Madrid therefore arriving at boarding time of our other flight in Lisbon. The crew was so professional and prepared that when we landed in Lisbon there was a bus that brought about 25 of us who were connecting with final destination to JFK to the closest door to go through passport control and board onto our flight to JFK that they held for a good 30-45 minutes until all of us made our connection. Very professional and organized. Much appreciated that I didn't miss my final connection! Love flying TAP and will continue to do so!"

Voordelen: "They fed us and provided good entertainment. Seats have plenty of room and are comfortable."

Voordelen: "My check in was by far the easiest it has ever been on any of the international flights I've taken over the years. This was my first flight with TAP Portugal and I will certainly by happy to fly with them again. The next time, I'm going to take advantage of their offer to stop over in Lisboa."

Voordelen: "Pleasant flight- crew was very friendly and helpful; they gave us extra water when we needed it- no attitude. The blankets and pillows were great and used throughout the flight! The movie selection was fantastic! The food was also very tasty!"
Nadelen: "The boarding process was a bit hectic because you had to go through an additional bag check at the gate and then some people still cut the lines and pushed their way to the front-- that was not managed so well."

Voordelen: "Again, the crew was delightful!"
Nadelen: "Customer service to get a veggie option on the flight was really hard to work with. We did get veggie options but they were not very good at all. Movie selection is terrible, but the screen worked a little better, more leg room on this flight than the flight to Lisbon."

Nadelen: "The 8 hour flight took forever. From boarding taking over an hour (I admit it was a full flight), the TV sets didn't work. They finally got most of the TV sets to work but we could only watch one movie that has several glitches (restating the movie after 15 minutes and volumes had to constantly be adjusted). The good options were limited for a pregnant women (sordfish - high in Mercury, turkey sandwich - not supposed to ear cold cuts, and meatballs (I unfortunately dint eat beef). I should have opted for the vegetarian meal but I wasn't pregnant when I booked my flight and the crew could not accommodate me. Also I think the should have servered one more round of drinks for a ver long flight)."

Voordelen: "I liked nothing, and am sorry for the time i waist it with Alitalia. Especially after not letting me use the lounge even thought I am an elite plus with skyteam and Alitalia is one of the alliance member."

The warm meal and snack were better than your average over-sweet snack you get sometimes coming from Europe... We had a delay that may have impacted the food (if you keep warm food too long...)"

Voordelen: "The easy transfer from incoming London flight to the connecting flight to Tirana without leaving the airside area of the terminal"
Nadelen: "Not being served a hot drink inflight. It doesn't seem such a difficult or costly service and most other airlines appear to manage it."

Nadelen: "We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1. No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2. They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3. We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4. We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5. We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6. We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). However, we could not do any of those things because we did not receive any information about delays from Alitalia. After we arrived home in New York the airline l"

When traveling internationally, this should be considered. Rome airport (FCO) could do a better job of managing passengers with quick connections. It was a mess."

Voordelen: "I had not flown overseas in so long that I had forgotten how nice flying could be. The flight attendants were especially attentive and helpful. Not only did we get a "free" meal, but it included white or red wine if desired. I felt like I was experiencing what flying used to be like in an earlier time."

Nadelen: "Delay! I missed my connection! Had to spend a night in Rome! Had to be late to work Monday morning."

Voordelen: "pretty comfort seats, and they give u a neck pillow!"

Nadelen: "The flight was operated by Alitalia, so my bad review is about it: 1- they made us pay 75 euro for 4 extra kg on the luggage; 2- once on board we had to wait 45 minutes before leaving the airport; 3- there was no entertainment on the plane which looked like a very old plane; 4- they served us a tasteless sandwich and muffin(MEA flight serves a full meal) 5- the choice of drinks was poor: water, Coca cola, tea or coffee, no juices or alcohol; 6- we asked for water 3 times and the flight attendant never came back; Being an expensive flight I was expecting something more than a low coast flight company. VERY DISAPPOINTED."

Voordelen: "Plane in good condition with more than average roominess in economy class with accommodating crew, decent food, and entertainment."
Nadelen: "In Italy Alitalia was difficult to contact and failed to provide timely and complete information about changes to check in procedures, e-ticket number, and flight identification number changes. Web site clunky at best and telephone tree info all in Italian only. When I tried to check in on line only message was of a "problem" with the ticket. No way to get info even at airport until shortly before flight. Flight departed one hour late. My wife's foot room impeded by electronic control box under seat in front of her. In short, back office and online services poor but flight and plane ok. None the less, will not use Alitalia again due to back office problems."

Voordelen: "The flight departed on time and arrived 35 minutes early. The flight crew was very helpful onboard."
Nadelen: "Tried to upgrade my elderly parents to more comfortable seats when checking in, but was told the flight was full and there were none available. It didn't appear that way after being boarded and seated."

Voordelen: "Not too much. Standard flight. They had ok wine I guess."
Nadelen: "Ancient planes. Had to use proprietary headphones, I thought they stopped doing that. No USB. Screens seemed 20 years old. It's 2017!"

Nadelen: "90 minute delay on a 110 minute flight!"

Nadelen: "flight was over 30 minutes late which is unacceptable for a 1:55 flight!!!!"

Nadelen: "No room and very uncomfortable"

Voordelen: "Check-in was great both coming and going."
Nadelen: "Food was easily the worst I've ever had. Staff were courteous but not friendly on board. Boarding in Rome was a free for all. Seats were extremely cramped. Bathrooms were not kept clean. The coup de grace, probably not Alitalia's fault, but JFK"s , we sat on the terminal after we landed for 45 minutes waiting for a place to park the plane."

Nadelen: "Worst airline company ever. Lost my baggage for 4 days although a friend of mine on the exact same flight with me received his. I'm on a snowboarding trip and they lost all my gear and basically made it impossible to enjoy my vacation. I sent 3 emails and no one has contacted me yet! I agree that these things might occur but the airline has to take responsibility for their mistakes and address the issues. WORST airline I've been to, if you are thinking of using it I double insure everything and don't count on them to be responsive!"

Voordelen: "Did not misplace my suitcase as they did on my October 28,2016 going to Rome. That was very stressful!"
Nadelen: "Alitalia customer service not answering and updating information on misplaced luggage. They acknowledged the mail...that's about it!"

Nadelen: "There was some issue with checking in, there was a massive line and over an hour wait just for less than an hour flight.. there was zero communications as to what was happening and there were no staff attending priority queues"

Voordelen: "Can't think of anything."
Nadelen: "The seats were the most uncomfortable my husband and I have ever experienced. The huge headrest forced us to sit bent in a C shape with our heads bent down, no way to sit normally and relax. It was pretty close to torture for a long flight. I just wanted to rip the thing off the back of the seat. I will never fly on a B777 again if I can help it. Its particularly rich when the captain comes on the address system and tells us to sit back and ENJOY the flight. Additionally, boarding started a full hour before scheduled departure, then the flight was delayed an additional 45 minutes while they waited for somebody's luggage. If you boarded early, you got to enjoy sitting there nearly 10 hours for an 8 hour flight."

Nadelen: "Same as above. I will never fly this airline again"
