Nadelen: "There is room for improvement with the special meals. The non gluten brun was very hard. In general it would be nice if passengers could pre-order from a set selection of foods online what they would like on their tray. This would hopefully lower the amount of food that sadly goes to waste. Also it would be nice to have gluten free snacks on board. Flying with celiac disease is not easy."

Nadelen: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

Nadelen: "the main meal was good, but it didn't come with much more. It didn't have water, dessert, or a side dish, it only came with the main meal, a piece of bread, and butter. The chair was not that comfortable, I've had a better sleep on other airlines for the same flight."

Nadelen: "On this flight, the Gluten Free snack wasn't good. Only one meal was served. For a 10 hour flight, there should be two meals. A snack was served towards the end of the flight. The GF snack was not good! it was two rice cakes with chicken inside. I felt as if they ran out of GF bread!"

Terrible signage, awful experience. Someone should be fired."

Nadelen: "I didn’t like the airport in Dubai. Cleaners locked all the disabled toilets. I walked to 3 of them. Very difficult to use normal toilet and having to leave your baby & carry on outside when traveling alone!"

Voordelen: "Arriving at Perth is always a hassle with delayed baggage unloading. Can Emirates engage their own staff to expedite this activity. The Perth baggage handlers are too slow, particularly when on penalty rates on Sundays."

Nadelen: "My suitcase wasn't delayed by a day, despite having a 16 hour lay over and came damaged! Noone from emirates is responding to my emails!"
Nadelen: "My Parent were traveling and My father recently suffered a heart attack. There was too much turbulence on the flight, so much that the crew members were terrified. It was very unsettling and unpleasant."

Nadelen: "They did not have special meals that I ordered but the crew tried their best to make it up. But they had the same collection of movies both ways. My return flight was a month later. Entertainment set of was pretty good on their Boeing 777-300Er flight, but average on the A380-800. The 16 hour flight will not be pleasant for most. Why the toilets are so compact? I would pay extra for bit more room. This is a problem with all airlines. They allowed me to take a laptop and a hand baggage in LAX but forced me to check in the hand bag in Dubai. They pick random passengers for this. Irritating."
Nadelen: "70 minutes waiting on tarmac for no obvious reason before 15 + hours flight is not nice, perfect weather, plane 4 hours before take off ready , but ATC allowed 14 small planes to over take us....Dubai airport big disappointment, not enough clean restrooms, overpriced ,not enough food courts ,only retail and duty free, boarding took double time than usual....for me no more Dubai,"
Nadelen: "need more movies boarding started before the stated date, told me to go to 3 separate counters to change my seat and it didn't even end up working out"
Voordelen: "A380 was superb. Really enjoyed being on-board of that aircraft"
Nadelen: "Dubai - Cebu leg. They managed to lose my suitcase and my understanding is that was done since the flight was full. I would appreciate if they didn't leave my suitcase in Dubai."
Nadelen: "Piece of checked baggage was lost en-route. It took 2 hours to get through customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."
Voordelen: "The airline still runs like a well-oiled machine. Everything is efficient and staff are courteous. Flights are on time and reliable. DXB airport is easy to navigate. New on-board headphones design is an improvement."
Nadelen: "Cost saving cuts are evident around every corner. No more night mask, flight socks and toothbrush. No more hot lemon towel upon boarding (only towards end of flight). Food tray is smaller and more compact than before, turns Dinner into a game of Tetris (although, not a fun 'game'). Flights aboard A380 are much more comfortable than in Boeing 777."
Voordelen: "A380 is great, roomy even for coach. Food is great as always."
Nadelen: "While most flight attendants are decent, a few are just not that great...making loud noises at the attendants compartments and chatting around while flyers are all sleeping, kick around garbages which makes loud noises too. Also the TV screen is a little hard to pull up at the front role."
Voordelen: "Screen was not very sensitive and arrow swipes did not always work. I was constantly switching between handheld and touch screen to switch movies or make selections"

Nadelen: "Krabi airport is terrible. Cramped waiting area. Boarding gates too narrow for capacity. Aircon not coping. Worst flight information I have ever encountered."

First agent was unhelpful, second agent better. Overall it was a pain to finally get another flight for the original day."
Nadelen: "Airstewardess was had a fake friendliness. Like they'd smile and say yes to the request and nothing happens and need to call them again. And another stewardess takes the request and same thing happens finally when they do come back with the blanket and new request for headphones its with the worse face ever. Jesus"

Later, the crew must had adjusted the temperature and it was basically steaming hot because the it was only hot air blowing out from centralized air system. I would say, very uncomfortable during the entire flight from Bangkok to Manila."
Voordelen: "It was drizzling, as is often the case in the monsoon season. There were so many clouds and I didn't expect Himalaya mountains. However, I was surprised to find majestic Mt. Everest! It was a great farewell gift from Nepal! After being impressed with Himalaya, I could enjoy movies during the flight."

Voordelen: "A pleasant on time flight in a very nice Airbus 380. Business class was very comfortable with prompt, kind flight attendents. The lounge in Hong Kong is well appointed. An overall great experience."

You mean i cannot have food while boarding the plane? Im starving and they don't gibe us any food to eat even if i asked them if theres anything . And that is a total not agreeable we are 3 people riding the plane myself and my kids and we did not have anything to eat. The crew is rude when I asked something instead of looking for another food is theres any. I paid for my flight including the food and i was not able to eat."
Nadelen: "Crew serving food should be nice and make sure that all passengers have food to eat especially if one, two or three or more doesn't eat pork and shrimp..if only i could i could transfer plane at that moment i will do it. Hope they will not feel the way i feel i was starving the whole flight.."

Next day, after boarded the plane, had to sit inside plane for 2 1/2 hours until the plane takes off. It was not a good experienced, even though they gave us a voucher for 75.$"

One woman didn't even look at me, she was just on her phone playing a game. Every step of the process they asked me how I could have missed the landed 20 min before the next one took off!!!"

Nadelen: "There was no boarding announcement. I was given a boarding zone for no reason; boarding was a free for all. Our flight was delayed by almost an hour. We sat on the plane, by the gate, while the crew called the Istanbul Flight Control to figure out when our plane could arrive. This flight had been scheduled for weeks; I would think they could plan the arrival time to be the ACTUAL arrival time."

Voordelen: "The Transfer desk granted our request to switch our flight from Istanbul to Chicago to Istanbul to Los Angeles. A meeting that I had initially scheduled in Chicago was cancelled and would have meant an extra day of travel and hotel stay. By allowing us to go directly to LAX we got home a day earlier and didn't have the hassle of going through customs, checking in & out of a hotel and going through another set of security checks with all our bags. Additionally, we had great service, food and entertainment. Especially liked the wifi that allowed me to read and send emails, texts and do some work."
Nadelen: "Even though they had at least an hour to transfer the bags from the Chicago flight and put it on the LAX flight, the bags didn't make it and they didn't find them for about 24 hours but did deliver them to our home at 1:45 AM (@37 hours after arriving)"
Voordelen: "Just entertainment system and crew makes your life easier on aircraft."
Nadelen: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."
