No amenity kits and meals weren’t as good as before. Other airlines now have a full meal son o reason why Virgin Atlantic can’t. Going to stick to BA.

Had a brillant flight from LAX and the lady that check us in at LAX on the vs6848 flight to Manchester was outstanding ! And deserves recognition! She was patient with when we were paniced about us been late and havibg five chikdren under five...she kept us clam... reassured us and booked our bags..ensure my elderly mother had assistance and also waited for my husband who had gone to the toilet and jad got himself lost in the airport. We made it to the plan on time... please fjnd that lady as I really want her to be recognized The plane was of high standard and we got the seats thats worked well with our large family My email is lubanzu.ssbs@yahoo.co.uk if you need more information.

Lounge in Heathrow is great. Staff aim to please and very courteous. The upper class seat is very narrow with no storage area. Strange seating position, no options to recline the seat while sitting up. Who thought that this was a good idea? IFE minimal. On borard Lavs shared with premium economy class.

Nadelen: "The rows are so narrow between seats that your roll on suitcase will not fit. You have no elbow room in your seat. People who live in England are very rude and would not let those of us seated in front of them to deplane. Too bad there isn’t someway to make people wait their turn."

Half of the passengers were still in the boarding area because no one heard announcements. Arrived 30 min early but had to wait on the tarmac for 45 min for a parking gate. Baggage delivery at JFK took forever."

Nadelen: "- Boarding kept getting delayed without any warning. - Duty free purchase was meant to be collected just before boarding the plane but mine was not there. This was not so much an issue but the man said he would have my bag sent to my seat and I was subsequently approached by a crew member who asked for my receipt. Which he was holding in his hand. I would have thought it would be quite easy to confirm the person without them having the receipt as the their name and seat number is on the receipt but he had to go back and check if it was okay. - Found it hard to sleep on the overnight flight due to uncomfortable seats. Would probably not be an issue in upper class. - No comment on entertainment as did not use it."
Voordelen: "Very short flight (43 minutes) No food, entertainment or beverage service. Staff did not check young children were strapped in prior to take off resulting in a two year old standing on dads lap throughout take off, flight and landing."

Nadelen: "Cabin service somewhat spotty. I was not served breakfast and had to ask for a meal even though all those sitting around me were served. My wife did not get the coffee she requested even though it was promised twice. Trash accumulated at our seat making use of the tray awkward. I tried to pre-pay for extra luggage on-line before the flight but the web site would not allow me to do so. We paid $100 per extra bag at check-in."

Nadelen: "We were waiting in our seats for about an hour before take off due to a need to de-ice the plane due to snowy weather. I think everyone would have been more comfortable in the waiting area while this happened, or at least given the option to do so."

Nadelen: "Once In London, we were told by British Airways that was flying us to Nice that Delta had “lost” our infant electronic ticket - It took 1.5h to get new ticket reissued! We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

Voordelen: "Quite a big choice of movies and TV shows to watch, more than enough for an eight hour flight. Normal headphone plugs so you can use your own."
Nadelen: "I booked together with my wife, yet we were allocated seats apart and were not able to be reassigned together. The leg room was so tight that I could not pick up things off the floor without putting my head in the next persons lap. Though the cabin crew were smiley and friendly, it was hard to get their attention when needed. The PA system is much louder than the entertainment, so announcements were ear bursting. The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."
Voordelen: "The flight crew from the mel to lax route were excellent. One was especially attentive to my 2 toddlers and gave me a bit of a break, something that has NEVER happened in over 40 flights traveling with children."
Nadelen: "I think something was broken in our section (mel to lax) as it was uncomfortably hot and the flight crew tried to get it cooler but could not. I’ve never experienced a flight that was too hot, usually the opposite. It was stifling."
Voordelen: "Check in was very smooth with very friendly staff. On board crew was very welcoming and service was excellent."
Nadelen: "Aircraft configuration of the 787-9 was very poor with 9 seats abreast making the seats very cramped and very poor leg room."

Nadelen: "We got told that our flight number had changed from VS103 to VS4049 but still a Virgin flight. Only when we checked in we found out we were now flying with Delta and number was now DL285. Was not happy as wanted to fly with Virgin.The seats were ok but the entertainment system went down mid film. Took an hour to get started again. The games didn't work. Staff were a bit grumpy."

Voordelen: "The crew were very friendly, and helpful. I also liked that the exit row that I was given had more than enough leg room, the dinner was really good for airplane food and snacks were great also. The attendant that I had for my section also told me that all food and drinks were free so they gave me a few extra adult drinks here and there which is a plus for how long the flight was going to be. The movie selection is great also having some on there that are still in theaters is a huge plus."
Nadelen: "The boarding process seemed way out of order, they made so many mistakes and nobody knew what to do, then you have the pushy passengers that are sitting coach getting mad that you're boarding before them. Breakfast left me wanting something else, lets just say this if you are given the choice of something vs french toast, take the something."

Nadelen: "Seat were very uncomfortable.. hard, not enough leg room and there was no way to sleep comfortably with the head rest that is set up so you can rest your head on it,but its awkward and hard an in the way..."

Nadelen: "My first leg flight was delayed and I booked through kayak on two different airlines and the first airline did not communicate with the second airline so 5 passengers ran to make the change and arrived 1 min after the jetbridge to get on the plane was pulled away. It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"

Nadelen: "You lost our luggage. We were able to pick up our luggage after the Sydney flight, but they never made it to Minneapolis. What I don't understand is why we were not able to get boarding passes and seat assignments when we did our check-in in Sydney? Why is that so hard? Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

Nadelen: "We booked our plane reservations through Kayak . My sister booked my reservation along with hers at the same time. Kayak put us on different planes at different times on our return flight back to the USA. I had assumed we were flying together ( sisters with the same last names), so I showed up at the airport to find out that I had missed my first flight. I already had a boarding pass for the next flight, but Kayak had canceled me and booked someone else in my seat. No more seats in economy and I had to pay $1750. Euros for another ticket. Why would 2 passengers flying together and booking together be put on different planes and different times. We will NEVER use Kayak again!7"

Nadelen: "Frankfurt airport is dreadful. I'm elderly and being forced to climb up and down stairs to the Tarmac with luggage and then crammed into a bus to the terminal was terrible. I would avoid Frankfurt at all costs. Lufthansa needs to take some initiative with this."

Nadelen: "1 person working the service desk. I had a question about our connecting flight from Frankfurt and I was told to call the 1-800 number. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

It was a joke for anyone with kids or the elderly. Nevermind anyone with health concerns. BAD way to manage a crisis in my opinion. We were treated like cattle. And these were NOT cheap tickets."

Nadelen: "No reading lights. No attendant call button I could find. Not much air volume. That pesky lack of leg room. Short seat belts."
Voordelen: "Crew was beyond standard. Very nice and friendly and always accommodating."

I also got too little transfer time and barely made it because my flight arrived late. Then, my luggage got lost during the transfer, so I had to wait for 5 hours, which made my plans a mess. Overall not satisfied with my flight"

Gedoe met teveel passagiers die weigeren een mondkapje op te doen en een kat/muis spel spelen met de bemanning. KLM kwaliteit als vanouds, maar verziekt door dit soort medepassagiers.

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Nadelen: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "I was never notified by text or email that the flight was delayed 2 hours! There was never an announcement made about options to standby for earlier flights. I had someone waiting for me at the airport for 3 hours! The flight home was very chaotic."
Nadelen: "flight was cancelled after being loaded and pulled away from the terminal. waited for over 2 hours on the tarp and then they said the crew had run out of time and could not fly. They took us off of the plane and did not rebook us. It took everyone over two hours to get rebooked for the next day or even two days later. They almost had a revolt on their hand since they did not have a representative talk to us until the passengers started yelling at them. Very poor customer service. Just horrible."

Air Canada needs to figure a better way to gauge the carryon situation. People had giant bags that just couldn't fit in the overhead. Also- there were far too many people with carry one. I paid to check my bag... then got stuck with my backpack under my feet and jacket in my lap for 2.5 hours as we sat on the runway."
Nadelen: "To be honest, nothing specific stands out. The whole ordeal was pretty much a nightmare. We were offered some pretzels and water while we sat on the runway for hours."
Nadelen: "- Delayed from take off for over two hours. During this time, pilot and flight attendants shared minimal information with passengers. - At one point, I asked a flight attendant for water because I had a migraine and wanted to take some Advil. He told me he couldn't right now because the pilot wanted everyone in their seats, but he would get it for me as soon as possible. When I followed up 45 minutes later, the same flight attendant apologized and said that it was because he didn't want everyone asking for waters. We were stuck on that plane for over two hours, and you can't get people water? - Gate check was not available, meaning that I had to check my carry-on when there was no more space available (my bag met the carry-on size requirements)."
Voordelen: "I think I got great fair, so thanks for that! getting a boarding pass was easy....it was nice experience."
Nadelen: "I know it is a short flight....but how much does it cost to offer a snack and drink....$4/5 may be. we start quite early from home....flight may be just 1 and half hour but total journey for us takes more than 4 hours."
Voordelen: "The crew was very pleasant and welcoming. The aircraft was very visibly clean, and my seat was comfortable. Most importantly the flight was on time and the boarding process was properly supervised."
Nadelen: "I'm 65 years of age and have been travelling by air since I was 5. (You know back when airplanes had piston engines and propellers). So the tings I don't like are what you might expect. I don't like that I have to pay extra for a seat with adequate legroom. I don't like being charged for the most basic of Wi-Fi connections. (Delta's and Amtrak's are free). Although this was a very short flight, the passengers could have been offered the option of either cookies or pretzels, instead of everyone being stuck with pretzels."

Nadelen: "Mad dash thru Monteal airport to make connection after 30 minute delay. Rep just before customs had a bad scanner and couldn't scan my boarding pass on my phone. Sent me back to find an Air Canada rep in customer service. That rep's scanner worked, and then they had a five minute discussion about it. Had to go back thru passenger scanning. Flight's gate was changed. Finally got to gate, flight was delayed, no updated information. Another 30 minute wait on the tarmac. Flight attendant in business class didn't do a cabin check before take off, man next to me continued phone convo during taxi-to-take-off whilst two gentlemen in front of me had their seats back for take-off. Bad service."
Nadelen: "The lavatory sink was clogged. The audio to movies was inaudible, as though the picture was streaming and the audio was lost. The crew offered little assistance to a clearly frail elderly passenger who had a very difficult time rising from her seat and using the lavatory."
Voordelen: "Traveling back to the US have Global Emtey or Nexus Like the free movies watched half of movie on the way to acanandr and half on the way back. Thank you"
Nadelen: "Last time I traveled to Canada I probably used a passport. BUT I never knew that I needed it I thought u could travel with my drivers lisence. Remind travelers to take their passport"

Voordelen: "Since we arrived at the airport very early we asked about whether we could change to an earlier flight. The agent was extremely accommodating and confirmed us on an earlier flight with no additional charge. Bravo Air Canada!"

Nadelen: "A 12 hour delay is not okay. The hotel comp was nice but they split my group of 5 into different hotels. The breakfast voucher did not work. The dinner voucher barely covered the cost at the designated restaurant. Customer service was extremely unaccomadating."
Nadelen: "We lost our connection by 20min because of waiting at customs were placed on the next available flight, bourded and them waited for over an hour inside the plane for a couple of customers that where stuck at customs."
Voordelen: "Seat, pillow and blanket were clean. Flight arrived on time, luggage was intact and there were no issues boarding or de-boarding."
Nadelen: "Booked 4 months in advance - flew solo. Only window seat left was at the very back, near where the crew prepared everything. The entire flight was spent listening to them prepare meals, discuss their trip itinerary, shifts and how Air Canada treats them, as employees, so poorly. The crew were very short with most passengers and it seemed over staffed."
Voordelen: "There seems to be more space at my seat in this plan and I received my luggage at the front of the line in LGA"
Nadelen: "LGA airport is a mess, they closed garage B at your terminal and I have to walk at least 1/2 mile to pick up me car."

Nadelen: "Very poor communication and co-ordination when flight was delayed and then cancelled. Rebooking was only available via the phone, even when at the airport, with a 45 minute hold time. Everyone kept passing the buck to another, and no supervisors were around. Terrible customer service!"

Nadelen: "My original flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems and then agent got me in a other flight to Newark which was the last one to NY and then there was a delay of at least 1hr to take off. Most likely, I will not travel with air canada again and I'm not recommending to friends since they are always delay with their flights."

Nadelen: "I had a very large man in the middle seat next to me. I was in the window seat. He leaked over into my seat which made it very uncomfortable especially when he fell asleep. I know the airlines can't do anything about this but he should pay for a larger seat."

Nadelen: "More communication from the boarding staff. The delays kept increasing. Due to weather, we were delayed 4 hrs. They only decided to accommodate everyone with water and snacks 3 hrs into the delay."
Nadelen: "Boarding could have been better. If you have 5 groups you should have 5 lines — not 2. Also the terminal in Holland was extraordinarily cold."
Voordelen: "It was nice and smooth. The crew was great, especially Urere, our stewardess. Comfort and food were good, on par with the nickel diming of airlines."

Voordelen: "We landed in NYC -- although it was first announced as Dulles."
Nadelen: "This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device."
Nadelen: "We were forced to use another airline and we landed in NYC about 5 hours later."
Voordelen: "Nothing. I didn't take the flight."
Nadelen: "They didn't get me to New York. Our original aircraft was stolen to use for another flight. So we needed to wait for another plane that wasn't due until 90 minutes after our scheduled departure. This second plane had maintainence issues. After 4 hours waiting I got on a Delta flight."
Voordelen: "The availability of media to watch on the long overseas flight was helpful to avoid boredom."
Nadelen: "Flight attendants passed out headsets to hear the media, my set was missing one of the foam ear pads. When I called it to the attention of a flight attendant, she took my set and did not return with one, causing me to search out my telephone headset."

Nadelen: "Being bussed a long way out to the airplane made us depart late. Very inefficient handling by the staff. They should have started earlier. This has never happened to me before on United. What has happened?"

Nadelen: "United's flight was delayed by 6 hours, couldn't make the connecting flight from Washington DC to Denver so they routed me to san francisco, spend the night at the airport there and then travel to Denver in the morning. Fortunately there was a very helpful crew in Schiphol that was able to get us on a flight with american airlines to philadelphia and then on to Denver."
Nadelen: "I was unable to go on the flight because of the extraordinarily high cost of changing a last name from a maiden name to a married name. I was so disappointed by the service."

Nadelen: "There was no gate agent until about 6 minutes before the flight was scheduled to take off and when got there they were rude to customers and dismissive."
Voordelen: "Crew and staff were very friendly, helpful and wonderful experience with them. I appreciate the flight leaving and arriving close to scheduled time."
Nadelen: "No USB charge connectors/power outlets (integral these days on a long international flight). The quality of in seat tv screen is mediocre - best to watch on your own device (but then you need the USB connection that is missing on this flight). The wifi kept on dropping in the plane (both ways). The food is not as good as served on other airlines and they ran out of dishes both ways and we did not have choices and had to eat what was available (which was not good either). Should indicate on seat selection when making purchase if there will be items below seat such as metal boxes that will limit legroom more than for other seats. I was placed at such a seat both ways, and had no legroom for over 8 hrs each way. :/"

Nadelen: "Terrible check in. Thought I reserved a seat on Lufthansa only to find out that United changed it."
Voordelen: "The first leg of this flight was excellent. Good crew, excellent service, great entertainment centers, comfortable seating, enough room in aisle to allow movement. The second leg of our journey ( From D.C. to Seattle) was another story."
Voordelen: "the United app that let me watch movies from my own device. The flight attendant gave me an extra blanket."
Nadelen: "the plane was very old and didn't have the entertainment options that newer planes have. The screen was so small and nearly impossible to see when the person in front of me reclined. The toilets weren't very clean. The food was very mediocre. I have a dairy intolerance, and both options contained dairy products. There was no lactose free or diabetic special meal option. There was an hour and a half delay to repair something on the plane when we made an emergency medical landing in Boston. I didn't mind the landing; I minded the excessive delay and wonder what would have happened if we didn't stop in Boston? What would have happened to the plan?"
Nadelen: "I required a wheelchair from gate to gate, on each gate I had to ask for it a few times, regardless that it said so in the computer. On one departure i bearly made as we ran really late. United reps seems kind of moody. Waiting for so eone to pick me up last minute made for a really stressful trip."
Voordelen: "Comfortable seats and lots of leg room. I was not crowded at all. It was so nice to not feel cramped and to have plenty of room around me. It was one of the most comfortable flights I have experienced in years!"

Nadelen: "I will never fly with your airline! My luggage is damaged, the flight was terrible at informing people about gate change, the food was not edible, do I need to continue. I just wont fly with your company."
