Nadelen: This was a discount garbage carrier. I have ridden on cargo boats off the coast of Nicaragua that I would recommend before Xiamen. They don’t give you your connecting boarding pass when you leave the country. You have to go through China’s bullshit customs service three times just to get to your next flight. Chinese customs is like a bowl full of retarted fish smelling their own farts. Six people doing nothing while one blithering idiot Stubles through paperwork.
Voordelen: Almost nothing, this was a terrible flight and experience! The movies were good, that's about it.
Nadelen: No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.
Nadelen: the transit in Xiamen after my flight from Hong Kong it was 7 hours I have stay in xi amen. The promotion and/or advertisement saying that I have eight hotel for me to rest in Xiamen or a city tour. After I arrived there.all of those was saying nothing provided today. all I can have is leading me to a lough where just seats, tables for passenger to sit there. provided tea, water, Chinese made coke with natural temperature no ice . just sit there for 7 hours to wait for my connection flight to LAX

Nadelen: Snacks and water ran out during the last several hours of the flight. For shorter people, their feet would have difficulty touching the floor.
Nadelen: Where are my bags ? So my bag was on the flight but it’s been 2 hours and no bag ? Talk about ruining the whole travel experience because after a 16 hour flights your bag isn’t here and no one seems to know what happened . So they have you waiting 2 hours diiddling yourself and no one has any information . Go China southern yeah ! NOT

Nadelen: No wheel chair was provided for my husband and the crew did nothing to get us one. I have complained to the Singapore office and airport no too. My struggled all the way to the taxi stand. As it is he is already an asthma patient. I met the crew at the immigration and they walked away.
Voordelen: Started on time. Landed on time.
Nadelen: Hostesses are worse and worse. Forget everything you say. You repeat 5 times. All announcements are made so loudly and 3 times (Russian, English, Spanish). Everyone must wake up. It roars so loadly you can’t hide even in headphones. Late for 30 minutes, which is norm for the company. Then you for the luggage for more than 30 minutes. Worst in Europe.
Nadelen: Flight was delayed and the airline lost my bag
Nadelen: Plane was placed far away in the airfield. Buses were taking people and were waiting to be filled. Doors of busses were open, it was cold outside. Priority and non-priority were waiting in the buses outside. Long ride through the field , letting taking off plane to go first. Bus by bus was bringing new portions of passengers. Plane departed late.
Voordelen: the crew was very welcoming and always wanted to help.
Nadelen: my luggage didn't arrive
Voordelen: I was not put on the plane because they said my seat did not existed! I had purchased my ticket 3 months prior to departure and they said I did not have a seat on the plane due to overbooking. They clearly gave my seat away to someone else and this is not acceptable.
Nadelen: Ethiad was not helpful at all and did not provide any same day help. They’re customer service was absolutely terrible.
Voordelen: Planes were good with good leg room
Nadelen: For Asian Veg Meal, they served Paneer for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spacing between meals was quite large. Entertainment options for adults and kids were quite limited.
Nadelen: My seat (8d) would not recline and the hand rest would not go up.
Nadelen: Need more leg room even for regular economy seating

Voordelen: This was a very short flight. They gave you a great little snack and drink. Was a very smooth flight and the crew were very friendly and welcoming.
Nadelen: Could not check in online because the system was down.

Nadelen: Economy seats are less than desirable. I’m alarmist positive I booked premium economy in kayak. Never checked my booking and notice economy later. Could have gotten the same price for premium economy elsewhere. Super pissed

Voordelen: It was better with the earache, plane felt cleaner, the crew was more friendly and attentive. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight.
Nadelen: The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like.
Voordelen: The wafer bar. Pilot had a good landing in high winds and snow.
Nadelen: Nothing to complain.

Nadelen: On the transatlantic flight the crew was unattractive and somewhat rude. They skipped our entire row serving morning refreshments and then complained and tried to shame us all for calling them back. Food quality was on par with Alegent Airlines. We even got charged for one piece of checked luggage 46lb on a international flight. That was a first!!!

Voordelen: I was feeling very bad during flight. Crew made everything possible to make this flight comfortable for me. They took good care of me and were stopping by me, to check how am I feeling during whole flight.
Nadelen: This is not about airlines, but about passengers. All airlines should prohibit passengers to use fragrance. This lady who flew next to me, had strong perfume and it felt like she used half of the bottle, cause it was impossible to breath.
Voordelen: Priority Boarding for business class. The cabin crew were attentive, cheerful, caring. It's a short regional flight so the older, regional configuration of the seats is appropriate if not a little shabby. Offer of juices, Arabic coffee and dates before take off is very welcoming as is a choice of hot or cold towels. Flight was on time for take-off and landing.
Nadelen: No inflight entertainment or, if there is, there are no headsets.
Voordelen: Cheap airfares, direct flights
Nadelen: Flight crew did not clear cabin at takeoff and landing. Tables left down, seats reclined. Did not enforce standards resulting in restricted egress in case of emergency. Allowed passengers to get up, collect thier bags from overhead compartments immediately after landing and during taxi. Clogged asiles. Poor air con during flight. Extremely cramped seating. Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though.
Voordelen: The company of the 7 year old girl in the seat in front.
Nadelen: The late departure. Again. With no reason or meaningful excuse given. The bland and overcooked food. The lack of space for knees and shoulders even though I'm only 1m72cm.
Nadelen: Lost my checkedin baggage. Missed my connection flight from Muscat due to delay in arrival from Istanbul
Nadelen: This was my 2nd international flight with China Eastern Air. Both were delayed out of SFO because they didn't have planes. I missed my connection (even though I had a 4 hour layover)
Nadelen: boarding was slightly confusing, but flight was super-full and many other travelers were rude while waiting. also - wifi did not appear to work at all, and directions were not useful
Nadelen: Absence of jet-way, unclean flight bad restrooms staff didn't speak or understand english
Voordelen: This flight was shorter but i felt flight attendants were still very attentive.
Nadelen: Didn’t have individual screens to watch movies. One movie didn’t have English subtitles. Not that i cared because I was in and out of sleep, just pointing it out.
Voordelen: The service is phenomenal. They served so many meals i felt like a bear in hibernation, waking up, eating and going back to sleep.
Nadelen: I don’t have anything bad to say. The service was really good.
Voordelen: Q Suite is top-of-line business class product
Voordelen: Food was good, and the crew were very patient and polite - went out of their way to make us comfortable.
Nadelen: The aircraft seemed to be really old. The entertainment system on the seat I was allotted did not work, and I had to change seats. In the new seat, the entertainment system worked, but the seat didn't recline, and I had to change seats again - from an initially allotted aisle seat, to a middle seat. Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?

Nadelen: The sound system was inadequate on the TV and the headsets were uncomfortable. The queue at the check-in needs to be better controlled, it was a bit chaotic.

Nadelen: My flight was overbooked so I was put on a flight to Almaty then Delhi and now my luggage is lost. I will never fly with Ukraine Intl. Airlines again.
Nadelen: They weren’t any chargers there
Voordelen: So if you exceed 10KG by 100grams they will charge you as separate luggage. In my case I was 1 KG more so I paid 66 Eurosbor I won't board. Which was 20 minutes before take off. So I paid.
Voordelen: The service quality and client treatment of Ukranian Intl Air has improved a lot compared to my last trip with them.
Voordelen: Excellent crew service. Smaller aircraft so not as comfortable but OK for a short flight.
Nadelen: Unfortunately, due to queue for anti-icing we were delayed.

Nadelen: The food was horrible junk. I can not imagine, how anybody can dare to offer this somebody to eat. Headphones were extra pay.

Nadelen: Very long delay, got bumped for a flight the next day. Horrible experience
Nadelen: I was not allowed to board the flight and made to wait for 4 hours at the Paris airport. This is extremely disheartening and frustrating to say the least. I would want to rescedhule my upcoming flight to avoid such inconvenience.

Nadelen: No WIFI on long flights (which likely have business travelers traveling in the middle of a business day) is a very big No-No in 2019. Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required.
Nadelen: Boarding was ridiculous! The gate was significantly too small for a number of passengers that needed to board. There were no clear announcements out how to organize ourselves therefore it was complete chaos with no one knowing where to line up. The crew was the most ridiculous!!! I sat four or five rows from the back and was Peerview to all of their conversations about their hair, about their schedules, about your “valued guest”, about their shifts, about Batman, about anything and everything during the time the plane dark when your “valued customers” were supposed to be able to sleep. It went on and on at a volume that was just absolutely not necessary or professional. This was the least professional crew I have ever experienced and I travel extensively! Comfort the Cabin was freezing cold entire time. I bought a blanket which did basically nothing! Was it Oliver twist blanket before hand? The free blankets I get on other lines with the chill out significantly better! Food and drinks was nonexistent which I suppose is the new trend cutting service for profit. However it should’ve been clearly stated to passengers, that we can prepare for the 11 hour flight!! Entertainment it was nice that each seat had a screen, however the selection of entertainment was poor! For example each TV series only had one episode available.
Voordelen: We didn’t order any food. Free drinks would have been nice. Crew was nice. Entertainment was a good surprise.
Nadelen: Having the choice of no drinks or $5 drinks was unpleasant. Also, why were we crowded three in a row of three seats when there were rows (of three seats) with only one person? Also, it was a major pain in the neck to be stuck at CDG with all our luggage (which we had to claim after the previous flight — surprise! — since we bought out ticket through Kiwi.com) for hours, due to Norwegian Air not allowing us to check in yet.
