Nadelen: "This flight was probably great but I was not on it"

Voordelen: "The agent at the bag drop was very helpful. We had two reservations and she took the extra step to call someone and helped check our luggage all the way to destination. Thanks for the wonderful service. Flight attendants were all smiling and very friendly. A very special treat that we got two snacks each which were very much appreciated as it was an early morning flight and we didn't get a chance to get breakfasts."

Nadelen: "The KLM representative was COMPLETELY unhelpful. She basically told us we were screwed and to go away. We spent hours on the phone at great cost to us (international pay phone charges) to be bounced for one rep to another. We were finally told we could get in a plane home Sunday, please to be transferred, starting the process over from the beginning. It was TERRIBLE, beginning to end!"

Nadelen: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "The food selections are limited. The crew ran out of popular items in the economy cabin. The personal seat lighting on the B-767 never quite worked. I eventually gave up on it. The overhead bins were too small for many roller boards, which caused some passengers to be perplexed. Delta should offer some inducements to encourage passengers to gate check bags."

Nadelen: "This flight was on a Transavia codeshare with Delta and a real downer after coming from a Delta One business class segment. An uncontrolled mass boarding, crammed in seating, no amenities and charges for a drink of water made this a pretty crappy flight. The crew was nice though."

Ground staff worked hard to get us rebooked & on our way as our first flight was so late that we missed our connection. So glad to finally see a charging port as our long haul flight didn't have them."
Nadelen: "Not the crews fault but this was the slowest disembarking process on a plane that I have ever seen. Hard to get comfortable in the seat. Not able to sit with husband as it was a rebooked flight & the flight was full."

Voordelen: "I was upgraded to First at the gate. The crew was very professional and friendly. Food mini-minimal, but OK."
Nadelen: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

Nadelen: "The seats were too small, the built-in monitor in the seatback was kinda junky"

Nadelen: "I accidentally left a coat at my seat because the flight was late. And I was one of the last passengers off the plane. I returned within 10 minutes to the gate, but the gate agent was unable to find the coat. It was obvious that one of the cleaning crew took it and I will never see it again. The gate agent responded with a casual, sorry, as if this happens all the time. So much for the integrity of Delta employees."

Voordelen: "I definitely like the variety of entertainment that was given throughout the flight."
Nadelen: "The flight attendant was so rude to others including myself. I'm not one to be to needy but when i was about to ask the lady if I can switch seats to the fair back where there was two empty seats she gladly let the other person but not me. She said no that if I wanted to sit back I needed to set with the other person. Our flight was from NYC to PR 5hour long and in between those hours she let a couple sit together on the other empty rows while I was feeling supper sick. Other passengers notice and had told me that they felt sorry for me. I was Embarressed. I was debating on venting on Twitter just yet and also on this review because what difference does it make. What matters the most is that we all got to our destination safely."

Voordelen: "After the extremely long wait to check bags which made us miss the flight, the date crew got us in another flight...it wasn't direct which is what I paid for, but they did get us out, but i missed an interview because of the lack of crew and a missing luggage."
Nadelen: "Checking a bag, delta did not have enough crew to get everyone thru to their flights. We waited for 80 minutes inline to check a bag. Then we ran to the gate inky to find the gate was closed less than 2 minutes before we arrived. At least 20 others also missed the plane because of the lack of crew and long lines checking bags. It was frustrating, irritating, uncaring crew checking in, and a bit rude. Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. All because you didn't have the crew needed to check in."

Nadelen: "Waiting in plane for two hour, it got hot and stuff cuz they had to turn of air to defrost plane and was thirsty."

Nadelen: "Must have been an older Delta jet. It had no entertainment. The wifi was poor."

I found out 1 hour before the actual flight. Was offered a replacement ticket for over £900. Bought a new one with BA."

Nadelen: "Well,my whole trip was an adventure! Problem with my checked in bag, so i had to pay 22 pounds extra to fit it in a connection flight and now i have to send receipt to get the refund. On my way back, there was a delay, so i missed the flight and the checked in bag"

Nadelen: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed . When we arrived in Frankfurt, there was a quie of 200m . After waiting 10 minutes, they asked us to go to other passport control . We had to walk onother 10 minutes to get there ."

Nadelen: "To whom it may concern I had booked flight from Casablanca to Chicago via Frankfurt , on May 6th , by Lufthansa, two hours before the flight , at the counter in CMN , they notified me , that the flight , is over booked , and I can’t catch this flight , and they offered me different difficult options, , till the flight boarded , they offered me one of the most inconvenient flights , and reward me some amount , in this case : I missed my flight which accordingly , lose my appointment , and lose my business. I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me ."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Nadelen: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"

Nadelen: "Late leaving, when boarding in CPH had to wait in extremely hot area once past the desk where our boarding passes were scanned and then the area where we had to queue just prior to boarding the plane was glass and therefore extremely hot. The worst issue was that there was one family with extremely loud children with the parents doing nothing. I saw a steward way up the plane looking down at them at one stage while serving another passenger but she did nothing. I like children but this was constant with the father actually encouraging the children to make more noise once he realised that other passengers were annoyed. There were plenty of other children on the plane who were behaving. Although SAS staff were aware of this they did nothing to ensure the comfort of the other passengers. One friend of mine stood for about 40 minutes at the back of the plane and another for about 20 minutes to get away from this constant noise as it was so loud and persistent. I had to listen to music to block it out.SAS staff should have intervened because this was very loud and as I have said constant i.e. every few seconds for most of the flight."

Voordelen: "I liked that it was available for me to return to Amsterdam in such late notice. Got there quickly and even earlier (10 mins) then expected."
Nadelen: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."

We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Nadelen: "Plane left 45 minutes late. No reason given either when waiting or after late boarding. I didn't eat as I tried to sleep byt narrow seats meant being woken constantly by fidgety neighbour. Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Voordelen: "Very helpful cabin crew and did well to communicate in English to me. Flight was on time and landed ahead of schedule"
Nadelen: "Entertainment system had to be rebooted as it did not work Small screen handset was not working for the entire flight food selection was not as big as KLM or China Eastern Bathroom on board was smaller than KLM or China Eastern which meant changing into more comfortable clothing for the night flight"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."
