This flight had been scheduled for weeks; I would think they could plan the arrival time to be the ACTUAL arrival time."

On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

We were finally told we could get in a plane home Sunday, please to be transferred, starting the process over from the beginning. It was TERRIBLE, beginning to end!"

Nadelen: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "We were arbitrarily re-seated due to equipment changes, back and forth and lost our original seat selection even though we wound up on a plane with the original configuration. An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section."

Voordelen: "Food was best in a long time. Steak salad was excellent, as was the little chocolate mousse."

Nadelen: "The lines at TSA! Alng with hundreds of other people, we missed our connecting flight. I was ashamed to see such an awful mess in the US. It was like entering a third world country run by incompetents."

Voordelen: "We got almost an absurd amount of food and drink on the flight, which was great. A meal, two snacks, a bottle of water, and several passes of the drink cart. The flight staff were all great, the entertainment options were plentiful. Really just a great flight."
Nadelen: "The Amsterdam airport was ludicrous. We were making a connection and had to go through four different levels of security. Our 1hr45minute layover was completely taken up just waiting in random lines to have someone look at our passports, or ask us to pull up our full flight itinerary email (teh boarding pass was not enough for her....). I appreciate the security attempts but it was really over the top, and the staff had no idea what they were doing (were bad at directing people to the right place or explaining what they needed). Note that NONE of this was the fault of Delta or KLM, completely teh airport."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats, pleasant crew, excellent entertainment, all good great but burrito snack."

Nadelen: "This flight was on a Transavia codeshare with Delta and a real downer after coming from a Delta One business class segment. An uncontrolled mass boarding, crammed in seating, no amenities and charges for a drink of water made this a pretty crappy flight. The crew was nice though."

Voordelen: "Helpful crew, more food than usual, entertainment system and choices."
Nadelen: "Didn't get meal request even though we did on flight to Europe and despite phone agent working to generate and verifying them before both flights."

Voordelen: "When I finally got on a flight (see what I didn't like), the crew was very helpful and the flight was comfortable."
Nadelen: "When I checked in online, I received boarding passes for the first two legs of the trip, but was told to see a gate agent in Amsterdam for the boarding pass for that flight. It turns out that there was a problem, attributed by one of the KLM staff that I talked with to "a communication problem between Delta and KLM." As a result, I was finally given a stand-by boarding pass. Since the flight was full, I was denied boarding. After hours of trying to figure this out, the KLM staff put me on a flight for the next day and organized a stay at an airport hotel. The KLM staff were very nice, but it seemed to take a very long time to figure this out. They also failed to note that the denial of boarding in the records, which caused a problem in my return flight. The upshot: I missed a follow-on flight to Budapest and had to pay a huge rebooking fee for that missed flight. I also missed a day of my vacation."

Nadelen: "As usual, a small space on a full flight. Pretty uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Lots of seat space even in economy, I felt very comfortable and not cramped on my flight. Food was decent and flight attendants were very attentive. My flight was kind of an outlier experience as someone on my flight fell very ill and needed immediate medical attention. The KLM employees on board did a very good job of taking care of the situation and making sure everyone else on board still had a calm flight experience."
Nadelen: "My connecting flight was scheduled too close to my landing time."

Voordelen: "I was upgraded to business class since my flight was overbooked and I had to miss my original flight"
Nadelen: "Security for traveling to US is a very time consuming with long lines and in my mind useless process which does not make me feel any more secure - just wasting time and resources."

Voordelen: "Delta fed us so well. They made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The flight attendants were nothing short of kind and always smiling. Even the pilot was very ethusiastic over the intercom before the flight. He made jokes and everyone laughed. In fact, it was the most I've ever heard from a pilot on any flight in my life. I would rate this the best flight I've ever had. Thanks, Delta!"

I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Actually the Welcome on board announcement. The part where they special welcome loyalty program members. I do not get that... I am an explorer holder my self, but really?? so other paying customers are not as welcome. This is leftovers from the older days.."

Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Nadelen: "Lang wachten bij de incheck"

Voordelen: "We vertrokken vanuit Tapei 10 minuten voor plan. We kwamen bijna 3 keartier voor schema aan."
Nadelen: "Omdat Economy Comfort vol zat (een maand van te voren), een exit roe geboekt. Wel veel beenruimte, maar in de breedte echt te krap voor een vlucht van 12 uur."

Voordelen: "De reis verliep voorspoedig. Diner en ontbijt waren redelijk."
Nadelen: "Film aanbod was aan de magere kant."

Nadelen: "Op papier was het een KLM vlucht. Maar tijdens inchecken werd het een Jet Airways vlucht. Alle privileges als platinum frequent flyer was direct weg. Geen voorrang bij inchecken, geen voorrang bij handbaggage check,."

Voordelen: "Cops is always a good reason to flight"
Nadelen: "They always change the gates, also too many disorders in the gate previous the boarding process, the process it is not clean. They took hand baggage aleatory to send to down and do not ask if we have fragile stuffs there."

Voordelen: "The gentleman at the check out his name was Omar went over and above the call of duty for Customer Service me being an American he walked me through each step of using flybe via air France and paying for checking my bags and even the carry on luggage and getting me through security etc."

Voordelen: "The crew was excellent and surprisingly the seats were comfortable."
Nadelen: "I think more attention should be paid to cleaning the plane and eeek, there was no liqueur in economy class. Music selection in entertainment should be wider too"

Voordelen: "Not much, seats are super uncomfortable"
Nadelen: "Better code sharing with KLM"

Nadelen: "the tray was broken and the water felt all over. the flight was 1 hr delayed. All of us stood the 1 hr waiting to know what's next. We could sit."

Nadelen: "Geen wifi voor 9 uur"

Nadelen: "Train your ground crew. Our luggage was not placed on our flight from Paris to Amsterdam and were sent to Amsterdam on separate planes. My husband’s medication was in his bag. This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Nadelen: "Placed in last row w/ non-reclining seats, even though bought tix 7 months early. We travel w/ only carry-on bags. AF allows 35 kg each but only 12 kg in cabin. I asked, online, twice, if we could have a couple of extra kg for hand pieces. Rec’d only auto. luggage policy. Forced to check both bags."

Voordelen: "The cue lines per zone are a brilliant idea!"
Nadelen: "An explanation to passengers as to why there was a backup between the gate and the plane."

Voordelen: "The crew was pleasant and boarding efficient I lucked out with first class"

Nadelen: "More water provided during the flight. Also, the second meal was not very good."

Nadelen: "Lost my luggage."

Nadelen: "Poor service. Terrible food. Aging aircraft. Terrible in-flight entertainment system. Really not good AirFrance."

Nadelen: "Plane seemed a little worn, which surprised me since it was an A380. Not that old. I had purchased an upgrade to a seat with more legroom, only to find out there was no USB plug for charging my phone. All standard seats have them. Would have been nice to be warned about that."

Nadelen: "Up to 1 hour late and they leaved my baggage in Paris"

Nadelen: "The food was cold. We were served about 40 minutes after most of the plane got their food. The overhead compartments kept opening by themselves through out the flight. Food was horrible."

Nadelen: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Voordelen: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"
Nadelen: "Nothing."

Voordelen: "Direct flight from Indy to CDG is great. The plane was not so full, so I hope business improves so we can keep it going. Very smooth flight, with good and friendly crew."

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Voordelen: "Average"
Nadelen: "I leave my jacket in the hanger when I get off the airplane I realized that they didn’t gave it to me. I inmeadiatly tey to go back but I couldn’t I went to the counter and they said that there was noting on the plane !"

Voordelen: "The stewardesses were extremely kind and helpful to me as I was travelling alone with my toddler. I really appreciated their help and kindness."

Nadelen: "Vlucht door vertraging van uit lax gemist op een paar minuten"

Voordelen: "Arriving safely."
Nadelen: "We didn't get boarding passes for the second flight at EDI so we had to exit the secure area, get boarding passes, and go through security a second time for the same trip."

Nadelen: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Voordelen: "Very poor sound quality on the earphones. Made it very difficult to watch a movie and almost impossible to listen to music."

Voordelen: "Nothing special"
Nadelen: "They start serving late the apperitif before taking off and take it back right after."

Voordelen: "All was good we didn’t feel the time 9 hours passed easily"

Nadelen: "Very cramped. Poor leg room also with.metal bars under seats that further. Limited foot room. Terrible options in movies."

Voordelen: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Nadelen: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Nadelen: "The crew was not very polite."

Voordelen: "Food, drinks, and general service on board were all very nice"
Nadelen: "Airport experience at cdg was atrocious. Took more than an hour to check in and it was a complete zoo."

Nadelen: "bad smell around my seat"

Voordelen: "The food was good, the staff was very friendly and very nice,"
Nadelen: "The seat configuration in economy is unacceptable, the leg room is terrible and overall a very uncomfortable flight of more than 7 hours"

Nadelen: "Seats are uncomfortable and absolutely no shoulder room when squashed in the middle seat"

Voordelen: "For the most part the staff made an attempt to help me get onto a flight. I think."
Nadelen: "I had to go on my trip a few days later due to a work conflict. I never changed my itinerary because I didn’t think it mattered. I bought a new one way ticket on a different airline and went to get on my return flight that I had paid for and was still receiving emails about. I got to the airport to check in for my return flight and it had been canceled because I didn’t get on the first leg. I was never notified and they couldn’t get me on the flight I wanted because it was leaving in less than hour(which is a stupid rule). And to get me on a flight the next day would cost $2500. No thanks. And before anyone tells me that it’s in the fine print that they cancel a flight if you don’t show up, save it. We all know people don’t read all that. Be a human being. So if your plans change, make sure you officially change your plans, because they may go above, but probably not beyond. Oh and it took quite a long time for them to figure out what happened. If they had realized and I didn’t spend so much time on the phone with customer service, I might’ve been outside the hour window requirement."

Nadelen: "Plane sat on rinway in Newark. For 4 hours before takeoff with no explanation provided. I miissed my connection to Dubrovnik. I was flown from munich to frankfurt and then to zagreb. I was put up in a very low class hotel. I aarived in dubrovnik at noon the following day. This caused me great anxiety and aggravation and a losd of a full day of vacation."

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht van Honolulu naar LA in moderne Boeing 737-900 van alle gemakken voorzien."

Voordelen: "nicest flight attendants and very friendly, thoughtful service. thanks for a great flight!"

Nadelen: "Entertainment Did not work properly."

Voordelen: "The flight crew was phenomenal!"

Nadelen: "there weren't any movie options. the crew put on three or four movies that started and ended at their own designated time."

Voordelen: "I like the crew. They were very friendly and great."
Nadelen: "The entertainment was terrible. On the way to Amsterdam, it was an old TV that had a few channels that looped the same thing over and over again. On the way back to Washington, DC, the TV didn't work."

Nadelen: "there was no in-flight entertainment for the duration of the flight."

Voordelen: "Eventually they moved us through realizing they were going to have an empty plane if they didn't"
Nadelen: "Terrible check in. Thought I reserved a seat on Lufthansa only to find out that United changed it."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and even fun"
Nadelen: "My seat did not recline at all. I believe it was broken."

Voordelen: "The crew was very attentive and the service was above and beyond. Boarding was timely. The entertainment choices were top notch and as it was an overnight flight, the care taken to be respectful of sleeping passengers was great."

Voordelen: "The flight left on time."
Nadelen: "One flight attendant was very grumpy--he just wanted to sit and play on his phone. He was brusque with people. The other man (who was learning French) made up for him by being nice"

Voordelen: "The first leg of this flight was excellent. Good crew, excellent service, great entertainment centers, comfortable seating, enough room in aisle to allow movement. The second leg of our journey ( From D.C. to Seattle) was another story."

Voordelen: "the United app that let me watch movies from my own device. The flight attendant gave me an extra blanket."
Nadelen: "the plane was very old and didn't have the entertainment options that newer planes have. The screen was so small and nearly impossible to see when the person in front of me reclined. The toilets weren't very clean. The food was very mediocre. I have a dairy intolerance, and both options contained dairy products. There was no lactose free or diabetic special meal option. There was an hour and a half delay to repair something on the plane when we made an emergency medical landing in Boston. I didn't mind the landing; I minded the excessive delay and wonder what would have happened if we didn't stop in Boston? What would have happened to the plan?"

Voordelen: "Price!"

Voordelen: "On broading support was outstanding. As this was our first international trip we appreaciated all the help provided. The food was excellent as well as comp drinks."
Nadelen: "Could not see outside the plane. Maybe camera pointing below the airplane and its signal feed into the television channel.."

Voordelen: "I liked the equipment, very comfortable. The actual entertainment was alright, but it would be better to have the movies start when one is ready, and not on a fixed schedule. Plenty of bathrooms."
Nadelen: "We were quite shocked that we couldn't check in on-line. We spent literally hours, even brought a computer with us on a day-trip so we would be the regular 24 hrs before. Then tat also changed to 23 hours, then we were denied completely. This is very old-fashioned and really unacceptable. Why???"

Voordelen: "Boarding was a bit crowded and hectic. The food was good as was the service. We had tons of entertainment options."
Nadelen: "Checking in in Amsterdam was a nightmare. Long lines everywhere. They can't handle the volume of passengers efficiently"

Voordelen: "The flight landed early."
Nadelen: "United Priority Gold Status were placed in Group 2 boarding?!"

Voordelen: "The fact that we had two checked bags at no cost as well as the communication of the airline crew and also the choice of entertainment which even included HBO and Showtime."

Voordelen: "The crew were very friendly and helpful!"
Nadelen: "It took WAY too long to check bags."

Nadelen: "Well, first of all, it was operated by United. It wasn't even a Lufthansa flight. Also, there was no power outlets in economy. What year is this again??? And no touchscreen to choose what movie I want to watch?? Get with the times, United"

Nadelen: "on a 5,5 hour flight only drinks and no food, NOT OKEY - entertanment only with pay??? this is a step backwords...."

Voordelen: "Food was not great. Not enough recline in economy to really get any rest."

Nadelen: "Cabin and seats were dirty, crumbs all over seat. Overhead bin doors kept popping open during flight. Landibg was bumpy, overhead bins opened and luggage fell out, piece of paneling/molding fell off and landed on me. Flight crew just picked it up and stuck it back on. Plane looks like it needs to be retired."

Voordelen: "I liked the staff and comfort the most"
Nadelen: "I mean is not anybodys fault but its lame that now everything has to be paid, from entertainment to food and all of that!"

Voordelen: "Overall the flight was good."
Nadelen: "I was a little disappointed when I discovered the weight limit for carry one was so much more restrictive than other major carriers. The seats did not feel as comfortable on the Liftansa flight as the United flight."

Voordelen: "Everything was smooth including the flight itself. Would definitely fly with United again."

Voordelen: "My flight was smooth, the boarding was handled quite efficiently. The sandwich offered was very tasty."
Nadelen: "I thought the the new release movies offered should have been much more recent box office hits."

Nadelen: "I paid for the Premium Economy upgrade but they don't tell you that even though you have more leg room, the window seat has a big silver box through half of your leg room space. The seats also had these tiny tv screens for entertainment. I bought the flight through Lufthansa & it was a United plane. Wish it was Lufthansa."

Voordelen: "The flight was good, no delays and we made good time. I was glad that the fasten seat belt sign wasn't on the entire flight."
Nadelen: "I spent 9 hours without in-seat entertainment because the system was broken. I had to follow up with the crew several times and no one ever checked with me to see if I was satisfied."

Nadelen: "It was an older plane and was not as comfortable. I found the staff on my side especially to be unprofessional and curt in their responses. One lady was chewing gum the second half of the trip. I also found their drink cart was not stocked properly and they would have to ask across the isle during all three drink services as opposed to prepping their cart."

Nadelen: "we had a 3 hours delay"

Nadelen: "I will never fly with your airline! My luggage is damaged, the flight was terrible at informing people about gate change, the food was not edible, do I need to continue. I just wont fly with your company."

Voordelen: "The food the free alcoholic drinks it was a short flight from Panama city to Quito but they gave you all the free drinks you wanted and a nice meal in like an hr flight, stewardesses were great as well top customer service, live copa, no entertainment but that's OK on a short flight"
Nadelen: "nothing, likes everything quick flight drinks pretty stewardesses, all my airline dreams fulfilled"

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "It was a United flight in a extremely old plane with horrible customer service."

Voordelen: "Wonderful cabin crew"
Nadelen: "No entertainment unless you downloaded an app in advance, and then, for people who had, only over USA, and after you pay for united wifi. That's poor"

Nadelen: "The pilots were late which cost us our departure so that we ran into restrictions based on weather. Thus we missed our connection in Panama City. United should ensure pilots are on time."

Voordelen: "The flight was delayed because the incoming overnight flight was late. But not a big deal. Crew was good. My family of 4 pickcked this flight because it was cheaper than the United Code for the same flight. I bought these tickets with my United Mileage Plus card and avoided any bag fees."
Nadelen: "Was stuck in the last row because I was not able to navigate the check in process with the Kayak purchase. Flight was bumpy at times I think due to headwinds. Food options could be better. I chose the chicken but was not told it was curry chicken. My family told me the pasta was inedible."

Voordelen: "Worst flight ever. I wont bother letting you know how you ruined my day. Youre turning air travel a joke. The only thing mastered by you is security procedures. In the name of 20+ party we were, united is the worst ever and next time we will pay extra for a decent airline."

Waarom zijn prijzen niet 100% van de tijd accuraat?
Prijzen voor zitplaatsen in het vliegtuig, hotelkamers en huurauto's kunnen frequent wijzigen. Meerdere personen kunnen ook op hetzelfde moment een zelfde reisoptie proberen aan te schaffen. Dit heeft als gevolg dat het soms voorkomt dat bepaalde prijzen niet langer meer beschikbaar zijn.
