When I asked her to put her chair up, she got mad. She went to staff to insist she could put her chair back. I showed them that I was indeed in a back brace for a health condition and that I needed opportunities to move and shift, cross legs to release tension, etc. Staff sided with the rude woman, who, given the chance to move to an equal seat on the opposite aisle where she could recline, refused to move. I was very frustrated and have never been treated with such discrimination regarding my health concerns."

Unlike other flight where meal is just an obligation, Cathay made sure that the taste was very nice too. Full points to them. The quality of seats was good & nice leg space as well. Overall the experiance was very pleasant & I highly recommend Cathay Pacific."

Nadelen: "The arrival into Istanbul was marked by a major inconvenience unnecessary anxiety, extra expense and frustration. On deplaning from a flight from Barcelona, a Turkish Airlines employee was checking boarding cards the connectivity flight and directed people to the appropriate exits for domestic and international connection. We had a connection to JFK and tried to enter the exit for international connections. She insisted that we go to the domestic exit despite my telling her we had an international connection. This led to passport control which had never occurred to me anywhere in the world when making an international connection. Next problem - I was told I needed a visa! My travel partner did not need a visa and was already through passport immigration control. The officer did not speak English and pointed in the direction I needed to go to get a via. I told him I did not want or need a visa but that was it! I started to look for the visa application area and there was no staff or anyone to help. Finally I found 4 kiosks for e-visas - only one worked. 20 plus dollars later I had the visa and immigrated. We quickly reverse the process and went though security and passport control to get back inside the international terminal. It was nuts! The boarding in Istanbul was crowded and chaotic."

The boarding process was also not organized well at all as we lined up in our groups, but people did not follow this so although we were group A, somehow people from lower groups were boarding before us. Somehow, despite flying Aeroflot all the way from Sofia to St Pete, the tickets sold to us were sold via Bulgaria Air, which meant we had to collect suitcases and re-check them at Moscow, all while we were not checked-in for the second leg!! LastMinute.Com is hands down the WORST travel website in the history of travel websites, as the above was not disclosed at any time. NEVER again will I even entertain booking via them."

Nadelen: "Asked them bot to sit us at the far end near the toilets and guess what.....last tier next to the toilets!! Broke my son’s bugaboo bee pushchair 2nd time due to the way they handle it as they through them instead of caring for them. Service in moscow is very poor."

Nadelen: "Checkin at SVO terminal D is total disaster. Understaffed counters, hours long lines, lack of instructions and assistance. On oversees flight 4 out of 6 lavatories were out of service. Cabin crew were in such hurry that they missed our row couple times. They served water only 4 times for 10 hours flight and refused to give a whole bottle for some bogus security concern."
Nadelen: "Multimedia system did not work (no movies). Worst food. You have to paid for tomato juice and cola zero. ===== Авиакомпания «Россия» решила поиграть в дискаунтера. Nadelen: "Not once have I seen an Aeroflot flight to take off at the advertised time. Yet, online reports show a perfect picture, with an occasional departure ahead of schedule. However, that means only gate being closed. Further preparations take quite some time more, and actual take off can start much later than expected."

Voordelen: "Great pilots. The flight is smooth which makes me feel safe (because I’m always nervous when I fly). They are also punctual. This is my third time flying with them and the attention to the passengers is getting much better. The flight attendants are nice and helpful."
Nadelen: "What I didn’t like was that they run out of breakfast omelette. The chairs in front of me got eggs and the rest of us on the back got two small plain pancakes with a super sweet can fruits which were not that good. I really was waiting for that omelette. I got so hungry and angry to smell those eggs and sausages and being punished with those ugly pancakes."
Nadelen: "They only save meat. The crew behive like a typical slavic, they never smile and always look like they are I. A bad mood."

Nadelen: "Crew at gate wasn't really friendly. Made some of us check in our carry ons stating that the flight was full, but I found on the plane that there was tons of overhead space after everyone had boarded. I had a connecting flight to tallin for a conference and was nervous that my checked in carry-on wouldn't make it."
Voordelen: "Typical service and level of attention you'd expect in business class. Great food and wine selection. The amenity kit has exactly what's needed and not more."
Nadelen: "Only 1 hour of Wi-fi included - seems strange for business class."

Nadelen: "The flight was 1 1/2 hrs late!!!! This seems to be a regular pattern from what I understand from others who have travelled the same itinerary. Not good if this becomes your reputation. The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

Nadelen: "We sat in the plane for 7.5 hours before moving. Airline provided no extra food though served what was meant to be breakfast before landing in the evening. Then they had not even coffee before actually landing. The vegetarian breakfast that was served in the evening had one dry pita bread with two slices of cucumbers and tomatoes, very lousy. Finnair has had that for years. If you order lacto-ovo meal, you get a vegan breakfast, a very low quality one. Why? I paid about $1500 for the flight and would like some service, too."

Nadelen: "Planes are old, small tv screens in aisles, older seats and headrests. I had requested Gluten Free meals and on the way to Amsterdam they did okay (besides the snacks). On the way back they didn't even offer me the second meal GF, I had to ask another flight attendant who went looking for it and found one.. so it was there, they just hadn't bothered to look for it. I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line."
Voordelen: "I thought the flight attendants were professional and friendly. We landed safely and on time."
Nadelen: "A nine-hour flight with ancient over-head screens? Great for those not sitting in a window seat, otherwise don't plan on being able to watch the movie. The first being a cartoon by the way. I'm sure the 3 children on board had a great time watching it. 2 bathrooms on a 9-hour flight for the entire coach cabin? One of which was near the front. Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."
Voordelen: "Called BA (the carrier for our FinnAir flight) when I couldn't check in (didn't have a booking number that worked). Staff member did tell me that all was in order with our booking. He wasn't able to check us in anyway, as something was amiss with 'the system'. In the end all worked out fine, we just made sure to get to the airport early to make sure we got decent seats."
Nadelen: "A bit nerve wracking to see online that our flight information 'could not be found' when trying to check in with the booking numbers I had!"
Voordelen: "The flight attendants actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, they all were very nice and smiled not like other airlines where the attendants are very stiff and anything you ask for seemed to annoy them. Drinks sizes more generous than most airlines."
Nadelen: "a long flight from lax to lhr needs more snacks and refreshments"
Voordelen: "Power in every seat. Great headphones. Solid in-flight entertainment."

Nadelen: "This flight was operated by BA. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. When the guy in front of me reclined his head was practically in my lap. TV's were crappy and the in-flight selection was mediocre. In flights announcements were very loud through headphones."
Voordelen: "Flghr was operated by American Airline Flight was surbooked and I was lucky enough to be upgraded in business class Crew members were great, service excellent MK"
Voordelen: "The flight was operated by Iberia. The crew was very good, the flight was on time and it was a comfortable flight. It was not a full flight (either way to or from Madrid) and there was plenty of room to spread out and sleep which was nice. The entertainment system was great with many options from TV to movies to games and music. The food was only fair but included a meal and a large snack. I will definitely take this flight again."

Nadelen: "I wish it truly were Finnair instead of American: The seat, the legroom, the fact that you have to pay 20% more to have the same rotten seat 12 rows further up front, the food that's barely fit for human consumption, the presence of 20 year old cathode screens that can't be watched but do prevent the cabin being dark, etc."
Nadelen: "Hi -- the flight was fine. A bit of turbulence and rocky but it was raining so it's understandable. The crew was nice, professional. The plan was actually delayed 1.5 hours. They sent a text message at 7:15 apparently but my phone was not on so I understand not receiving it. I also left for the airport around 7:15. I also received an email from Kayak at 7 am that said there was no delay so I didn't check to see if there would be any others. I never received an email from Kayak about the delay. I would just suggest making sure all the alerts I get are correct. I also receieved an email to check in 72 hours before the flight but it wouldn't let me on Finnair.com Maybe I was supposed to go to Open Skies. Thanks! Melodie"

Also, entertainment system was tiny (4" screen) and colors were washed out with brightness/contrast so bad, you couldn't see anything at all. Seats were cramped-I took an Emirates flight from London to Bangalore-what a world of difference!!!! Never flying BA again, that's for sure."
