Nadelen: "Screen is slow and outdated. Easy upgrade from one class to another."

Voordelen: "Great staff!"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "Movie app required, but not compatible with laptop. Seats were worn. Could not complete work tasks as no internet available."

Nadelen: "Space was tight."

Voordelen: "Everything went very smoothly with this flight. It boarded on time. The crew were all very friendly. I enjoyed the entertainment selections and found a tv show that I had been wanting to see. I managed to watch 2 episodes and look forward to watching more of the same show on my flight back. I ended up having the 2 seats to myself which was great. Extra legroom. I have no complaints at all."

Voordelen: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Nadelen: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"

Voordelen: "Friendly welcome onto the plane. Lots a of over head bag storage space. Fair movie selection. Comfortable and short dlight from YVR to YYZ."
Nadelen: "There's never anything that looks that appetizing on the menu for the those prices. I brought my own food onto the flight."

Nadelen: "serious delays and the staff were not very friendly. Weren't willing to go above and beyond for travellers that had been sitting in airports all day! Probably one of the poorest crews i have encountered on Air Canada."

Voordelen: "Nothing specific to the airline- I just liked the 9 hour flight trine instead of the 10-13 that I’ve been on to reach other parts of Asia l."
Nadelen: "I had a total of 4 Air Canada flights- various staff members on all flights were rude and uninviting. It’s not like my husband and I aided for anything when they were serving; they all seemed to be noted to hand you a beverage from their cart! Food was horrible- stereotypical airplane food and such a disappointment compared to some of the other flights with other airlines I’ve taken to various parts of Asia. Also, who charges for alchohol on an international flight?! They also don’t have entertainment systems on their flights- you need to download their app before take off so you have access to 5 crappy movies. Seriously, pay $100 more and go with someone else."

Voordelen: "The usual smooth short flight"
Nadelen: "Boarding could be better organized - staff should make sur only the people in the zones called are in line. Not everyone from all zones. The zones 3-5 line isn't helpful. They should change it to "boarding" and indicate only thsoe called to board should be there. Otherwise, they need separate lines for EACH Zone."

Voordelen: "considering all the delays, both in delay in leaving Amsterdam and holding pattern due to thunderstorms in Toronto all went well in a very long day."

Voordelen: "At least the entertainment systems worked this time."
Nadelen: "I've never thought that airplane food was bad before, but they ran out of the main options and I was left with macaroni and cheese. It was bad."

Nadelen: "Crew was rude to me."

Voordelen: "Niets"
Nadelen: "Oncomfortabele stoelen, Inflight entertainment werkte slecht"

Voordelen: "Great airline for food and service."
Nadelen: "For couples traveling in business Air Canada's seating is designed to de-couple by placing barriers between seats . They need to try Emerites to check out how a pod should work Entertainment is limited"

Nadelen: "They lost our luggage not only on the way to our destination but also on the way home both times in Toronto"

Nadelen: "Many of us were refused boarding on the connecting flight. They gave away our seats. I arrived at the transvfer counter50 minutes prior to the flight. I was first. Gave excuse that bag must go with me. Customs confirmed that this is AC not customs. To add insult, they flight to Montreal was late, the flight to Boston was late, and finally my bag NEVER was on either flight so there excuse was an out right lie. I missed half the weekend home in over a month. AC doesn't value my time and I don't value their service. Every time I go back to this airline I realized why I left. Going to Asia; don't get suckered into using this route. BTW a friend on PVG-YUL-BOS never made it as well. AC still using a CRJ200 that can't land in weather. NOT A BUSINESS CLASS EXPERIENCE."

Nadelen: "I would like to see planes getting boarded from the back to the front. That way there are less people holding up traffic and you are not bumping someone who is already seated as you are going by."

Voordelen: "Crew was very friendly"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed but only for an hour"

Voordelen: "Great crew and helpers on the ground too! Loved the entertainment too! :)"

Voordelen: "Great crew and on schedule."
Nadelen: "One of the better flights I have taken no complaints."

Nadelen: "An international flight, yet no food, and had to purchase beverages and ear buds."

Voordelen: "The entertainment"
Nadelen: "Having to pay to have a bit of extra comfor while traveling with a 14 months old"

Voordelen: "Flight was on time.service good ."
Nadelen: "Flight attended was not great .Too much walking in the terminal."

Nadelen: "The lavatory sink was clogged. The audio to movies was inaudible, as though the picture was streaming and the audio was lost. The crew offered little assistance to a clearly frail elderly passenger who had a very difficult time rising from her seat and using the lavatory."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed 2 1/2 hours, plane A/C not working. Waited for another plane. They tried to fix the first plane but they just delayed getting another plane."

Voordelen: "We checked in online and were able to very quickly and efficiently check our bags and board."
Nadelen: "We did not have in flight entertainment. We had to pay $10 to rent an iPad."

Nadelen: "flight was booked as Lufthansa, but Lufthansa would not allow seat selection and air Canada would not recognize Lufthansa booking code, so we were stuck in middle seats for 8 hr & 5 hr flights on third section we in in very back of plane even though there were better seats available"

Voordelen: "Entertainment on this flight was comparatively better than the flight we took from LAX to Toronto...Snacks was also better on this flight than the LAX to Toronto flight which really confuses me as to why?"
Nadelen: "The wait time though for our flight was 6 hours and there were 2 or 3 other earlier flights to LAX that day.."

Voordelen: "Everything was ok."

Voordelen: "Fast boarding and unboarding"
Nadelen: "I needed to change my flight and Air Canads charged me $300! They said thy had some 'peak days' fee (August) and a 'weekend' fee, which covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 3 day weekend??! Come on, what a scam. Just charge me the flat change fee not all these bullshit greedy add-ons."

Voordelen: "The food was really good. I was kind of shocked but each meal or snack I had was delicious and I especially liked that I could pre order special food according to my diet. The staff was friendly and the entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "the music channels were lame. I was bummed we did not have wifi in the plane and so I couldn't listen to good music the whole flight"

Nadelen: "Flight got cancelled then accommodations were extremely unorganized."

Voordelen: "It was average with everything."

Voordelen: "Seat, pillow and blanket were clean. Flight arrived on time, luggage was intact and there were no issues boarding or de-boarding."
Nadelen: "Booked 4 months in advance - flew solo. Only window seat left was at the very back, near where the crew prepared everything. The entire flight was spent listening to them prepare meals, discuss their trip itinerary, shifts and how Air Canada treats them, as employees, so poorly. The crew were very short with most passengers and it seemed over staffed."

Nadelen: "3 mechanical problems. Two missed flights. 16 hours late. Lost luggage. The crew sent us at wrong place, we were stuck in a room until 6:30 am. We had to sleep on chairs. Everything that could go bad went bad. Will never ever fly with Air Canada again. That is a promise."

Nadelen: "Air Canada lost my luggage, customer service was very vague and unhelpful, did not get my bag back for almost a week."

Nadelen: "the seats were very uncomfortable and didn't recline"

Voordelen: "Flights on time and cabin crew pleasant."
Nadelen: "Where do I begin? I flew round trip SFO to Glasgow via Toronto , a route I do frequently. Usually use British Airways, but tried AC this time. Very unimpressed! Transatlantic portion of journey worse, food and entertainment awful!"

Voordelen: "Our flight was delayed about an hour and a half because of earlier delays in the day and the ground crew and pilot kept us fully informed of the situations as they evolved. Because of the timely updates I did not hear one person complain in my earshot range. Apart from the delay the service was great, as always."

Nadelen: "They could have rushed more to get us off the ground quicker."

Voordelen: "Upgrade to premium economy with more legroom. Free movies. Good movie selection. Free checked luggage!"
Nadelen: "Check-in process at Denver counter rather slow. Gate information at Denver very confusing due to changes and lateness in displaying/announcing information."

Nadelen: "Ran out of salmon for meal"

Voordelen: "Crew was respectable and the food was good."
Nadelen: "The policy of having to check-in in order to have a seat is ridiculous and borderline racketeering. If one pays for a flight, they should get the ticket they paid for. It should not be based on whether they check-in because Air Canada wants to make more money on selling their seat because they didn't check-in. This is unacceptable. Since it's a company policy, my wife and I would enforce our own policy in response: we will choose not to fly Air Canada again."

Voordelen: "Plane, (bathrooms) very clean, and crew was exceptional. Ample food and drinks were supplied. I also had more room this trip in Economy class, as one seat next to me was empty."
Nadelen: "For Economy accommodations, this flight was good, no complaints."

Voordelen: "Friendly and professional staff"
Nadelen: "Entertainment system is crappy and looks like it's from the 1990's. It needs a serious overhaul. I reserved windows seats and showed up to check and had been placed in the middle."

Voordelen: "boarding was quick, organized."
Nadelen: "my in-seat personal tv was broken. If there hadn't been other empty seats, I would have had to sit with no IFE the whole flight."

Voordelen: "I got to where I was going."
Nadelen: "Air Canada acts like a European low fare airline when it is actually just a major domestic carrier that nickels and dimes for everything and charges full cost."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and multi-lingual. The food was fine and beverages were frequently offered. I live in Michigan, but flights from Windsor (via Toronto) to Europe are much less expensive, so well worth the drive over the border."
Nadelen: "This airline only allows for one free checked bag when flying internationally. The checked bag size is stringent (but at least travelers are notified about that several times when booking and paying on line. The movie options are limited, but still enough variety to find something to watch."
