We were finally told we could get in a plane home Sunday, please to be transferred, starting the process over from the beginning. It was TERRIBLE, beginning to end!"

Nadelen: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Nadelen: "Although I have priority status -The ground crew in Amsterdam gave me hard time with 7 extra Pounds, and I was trying to take it out of the suitcase to no avail. Eventually the agent I was checking in with got busy, I went to a new agent, and with a flick of a keyboard he approved the extra rate based on my status, without even have my to request it."

Voordelen: "I love the overwhelming positivity exuded by the stallions in business class. Sometimes good things happen to mediocre coffee, others not so lucky!"
Nadelen: "The guy next to me looked like Joel Osteen and his daughter was actually Cardi B. I could feel the existential dread coming from their tray tables. Also, Lemon and Caramel cheesecake? What an awful flavor combination."

Nadelen: "We booked our plane reservations through Kayak . My sister booked my reservation along with hers at the same time. Kayak put us on different planes at different times on our return flight back to the USA. I had assumed we were flying together ( sisters with the same last names), so I showed up at the airport to find out that I had missed my first flight. I already had a boarding pass for the next flight, but Kayak had canceled me and booked someone else in my seat. No more seats in economy and I had to pay $1750. Euros for another ticket. Why would 2 passengers flying together and booking together be put on different planes and different times. We will NEVER use Kayak again!7"

Voordelen: "The premium economy clas was wonderful. All of the amenities, comfort, room made a long trip far more enjoyable. The crew was right there to help me get to the next gate."
Nadelen: "Frankfurt airport is dreadful. I'm elderly and being forced to climb up and down stairs to the Tarmac with luggage and then crammed into a bus to the terminal was terrible. I would avoid Frankfurt at all costs. Lufthansa needs to take some initiative with this."

Voordelen: "Staff were amazingly helpful n friendly. Food was yummy."

Nadelen: "1 person working the service desk. I had a question about our connecting flight from Frankfurt and I was told to call the 1-800 number. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

Nadelen: "We were detained at the airport after boarding and then deboarding without information. The entire flight was locked in a room and not allowed to leave with very little explanation as to why. After 5 hours they let us board another plane. There was water and candy supplied as food. It was a joke for anyone with kids or the elderly. Nevermind anyone with health concerns. BAD way to manage a crisis in my opinion. We were treated like cattle. And these were NOT cheap tickets."

Voordelen: "Air dolomiti - great service, prosecco in a real glass and with small sandwich provided."

Voordelen: "Afterall I did get rice iso pasta."
Nadelen: "Cold. My chair was bumped because us was just a little bit broader in the gangway than the other chairs. (54c) There is no possebility fot ordering foid for me: diet is without grains at all and without sugar at all."

Voordelen: "Crew was more understanding. Placed us to row 18...emergency exit."
Nadelen: "Checked online from row 21 to 6. Got a new ticket whilst boarding to 25: last row. Explanation...otherwise the plane was not able to go in the air...absolute bullshit. With my weight and of my fellow members better to let us in the front.. Row 6 was given to a miles & more client..."

Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic."

Voordelen: "Food and beverage service was excellent on these Star Allisnce international flights booked by United but operated by Lufthansa."
Nadelen: "Leg room in economy is inadequate for international flights. Seats had no cushion left in seat bottoms. It was like sitting on cement."

Voordelen: "Crew was attentive. Snack and beverage options were good."
Nadelen: "aisle seemed narrower. Got bumped several times as people walked by because there just wasn't much room."

Voordelen: "Plane not full so we hat an extra Seat"

Voordelen: "Smooth boarding and flight, fun snack (cakes on a plane!), relatively quick and easy."
Nadelen: "I can't think of anything to complain about for European commuter flights."

Voordelen: "Extremely roomy seats! So glad to have the room after a cramped flight from Europe!"

Voordelen: "That was the best airline meal I've ever eaten. It was a lightly curried chicken. Outstanding. Extremely fast boarding. Boarded entire airplane in less than 15 minutes. Nice selection of movies and audio. All of which you could stop, pause, fast forward, and rewind."
Nadelen: "No reading lights. No attendant call button I could find. Not much air volume. That pesky lack of leg room. Short seat belts."

Voordelen: "Crew was beyond standard. Very nice and friendly and always accommodating."
Nadelen: "They ran out of vegetarian meals."

Nadelen: "My ticket didn't specifically say I'm not allowed to have check-in luggage, so I needed to pay extra for that. I also got too little transfer time and barely made it because my flight arrived late. Then, my luggage got lost during the transfer, so I had to wait for 5 hours, which made my plans a mess. Overall not satisfied with my flight"

Voordelen: "Seats comfortable. Decent legroom. Crew pleasant. Food was very good especially for a very short flight."
Nadelen: "I did not know I had purchased economy light ticket. With this you can only carry on 18 pounds and must check and PAY to check any other bag. I looked at my reservation from Vaysms and did not see notice of this. Surprised that one hour trip at this price , well over $200, was in this category. Also trying to buy the option for the bag on phone was difficult. Whole page with options would not show and getting English version was difficult probably because page would not fit on screen."

Voordelen: "Our flight out of Amsterdam was roughly 30 minutes late. Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. So, Lufthansa staff met the connecting passengers as we disembarked, shuttled us via bus to the International terminal and ensured we made our connection. Finally, for airline food it was quite good (Vegan)."

Nadelen: "This was NOT a Lufthansa flight. The plane was a United flight. One of the worst I have experienced in 40 years of flying to Europe and Hawaii."

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was good, half of the cabin crew were super friendly, others a bit bored."
Nadelen: "Brand new A350 but very cramped seats, it felt very claustrophic. Flew out on a 747 and had a lot of space - wonderful aircraft, flew back on A350 and it felt like flying Ryanair for 7 hours! I am only 5 feet 7 and my knees were close to the seat in front, I am not fat but the tray table was touching my stomach. I dread to think how anyone ate the food if they are 15 stone or more, I guess the table rest on the stomach and the food has to be held on.. The food wasn't good, I asked for a vegetarian meal but got bland vegan food - no cheese or dairy even though those are vegetarian. Next time I will not order a special meal and just get the standard vege meal and risk that they have one for me. Flight crew were OK, some of the instructions about electronic devices were garbled and unclear, especially about the use of laptops."

Nadelen: "If you have any problems. Do not call customer support!!! Call centre is in SA, and the operatives are unhelpful, put the phone down and incompetent. I have reservations wheather to book with BA ever again due to my bad experience. 2 hours wasted on the phone, followed by calls the next day to finally get 2 off flights cancelled and a return flight amended in my party of 3. Not fun!!"

Voordelen: "Last minute flight (booked 4 hours before departure), one way, economy, for €99 from Amsterdam to Edinburgh via Gatwick. Long layover at Gatwick (around 3 hours), but I had much work to do anyway, so time went faster than I realised. Not sure if this was the case at Schiphol, but at Gatwick had priority security queue as a BA customer."

Nadelen: "Many ground staff on hand - but felt overall lack of coordination specifically after security check at the gate, with yet another boarding card check which seemed a bit pointless as boarding cards were checked before gate security as well? Eventually boarding the plane - one lady ended up in the wrong line for upper deck seating (which shows that the numerous boarding card checks they failed to give proper guidance on what line to join)."

Voordelen: "General advantage of flying with BA like T5 and lounges"
Nadelen: "Food quality going down every time and no flight entertainment for a 4 hrs flight."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for almost an hour after boarding which isn't the end of the world but to sit on the plane is worst than waiting for it. They had one disabled customer who screamed all night and to be honest, again, not much you can do about it but it kept everyone awake on an overnight flight. Would've been nice if they had handled the customer."

Nadelen: "check is was horrendous. Long queues of people, long wait and not enough people to man the check in counters. Sitting down in my seat my kneeds immediately banged on the seat in front of me. Its clear that this aircraft has less leg space that then usual. And now you have to pay for all food and drink. £9 for a sandwich and G&T."

End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines."

Voordelen: "I needed special assistance due to limit of mobility and I have been refused assistance twice"

Nadelen: "No food, only purchasable snacks payable only with a card not cash. That incurs charges for those that are not US card holders! And extortionate prices. Wifi based entertainment so you need your own tablet/phone. Great if the wifi works - it didn't. Neither on the outward or return journeys."

Nadelen: "Had a middle seat and didn't have the option to pick another seat without paying over 250 USD"

Nadelen: "We boarded on time but were kept waiting 2 hours on the runway The entertainment system was broken so no screens worked the whole flight! Terrible,"

Nadelen: "Dry / borderline rude staff and hostess. Dated plane. Tiny seats. But that is pretty much the baseline of airlines in the US. When will carriers start to take note from International carriers..leaps and bounds ahead."

Nadelen: "There was no food offered. The stewardess was not happy to be at work."

Voordelen: "Free checked bag"
Nadelen: "2 hour delay No food to buy or drinks"

Voordelen: "Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each."
Nadelen: "Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished."

Nadelen: "Seats are uncomfortable and absolutely no shoulder room when squashed in the middle seat"

Voordelen: "New Polaris Business"

Voordelen: "For the most part the staff made an attempt to help me get onto a flight. I think."
Nadelen: "I had to go on my trip a few days later due to a work conflict. I never changed my itinerary because I didn’t think it mattered. I bought a new one way ticket on a different airline and went to get on my return flight that I had paid for and was still receiving emails about. I got to the airport to check in for my return flight and it had been canceled because I didn’t get on the first leg. I was never notified and they couldn’t get me on the flight I wanted because it was leaving in less than hour(which is a stupid rule). And to get me on a flight the next day would cost $2500. No thanks. And before anyone tells me that it’s in the fine print that they cancel a flight if you don’t show up, save it. We all know people don’t read all that. Be a human being. So if your plans change, make sure you officially change your plans, because they may go above, but probably not beyond. Oh and it took quite a long time for them to figure out what happened. If they had realized and I didn’t spend so much time on the phone with customer service, I might’ve been outside the hour window requirement."

Nadelen: "Being bussed a long way out to the airplane made us depart late. Very inefficient handling by the staff. They should have started earlier. This has never happened to me before on United. What has happened?"

Voordelen: "Trying to get all of our seats (3) together"

Nadelen: "I was unable to go on the flight because of the extraordinarily high cost of changing a last name from a maiden name to a married name. I was so disappointed by the service."

Voordelen: "It was a short flight, less than an hour, but the crew was great."

Voordelen: "We vertrokken ruim voor schema"

Nadelen: "Plane sat on rinway in Newark. For 4 hours before takeoff with no explanation provided. I miissed my connection to Dubrovnik. I was flown from munich to frankfurt and then to zagreb. I was put up in a very low class hotel. I aarived in dubrovnik at noon the following day. This caused me great anxiety and aggravation and a losd of a full day of vacation."

Nadelen: "My flight was ten hours late and no accommodations were provided. 40% off tickets to hotels and no way to get to them."

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht van Honolulu naar LA in moderne Boeing 737-900 van alle gemakken voorzien."

Voordelen: "nicest flight attendants and very friendly, thoughtful service. thanks for a great flight!"

Nadelen: "Entertainment Did not work properly."

Voordelen: "Crew and staff were very friendly, helpful and wonderful experience with them. I appreciate the flight leaving and arriving close to scheduled time."
Nadelen: "No USB charge connectors/power outlets (integral these days on a long international flight). The quality of in seat tv screen is mediocre - best to watch on your own device (but then you need the USB connection that is missing on this flight). The wifi kept on dropping in the plane (both ways). The food is not as good as served on other airlines and they ran out of dishes both ways and we did not have choices and had to eat what was available (which was not good either). Should indicate on seat selection when making purchase if there will be items below seat such as metal boxes that will limit legroom more than for other seats. I was placed at such a seat both ways, and had no legroom for over 8 hrs each way. :/"

Voordelen: "The flight crew was phenomenal!"

Voordelen: "Everything was great. First time using Kayak and first time on United."

Nadelen: "there weren't any movie options. the crew put on three or four movies that started and ended at their own designated time."

Nadelen: "there was no in-flight entertainment for the duration of the flight."

Nadelen: "My seat did not recline at all. I believe it was broken."

Voordelen: "the United app that let me watch movies from my own device. The flight attendant gave me an extra blanket."
Nadelen: "the plane was very old and didn't have the entertainment options that newer planes have. The screen was so small and nearly impossible to see when the person in front of me reclined. The toilets weren't very clean. The food was very mediocre. I have a dairy intolerance, and both options contained dairy products. There was no lactose free or diabetic special meal option. There was an hour and a half delay to repair something on the plane when we made an emergency medical landing in Boston. I didn't mind the landing; I minded the excessive delay and wonder what would have happened if we didn't stop in Boston? What would have happened to the plan?"

Voordelen: "The flight landed early."
Nadelen: "United Priority Gold Status were placed in Group 2 boarding?!"

Voordelen: "The fact that we had two checked bags at no cost as well as the communication of the airline crew and also the choice of entertainment which even included HBO and Showtime."

Nadelen: "I required a wheelchair from gate to gate, on each gate I had to ask for it a few times, regardless that it said so in the computer. On one departure i bearly made as we ran really late. United reps seems kind of moody. Waiting for so eone to pick me up last minute made for a really stressful trip."

Voordelen: "The service was outstanding. There was a lot of space between the seats. A lot of movies to choose and the best part you don't have to pay for it. Nothing like other airlines. This is the best by far!"

Voordelen: "Everything was very painless from booking to flying! This was my first time flying United and I'm very impressed and excited to fly with them again in the future. I had an hour delay on departure that caused me to miss something but when I called united to move my return flight due to this they handled it great! Based on that alone I feel myself become a loyal United customer! How you handle mishaps means the world to someone like me!"

Voordelen: "Food was good"
Nadelen: "Well, first of all, it was operated by United. It wasn't even a Lufthansa flight. Also, there was no power outlets in economy. What year is this again??? And no touchscreen to choose what movie I want to watch?? Get with the times, United"

Voordelen: "Meal was served right away and then we were not bothered for quite a while in the middle of the flight."
Nadelen: "Seats could use a lumbar support"

Voordelen: "Overall the flight was good."
Nadelen: "I was a little disappointed when I discovered the weight limit for carry one was so much more restrictive than other major carriers. The seats did not feel as comfortable on the Liftansa flight as the United flight."

Voordelen: "Everything was smooth including the flight itself. Would definitely fly with United again."

Voordelen: "My flight was smooth, the boarding was handled quite efficiently. The sandwich offered was very tasty."
Nadelen: "I thought the the new release movies offered should have been much more recent box office hits."

Nadelen: "I paid for the Premium Economy upgrade but they don't tell you that even though you have more leg room, the window seat has a big silver box through half of your leg room space. The seats also had these tiny tv screens for entertainment. I bought the flight through Lufthansa & it was a United plane. Wish it was Lufthansa."

Voordelen: "The flight was good, no delays and we made good time. I was glad that the fasten seat belt sign wasn't on the entire flight."
Nadelen: "I spent 9 hours without in-seat entertainment because the system was broken. I had to follow up with the crew several times and no one ever checked with me to see if I was satisfied."

Nadelen: "It was an older plane and was not as comfortable. I found the staff on my side especially to be unprofessional and curt in their responses. One lady was chewing gum the second half of the trip. I also found their drink cart was not stocked properly and they would have to ask across the isle during all three drink services as opposed to prepping their cart."

Nadelen: "we had a 3 hours delay"

Nadelen: "Terrible airline ."

Nadelen: "Canceled flight, booked me an impossible connection, put on stayby when I get the tickets months in advance. Offered no vouchers and made me fly out on a diffrent day. Hs aircraft delays on all flights"

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "It was a United flight in a extremely old plane with horrible customer service."

Voordelen: "Good"
Nadelen: "That the captain knew he was having problems with the plane and he change flights."

Voordelen: "Everything went smoothly."

Voordelen: "The flight was delayed because the incoming overnight flight was late. But not a big deal. Crew was good. My family of 4 pickcked this flight because it was cheaper than the United Code for the same flight. I bought these tickets with my United Mileage Plus card and avoided any bag fees."
Nadelen: "Was stuck in the last row because I was not able to navigate the check in process with the Kayak purchase. Flight was bumpy at times I think due to headwinds. Food options could be better. I chose the chicken but was not told it was curry chicken. My family told me the pasta was inedible."

Voordelen: "Everything ran smoothly and staff was nice"
Nadelen: "The plane temperature was freezing! My whole body felt numb by the emd of thr flight, I was so congested I could barely breathe and I started to have a sore throat :("

Voordelen: "Staff had a great attitude. When I complained about the coffee she apologized and said they were getting illy! I cheered."
Nadelen: "The entertainment screen was the size of a small postcard with terrible resolution. The choice of movies was a fail as the lack of English was also. Felt like I was flying on. Dc10 from the 50s."

Voordelen: "Crew was great, captain was a comedian. Pretty sure he broke the speed limit getting from Denver to OKC (95 minute flight took just about 67 minutes. Hey, the pilot told us he was going supersonic) no complaints here. Again, great entertainment, flight didn't last long enough to enjoy the free wifi entertainment."
Nadelen: "This was a 6 person row plane. As such, with three on each side and more people front to back, I lost leg and shoulder room. At 6'4" & 280 with size 14 feet, you notice these things."

Voordelen: "Positive crew made even requests for seat changes happy moments. Even got us there 10 minutes early,"

Voordelen: "Crew was attentive, got my membership upgrade without hassle. Enjoyed economy plus with the extra leg room."
Nadelen: "Older plane with older entertainment options."

Voordelen: "Friendly efficient crew"
Nadelen: "Coming from the Netherlands I didn't expect cheese spread on sandwich rather some good cheese"
