Nadelen: Lead crew memnber, on intercom, was shouting about duty-free and scratch tickets incessantly at the top of her lungs. Of course this is standard Ryanair fare, but with the volume at inhumane levels. Late boarding. Charging for everything imaginable and beyond. All Brexiteer fellow passengers, gross.

We then tried to use the faster entry on non priority to get into the lounge and were sent back to the priority queue. families with kids weren't given the option of getting on first. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of space for bags.

Nadelen: The crew had no control over rowdy/drunk passengers. A shame as young children present. Not one request to calm down and refrain from shouting and swearing. Very uncomfortable and intimidating flight. Will not fly Ryanair again

Voordelen: Flight was cheap, boarding was quick and the whole experience was about that of your average Ryanair flight! Got a chance to speak to the captain of the flight in the cockpit after landing, had a quick chat about the aircraft as well as my own PPL lessons which start next Sunday.

Nadelen: Couldn't change the flight from10pm to 10am same day. Didn't expect a refund for the flight, but also Couldn't get a refund on ANY of the EXTRAS I'd booked for checked bags, preferred seating or early boarding. The were rude on the phone after waiting 3 hours on chat to talk with them. Will never fly with them again.

Nadelen: Checking in was torture. It was the airline version of "The Trial" with a Dutch Twist (no one in charge). Luckily (?) the plane turned out to be 45 minutes late, so the eternity it took to have the rookie who finally showed up to look blankly at her computer screen, apprently hoping it would receive Divine instructions on how to work her way through the ONE PERSON in line in front of us, in order to stamp our pre-printed boarding passes did not cause us to miss the last flight of the day from Amsterdam to Dublin. Now lets talk about the torture device that Ryanair uses as a passenger seat. . .

Nadelen: It was already delayed and then the crew let on a very obvious drunk group of men. They were drinking by the gate and spilling beer everywhere. Big shocker that one of them started vomiting on the Tarmac so we had to go back to the gate and get him off. Ended up being delayed 2 hours.

Nadelen: No free drink. The flight was delayed by 15 minutes, and the board didn't update on boarding time until the plane got there. First time flying ryanair, so I didn't want to leave to get a drink. Ended up paying a few euro's because I was so thirsty on the flight.

Nadelen: Not very happy with Aer Lingus’s ground crew or customer service or the way they run things. And Dublin airport is an unorganized mess. Probably will never fly with them again. Gave no concessions for canceling my flight out to Amsterdam.

Nadelen: We just returned home to New York from our trip to Amsterdam and Ireland. The trip itself was amazing despite the sub par customer service we received from Aer Lingus that definitely put a damper on our vacation. Our flight on Wed July 19th from NYC to Amsterdam went off without a hitch until we claimed our luggage, my brand new suitcase was covered with stains. Very disappointing but we went on to enjoy our time in Amsterdam. The real problems began when we flew from Amsterdam to Dublin, first we were seated all over the plane and worst of all when we arrived my husband's bag was lost. We went to customer service and completed the paper work. Everything my husband had for the trip was in that bag. Aer Lingus only texted him once and after that he had to call every day to check the status of his bag. Instead of exploring Dublin, we had to spend Sunday shopping to get him clothes for the trip. No word from Aer Lingus. Monday morning July 24 he calls to find the status of his bag. It was found in Amsterdam and was to be flown to Dublin and shipped to our next stop in Kinsale. We arrived Monday evening to find that the bag had not been shipped. Again no word from Aer Lingus. My husband called to find out the status and made arrangements to pick the bag up when we were flying back to NYC. We were happy the bag was found but my husband still was without all of his belongings for our entire trip. On Thursday July 27 we arrived at the airport early to retrieve the bag before we checked in to our flight. We were dismayed to find that there was not a person to talk to but a phone on a column to call to get help retrieving the luggage. There was a queue at the phone with people ahead of us in similar situations. Finally someone came out to escort my husband to get his bag. We were traveling with our son, and again our seats were scattered about the plane. There was no one at checkin to help us, and we didn't get help at the gate. So we had to sit separately for the 6 hour and 30 minute flight. When we claimed our bags, my bag now had tears along with the stains. This was a brand new suitcase and it is now ruined. My husband says he will never fly Aer Lingus again and this was the worst customer service he has had in his life. The customer service was virtually non existent.

She clearly resents her job. 2) The plane itself was very old and not well maintained. The audio jack for the in-flight entertainment was broken and I could not watch anything. My wife complained about the touch screens being faulty and her audio system was bad. Also, the carpet and seat fabric was torn. 3) The food was disgusting. I mean, really bad. 4) There was a charge for alcohol whereas British Airways was complimentary. 5) Overall, I will never fly Aer Lingus again. It was the worst flying experience in memory.

Because I missed my connecting flight, they had to reroute me through Boston and then to San Francisco. I paid extra for an upgraded seat and they still sat me in a middle seat. To componsate for the 8 and a half hour delay and two brutal flights, they gave me a meal voucher for 8 Euros. I won't be flying Aer Lingus anytime soon. Of the three flights that I had with them this trip, two were severely delayed. I'm exhausted!

Nadelen: I was told while boarding I had to give up a small carry-on ("because there was no room"). I travel every month and NEVER have had to give up that item. It was awkward and difficult to sort out the stuff I had to take out of the bag for security sake. When I got on board the bins overhead in my area - I took a picture - were empty. I am disgusted by this treatment and the lying of the RyanAir Amsterdam ground staff. Unacceptable. These people should be penalised.

Nadelen: Service was awful, employees were beyond rude and had no idea what they were talking about. We were assured by 2 different people we would be on time after we were told to go all over the place, paid 200 USD to check our bags only to be told at the gate that we couldn't board. THEN we were told we couldn't get our money back or our luggage until after the girl went on lunch break at 11:30am. She clearly just didn't want to deal with us. We watched her just sit there and do nothing because apparently it was her 1.5 hour break. We ended up flying with a different airline because our experience with Ryan Air was so bad. NEVER AGAIN

Voordelen: Lost piece of luggage to start with. An Aer Lingus agent in A'dam, where we started our journey, insisted we could not take a not oversized small suitcase w expensive photo equipment on board. She labeled the suitcase to Boston while we were boarding = (very confusing as per your representative in Dublin who told us she should have labeled it to Dublin), American custom in Dublin asked us to identify our luggage and this piece was on their computer but NOTHING showed up in Boston nor at our final destination in TPA. Name Lylem Maria AH, 9 074 KL 936816, filed a report in Boston and TPA but nothing yet.

Nadelen: Food very mediocre, old plane, entertainment system not working well in my chair, not sure or I wil fly again w your airline, will probably use Delta again= bit more expensive but would rate them "good".

I tried to contacted the Aer Lingus but their contact office was at oversea (not in Madrid). It cost me so much $$$ to make international phone call to locate my luggage. But, still without success...

Nadelen: Showed up after checking in on their app. They said I wasn't checked in. Had to go to customer service. Play 15 euros to reprint my boarding pass. Then went back to the bag counter and they said I still hadn't checked in. Showed receipt and they took my bags. They pre board which means you stand there waiting for you plane for 40 mins. Then anything you want snacks or drinks they charge you for.

Nadelen: I did an online check-in the day before flight and chose to allow the airline to choose my seat so I could save a bit of money. I had a connecting flight and had 1 hour layover when arriving in Amsterdam to get to my gate for flight to Dublin. I did not have boarding passes and was told I could get them at the Gate since I checked in online. Got to the gate, they said there was no record of me checking in online, so I would have to pay €50 per person (my husband and I) in order to get on the flight. I needed to get to Dublin so I handed over the money, then was told I couldn't not get on the flight and had to be rebooked for a flight 4 hours later. I then had to go to the ticketing desk where I was told my only option was to pay a fee of €200 (€100 per person) in order to rebook my flight. All in all I am very upset with how everything happened, I am out a ton of money. The original cost for both tickets was €87, and I paid an additional €200 on top of that just to get where I needed to go, on my questionable acts on behalf of the airline.

Nadelen: Not very happy with Aer Lingus’s ground crew or customer service or the way they run things. And Dublin airport is an unorganized mess. Probably will never fly with them again. Gave no concessions for canceling my flight out to Amsterdam.

Nadelen: 1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired.

Voordelen: The staff were so, so helpful and made sure we were all as comfortable as possible. I liked all the snacks and drinks and the no charge for checked bags. (A big help after a long trip and short on $!) And the best part? They dealt with U.S customs before we left Dublin so that we didn't have to deal with the long lines in Boston. So grateful!!!

Nadelen: My entertainment screen froze every time I tried to play a game, had to reset a few times before I gave up.

She labeled the suitcase to Boston while we were boarding = (very confusing as per your representative in Dublin who told us she should have labeled it to Dublin), American custom in Dublin asked us to identify our luggage and this piece was on their computer but NOTHING showed up in Boston nor at our final destination in TPA. Nadelen: Food very mediocre, old plane, entertainment system not working well in my chair, not sure or I wil fly again w your airline, will probably use Delta again= bit more expensive but would rate them "good".

Nadelen: Everything very disorganized. Ryanair had no official office or representatives in the Amsterdam airport. Flight was mildly late. Crew was curt. Not even water was available without paying for it. Then the flight attendants came through on several tours up and down the isle, with a series of things to buy. Felt like we were in an Arab bazaar. Worst, the internet would not allow us to confirm our flight, despite repeated attempts. So they charged us 45 Euros each for confirming the flight at the airport. No one to talk to in Amsterdam about it. When we got to Dublin we were sent several different places to try to get our money back. Finally had to stand in a 20 minute line to discuss it, and we were told to email them. The entire thing was a miserable experience. Will never fly Ryanair again.

Voordelen: I was comfortable as far as temperature and smoothness of flight. I was surprised to have tasty food and two meals!

Nadelen: I was really uncomfortable with no leg room. The woman in front of me really hurt my knee when she let her seat back crash into my knee ( I had to lift my leg with my hands and try to fit my foot down in a tiny space in order to cross my legs. Trying to get up to get out of the seat was extremely awkward. The worst experience was online booking. It was difficult to understand and impossible to change my seat. I even called.
