Auto huren Salt Lake City

Voordelen: The location closed at 9:30pm so I could not get my car.

Nadelen: Letting me know they closed st 9:40pm and having the Avis counter help me.

Nadelen: Alarming oil burning smell from car. Also not equipped with proper snow tires as required by law in Utah.

Voordelen: I flew into Salt Lake City , Utah . They would not rent to me ! Why you ask ? Because I’m from Utah ! Let me repeat that , I’m from UTAH ! If you don’t have a airline return ticket , they figure you will steal the car. That’s what the clerk told me . Makes sense right ?

Nadelen: How about renting to everyone regardless of State. Thanks for ruining my plans ! Everyone else was sold out on cars. I had to get an Uber , it cost me 8 times more.

Nadelen: When I picked up My car the representative constantly try to sell me on an upgraded car mentioning it at least three times that I would need a 4 wheel drive. When I asked to return the car because I was unhappy with it he again try to sell me on 4 wheel drive car.

I got ripped off

Voordelen: Car was fine but we only drove it 31 miles.they told me the car would be $50 a day and when I returned it.

Nadelen: When we brought the car back 30 hours later and after only 31 miles the bill was $267. They told me then it was $50 for an upgrade not the rate for the car. This is not what they told us when we rented. Then the Avis manager Jordyn came out and looked at the invoice and said we were mistakenly billed for three days and adjusted the invoice down to $182. I told him it was a $50 a day rental so it needed to come down another $82. He said he had to talk to the sales agent and would call me the next day. Never heard from him and I even sent him an email and received no reply. Jordyn was awful and rude and did no follow-up. I will never rent a car from Avis or Payless again and I am contacting top management at Avis about my awful experience.
