Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"
Nadelen: "Actually the Welcome on board announcement. The part where they special welcome loyalty program members. I do not get that... I am an explorer holder my self, but really?? so other paying customers are not as welcome. This is leftovers from the older days.."

Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Nadelen: "Two one way tickets were purchased to Cancun. The layover was 2 hours... but since the first carrier was late, it caused us to miss our connecting flight. Because the 2 tickets were from different carriers, the airline charged us $1600 to buy new tickets. I would never buy tickets this way again."

Nadelen: "Food was cold and mediocre. After flying 6 hours I got up and walked to the galley to see if there was any food and also to get my blood flowing through my body. It was approximately 5 a.m. After standing in the galley for about 5 minutes eating a small sandwich and while drinking my second glass of water, I was told I needed to sit down that I was in the galley too long. Older adults need to move around and get the blood flowing to prevent getting a blood clot. the 3 women stewardesses were busy talking in the galley I guess they felt their privacy and as being invaded."

Not very friendly at all. Safety video makes it seem like everyone in Mexico/on their flights present as white. Should have more diverse actors. Get it together and be representative of the population you serve."

Boarding crew (not on flight but in the terminal) was NOT nice-- I had a garment bag that in past experience does not count as an additional carry on since it can be placed on top of carry-on in overhead bin. Boarding crew member insisted I was over the limit (when though at check-in, the staffer saw how many pieces I had and made no comment) and she insisted I had to check one item AND pay the baggage fee. But this was a problem only because it was a full flight, and I was being punished just because my seat was in a tow closer to the front and boarded later, therefore there was less room left in the overhead bins. Also seemed ridiculous to charge for the first checked bag, with most other reputable airlines, there is no fee for the first checked bag for international flights."
Voordelen: "Flying with Aeromexico to Mexico City was great! This airline is always good and of course it didn't disappoint me this time. The flight was nice and smooth, the airplane very modern and nicely equipped, it had a vast variety of movies available, nice food, nice timing, friendly staff, punctual arrival to the destination, smooth landing, etc. Everything was great!"
Nadelen: "I was seated next to the toilets at the rear of the aircraft and I didn't like that seat. Guys, you really need to do something about this, because during the whole flight I had people standing next to me while queuing to go to the toilets. So, I was 12 hours with people next to my seat, watching me all the time and pushing the back of my seat while they made their way through the queue waiting for their turn to go to the toilet. Terrible situation having people queuing next to my seat and hearing the flushing sounds the whole flight."

Nadelen: "The map for choose seats was diferent than the airplane, i payed for a row with nobody in front and i get one line after that. I only payed money for nothing. The food is poor and not tasty."

Nadelen: "our departure flight was delayed for over 1 hours and our return flight was delayed for over 2 hours. They blamed the weather for the delay on the return flight but all other flights were departing on time or with only a 30 min delay. Aeromexico flights were the only ones being delayed for long periods of time."
Nadelen: "My chair was broken on a four hour flight to SF from Mexico City. I had to sit slumped over reclined despite not wanting to be reclined for the whole flight, even during take off and landing."

Nadelen: "Kayak should allow at least 2 hours of transfer time when booking flights through LAX. I had to go from one terminal to another AND go through immigration and security. In order to make sure I had enough time to make the connecting flight, I didn't check in my luggage which lead to me having to minimize liquids and pastes in my luggage (no vanilla extract or tequila). Also while making the transfer I felt rushed and stressed out. I might search for tickets using Kayak but I would not buy tickets directly from Kayak if my route involves a transfer at an airport that I am not familiar with."
Voordelen: "My husband's knees were pressed against the seat in front of him so much so as to cause indentations in his legs. fortunately the flight wasn't full and we were able to spread out over 3 seats. It was still quite an uncomfortable flight for him."
Nadelen: "The email said that we could check-in online 48 hours ahead of time. This was not available until less than 24 hours ahead of time. Then when I tried to use this feature, it would not work. The webpage was malfunctioning and would not let me check-in. When we checked in at the desk at the airport, it took them a ridiculous amount of time to find us seats. When she did finally find us seats with barely enough time left to get to the gate to board, she had put two of us on stand-by for the connecting flight. There should have been no question about us having seats let alone being put on stand-by. We had booked this flight well in advance and had confirmation from the booking site and AeroMexico. When we got to Mexico City, they had already bumped the two on stand-by off our flight and put them on another flight the would leave 6 hours later that day. Again there was no possible justification for this, especially since the flight they should have been on with us was only 2/3 full. Although this was less of a nightmare that my 1st flight with AeroMexico had been, again the staff was unhelpful and purposely caused us inconvenience and delay for unacceptable reasons. I intend to never fly with AeroMexico and will tell everyone I know not to fly with them either."

Nadelen: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom. Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

Nadelen: "Madrid to Tampa... Got the nursery. Lots of crying babies... must be immigrating to the US. Why don't they put all people with babies at the rear so the rest of us can nap? Not IB's fault, the customs at Miami came to a halt for an hour. 2000 people standing in line, missing connections. There was a shift change, most employees didn't show up for work. was told 'It's a special day'. Fortunately I was at the head of the line. A few of us were routed to someone who was surprised to see US citizens. As a consequence, the always slow MIA failed to transfer my luggage. Still waiting for it... Air travel is such a pain these days. I'm sure more would fly if it wasn't such a hassle."
Voordelen: "Price to fly on this airline is very reasonable and affordable. I would fly on on this airline just for that reason alone."
Nadelen: "Seats are VERY small and squished together."
Voordelen: "The staff was very friendly, polite and attentive"

Nadelen: "Before boarding, crew member had each of us throw our carry on luggage through a hole in the wall (no, they didn't help), down a chute (yeah, a slide... not a motorized belt or anything), watching our luggage hit the ones below. No one was below to catch them, and we saw them slamming into each other, some falling on the ground. Highly disturbing!"

Nadelen: "We paid extra to sit in Economy * I am 6-3, wife 5-4 and neither had any leg room We were sitting in 2 seats by themselves. It was an endurance contest to make it through the flight. I will never fly Iberian Airlines again. It was terrible!!!"

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed for 2 hours they changed the gate # My notifications in my phone were wrong overall poor management My seat was behind a couple with two children that cried and cried and screamed during the flight, couldnt sleep not even with the headphones helped listening to those children crying. Iberia offered to check in my luggage so i can pick it up at my final destination, but my bag never made it. Had to wait two days woth no clothes or work items i needed in my luggage. Overall a very bad experience with iberia"
Nadelen: "No complimentary drinks, not even a glass of water. Check in was horrendous. I pre purchased luggage Check in but when I arrived in airport the automated system doesn't like to that piece of data. Didn't know that so was in a long line to use automated check in when I was supposed to be in an even longer line to have service personnel check me in. So finally after standing in both lines I did get checked in......."
Voordelen: "Cheap fare"
Nadelen: "Disorganized boarding and didn't even offer water for free on flight."
Voordelen: "Flight time and efficiency was fine."
Nadelen: "BA doesn't give food. Must purchase... No problem!! BA doesn't accept USA or China CC or debit. I was starving! After using on earlier flight, I knew I could use Apple Pay. Old, dumb, inconsiderate, rude flight attendant wouldn't even attempt trying alternative payment. She humiliated me. I was uncomfortable, embarrassed, hungry, and furious the entire flight. Never ever again! British Airways is incompetent!"
Nadelen: "They forced us to check our bags at the gate even though we had an international connection to make in London--to continue flying to Chicago. As a result, we had to go through customs and security in London, and would have most definitely missed our connecting flight back home to the States if not for a woman in customs at Heathrow who let us cut to the front of the line. I will never fly Iberia again and will be lodging a formal complaint."
Voordelen: "The friendly, professional and always willing to help and device staff. The tasty food and snacks. There was always a member of the staff visible so it was easy to get water during the 10 hour flight. Or you can go and see them into their resting area and they were willing to help."
Nadelen: "I tried to paid for an upgrade but the ground staff wasn't very accommodating, she just said no."
Voordelen: "A short flight but could have some form of entertainment."
Nadelen: "Seats are tiny. No legroom."
Nadelen: "While making the reservation online it said that you could declare your luggage when you do online check in 24 hours before your flight and the charge would be 15 euro's per bag or if you wait and do it at the airport it would be 30 euros per bag. I tried numerous times to do the check in before our flight and it kept saying unable to complete. I explained this to the agent at the airport and he still charge us 30 euros per bag."

Nadelen: "had a booked flight from madrid to gatwick, london and connection the next day at 11 am to Tampa US. We were at the airport at 1500. Flight was supposed to board at 1820 and leave at 1850. When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."

No entertainment for an 8 hour international flight! Really? Only one checked bag for an international flight. I’ve experienced much better on other airlines."

Nadelen: "The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"
Nadelen: "An international flight, yet no food, and had to purchase beverages and ear buds."
Voordelen: "Guys, we were traveling in the middle of Matthew hurricane and the pilot was just perfect, we didn't feel it. No bumps, no disturbance, nothing. Like shiny day. Congrats"
Nadelen: "The lavatory sink was clogged. The audio to movies was inaudible, as though the picture was streaming and the audio was lost. The crew offered little assistance to a clearly frail elderly passenger who had a very difficult time rising from her seat and using the lavatory."
Nadelen: "It was uncomfortably hot onboard for the entire flight. I couldn't wait to deplane and cool down."
Nadelen: "Flight delayed 2 1/2 hours, plane A/C not working. Waited for another plane. They tried to fix the first plane but they just delayed getting another plane."
Nadelen: "flight was booked as Lufthansa, but Lufthansa would not allow seat selection and air Canada would not recognize Lufthansa booking code, so we were stuck in middle seats for 8 hr & 5 hr flights on third section we in in very back of plane even though there were better seats available"
Voordelen: "The crew was very nice on this flight as well."
Nadelen: "It was a full flight, so not alot of room to move around. My entertainment screen froze up 1/4 of the way into the flight. So I could not watch any movies to pass the time. Didn't buy any food."

Nadelen: "the music channels were lame. I was bummed we did not have wifi in the plane and so I couldn't listen to good music the whole flight"

Nadelen: "Booked 4 months in advance - flew solo. Only window seat left was at the very back, near where the crew prepared everything. The entire flight was spent listening to them prepare meals, discuss their trip itinerary, shifts and how Air Canada treats them, as employees, so poorly. The crew were very short with most passengers and it seemed over staffed."
Nadelen: "3 hours delayed"
Nadelen: "Air Canada lost my luggage, customer service was very vague and unhelpful, did not get my bag back for almost a week."
Voordelen: "aircraft was large and there was one nice stewardess that tried to help us figure out which way to go and if we would make our connection"
Nadelen: "it was delayed causing us to panic because we had a connecting flight and had a long walk from gates . There is no one to help you find your way or tell you which way to go also we had to go through several long lines even though we had already done security twice"
Voordelen: "Crew was nice but customer service at the airport and over the phone is terrible (takes over 30 min to speak with someone and a few times they hang up the phone)"
Nadelen: "Luggage was delayed for over 36 hours and customer service hotline was useless."
Nadelen: "Ran out of salmon for meal"

Nadelen: "Entertainment system is crappy and looks like it's from the 1990's. It needs a serious overhaul. I reserved windows seats and showed up to check and had been placed in the middle."
Nadelen: "We had a short time between flights. Custom wasn't to bad but having to get through security again was a mess. The security guard at first location told us the floor above was moving faster and had more doors. We were in a hurry and changed lines and the other was worse we walked up to gate right in time."
Nadelen: "Was a bit of a pain when I wanted to simply get off the plane in Geneva since it would be shorter, but then the plane was late, but that can't be helped"
Voordelen: "We boarded very quickly! The staff were extremely friendly and made our thirteen hour ride pleasurable. The inflight entertainment had a great deal of new shows and movies. The seats had a decent size and good enough leg room. The flight was smooth, and we took off at a good time. The food was fairly good as well!"

Nadelen: "my in-seat personal tv was broken. If there hadn't been other empty seats, I would have had to sit with no IFE the whole flight."
Nadelen: "The sound and volume on the entertainment system were difficult to control."
Voordelen: "There was excellent leg room by modern standards seats were comfortable flight was very fast once we left Montreal. Plane was landed very smoothly"
Nadelen: "Sat at the terminal for well over an hour waiting for fuel, or so we were told. Food was non-existent, except for purchased food. Not even a peanut. Drink selection lousy crew was variable, as one attendant was less than pleasant. others were fine."
Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and multi-lingual. The food was fine and beverages were frequently offered. I live in Michigan, but flights from Windsor (via Toronto) to Europe are much less expensive, so well worth the drive over the border."
Nadelen: "This airline only allows for one free checked bag when flying internationally. The checked bag size is stringent (but at least travelers are notified about that several times when booking and paying on line. The movie options are limited, but still enough variety to find something to watch."
Voordelen: "For the most part all crews were courteous and friendly. Early boarding for a disabled person traveling with our family was problematic on each leg of the trip."
Nadelen: "Not being informed of the reasons for the delay of almost four hours in the Toronto to Amsterdam leg was a major disappointment. Legroom on both transatlantic legs was a problem as well."
Voordelen: "Never got on this flight. We were never given an email to self check in, and we're unable to board 45 mins before at the gate coming frim anotthe flight. They overbooked this flight & sold our tickets, and then told us we couldn't get on flight. Now we are out $2500 buying new tix!"
Nadelen: "All the above. A simple check in email would have averted this problem. All the other airlines do this. We were under the presumption that we had to check in at airport when we didn't get check-in notice. Furthermore, they sold our tickets, so we're down $2500 and they doubled their profit. It would be hard for me to say I will use Air Canada or kayak in the future."
