Nadelen: The seats are insanely small, cramped, and narrow, but that's why they call it TranSAVIA. I can live with a small seat for a much cheaper flight. The horror was getting to the gate. This is Greece, so no quick checkin, long lines, not really sure which is the right line. Then they change the gate at the last minute. Really the worst terminal I have been in for a long time, and this includes those in China and India. Even worst than La Guardia at rock bottom. But then you are in Crete... But DO allow at LEAST two hours to check in.
Voordelen: Lost cost, I suppose you get what you pay for.
Nadelen: Very slow to clear the waste cups and litter away. Only one run of drinks service. Very slow to get off the plane at Rotterdam, had to wait for geriatrics and disabled to get off the plane first and took forever.

Nadelen: I ordered a flight and a suitcase through the kayak website. I arrived at the airport saying that I had not ordered it. They take a high price at an airport on a suitcase

Nadelen: The flight was cancelled without firther notifications. I called UIF office 7 times and finally one of the reps was able to give me full information and reschedule my flight with other airlanes. In the airport I saw a bunch of people who came for their flight... which was cancelled. I received email about cancellation after I spoke with UIF reps. Never will reccomend or use this airline again

Nadelen: The customs process takes too long to make domestic flights in time. I ended up missing my connection to Antayla because the customs line was too long, so I was re-booked for a later flight departing 7+ hours later. I think in the future kayak needs to ensure at least 2 hours for a connecting flight

Nadelen: Delayed 16 hours and counting. 300 passengers brought to a hotel and given little to no information. Only 2 egyptair staff members for all 300+ passengers.

Nadelen: Gates were changed without notice, had to go through security twice because of that, no signs at the gate or announcement about the gate change, rude personnel at boarding, trying to make you check in your bag even when it is within carry on limits

Nadelen: The airport bus took us twice from the gate to the the plane. I tried to understand, no idea why the bus did that. The departure obviously was late.

Nadelen: My luggage was moved from the overhead compartment to another compartment much further from where I was seated. I was not informed of this and was not aware. I had to wait for all the passengers to leave while the cabin crew searched for the back. This was most unpleasant and stressful.

Nadelen: Some seats had damaged entertainment equipment. One seat had a damaged USB charging port. We just used the one from the next seat. Another had a damaged remote control for the entertainment system. Still usable via touch though.

Voordelen: The airline still runs like a well-oiled machine. Everything is efficient and staff are courteous. Flights are on time and reliable. DXB airport is easy to navigate. New on-board headphones design is an improvement.
Nadelen: Cost saving cuts are evident around every corner. No more night mask, flight socks and toothbrush. No more hot lemon towel upon boarding (only towards end of flight). Food tray is smaller and more compact than before, turns Dinner into a game of Tetris (although, not a fun 'game'). Flights aboard A380 are much more comfortable than in Boeing 777.
Nadelen: I wasn’t aware that there is a ticket with only 15kg baggage allowance - thank God I was taken to the airport by a relative and could leave some stuff with them. Of course, I should’ve checked - but I didn’t know there was an option below 23 kg. You’re never done with learning l

Nadelen: Dubai - Cebu leg. They managed to lose my suitcase and my understanding is that was done since the flight was full. I would appreciate if they didn't leave my suitcase in Dubai.

Nadelen: No wheel chair was provided for my husband and the crew did nothing to get us one. I have complained to the Singapore office and airport no too. My struggled all the way to the taxi stand. As it is he is already an asthma patient. I met the crew at the immigration and they walked away.

Nadelen: To find a way to enforce people to only put their baggage in the compartments above their own seats. If i choose a front-row seat, I find that other passengers have filled the compartment despite sitting nowhere near the front. Given that you pay the most money for front-row/extra leg room seats...

Voordelen: Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep.
Nadelen: I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly.
