No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

"ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

You have to go to different desks to verify passport (!) and pass additional security control where they don't let you carry in any tax free purchases you make at your originating airport although you never leave the transit area. Boarding is chaotic with no staging."

Nadelen: "Airline is always late with no layover time making journeys stressful. The food and drink is only available for pay. There is no entertainment. There is a small snack which has been expired cookies on all flights I’ve experienced, and the staff seems reluctant to provide it. Boarding involved making everyone wait standing up for more than twenty five minutes corralled into as corner."

Nadelen: "The process of check in was terrible could not do so on line at least in Berlin. It is possible elsewhere in the system. Long and slow line for check in and then long and slow line for passport control and security, but we survived it. Advice is arrive early, you will need the time."

Then the flight was delayed, almost missed my connection. Boarding and exiting the aircraft were zoos. Eminently unrepeatable."

Unfortunatley, there is no way for me to lookbthat information online. Even the gate agent wasn't able to look that informationmout, and told me it will be there. I simply had to go with 'belief' that my special meal would be there. They did not have any other options . The food they served was so unpalatable that I threw up. I threw up in a plastic bag, as opposed to a barf bag. I didnt have time to get it out from the seat pocket. When I called the flight attendant for assistsnce, she was so rude in pointing that I should have used the barf bag and not a plastic bag. Very unempathetic. They did not check on me after that. The flight was so hot, and too crammed. Old plane. The entertainment was unentertaining. I would never fly this airline again."

This is how they worked it...They try to board multiple flights off the same counters. You stand in line for 1 hour and no movement happens- literally!?Then, since the next flight is about to be delayed - they announce for you to stampede forward, to make your flight. Then the process actually begins and 20min later and some bureaucracy on extra luggage you get your pass. Then you run through passport control and security, exhausted and frustrated (as was everyone else). Etihad should instruct Serbian Airlines in which they invested, how a plane (s) are to be boarded. After all it's over 100 years since the first commercial flight took place, its not that much of a mystery any more:)"

Nadelen: "We couldn’t get on the flight. We arrived late because of an earlier flight but were at the ticket area before this flight even started boarding. Our boarding passes would not print at our departure location and I wasn’t able to check in online for it because it kept linking to the American Airlines website for checkin. We tried to print our boarding passes at the kiosks but it said we needed to seek assistance. We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."

Nadelen: "We were packed in like sardines. There were no plugs to charge devices."

Voordelen: "Doordat wij op het bovendeks zaten konden we meteen boarden. Vriendelijke purser die overal de tijd voor nam."
Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Nadelen: "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Nadelen: "They have a fare that does not charge for Regular Bags....we booked it unknown toy us assuming we each could take a regular bag for no charge....well we have ended up paying an extra 400+ pounds for our bags to go each way to Paris and it has ruined our first time to Paris. The fare online was foreign to us and deceitful being from the US in every way. No one could even work with us or was willing to make a decision but everyone seemed to agree while still charging. No more British Airways Deceipt!"

Voordelen: "The flight was very good. Friendly crew, and barely half full so room to spread out. No good or entertainment (just a pond-hopper to Paris)."
Nadelen: "We sat waiting for takeoff for 45+ minutes. I slept for most of that, but woke up to us taxiing for takeoff (instead of landing as I had expected)."

Nadelen: "Distances between terminal at Paris (CDG) gave me troubles for next flight."

Nadelen: "We booked online with a major travel booking site and got Much chaper seats than aa offered. However, they wouldnt assign us a seat until at the airport; what a hassle."

Voordelen: "I had extra leg room."
Nadelen: "The TV screen was in a stick and it had been used so much that if I didn't pull it forward all the way it would not stay up. Then when you try to put it down it hits the wall in front of you and doesn't tuck in."

Voordelen: "The flight was very short, and comfortable. I fell asleep 5minutes into the air and woke up 15minutes before landing; shortest flight I've taken yet."

Voordelen: "I made it to Paris and I guess that's what's important"
Nadelen: "You could offer small bottles of water as a courtesy Flight Attendants are definitely rude. Not to me, but I watched them interact with other passengers and they are just baseline.. rude."

Voordelen: "The crew was excellent and very professional, the flight was on time and the meal service was decent"
Nadelen: "The equipment was American Airlines and was seriously outdated, the ife was not on every seat and the seats themselves were horrible"

Nadelen: "It has been a week and British airways still hasn't delivered my suitcase."

Voordelen: "Good food Welcoming and friendly flight attendants Amazing selection of movies, TV shows, games Excellent customer service Comfy seats with ample legroom"
Nadelen: "My seat did not recline at all. When notifying the flight attendants during the meal/beverage service, they said they would note down my seat. However, nobody ever gave me any assurances that they would really inform maintenance to resolve the problem. Half way through the flight, my screen froze. Nothing would start it up again. After waking up hours later, I informed the flight attendant and she was able to reset/restart my screen individually. Everything worked perfectly afterwards"

Voordelen: "We appreciated the friendliness of the male Flighr Attendant during the boarding process."
Nadelen: "The landing announcement by the female Flight Attendant was inaudible (too close to the microphone?), and very uninspiring especially for tourists who were landing in wonderful Paris(!!!!!!!) from a 20-hour travel day. Wow."

Nadelen: "The flight took off and 30 minutes into the flight to Paris, we were returned to Chicago for an unexplained mechanical problem. After 5 hrs delay, the flight was cancelled. I had to run to another desk for help and was rebooked on an Air France flight but did not receive miles for either BA or AF. Completely unprofessional and chaotic. Miserable to say the least because I missed the wedding that I was flying to, the only reason I flew there!"

Nadelen: "There was no entertainment and that is a must on any transatlantic flight"

Nadelen: "British Airways didn't have my leg of this flight (London to Paris) as part of original checkin from Austin to London. As a result I stood in Customer relations line for 90 minutes, missed my flight, and was separated from other member in my travel party who didn't experience same problem and we were both on same booking confirmation"

Nadelen: "Lost my luggage and failed to deliver my luggage on time. I had to go out of my way to buy everything again."

Voordelen: "Food"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "My flight boarded easily,left on time."
Nadelen: "The food. Portions were made for a child. Nasty tasting. The ideal was throw gravy on it and it will taste alright. There's no effort at all. Asked stewardness. Twice for water and never got it."

Nadelen: "Flight was 2 hours delay leaving plaen was old and the seats were in rough shape"

Nadelen: "Flight delayed multiple hours. Sat on Tarmac for 2 hours. Baggage lost for two days. Worst experience flying ever."

Voordelen: "Saved 5 hours by being changed to a non-stop for the same fee."
Nadelen: "Working with Iberia to get accessible seating took ten irritating phone calls."

Nadelen: "booked British Airways, got American Airlines. I didnt want American airlines. I would have booked American Airlines if I wanted American airways. there was no indication that the flight would be operated by any other than British air until I got to the check counter at British airways, and they sent me to the excruciatingly long check in line for American."

Voordelen: "That it got to my destination, eventually."
Nadelen: "The co-flight wasn't made clear to me. This was an American Airlines flight as is my return. Beyond the brand and gate confusion that resulted from this, the flight was delayed a couple hours and the plane looked like it hadn't been refurbished since the 70s."

Voordelen: "The customer service people were very helpful after we missed our flight but it would have been better if they were proactive in helping passengers who had limited time to get to their transfer gates."
Nadelen: "Reactive rather than proactive staff ... They should have informed us of a fast track lane if there were any but too many were standing around not helping. But the system was terrible ... Maybe it was just that particular day."

Nadelen: "The seats have zero leg room, it was quite uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Good choice of entertainment."
Nadelen: "Thd boarding was delayed. The food was terrible. Thd breakfast was barely edible. For such a long flight, our flight attendant didn't even check on us after serving the meal and appeared bothered to even be there. In all fairness this was an AA flight not British Airways."

Nadelen: "I booked a british airways flight and found myself boarding a partner company plane of American Airline with not personal screens, with a very chaotic boarding and had a 40 minute delay."

Voordelen: "Arrived at my destination"
Nadelen: "Bought British Air tickets, got their partner airline American Air flight instead and didn't know of this switch until after purchase. Very rude! Crappy old plane, departed late, crappy food, mediocre service. I wanted British Air specifically as they are good in these areas."

Voordelen: "We landed safely in Paris. Crew were nicer than the one from SFO TO LONDON"
Nadelen: "Seat not comfortable."

Voordelen: "Crew was friendly and helpful. Flight smooth."
Nadelen: "Selecting seats was impossible because it was a British Airways flight operated by American Airlines - when I selected change seats on BA site it would send me to AA.com and when I tried selecting seats there it sent me to BA.com and on it went circles. I was finally able to select seats at the airport. Flight would have also been better if on demand entertainment was available at each seat in coach like newer planes."

Voordelen: "Comfortable and smooth landing of the Captain."
Nadelen: "Service training for the Crews for being more polite and for having smiling face..., please!!! Everyone was angry for hardworking????"

Voordelen: "Plane was nice and the crew was good, except that the flight left almost an hour late without enough announcements as to what was going on and when we might be leaving."
Nadelen: "More communications when the flight has been delayed and sitting there."

Nadelen: "Air Europa charged for food."

Voordelen: "Yes"
Nadelen: "Bathroom smells very bad My three seats where very dirty and had brown yucky stuff One had a sticky gum on it The cleaning crew should have noticed it"

Nadelen: "The check-in crew gave terrible service. We almost missed our flight because they wouldn’t check us in. There was no one directing people on where to line up for whatever departure time they had. Just overall a bad experience with Air Europa."

Voordelen: "The crew was bilingual and very friendly."
Nadelen: "The TVs did not work. The sandwiches we had for breakfast were underwhelming, especially after having a 4.5 hour delay prior to boarding"

Nadelen: "It was an excellent experience to fly by Air Europa. I will choose this airline next time, and i will recomend to my familiy and friends. Their personal is very professional. Thank you Air Europa."

Nadelen: "Airlines website was not easy. It kept deleting information"

Nadelen: "The charge for baggage but when i bought the ticket i received that the baggage was included"

Nadelen: "Don’t sit on the isles seat. I kept getting bumped by the staff with no apology. One male flight attendant kept bumping my arm just about every time he passed by. Made no attempt to avoid my arm or shoulder. I got pretty pissed by the third bump."

Nadelen: "Never on time!"

Nadelen: "They didn’t even give water without charging for it. Water is a basic need The hidden baggage fees. I was informed at checkin that I wasn’t allowed a checked bag from Amsterdam via Madrid to Miami. It is the first time I have ever flown internationally where you don’t get 1 bag at least to check in. The. The fee was €150 one way to check a bag. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"

Nadelen: "Kayak listing did not specify that luggage was not included in quoted price and had to pay $150 for each piece of luggage per leg."

Nadelen: "Economy is cramped for 6’3” passenger"

Nadelen: "Seats were very close in front of you. Then my seat did not recline so for the 8 hour flight I had lady in front of me basically in my lap. Flight attendant said I could walk around and look for other seat....didn't offer to see if other seats were available, didn't appear so. Also had teenage son with me did not want to leave him."

Nadelen: "Poor customer service, outdated plane, uncomfortable seats, didn’t turn lights down until well after midnight. Hardly slept due to screaming babies and loud toilet flushes. Cold stewardesses and inedible food. Just an awful experience."

Nadelen: "Air Europa lost my bag for 6 days. I picked it up at the airport finally the 7th day of my trip. They found it on day 3 but took 4 entire days to ship it from Boston. Awful. We were also delayed 3 hours in Madrid with no compensation, we got a "snack" voucher that totaled $5. It was terrible and I will never fly this airline again."

Voordelen: "Overall the flight was fine."
Nadelen: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."

Nadelen: "Airport gate unprepared for wheel chairs and strollers. No elevator in gate area."

Voordelen: "Everything about the flight from the moment I boarded was totally fine."
Nadelen: "The line to get checked-in in Barcelona was extremely long and I waited nearly an hour - can't help thinking if the online check-in was more dependable, it would have been a shorter line, but I made it to my gate with time to grab some lunch so life's still not all that bad."

Voordelen: "Great value for the money, pleasant crew, good food, and comfortable seating."
Nadelen: "In flight entertainment limited to a few small TVs in the center."

Nadelen: "I bought 2 tickets at the same time for me and my wife and the sat us separately 10 rows apart from each other. Its stupid they dont let you choose your own seats. Also paying for the bag was another long process and had to go to 3 sepparate counters because Air Europa required a different procedure. Pilots necer announced upcomig turbulence and the landing was horrible. Old and uncomfortable seatbelts. Ive been on 3 flights this week and this was by far the worst. Wont be flying Air Europa in the future."

Nadelen: "The principal negative experience which made the overall flight experience very disappointing was the lack of leg room. I am 6 feet and about 4 inches tall, therefore flights are never very comfortable. However, out of many airlines I have used Air Europa provides the least amount of leg room. The flight was very uncomfortable. It lasted nearly 12 hours, but I never came close to being able to take even a short nap. This was the worst flight experience I have had. There should be an advisory to warn tall individuals like myself."

Nadelen: "No entertainment options despite having tvs and only water was free."

Nadelen: "I got "upgraded" to first class. Where the spacing between seats was smaller than USA economy seating. After jamming my knees in I was told being upgraded didn't entitle me to free food or drinks. Yup wanted to charge for a bag of peanuts. Adding insult to injury takes about an hour to get your bag when you finally get off."

Voordelen: "Slept almost the entire flight over, from the middle seat."
Nadelen: "Only a 10kg weight limit, not described well during the ticket purchasing process."

Voordelen: "Nice crew, very professional."
Nadelen: "Entertainment equipment was broken. Food options could be bigger and quality of food could be better."
