Nadelen: "Onboarding was ridiculous. They merged two gates together with no instructions to the large crowd of people boarding the plane. We were scheduled to start boarding at a certain time and we didn’t actually board until 45 minutes later. When we asked the attendants when we would begin boarding and did they have any instructions they were extremely rude, laughing with one another and taking selfies. When we we asked for the third time they brushed us off with a time frame. It was extremely disappointing."

Nadelen: "I was put on another flight eight hours later even though I had already checked in. I actually traveled with Cathay Pacific."

Voordelen: "Flight crew was quick to provide food and drinks but quality of the food was not as good as Emirates."
Nadelen: "-carry-on did not fit on center overhead compartment unless I put it side ways, which then takes up space for other passengers. Same carry-on suitcase fit nicely on Emirates airplanes. Basically, carry-on overhead compartments have been made smaller on purpose or by engineering error, and this makes me not want to fly Qatar airlines again. Less food options. I went to the Gally and they only had kitkat bars for food. Emirates offer fruit, sandwiches, and many choices at ALL TIMES of the flight for economy class."

Nadelen: "Service was only fair, no power outlets for a 15 hour flight. Seats too narrow. Only good options for every meal was chicken and vegetarian"

Voordelen: "I was surprised with the quality of gluten free meals served for me, it was well organised and taken care of where I never had to wait. My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."

Nadelen: "It was a pretty old flight and had no tv in front! Huge disappointment. Probably they thought ppl flying from Doha to Colombo were ok with a low quality flight with no entertainment."

Nadelen: "I was annoyed that I could not put my carry on items in the bin above my seat. I was in front of the bulkhead so there was no other place to store my items except the overhead bin and the flight attendant took the space in my bin for some baby items she thought she might need for another passenger. I had to store my personal items away from my seat."

Nadelen: "While stay in Doha the did not give any food vochcher for 21 hours what they think no body eat in 21 hours I go to counter they refused next time I will not travel"

Voordelen: "All Qatar employees were friendly and helpful. A great flight!"

Nadelen: "One of bags was missing and I came to know this only after waiting until the last bag. The staff knew that my bag did not make it out of Doha. It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

Nadelen: "They never gave my baby's stroller when I landed at my destination..i.e. Houston. They said I have to pick it up only at baggage claim..and I had to carry my baby with 2 hand luggages all the way through immigration until I reached baggage claim...very disappointed with this. ..Other airlines handed the baby stroller as soon as you got off from the flight.."

We got to the gate too early (by maybe 10 mins before boarding time) so we were told to sit outside of the designated seating area and that they would make an announcement when we should go back up there. There was never an announcement, but we felt it was getting late so we went to check at the desk and they then said we were late and they were waiting on us. They were very nice about everything, but just thought that was really strange."

No one communicated with US I think your airline is typical Arab mentality unless you are white I. E American you don't give a shot about your costumers this is the second arb line I droped I will never take ur plane ever!! When I got to Doha all they did was through stupid voucher for food missed my flight no apology rude as staff disgusted y their behaviour and lack of care missed imprtant meetings NEVER AGAIN RACIST AIRLINE TREAT WHITES WITH RESPECT IT NOT BLACK'?? REALLY WELL I I'LL TAKE MY MONEY AWAY THEN I will make Co viols decision to never fly with u"

Voordelen: "The New York operation seemed much better. Our flight arrived late and was met by airline representatives looking to help passengers with tight connections. Arriving transfer passengers must go through Turkish airport security. Turkish security did set up an operation right at the gate. This both expedited things and relieved the stress of going through the process far from the gate."
Nadelen: "Seat was very uncomfortable. The plane was an older Boeing 777 (it had no winglets) and I think the seat cushion was the original one. Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information."

Nadelen: "I didn’t like The flight from Istanbul to Amman they changed my seat and put me next to a baby that throw up all over and I couldn’t have one minute of peace all flight long"

Nadelen: "Didn't happen. My first leg to Athens was canceled which created a humongous headache since it ended up canceling my return flights. Air Canada had to put me on completely new flights there and back. I think this has taught me to go directly through an airline. Justfly was not helpful. Neither was Turkish airlines."

Nadelen: "There was no boarding announcement. I was given a boarding zone for no reason; boarding was a free for all. Our flight was delayed by almost an hour. We sat on the plane, by the gate, while the crew called the Istanbul Flight Control to figure out when our plane could arrive. This flight had been scheduled for weeks; I would think they could plan the arrival time to be the ACTUAL arrival time."

Nadelen: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

Nadelen: "I wanted to upgrade called Kayak that out me through to VAYAMA that then called Turkish airlines. Took hours in the phone (international call) they then told me I can't upgrade (payed upgrade) because the business is FULL, guess what??? Business was EMPTY"

Voordelen: "Turkish airlines changed my flight to another airline free of charge and for the same day. The new flight was definitely double the price that I originally paid and got my to my destination a lot faster than I would have if I had been able to take the original flight. Alitalia was a great, direct flight to my final destination."
Nadelen: "Of course having a cancelled flight is always a negative but the worst part about my experience was that I waited 2 hours in line before being helped to change my flight, and I was only about 8th or 10th in line. They also only had one person to help everyone at the ticket counter until 2 hours later they added another person. In the end everything worked out and everyone was for the most part really nice but that waiting was annoying."

Nadelen: "From New York to Turkey, my connecting flight left before we arrived which made me almost a day late in reaching Cairo; big inconvience. They need to do a better job with timing connecting flights. Turkey to New York, the flight went smooth"

That restaurant has poor choices of items to select from ,food quality was substandard ,the choices of the items was to limited, and the people in the restaurant was rude."

Nadelen: "There was a disagreement about my hand luggage. At check in it was agreed I coukd take it on board even though it was 8.9 kilos. Just before security they said no. After going back and forwards it was agreed. No fault of the airline there were several infant children close to my seat. At times it was annoying"

Nadelen: "It’s an old flight with improper seats and seating arrangements ..flight has dull ambience.the food menu most of items were same as of my losangles abudhabi flight .."

Voordelen: "Had the front seats with legroom on a 380, significantly quieter there than in Business on a 777 Was out of Heathrow within 40 mins of landing, usually a lot longer!"
Nadelen: "Food was minimalistic, bkfst and then a chicken sandwich on a 7 hour flight..."

Voordelen: "The crew on board were gracious in helping swap seats with a passenger so that my partner and I could sit next to each other."
Nadelen: "My partner and I had booked our tickets separately and so were under different levels of check in (online). We were first to baggage drop at Ahmedabad and believed the staff at the check in counter would assist in getting our seats together as I have been shifted from my checked in seat on a previous flight. However he was unfriendly and unaccomodating which made it a very unpleasant journey."

Nadelen: "The temperature in the plane was too high ie it was too hot and not enough drinks given out"

Nadelen: "Delay of 2 hours in taking g off. We were all about n the plane. Not enough explanation given for this"

Voordelen: "I thought 11 thousand dollars for 2 of us to fly was way to dear business class there was not a lot of room. Was my own fault I thought I was going on a380 but I woukd think twice about booking again for that price not worth it."

Voordelen: "Not much. Free shower at the airport was welcome."
Nadelen: "Abu Dhabi airport is poorly designed, crowded and confusing. For some bizarre reason, we had to exit the boarding area (we had arrived very early), and then re-enter at the end of a VERY long line, then dispose of the water we had bought AFTER we had already gone through one set of security checks, to have another bag search inside the boarding area. (???) For a 14 hour flight, you might expect a bit more in the line of amenities (like the Singapore Airlines pamper kit). It’s also nice to know on a long haul what you might be eating (a la Singapore Airlines menu card), but not on Etihad. Also the movies on offer through the entertainment system were a bit stale and dated. They also had no arrivals cards in English, and finding them at Sydney Airport is a nightmare. (Why do we still do the stupid things, anyway?) Then, to top it all off, after a tiring flight, Sydney Airport put on their best demonstration of appalling and confusing crowd control at the baggage carousels and getting through customs. Used to think Etihad was a quality experience, but it doesn’t seem so any more."

Nadelen: "only one meal served on flight Manchester to Dubai, had to ask many times to get drinks."

Nadelen: "Abu Dhabi Airport Is The worst! Going through the transit area is hell. The wall of people extended out of the hall and up the stairs. Shear hell"

Nadelen: "Received luggage 3 pieces after 1 day of delay and 4th piece on 4th day Rest was ok Bus transport to and fro from planes Could be due to peak load"

Nadelen: "I spent 15 minutes on the phone to Abu Dhabi at my own expense (international rates, no free phone number) 3 days prior to this flight to order a vegetarian meal. The phone consultant assured me she'd ordered it. However onboard the flight attendants said it had not been ordered and even accused me of not phoning up. I almost had to get out my skype phone records to prove I had tried to order the meal. One flight attendant said he would order it for the next leg of my flight, but when i got on that flight it showed he had not ordered it. I had tried to order this meal 5 times via the etihad website and it did not work. I also added my frequent flyer number which showed as going through, but it did not register (a fact i only found out after the flight). Also felt uncomfortable with the fact the safety video was only half translated into English. Arab speakers had a travel prayer said, English speakers did not get the prayer."

Voordelen: "The trip was very comfortable . The boing 787 was a new plane and economy had a very good leg space The 3 3 3 seating is excellent"

Nadelen: "Entertainment system was broken. I had to pay extra cost for emergency price for a bereavement."

Voordelen: "Flight was comfortable and the A380 is super quiet. Cabin crew were helpful and friendly."
Nadelen: "Check in was a disaster with tickets issued in the wrong names. Also It wasn't until the night before flying we realised they'd booked our 3 month old daughter on a separate flight!"

Voordelen: "Seats were not reclining. Food is not tasty. Boarding is not satisfactory Entertainment is below average movies. Would not prefer to fly again"
