There was no accommodation given to my cousin so I have to take him back home with me and then drive 2 hours tomorrow morning to bring him back for his new flight. •The charger ports for our seats were not working, which means we were 8 hours + without a phone. •One female flight attendant had a bad attitude and dropped pretzels in my lap after I turned to quickly ask my cousin a question regarding what drink he wanted. •The plane landing was one of the most reckless I’d ever witnessed."

Nadelen: "The disjointed announcements which kept disrupting the movie we were watching. It would be helpful to have one single announcement instead of breaking it up into several smaller units. We had a serious issue with a passenger in front of us who kept jamming his seat back into our knees. The flight staff did a great job of trying to resolve the issue. But the bottom line is that the seats are way too close together for such a long flight."
Voordelen: "The services provided by United were good, although we were delayed due to mechanical issues. However, we were kept informed and made comfortable."
Nadelen: "I did not know when I booked through Lufthansa that it was a United flight, so I could not check in online and I was not able to order my gluten-free meal. Also, since it was Lufthansa, I was not able to download the entertainment system onto my portable device because I did not know I needed to."

Voordelen: "The flight from Frankfurt to Newark, NJ was good. Flight crew was courteous and movies made the time go quickly. Food and drinks were also plentiful. I have no complaints other than having to pay extra for seat assignments."

Voordelen: "The staff are nice enough and in Amsterdam, were efficient getting us on the plane. They did board by zones, which was something not evident when I changed planes in Reykjavik. That was total chaos and makes me question if I ever want to fly this airline again."
Nadelen: "No food, not even a little snack even on longer hauls. No foot rests, average seats. They come through the cabin with this annoying cart full of Icelandic souvenirs and other products."

Nadelen: "Reykjavik airport is a bit unorganized. People wait at gates with very little seating in a big mob, that tends to block the whole Concorse. Then when the gate opens, people funnel in form all sides"
Voordelen: "Long flight but my husband and I had three seats to ourselves (both ways) and that really helps."
Nadelen: "Boarding was suppose to start at 4:10 but didn't happen until 4:40. Our flight was suppose to leave at 5. We ended up arriving a half hour late to Newerk. When you're on Icelandic time in the states, and you have to wait in line at customs, a half hour delay makes a difference."

Nadelen: "Check-in could have been better, it took much longer than needed. Knowing that meals would not be served, there was therefore very little time to eat something first and by snacks for the flight, despite the fact that we arrived more than two hours ahead at the airport."

Nadelen: "This is a fairly short flight, but, as usual, the leg room is insufficient, and I'm only five feet. I felt bad for my six foot husband."

Nadelen: "I didn't like the prices for food. A bit high for a baguette with just bread cheese and one slice of ham. It was very good but pricey. Also, boarding is disorganized. They call everyone at once, not by rows, so it gets congested FAST."

Nadelen: "There were no announcements explaining why our flight was not boarding on time. We waited about 50 minutes at the gate while other flights that had later boarding times were boarding. Besides being squished in a crowd with nowhere to sit for such a long time and no explanation about why we weren't boarding made for very grumpy passengers even before we got on the plane!"
Nadelen: "No free meal, constant duty free sales runs up and down the aisle by flight attendants, broken seats and headphone jacks, slow and clumsy boarding process"

Nadelen: "I did not like the fact they did not serve dinner. I have Never been on an international flight without dinner. Seats are also uncomfortable and outdated. Never again !!!"
Nadelen: "Luggage was left in Amsterdam. The A'dam flight was an hour late, which didn't leave enough time to have dinner."

Nadelen: "Everything, the staff was rude especially at the gate. I was forced to check my bag not because of size but because I was in Group 6 boarding and I got on there was plenty of room on the plane. I had even explained I needed to do work and would have to hold everything in my arms."

Voordelen: "American did the right thing and turned around our flight when a passenger became ill. Despite leaving very late, the pilot was able to make up time to Philadelphia so we were able to make our connection."
Nadelen: "Recovery of this unplanned event was poor at best. Had to leave for the airport at 6 am only to then wait for 6 hours before we could board. to make matters worse, American then scheduled wake up time for all of the passengers for 4:40 am. I don't take that long to get ready. They did not do a very good job communicating to us on how they were going to recover from this unplanned event."

Nadelen: "The wait was horrible, the boarding was delayed and the plane was hot and stuffy. Very bad first experience."

Nadelen: "Departure gate staff forced passengers to check bags, when there were multiple empty overhead bins on the plane at takeoff. This makes no sense."

Nadelen: "We arrived 2 1/2 hr before boarding and arrived at the gate 6 minutes before AA was announcing it would close the gate. Desk was clearly understaffed."

Nadelen: "My flight TO Charlotte was cancelled on Wednesday morning and AA couldn’t find me a flight to CLT on Wednesday so I had to spend 22 hours in the car driving to NC and back. I huge pain!!!"

Nadelen: "The lack of overhead storage was not noted at the gate so about half the passengers had to have their hand luggage tagged on the plane itself, involving wheeling to the back to be tagged. Then once everyone was seated, the attendant wheeled them by and passengers had to call out when they saw their bag go by so that they could be issued the corresponding luggage claim ticket. The seat width and pitch was sad compared to 'low cost' airlines like JetBlue."

It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Voordelen: "Heathrow terminal 5 is modern, clean and efficient. The BA 787 Dreamliner is the best and the crew were professional all throughout the journey."
Nadelen: "I would avoid flying into Newark internationally if I have the option next time. Besides from the obvious that the airport is outdated, it is totally understaffed. There were about a staff of four directing international travelers at Passport Control and they were impolite which created a stressful and unwelcoming experience. The second issue I experienced was at baggage claim. Due to some issue I didn’t personally experienced, non-US passport holders experienced major delays entering the country. This resulted in hundreds of luggage that were left unclaimed from a previous flight still on the carousel. There was only two airport staff at this area so people from the BA flight had to take these the bags off the carousel inorder to make space for our flights bags to fit. It’s was totally chaotic and easily avoidable if there were more airport staff managing this area. This international airport is a national embarrassment, and if you’re a foreign traveler, I would highly discourage you from flying into Newark."

When I directed to him and asked for help, he just stood there for few sec. and decieded to help me but with an attitude. Same as the other lady need their help to put the backpack in, both male crests stood there and wasn't planning to help, and the passenger stood up and assisted her."

The airline should have not have that tight a connection knowing all the screening that must be done to board the next flight. We were held up at every entry point, not told what to expect and thus had to prepare for screening on the fly, while hoping our plane would wait for us, which it did and the many people who boarded after us. Entertainment system was slow and non-responsive and my husband's had to be reset to even start to work. One bag left behind, but delivered promptly within days of arrival"

Nadelen: "90 minutes delay for a 1 hour flight. They blamed the weather but no other flights were delayed except this one. Also, I purchased a seat with no checked baggage allowance and was NOT aware of this when I booked. Will not be flying British Airways again."

Nadelen: "I bought a return ticket for my daughter to fly to Amsterdam for the summer. I was allowed to purchase this flight from Kayak and BA from ATL to LON to AMS. Departure was for the end of May to the end of August. When we were checking in the attendant told us that the ticket was no good and we had to purchase another ticket because the travel was over 90 days. At no time did BA or Kayak let us know this information but had no problem selling us this ticket. We were literally extorted for another $1000.00 so she could depart. Shameful! Will not be using your site or BA ever again."
Voordelen: "Nothing, I never had the opportunity to board"
Nadelen: "We had a quick trip planned to the go to London traveling from Amsterdam with British Airways. We were able to check in without a problem, but getting through airport security took a substantial amount of time, which caused sever delays getting to the gate. Once at the gate, we were told that we could no longer board the plane as the gate had already closed. Even more shocking, the service people told use that our entire itinerary (AKA our return flight) was cancelled as a result of this. You can imagine our frustration as we had tickets in hand looking at the door to the plane that we would have been allowed to walk through had security taken 5 minutes less. In the states, if airport security is holding you from missing your flight, this is communicated with the airline and proper arrangements are made. Unfortunately, this was not the case, forcing us to buy a new (last minute) ticket and losing a lot of money."
Nadelen: "Food was not so Good. Poor quality. Very Little Space for economic flights. Blankets and pillows very poor quality better have your own."

Nadelen: "Customer service was terrible. The flight was overbooked and everyone was treating me as if it were MY fault the plane was oversold and I didn't have a seat. No apologies, no sympathy. It was as if they were doing me a favor by trying to get me on the flight. I had to wait it 4 long lines to get it taken care of and the people working the floor of the check-in area kept directing me to the wrong places. Purchasing a plane ticket on your airline for a specific should be enough to guarantee a seat on a plane. It's absurd that I spent 900 for a ticket and that doesn't guarantee me that I'll be on the flight."

Nadelen: "The food was not particularly good, I imagine a better class of ticket would improve the food experience. Then again, one does not fly for the food!"

Nadelen: "We didn't get aisle seats. We didn't expect the food offerings to be great, and we weren't disappointed. We would have preferred that Trump not be president on our arrival. Maybe next time."
Voordelen: "I liked having Nexus get me through air Canada's malfunctioning Website to airport chaotic check-in otherwise may have missed my flight! Actual flight was smooth,quick and comfortable. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Airplane interior open and bright. Bathrooms clean and well supplied."
Nadelen: "Customer's time is valuable too! Air Canada website check-in malfunctioning causes anger, frustration and chaos at home and continues through airport check-in. HUNDREDS of angry, frustrated customers paid for their tickets, tried to check-in online and arrived early all converged into one CHAOTIC crowd. ADDRESS these issues, FIX YOUR WEBSITE, TREAT YOUR HARDWORKING, PAYING CUSTOMERS with DIGNITY and RESPECT they DESERVE. Competing Airlines are waiting for your dissatisfied customers."

As return flight was not fully booked, change of seats was possible and instead of being 3 in a row, we were only 2. Overall, good experience"

Nadelen: "Booked 4 months in advance - flew solo. Only window seat left was at the very back, near where the crew prepared everything. The entire flight was spent listening to them prepare meals, discuss their trip itinerary, shifts and how Air Canada treats them, as employees, so poorly. The crew were very short with most passengers and it seemed over staffed."

Nadelen: "At 2 hours into the flight I was most of the way through a movie. The crew then announced that some passengers were unable to view the entertainment system so they were resetting the entire system. Crew said passengers would be able to resume watching entertainment at the point they left off. Needless to say this was not the case. The entertainment system never got reset properly and did not function for the rest of the 4+ hour flight."

Nadelen: "I found the seats quite uncomfortable which is unusual for me as I don't have back or neck issues. Once I was able to position the seat after take-off the comfort was improved."
