Voordelen: "Last minute flight (booked 4 hours before departure), one way, economy, for €99 from Amsterdam to Edinburgh via Gatwick. Long layover at Gatwick (around 3 hours), but I had much work to do anyway, so time went faster than I realised. Not sure if this was the case at Schiphol, but at Gatwick had priority security queue as a BA customer."

Our special meals ordered in advance were provided how ever a little limited Flight was generally smooth and we arrived earlier than scheduled even though we have left later than scheduled. Great service. New, Clean and comfortable aircraft The process while in transit at Lomé was fast and simple."
Nadelen: "The fasten seatbelt was constantantly on (not only while in turbulence) Though we had two full rows available for us, the seat handles could not be lifted; hence the full row could not be utilized... No entertainment at all. This can be advised ahead for you to come with adequate tablet."

Voordelen: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Voordelen: "I really appreciated the fact that the gate agents enforced the boarding process meticulously. Often times, even when boarding a certain zone, passengers ignore it and board anyway. The staff made sure that people only boarded when their zone was called. The flight and the aircraft was comfortable. The food was better than what I've had on other airlines, if not at least equal."

While checking in we attempted to upgrade 3 tickets to first class and were sent to 3 different areas in the airport with our luggage, having to wait in line each time. Didn’t provide vegaterian options on board. Weren’t given a gate ever after landing 5 hours late and were kept on board for half an hour making us miss a 2nd connection we had to rebook after the initial delay. A frustrating experience hat could have been made better with just some communication about what was going on."

AND THEY NEVER EVER ANSWERED!?!?!"

Nadelen: "cramped seats, minimal water offered by crew on 9.5 hour flight. I also found the extra charge to reserve a seat on this flight a serious affront to economic sensibility"

Nadelen: "Our flight leaving Boston was delayed by 2 hours due to a mechanical issue. So, we missed our connection in Lisbon to Venice (our final destination). We were rerouted from Lisbon to Rome and then to Venice, turning our 2 leg journey into a 3 leg flight. We were offered just 16 euros worth of food vouchers for our trouble. We asked for lounge access because missing our connection meant we had to cool our heels in the Lisbon airport for 3 hours until our flight to Rome took off. We were told we'd have to pay for the lounge! Then, our flight to Rome was delayed. We stood at the gate for 40 minutes past boarding time. No staff even announced that the plane was delayed or how long we should expect to wait. When we finally got to Rome, we had 10 minutes to make our connection to Venice. We lost an entire day in Venice."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."
Voordelen: "The food in Economy was way better than usual U.S. airline food. Ground staff in Newark were helpful in retrieving a book I left on the plane. Captain had the seat belt sign off early and turned it back on late in descent which allowed people to visit the restrooms. Video entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "Captain should have made more P.A. announcements during the coast in over Cape Cod to point out areas of interest"

Nadelen: "Lisbon Airport needs best practices tidy up: layout, cleanliness, boarding process is not good. Passport Control is much improved over last summer: all positions were manned today!"

Nadelen: "I was so dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of help provided after a FULL and LARGE flight was cancelled to Lisbon (then ultimately to Rome for me). I would like a FULL refund for my flight plus my miles accredited to my account for the full trip to Rome."
Nadelen: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."
Voordelen: "The checkin staff at LHR were really good and helped me with my visa application. They helped me to not miss my flight. Ten out of ten for them."

Nadelen: "Crew was rude, unhelpful, and the business class seats were essentially coach with the middle seat unoccupied. It was extremely uncomfortable and made worse by the crew being very impatient and not helpful when we had people in our seats, a 3-year-old we were trying to seat, and all of the overhead compartments closed so unclear where to place bags. Boarding began 20 min late and then we had to stand on the boarding ramp for another 20 min while the crew finished "cleaning" the aircraft."

Nadelen: "I was disappointed that for the first time since I have been flying, they did not allow my carry-on with me. It was not that bad though because by the time I got through customs and made it to the baggage carousel the bag was waiting for me."
Nadelen: "Our luggage didn't scan in the system so we couldn't go to the gate until it was found & scanned in the system. Fortunately we were early so this wasn't an issue but kept us waiting at "step 2" until an actual photo could be found. We also had a delay after boarding while they changed a tire. It all worked out ok."

Nadelen: "Air Canada cancelled the flght without notification. Sat in the airport from 10:45 in the morning until boarding call at 13:30! There were 8 cancelled flights to NYC because of Toronto return scheduling conflicts resulting from runway repair work. Air Canada customer service desk was horrible."
Nadelen: "They lost our luggage not only on the way to our destination but also on the way home both times in Toronto"
Nadelen: "Delay was not explained, gate change was not communicated. Poor communication overall."
Voordelen: "I've flown air Canada probably 6 times. I've been delays 3 times"
Voordelen: "Are you joking I waiting my plane since almost 4 hours"
Voordelen: "Hour and a half late. Uneventful other than that."

Nadelen: "Last time I traveled to Canada I probably used a passport. BUT I never knew that I needed it I thought u could travel with my drivers lisence. Remind travelers to take their passport"

Nadelen: "More communication from the boarding staff. The delays kept increasing. Due to weather, we were delayed 4 hrs. They only decided to accommodate everyone with water and snacks 3 hrs into the delay."
Nadelen: "They had no room for my carry on, I had to place it under my seat making my legs very comfortable."
Nadelen: "Boarding could have been better. If you have 5 groups you should have 5 lines — not 2. Also the terminal in Holland was extraordinarily cold."
Nadelen: "Overall really outstanding. I’m not a United flyer and think I’m going to be. One thing...like when you get free texting. Just flew Alaskan Air and they had that. Really good."

Nadelen: "Both flights were delayed, and was charged a $200 oversized baggage fee for a bag that actually isn't oversized according to the measurements on the United website"
Voordelen: "Seat was ok in stiffness and padding"
Nadelen: "Don't like sitting with my knees propped on the seat in front of me when I'm only 6' tall. feel like you could give a touch of extra legroom for times like when you want something out of your bag crammed below the seat and you have to jar your neck sideways to reach it and try not to be in your neighbors lap while doing it."
Nadelen: "I have pictures and video of how dirty the plane was from the air vent all the way to the floor so disgusting do you guys ever clean the planes"

Voordelen: "They let people get on with oversize bags when sequence 4&5 get on there's no room left"
Voordelen: "Pretzels is not enough I pay a lot to travel"
Nadelen: "The fact that it hasn't left yet and it won't leave until 8pm."
Nadelen: "I required a wheelchair from gate to gate, on each gate I had to ask for it a few times, regardless that it said so in the computer. On one departure i bearly made as we ran really late. United reps seems kind of moody. Waiting for so eone to pick me up last minute made for a really stressful trip."
Voordelen: "The service was outstanding. There was a lot of space between the seats. A lot of movies to choose and the best part you don't have to pay for it. Nothing like other airlines. This is the best by far!"

Nadelen: "It was an older plane and was not as comfortable. I found the staff on my side especially to be unprofessional and curt in their responses. One lady was chewing gum the second half of the trip. I also found their drink cart was not stocked properly and they would have to ask across the isle during all three drink services as opposed to prepping their cart."

Nadelen: "The only snack available was a mix that had dairy. Other airlines, like JetBlue not only have a selection from which to choose, but at least one option is vegan."
Voordelen: "The entire boarding process went much smoother than we imagined it would."
Nadelen: "I'm large and the space between seats borders on frighteningly claustrophobic."
Voordelen: "You guys are awesome. Thank you for cheap tickets you provide to us all the time. Keep it up."
