Voordelen: The crew was nice and the movie selection was decent. Food was ok. As good as it can be when you pay $2,500 for a flight ticket knowing that they are not really there to offer you a service, they are there to make their own money knowing that as a traveler you really have no options other than an airplane if you want to go across the ocean.
Nadelen: The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?
Voordelen: Cabin crew were very nice, boarding was quick and efficient.
Nadelen: Plane was extremely cold, the heating only worked after the engines were started.

Nadelen: Toronto airport disappointing. We arrived one hour esrly, but the gate the toronto airport told us to go to was broken so we had to wait for over one hour on the plane. Then the plane was moved aside and we walked to the bus that drove us to the airport. No luggage information given airport Toronto
Voordelen: The crew remained polite and we were given a bottle of water each during at 2.5 hour delay.
Nadelen: We had a two and half hour delay on an evening flight on a Sunday from WAW to Paris. This was during the UNFCCC COP24 when there was extra heavy international traffic through Warsaw. It was not clear why the plane was delayed for so long. It meant in the end that we got to Paris after midnight when the RER train had stopped running and the airport was functionally closed. This meant instead of a train ticket, rather a 55 euro taxi to get home. This was an expensive delay.
Voordelen: clean planes, timely service, nice flight attendants
Nadelen: no power outlets narrow selection of juices/water on the plane
Voordelen: Boarding was ok in Dublin, even though they habitually use one of the poor gates with inadequate seating and entry to the plane from the tarmac, not via a bridge. queing and check in were well managed however.
Nadelen: Disembarked at Helsinki unto a bus. Despite landing roughly on time, this antiquated procedure effectively made the flight 20 mins late, as that’s when the passengers got to the terminal.
Nadelen: Original departure time: 08:50- Estimated departure time 10:20. Actual departure time: 11:00.
Voordelen: The crew was helpful and polite, food was good
Nadelen: Would have preferred to watch one comedy movie. The crazy rich Asians was on a lighter side of a movie but I had seen that one already.
Voordelen: Leg room, friendly crew, good choices for entertainment, nice blankets!
Nadelen: The flight was delayed for an hour, but the transfer in Helsinki was easy, I made it to the connect flight just in time for boarding
Voordelen: The wafer bar. Pilot had a good landing in high winds and snow.

Voordelen: Everything went very well! Boarding was easy, the flight was smooth with little turbulence, we arrived on time, the crew was friendly and attentive, the food was good!

Nadelen: I was switched seats against my will on board! Although i reserved the seat ahead of time when i got in i was pretty much forced to sit somewhere else. The staff handled the sitution in a very poor manner!

Voordelen: What i dislike:i was looking for a baggage option and what i understood i have 23 kg allowed in this flight.On my way back i had a logagge total 23kg as i was sure i was permited.On the registration i was told i have to pay 1890 griven it is about 100$ CAN.I looked again on my ticked ans didnt see any note about i have to pay online baggage service 24 hours before.I had nobody to leave this baggage in kiev and my mom paid all for me.I am very upsed because when i was doing check in online i was looking for a rules and regulationg about baggage and i wanted to do prepaid but what i understood it was included.So in airport i paid double than it was online.I need my money back! Nadelen: Bag drop at Gatwick airport was dreadful!! Only one desk for the whole flight to check baggage. I was in line for one hour!!!
Voordelen: Flight attendants were fast and polite and helpful, more room for feet than other airlines, free meals. Sandwich was good, dinner so so.
Nadelen: Flight delayed boarding by one hour (not weather related).
Nadelen: AC didn't work - it was like in a sauna

Voordelen: seats were full configurable, tray table very logical and space all felt useable.
Nadelen: the seats in business class as 1-2-1 seating. each seat has aisle access! flight was super smooth, seats comfortable, although the ‘2’ seas had no arm rest on the isle side. took a little getting used to. There was no overhead bin for the center “2” seas, had to share with the outer window occupants, but plenty of room. IFE was a huge screen with great programming. it looked like.a 16 or 18” screen. meal service was above average and wine selection was strong. featuring both old world and new.
Voordelen: We have now been on both TAIWAN based carriers in the past six months. CI aircraft interiors were more visually appealing- I remember BR being too dark...
Nadelen: The temperature fluctuations of the aircraft. This is really for all airlines, usually too hot upon boarding & too cold 3hrs in... Also, no coach class amenity kit. I think BR gave us "sleeping" face masks for a similar length trip...
Voordelen: All ran on time. Crew okay
Nadelen: Seat uncomfortable. Food awful. For such a long trip-impossible to be comfortable in economy.

Voordelen: We were a little delayed, so I read my book. Not for long though as I was really tired after my flight from Los Angeles. I fell asleep right after take-off and didn't wake until we landed. Best way to fly :-)
Nadelen: Very little legroom for a 6'1" guy. Would have liked a bit more space, but I guess I was too tired to let it bug me.

Voordelen: I did like Flying with Delta and Air France but not with Ukrainian airlines (when booking , it should tell you what airlines will be used , to make a better selection )
Nadelen: When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !
Voordelen: Very efficient boarding. We actually departed earlier and then landed in Barcelona 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Overall a very smooth experience.

Nadelen: I miss my flight because of short layover from Texas to Pensacola. Why I haven’t notified before 1:27 min would not be enough for custom process

Nadelen: We waited in the plane on the tarmac for 3-1/2 hours waiting for the plane to be de-iced before take-off. I understand that there is nothing Lufthansa can do about the weather, but they (or the Munich airport) need to have more de-icing machines. It is ridiculous to have to wait that long.
Nadelen: I didn't like, that our flight was delayed for an hour before Christmas Eve and Christmas. During this period you are waiting for everything going well. But I am happy, that it wasn't very long delay.
Nadelen: Plane left 3 hours late for a tire change? Missed connections and had to rent a car. Audio jack didn’t work on tv. Flight attendant was aware of time issues and were going to help me get off plane quick. They didn’t.. Also, why is the 787 so hot? Nice plane but needs air vents. Both times now it was sooo warm in the cabin.
Voordelen: Easy and fast to board and quick response with carry on luggage
Nadelen: The website check in doesn’t work quite well. You have to try a couple of times so it works
Nadelen: Boarding was late, "snack" was a small wafer. Flight crew hid behind a curtain for most of the flight.
Nadelen: one hour delete,missed connecting flight,arrived in Katowice 3 hours late,missed transportation to Ostrava.

Nadelen: The plane was small, it rattled and shook a lot and the size of the seats is ridiculous. The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS.

Voordelen: Short flight, no entertainment. They still offer free snacks on short flights, a plus, but it was an almost frozen cheese sandwich. A Little bag of pretzels would be better. The crew was very friendly.
Nadelen: Boarding is confusing. Bad lines, unorganized, and people pushing. They should probably come up with a better system.
Voordelen: Helsinki is a convenient connection to fly to the U.S. One of Finnair planes was damaged earlier in Chicago and they used AirItaly to operate this flight. I was traveling with a recent wrist fracture and I was lucky I had an empty seat next to me that allowed me to move my arm a lot to avoid swelling.
Nadelen: Our boarding was an hour and a half delayed
Voordelen: The flight was not crowded and that was a nice surprise for a transatlantic flight. Each passenger was offered a personal bottle of water upon boarding, cabin crew was very nice and professional. The flight was on time and we arrived at the airport of destination even ahead of time!
Nadelen: There was no soap in the toilet...
