Nadelen: Flight got delayed in Xiamen, miss the connecting flight to chongqing.
Voordelen: Almost nothing, this was a terrible flight and experience! The movies were good, that's about it.
Nadelen: No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.
Nadelen: the transit in Xiamen after my flight from Hong Kong it was 7 hours I have stay in xi amen. The promotion and/or advertisement saying that I have eight hotel for me to rest in Xiamen or a city tour. After I arrived there.all of those was saying nothing provided today. all I can have is leading me to a lough where just seats, tables for passenger to sit there. provided tea, water, Chinese made coke with natural temperature no ice . just sit there for 7 hours to wait for my connection flight to LAX

Nadelen: This was a discount garbage carrier. I have ridden on cargo boats off the coast of Nicaragua that I would recommend before Xiamen. They don’t give you your connecting boarding pass when you leave the country. You have to go through China’s bullshit customs service three times just to get to your next flight. Chinese customs is like a bowl full of retarted fish smelling their own farts. Six people doing nothing while one blithering idiot Stubles through paperwork.
Voordelen: I paid $14.95 to have a seat selection before departure however, my seat was given is in the middle not the roadside seat I prefer either karak to refund all seat selection charges.

Voordelen: Customer service on point. Great food, comfortable seats. Availability of 2 check in bags is helpful for those who traveling for a longer time.

Nadelen: The crew was not very attentive compared to other times I have flown business class. Not very solicitous in terms of offering water regularly, etc. Also, surprisingly little food offered over a 14 hour flight from Shanghai to New York. A reasonable dinner at midnight, shortly after takeoff, then nothing till almost 12 hours later, and then not the hearty breakfast one would expect after that much time and on business class but a very small snack. Not very satisfying.
Voordelen: This flight was shorter but i felt flight attendants were still very attentive.
Nadelen: Didn’t have individual screens to watch movies. One movie didn’t have English subtitles. Not that i cared because I was in and out of sleep, just pointing it out.
Nadelen: boarding was slightly confusing, but flight was super-full and many other travelers were rude while waiting. also - wifi did not appear to work at all, and directions were not useful
Voordelen: It was cheap, had a pretty good selection of movies, was able to choose my seat.
Nadelen: The food was pretty mediocre, staff was pretty stingy with drinks, ran out of drink choices, not that comfortable seats for a 15 hour flight, most of the staff was pretty rude to non Chinese customers. You get what you pay for.
Nadelen: My 2 bags haven't arrived from Sunday 6 January till now (10 January) and all my winter clothes plus other important things are in it. I check every day with lufthansa call center but still no progress.
Voordelen: The crew was nice and the movie selection was decent. Food was ok. As good as it can be when you pay $2,500 for a flight ticket knowing that they are not really there to offer you a service, they are there to make their own money knowing that as a traveler you really have no options other than an airplane if you want to go across the ocean.
Nadelen: Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?

Nadelen: Boarding began 25 min after the indicated time. Huge crowd of people (big Airbus 330) was standing in the corridor in some kind of disorganized manner. Priority entrance was open, but then another 20-25 min in the closed waiting area, some kind of hoarder. Only then the mixture of all passengers was let through the sleeve to the plane. Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights.
Voordelen: Clean less of the plane
Nadelen: Entertainment system did not work at all
Nadelen: I was not allowed to board the flight and made to wait for 4 hours at the Paris airport. This is extremely disheartening and frustrating to say the least. I would want to rescedhule my upcoming flight to avoid such inconvenience.
Voordelen: The staff was great, helpful and polite. Seating was fantastic, exit row with our children together in front of us.
Nadelen: We already had printed out tickets but it took over an hour and twenty minutes to check out bag. Additionally the flights departure was delayed by 25 minutes.
Voordelen: There was room available.
Nadelen: This was not business class!
Voordelen: Well, I got to my destination. We were bussed from a maintenance area to the arriving terminal. That was about 15 minutes of ride time. Then we waited a long time for our luggage since it was not actually at the terminal either.
Nadelen: Not much

Nadelen: Disorganized confusing boarding process, tight seats in coach.
Voordelen: I liked the explanation given by the pilot when we finally got our seats on the plane. Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset.
Nadelen: The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!

Voordelen: Really liked the new touch screens (with very good responsiveness). Also liked the food selection (the champagne was nice, so was the menu we were given).

Voordelen: I did like Flying with Delta and Air France but not with Ukrainian airlines (when booking , it should tell you what airlines will be used , to make a better selection )
Nadelen: When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !

Nadelen: Hostesses are worse and worse. Forget everything you say. You repeat 5 times. All announcements are made so loudly and 3 times (Russian, English, Spanish). Everyone must wake up. It roars so loadly you can’t hide even in headphones. Late for 30 minutes, which is norm for the company. Then you for the luggage for more than 30 minutes. Worst in Europe.
Nadelen: Delayed for hours. Missed connecting flight. They rebooked for a flight half a day later. Horrible!

Nadelen: the flight was lite more than 30 minutes. Economy class - you have to pay for the meal? Are they Low Cost Company or ? If so, just tell us like that. Prices are among the highest in the region and all you get is a glass of water and a small bag of snacks.

Nadelen: Excessive baggage charges (40-60 euro each way per bag), so buy the ticket that includes the baggage

Nadelen: Food options listed on menu were not available. Breakfast was served so late that crew said not enough time to make/serve hot coffee or tea. During flight no crew ever came around to offer more water or liquid between meals. TV was in German with no instructions on how to change language to English. Bathrooms were not kept clean. Also, when boarding at the HK airport, after disabled and families, everyone was asked to board at the same time which resulted in one very long line of several hundred people.

Nadelen: At the check in they made me pay 50€ for my luggage. This is really upsetting because from Houston to Venice they didn't make me pay. Either the website wasn't transparent or the lady at the desk made a mistake. Very upsetting, one luggage should be included.
Nadelen: I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it.

Nadelen: It is hard to believe that embarking/disembarking a plane from an European capital to another is still done by bus in the year 2019. Moreover the security check in Warsaw was painfully slow and I almost missed my conection to Toronto.

Nadelen: Boarding et WAW was 30 min.deleyd,additional waiting and deicing was one hour so we departed at 18.50 instead 26.50.Aircraft instead of Boeing 787 was barowed Airbus 433 from Airitalia-much les comfortable plane.
Voordelen: Everything, from boarding to departure, the service is excellent! The staff was attentive and very welcoming. Spending a few hours reminded me why I fell in love with SK in the first place.

Seats are too tight and tiny, very uncomfortable, staff not interacting or smiling, food was disgusting and tasteless, the aircraft seemed old and was so incredibly noisy the whole trip, and the ventilation was too bad the smell was just old and rusty.

Nadelen: You cannot book seats in advance which is fine but one would expect that if you have 3 seats on one reservation, you would at least be seated together - nope 3 window seats all over the plane. Boarding was delayed for no reason. Bags took (no exaggeration) about 1.5 hours to come. And it is a hot mess with no carts
Voordelen: I was not put on the plane because they said my seat did not existed! I had purchased my ticket 3 months prior to departure and they said I did not have a seat on the plane due to overbooking. They clearly gave my seat away to someone else and this is not acceptable.
Nadelen: Ethiad was not helpful at all and did not provide any same day help. They’re customer service was absolutely terrible.

Voordelen: the headphone was so great that i was away from the noise, and i do had a good sleep on the plane.

Voordelen: Honestly the turbulence really did not make this an enjoyable ride. I actually could not wait for us to late. It was rather petrifying.

Voordelen: We have now been on both TAIWAN based carriers in the past six months. CI aircraft interiors were more visually appealing- I remember BR being too dark...
Nadelen: The temperature fluctuations of the aircraft. This is really for all airlines, usually too hot upon boarding & too cold 3hrs in... Also, no coach class amenity kit. I think BR gave us "sleeping" face masks for a similar length trip...

Nadelen: The aircraft seemed to be really old. The entertainment system on the seat I was allotted did not work, and I had to change seats. In the new seat, the entertainment system worked, but the seat didn't recline, and I had to change seats again - from an initially allotted aisle seat, to a middle seat. Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?
