Voordelen: "Excellent hospitality I asked for a cup of coffee at an odd time, the attendant went out of his way to brew fresh pot and served me, instead of just saying "Sorry sir, we don't have any coffee at this time....""

Nadelen: "They run out of options because I was sitting at the tail of the aircraft. So I didn't eat much."

Nadelen: "Food service seemed a bit rushed. The cart came by to retrieve trays and I wasn’t finished yet."

Voordelen: "Food was great as was the selection of movies available. The seat was comfortable and had enough leg room."
Nadelen: "Lines was confusing and the various boarding tiers were not announced properly (Delta One, Sky Priority, and Zone 1 were all together and Zone 2 started boarding way before the priority lane was finished)."

Voordelen: "On the fight back I had enough space; good service; fine food. Great trip. On the way to Amsterdam, I sat next to a very overweight woman and her body hung over my seat. I couldn't move around enough and I ended up with a trigger point problem which immobilized me for 3 days and kept me from sleeping at night. It was very disappointing, since this was a family visit trip."

Nadelen: "-Boarding by zone wasn't carried out. Everybody, other than first/business class, stood in one long line for over an hour. -Quality of food should be improved. Please stop serving starchy wraps. And let the hot tea be hot, not lukewarm. - Please no popsicles for adult passengers. Please serve ice cream in cups."

Voordelen: "Since I wasn't allowed on the flight because another leg caused us to arrive with only an hour to board, I can't tell you anything that was enjoyable."
Nadelen: "The KLM representative was COMPLETELY unhelpful. She basically told us we were screwed and to go away. We spent hours on the phone at great cost to us (international pay phone charges) to be bounced for one rep to another. We were finally told we could get in a plane home Sunday, please to be transferred, starting the process over from the beginning. It was TERRIBLE, beginning to end!"

Voordelen: "The flight attendants was very rude & keep harassing me about my emotional support dog, I was a real animal hater, the complaint is to long to list here, never experienced such a rude flight attendant in all my years of flying , I filed a official complaint with delta."

Nadelen: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Nadelen: "I ordered food for my son and they had no record so he had some snacks only during a 10 hour flight. The cabin temperature was freezing, everyone was shivering but despite requests it stayed cold."

Voordelen: "I love the overwhelming positivity exuded by the stallions in business class. Sometimes good things happen to mediocre coffee, others not so lucky!"
Nadelen: "The guy next to me looked like Joel Osteen and his daughter was actually Cardi B. I could feel the existential dread coming from their tray tables. Also, Lemon and Caramel cheesecake? What an awful flavor combination."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "When we booked our flight my wife and I were together, but when we printed our tickets we were is separate seats. This happened to half of the plane."

Nadelen: "After a two hour delay at the gate and runway, our flight was canceled due to a mechanical malfunction. After we disembarked we stood in line for over an hour to rebook for the next days flight home. Before making to the booking desk we were then sent to the KLM customer service desk where we were told we would get a hotel voucher and an airline over night kit and NO access to our luggage. After waiting in this line for another hour and a half we received our voucher and were told to catch a shuttle to our hotel and another hour wait for the standing room only, half our bus ride to a hotel. After five and a half hours we made to the hotel. The experience was awful and seemed like Delta/KLM had never dealt with a flight cancelation before. The entire process needs improvement and so many levels— one can't help feeling that the airlines just don't care about the customer experience."

Voordelen: "Last minute flight (booked 4 hours before departure), one way, economy, for €99 from Amsterdam to Edinburgh via Gatwick. Long layover at Gatwick (around 3 hours), but I had much work to do anyway, so time went faster than I realised. Not sure if this was the case at Schiphol, but at Gatwick had priority security queue as a BA customer."

Voordelen: "Flight was on time. Snacks and beverages available all time."
Nadelen: "Flight was operated by American Airlines. Aircraft was insanely old, with no personal entertainment system, but only a few overhead monitors for all passengers, which played OLD movies. That is unbelievable and unacceptable in 2018. Seats pitch was pretty small and I even had to fly on a broken seat that would not recline, for a 11 hours flight. The most uncomfortable flight I have ever flew. If that wasn't enough to make the experience the worst possible, flight attendance was rude! I strongly suggest to avoid American Airlines at all cost."

Voordelen: "I love it the most that they are so helpful with excess baggage Which is why I always book with BA I am an entertainer working for many different cruise lines BA does not rob you blind if you have extra baggage Or your bags are slightly heavier ! Delta recently charged me $ 285 per extra bag Coming back BA charged me $90 and allowed me two bags The new policy on many airlines to literally rob a customer Is disgusting and the govt authorities should put a stop To it BA is welcoming and always professional !"
Nadelen: "Airline food is often risky to eat and The variety is poor especially if you are vegan"

Nadelen: "I don't get no dinner on the flight from Miami to London Heathrow and I felt faint from hunger on board. When I complain to one of the flight crew ,we one hour and forty five minutes left to land,she gave me a pretzel bunch and a cup of tea."

Nadelen: "Terminal 5 in Heathrow can require a lot of walking."

Voordelen: "Did a good job of being attentive to passengers"

Nadelen: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

Voordelen: "British Airways was very accommodating. I enjoyed the journey."

Nadelen: "BA lounge useless for wifi, food non existent only rubbish to eat. Would not allow hot food to be brought into lounge! Information about flight details very vague."

Nadelen: "Could not watch movies due to the audio was not working in a few rows and I was sitting in one."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were courteous and friendly. Boarding was easy."
Nadelen: "The designer of the business class seats used by British Aiways is surely an acrobat who flies no longer that's two hours. And those at British Aiways who bought into this design probably don't fly at all. Passengers who are sitting in a window seat must literally walk over the passenger in the aisle seat in order to get to the aisle. Flight attendants must serve the passengers on window seats right over those sitting in the aisles. The seats are narrow, and if you're sitting in the aisle, you don't even have a space to put your bottle of water or reading glasses. I can go on and on. This is my last flight on British if I can manage."

Voordelen: "Got me from Amsterdam to Gatwick."
Nadelen: "Passengers were allowed to bring too much luggage on board. Seriously hindered boarding process. Attendants had to do lots of reshuffling which, along with a mechanical malfunction, delayed the flight and caused a lot of on board disruption."

Voordelen: "amazing accommodations and comfort with everything accessible for technology great staff, kosher means as i requested were on point, arrived late totally my fault, to both departing and arriving flights and they really did an amazing job making sure i get on the flight, international"

Nadelen: "It took ages for the crew to organise everyone to load their hand luggage. It caused an hour delay, which is unacceptable. They need to come up with a system to improve this experience."

Voordelen: "Only scraped a two as was enough movies to watch."

Nadelen: "Weer door security checkpoint te moeten en dat de vertrek aan de andere kant van het vliegceld was."

Nadelen: "I thought the crew on my outbound flight was pretty rude, and the entertainment selection could be better"

Nadelen: "Seat assignments kept disappearing It took 45 minutes at check-in to get seat assignments once again for the third time for my flight segments These people shouldn't be allowed to fly planes"

Voordelen: "Everything about the flight itself was great, I had no problems whatsoever with the crew or my comfort."
Nadelen: "What I was most upset about was once I landed in London, I had a 8-hour layover, which I knew about. However, what I did not know was that because my flight did not land until 11pm, I had to wait for the bus until 5am. I was stuck in a cold, bus terminal by myself for 6 hours. No one was around to tell me that the bus didn't begin running until 5am and I had no where else to wait except in a cold waiting area with nothing to do but wait. It was the most unpleasant experience I have had."

Nadelen: "Many passengers like us had selected their seats when checking in but when we got our boarding pass, everyone got random seats assigned. Thankfully some people missed the flight and there were open seats but it would have been nice if the seating assignments had been honored by the airline."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was very good, crew was very attentive and genuinely concerned for everyone's comfort and safety."
Nadelen: "the airport check in was terrible, the worst I have experienced in many years. Even after checking in online prior to arriving at the airport it took 45 minutes of standing in line to "drop a bag". The flight was delayed by 3 hours, 2 hours of which were spent in the plane, on the tarmac - unavoidable because of problems at Heathrow, and very understandable."

Voordelen: "With an hour and a half delay, seats with no legroom and old movies this was a bad flight."

Voordelen: "Great selection of movies and entertainment"
Nadelen: "Flight attendants were very disorganized, did not answer calls and were not on time to serve the passengers. The snack just before arriving was served 30 min late and they were rushing to clean up; they finished just in time before touchdown. I heard one saying "we're landing in 1.5 hours while serving the snack and the flight tracker showed about 50 min. They even dropped an empty can from the trash bag on me and not a single apology."

Nadelen: "The AA bag check did not recognize that British Ariways allows for a free bag. It took some time to convince the AA bag desk that we did not need to pay for our bag."

Nadelen: "Crowded and hot just like Miami"

Nadelen: "Lav could have been cleaner. Boarding area at airport is small and crowded for all airlines. Stairs to aircraft instead of ramps."

Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"

Voordelen: "I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Voordelen: "Trip overall was great until getting baggage at baggage claim."
Nadelen: "We waited 1 hr or more for our baggage to arrive at baggage claim and no one from AA told us anything until about 50 minutes into our wait that there was a weather delay so baggage crew couldn't work in the conditions. When we landed, the weather was fine so no one knew! Many people missed connections or had to run through the airport by time they got their bags. Better communication would have been easy to do to keep us informed."

Voordelen: "Overhead storage was generous. Being able to check flight progress while in the air."
Nadelen: "They charged us for two aisle seats, and then reassigned one of us to a middle seat with no notice. With advance notice, they were unable to provide a meal that would not contain bell peppers, to which I am allergic. On the plane, both meal options contained bell peppers. Surprisingly, the ingredient lists were not available to flight attendants or passengers, and we were only aware of their presence because of seeing them, or having my allergic reaction (which I did) after avoiding the visible ones. The passenger in front of me put his seat in full recline for the entire 10 hour flight, including about 30 minutes when the seat was unoccupied. This put his seat about six inches in front of my chin and made it impossible for me to view the entertainment screen. It also made it difficult to get into and out of my seat. Several of the toilets had clear fluid covering the floor. I did not want to know is this was water or something else. Although our connecting flight in Miami went from gate E21 to gate E30, it took two hours (and 3,000 steps per FitBit) to get there because of being required to claim our luggage, leave security, recheck the bags, and then re-enter security. Our tickets did not provide for TSA-PRE despite having provided our known traveler number in advance. Many notices and directions were only available in Spanish. As they are based in a Spanish speaking country, this is perfectly reasonable, but their services are marketed to English speaking countries and it was a problem for me as a predominantly English-only speaker."

Voordelen: "Never happened. Missed because of security. Have no idea where our luggage is. Everybody gives us a different story"

Nadelen: "Iberia allows kids to abuse other passengers. I asked a flight attendant to stop this abuse after I was bumped in head a number of times by a kid that was jumping across a row a seats in front of mine ,the flight attendant told me that I should tolerate this abuse because it was from a kid,then proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to go throughout this abuse ,I should fly in a private plane. I felt irate at such response from a flight attendant and responded that I will never fly Iberia again. I wanted the attendant to talk to the parents and ask them to control their kid from abusing the adjacent passengers.I felt the impulse to talk to the crew chief but decided against it simply because I would do them a favor if they listened. Truthfully I think carriers with such attitudes deserve to go bankrupt and I hope they do."

Voordelen: "our flight was late into MAD but they held our connecting flight to MIA, so we could make it."
Nadelen: "The crew was not good at all. there was no water service, one had to go to the kitchen and beg for water. in particular the male crew was not happy to help with anything. the snack before landing was served 45 mins before arrival so everything had to be rushed. Crew soiled a half empty can of soda on me, and didn't even apologize. Our luggage missed the flight to MIA and we were told it would be delivered to our house the next day between 7pm and 8pm. it never showed. I called customer service and they could not tell me anything. Horrible experience"

Nadelen: "Madrid to Tampa... Got the nursery. Lots of crying babies... must be immigrating to the US. Why don't they put all people with babies at the rear so the rest of us can nap? Not IB's fault, the customs at Miami came to a halt for an hour. 2000 people standing in line, missing connections. There was a shift change, most employees didn't show up for work. was told 'It's a special day'. Fortunately I was at the head of the line. A few of us were routed to someone who was surprised to see US citizens. As a consequence, the always slow MIA failed to transfer my luggage. Still waiting for it... Air travel is such a pain these days. I'm sure more would fly if it wasn't such a hassle."

Nadelen: "Start boarding with the last row, not the 1st row - so people settling into the 1st rows do not hold up the people trying to reach the higher rows."

Nadelen: "No pudimos volar a Miami nuestro destino final,porque al llamar a Iberia desde Venecia(horas antes que saliera nuestro vuelo),para informales que por llegar a bordo de un crecuro y no permitrisele a este entrar al puerto por motivos de la neblina,no llegariamos a tiempo a nuetro 1er vuelo con ellos,y nos dijeron que perdiamos la posibilidad de tomar este segundo al otro dia,17 horas despues,donde solo nos ofrecieron la posiibilidad de otro para 3 dias despues y a un precio demasiado alto,nos sentiemos muy poco ayudados y muy disgustados con esta aeorolinea."

Voordelen: "I got a connection in Madrid to my destination, but the previous flight was delayed about 30 minutes. I got in the airport about 15 min before the gate closed. The gate that i arrived to my connection flight was around 26 min away. I have a condition on my leg and i cannot run, so i walked really fast through the airport and I was so happy to see that they were waiting for my delayed flight... which is very unusual. Thank you!!!!"

Nadelen: "The main food serving was OK. The light serving was not. It was a thin slice of turkey ham inside a piece of bread. Also no small snacks available during the flight. The WiFi is a great idea however it did not work for me. It is a good thing I only paid for the 4.99 euro option."

Voordelen: "Upon boarding the flight attendant looked at my seat # and directed to to the correct side of the aircraft. I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."

Voordelen: "The team in both Rome and Madrid to went above and beyond. They were polite and empathetic to our situation, which was not Iberias fault. And they went out of their way to get us home on time. They always stayed positive. My family of 6 really appreciated. They have earned our loyalty."

Voordelen: "747 has smaller cabins so even economy doesn't feel like cattle class."
Nadelen: "Standard food choices poor, chicken ran out after 5 rows. Mushroom risotto unrecognizable. Worth paying for an upgraded meal. Drinks service woeful, only 1 or 2 at seat services on 9.5 hour flight."

Voordelen: "Fin Air was good. We phone them and the agent tried to get us seats on our portion Madrid back to Miami, but at the end we had to get them at the airport. The link sent to our email did not work. At the end we got seats together, the lady at IB check in counter was really very nice."
Nadelen: "Not be able to get seats in advance with IB. From Miami to Madrid, it was no problem at all. AA assigned our seats a month in advance."

Voordelen: "Again, fantastic, professional, courteous and very helpful crew. Great take off and landing by excellent pilots"

Voordelen: "Multiple beverage services and some occasional snacks. (The flatbread pizza was really good and we had ice cream at one point). They had a big celebration coming into Miami for the pilot who was on his last flight before retirement. I thought it was nice to share that with info with the people on the plane in both English and Italian."
Nadelen: "Very old plane. Shared movies. Could not see most of the time because of people in aisles. The beef with mashed potatoes was so salty that it was inedible. No USB. We had 4 beverage services over 10 hour flight. I had can of bloody mary mix, an orange juice and 2 glasses of ginger ale. When I ordered that second cup of ginger ale (a cup mind you....not cans), the flight steward told me that I drink a lot of ginger ale and that its bad for me and that I should drink something else."

Nadelen: "Not enough leg room and the food wasn't desirable"

Voordelen: "The main meal served was really great plane wasn't full so there was a lot of room volume goes super loud on TV, which is GREAT! served ice cream!"
Nadelen: "no vegetarian option for the second meal served TV was VERY glitch and cut out at important moments in not one but three of the movies. Very limited selection"

Nadelen: "Shared TV screens, minimal leg room in emergency exit. No wifi, old plane."

Nadelen: "Our tickets were economy class Y for all of our flights, and we each checked a bag free on the outbound trip. But, returning we had to pay 170 euros for our 2 checked (1 each) bags. TAP (Air Portugal) in Toulouse said our outbound flights were "Basic" fares while our return flights were "Discounted" fares. Discounted fares do not include checked bags while Basic fares include 1 free checked bag. We paid $3,106.36 for the round trip for both of us, which hardly seems like a discounted fare, before paying an additional 170 euros on the return flight. I will be looking into filing a Class Action suit trying to recover all overcharges on behalf of all passengers."

Voordelen: "The planes were fantastic, wish all other airlines provided the same amenities. There was ample leg room (even in the economy peasant class), there were innovative changes in the pullout tray, beverage holder, convenience of charging devices, a mirror, specific pockets for books/glass cases/snacks. And a very comfortable headrest which made snoozing easier."
Nadelen: "Contacting TAP Customer Service was a nightmare. It took forever before anyone answered the phone &, when they did, it was VERY difficult to understand their English. Forget reaching ANYONE after 9 pm; ditto for trying to do anything online, e.g., checking in, picking seats, modifying reservations, etc. If you are forced to do anything at night, prepare yourself for total frustration."

Nadelen: "No cnn or fox news in English"

Voordelen: "The staff"
Nadelen: "Late takeoff. Late arrival. Had to run thru the terminal to catch the next leg. Lost luggage."

Nadelen: "If you are seating at the end of the plane they never have the 2 choice of meal and you are force to eat whatever is left, it happens more than once, seem to be the practice and is not fair to the costumer"

Voordelen: "We had comfort seats and I liked that because of the space you have, 2 simple meals and they served water in between the meals I will fly TAP again"
Nadelen: "Entertainment is okay, poor sound, and the quality of the screen was so so,"

Nadelen: "Inbound flight - flight got canceled from Budapest - after calling the airline and waiting in the line the 2 first lady I was talking to put me on hold and never got back to me, the 3rd lady had no idea why the flight got canceled except it was for emergency. She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

Furthermore the business practice to charge you for any luggage $ 90 at airport without prior notice during the booking process is quite unpleasant and uncommon for transatlantic flights. Would be good that airline as well as internet travel agent would advice about this additional costs in a more transparent way before you purchase the ticket"

Nadelen: "When I booked the ticker online I was informed that I can take up to 23kg luggage, but when I checked in, I had to pay over $120 per person for luggage...I was very disappointed with th ideas treatment"

Nadelen: "The Lisbon airport is very difficult to navigate; signage is poor, and there are not enough staff on the ground. The waiting lines for TAP check-in are outrageous. TAP policy states they allow choosing a seat starting 36 hours of departure, but the poorly designed website let me book seats, and then asked me to pay; at the airport they also told me I had to pay on check-in to choose a seat. Worst of all, at the gate, the waiting area forces all passengers to wait while standing in a big herd - an hour - while police spot check random passenger carry-ons and perform body checks."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Nadelen: "Turbulence was pretty bad, but I can't fault the airline for that. Food was typical plane food, but they did cancel the second meal due to turbulence. At the end of a 9 hour flight I was starving by the time we landed. Constant updates over the loud speaker by the pilot and stewardess got annoying; felt like every 20-30 minutes and saying the same thing, and saying it in 3 different laugages."

Voordelen: "The attention was great, cordial and polite, was right on time, the movies current and good, I enjoyed the food too.i will fly TAP again for sure."

Voordelen: "Only a ten minute delay but made up for it in the air and arrived on time."

Nadelen: "The food was not very good (my husband tried one and I tried the other and neither were very good). The afternoon snack was much better. On the entertainment, we weren't able to select what we wanted to watch at any time like other planes. You simply chose the channel which was showing something of the airlines's selection."
