Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Nadelen: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

They were narrow and hard as a board, like sitting on a wood fold out chair. We were delayed 2.5 hours and they wouldn’t turn the air up, so we melted."

Nadelen: "Walking from one terminal to terminal was quite a problem. when the staff are checking before you pass through the security after you arrived form Lagos to Frankfurt was quite rude. I had a electronic boarding pass on my phone for some reason the wifi from the airport was slow in allowing my electronic boarding pass to work and the staff was impatience with me and rudely asked me to get off the line."

We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Voordelen: "Very roomy seats, friendly attendants. Nice sunset. My sister liked the 'tour' of the airport on taxiing to the gate. I found it frustrating. The plane was about 30 minutes late which was nice because it took a while to get off our Munich flight, find our new gate and we ended up nearly running to the gate."
Nadelen: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."

Voordelen: "Although the flight to Frankfurt was delayed for more than an hour they made special arrangements to get on time to the next flight."

Nadelen: "The food on Lufthansa is terrible. Many crew members are rude and unaccomodating, even in business class. I will never pick Lufthansa if I have to fly business class again."

They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

Voordelen: "Professional, friendly, helpful staff in a new, quiet plane (A380-800). Smooth landing. Easy disembarkment despite approximately 500 passengers from a large aircraft."
Nadelen: "Unreliable domestic Lufthansa flights (in Germany) connected to this international one, and the departure time history for this LH400 proved typical for this flight, which ultimately left nearly 2 hours late despite good local weather. An announcement cited technical difficulties with the originally scheduled plane. Several small groups we recognized from embarkation on this LH400 flight filed lost luggage claims, as we did. Uncharacteristically bad planning by LH on food choices left our rows near the front of Economy without a choice of meals: only pasta, tasty though it was, was available. The chicken option was gone. The flight status video program function did not work for anybody near us despite three equipment restarts by the crew."

Nadelen: "Seated near and next to me were about 9 German men who had begun their vacation to Colorado in the airport bar prior to the flight. I was seated in a middle seat "J" (I believe) in row 37 or 39. The men were receiving from the stewardesses repeatedly two glasses at a time and kept going back to the galley and getting two glasses of wine at a time Although they were loud, congregating in the aisle around rows 37 and 39 they were not limited in what they could drink. The two on either side of me were disrespectful of my personal space and were very inappropriate. I got up and went to the galley behind my seat to ask the stewardesses to get me another seat. During this time the guys kept coming back to this galley for more wine still taking two at a time. The stewardesses explained that the plane was full. Others complained also. I then asked the stewardesses if since they were over serving these guys, would they trade one of their jump seats with me. At this point they cut the guys off and got the pursar. She talked to them and ignored my personal safety concerns and said no one gets on a plane drunk (yeah, right) and that they would now behave and were asleep. That's why they are still talking at the top of their lungs and standing in the aisle? I asked. I wish I had video recorded this, I did not as others with kids in the aisles across from me did. I hope their videos go viral Not impressed with Lufthansa"

Nadelen: "The fact that the person in front of us could push her seat back to the point that the TV screen was up in my mother's face. Just because someone has paid extra for a better seat, does not mean they should inconvenience elderly people (who are less flexible in moving further back). This creates a poor environment. Please consider not having your seats recline to the point where they make the person in the seat behind, extremely uncomfortable."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "The seat was not very comfortable. The seat cushion was quite firm. I sat for 15 hours on a Qantas seat which was quite a bit more comfortable. There was no onboard entertainment unless you had a cell phone and could download the West Jet app. I was spoiled by my flight with Qantas from Vancouver to Sydney. They had touch screens on the backs of the seats so you could choose movies, radio, games, and flight info and the seats were much more comfortable."

Nadelen: "Entertainment"

Nadelen: "Seat didn’t recline all. I felt like a sardine. Seat cushion the most uncomfortable that I have ever experienced."

Voordelen: "The flight crew were nice and efficient and the aircraft was clean. The food selection was not bad: more vegetarian options would be nice. The flight itself was smooth and I felt safe."
Nadelen: "Our flight from New York to Toronto was 45 minutes late. It was due in part to unbelievably poor organization: we couldn’t hear the person telling us which section was boarding, there was no clear line up and only one person slowly checking our boarding passes. Almost late for connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed two hours and not handled well by the airport staff. Boarding was a mess and disorganized. We were not kept informed of the reasons for delay."

Nadelen: "I didn't like in a middle seat and being told that in order to move to an aisle seat I would have to pay $13.50. Normally with Westjet it was always free to change seats at Check in. It's frustrating when things change and you only find out at the time of check in rather than at time of booking."

Nadelen: "Delays are common yes, but the “system” to re-route or re book was a horrid FAIL. I’ve never encountered such inefficient system for something so common as a flight delay. I requested the volume be turned down repeatedly but it was never changed... from London to Calgary. More frequent offers for food/beverage would be appreciated, there were only two rounds made for the entire flight of almost 9hrs. It's just nice to have a bit more flexibility..."

Nadelen: "im just sitting before the restroom (seat 29 C)im realy tall and the people pushing onmy seat all the time and bang my arm and the smell is realy bad and i see to much but in face for long long time because the people waiting on my place .. another bad im telling the crew and the girl she said my only option is wake the girl just beside me for asking to change the seat ...i refuse because SHE SLEEPING ! realy not happy sorry !"

Voordelen: "Everything west jet is great"

Nadelen: "Very bumpy ride, wished it was cancelled. I was motion sick the entire ride, and no water was provided until four hours in, and while I understand it was due to turbulence, perhaps if it is too bumpy to serve water for the first four hours we should not be flying at all. Also very little food is provided for a 5.5 hour trip, two biscuits is not sufficient and as we landed near midnight there are not many options to acquire quick food either."

Voordelen: "Great service all around."

Nadelen: "it was a very noisy flight with a lot of children. Asked the crew to let me have tablet for 9.99$ but since I am a tourist and have no credit card they could not sale it to me."

Nadelen: "The customs process at Abbotsford International Airport was ridiculously slow with only 2 boarder guards & several others seemingly standing around"

Voordelen: "WestJet has very good hard shell seats on the 737-800. These are well contoured and padded, and far enough apart to offer decent legroom (row 8). The seating experience was vastly better than being in a “preferred” bulkhead row on an AC Rouge B767-300. Boarding was efficient so we were able to leave the gate slightly early."
Nadelen: "Pre-purchased meals are delivered with the first service after take off, which was awkwardly early on a five hour flight that departed at 3 pm."

Voordelen: "Cancelled the flight and was utter chaos with no direction what so ever."
Nadelen: "Staff would not communicate with the passenger's."

Nadelen: "We had 1-hour delay"

Voordelen: "Staff was kind and courteous. Entertainment system had lots of video options."
Nadelen: "Both flights were delayed. Needed to use own device to access in-flight entertainment. Charger was in packed bag and phone was low on juice so only got to watch for 15 minutes."

Voordelen: "The plane was less busy so many people had an empty seat next to them. It was great for leg room and I slept the whole flight!"

Nadelen: "Having to have a physical boarding pass and keep having to get it checked."

Nadelen: "Snack was very minimal with no selection or option to purchase more."

Nadelen: "The pilot on the Honolulu flight to Vancouver left some documents at the hotel and he had to go back to get them therefore delaying our flight to vancouver. This caused a lot of passengers connection flights delayed and rebooked to another flight later on that day. No apologies or compensation of time wasted was given. Food vouchers would have been nice. The new boarding passes provided also pushed most of us passengers back to the last seats at the back of the plane.. which was a very uncomfortable experience."

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice."
Nadelen: "The plane was old so no entertainment, food was not good, could not sit in area waiting for flight, no chairs left and I was 5ere. Very early. Travelling is not great anymore, the crew try’s their best I know."

Voordelen: "That the flight was on time"
Nadelen: "That the person doing our pre boarding lost my partners visa"

Nadelen: "Overhead bins were full so as a result my carry-on baggage ended up in the cargo hold. And they treated me like it was my fault. Because of that I had to wait for it at the baggage carousel and I missed my Ferry. Pretty pissed about that."

Voordelen: "I had 2 checked in bags, the charge a bit to high, When fly between Canada - USA, 1 allowable check-in luggage should be included in the fare. Please think about it."

Voordelen: "Comfort, attention to detail and above all else, feeling welcome and safe throughout check-in to thanking crew de-planing. Incredible experience as always."
Nadelen: "Nothing comes to mind"

Voordelen: "Stewardess let me change seats to a cooler part of the cabin at the back of the plane."
Nadelen: "The air temperature in the cabin was too hot."

Nadelen: "Pre boarding passengers were disturbed by having to get out of their seats to allow other same-row passengers to be seated. If those needing assistance were boarded last all other passengers are settled and could move more easily for them than the other way around."

Voordelen: "There was one crew member was passive aggresive and doing his best to annoy the whole trip, I had to get other crew involved, he was hitting on my friend as well....."
Nadelen: "This was a United flight sold as Air Canada to me and Lufthansa to my friend. This made check in twice as long since we went to the wrong counters. The quality was horrendous for an international flight and the entertainment system was broken. I paid atleast 50% more than I should have. Never fly UA"

Nadelen: "Delays"

Voordelen: "Crew, seats and entertainment. Unfortunately a rude passenger in front that put their seat back too far and refused to compromise so didn’t have much leg room over a 6 hour flight."
Nadelen: "Ran out of half the food options halfway down the plane."

Voordelen: "Timely. Best entertainment."
Nadelen: "Very disappointed with the seat. Then placed us next to women with children. No rest for us at all. Also no blankets provided. Others had."

Nadelen: "Main meal was the worst I have had in over 10 years on a plane. I got the pasta. There were no vegetables or color other than yellow/orange in the dish. The side was a potato salad, which is also not very nutritious. Then you get a brownie and a roll. The breakfast/snack was also a pumpkin slice of bread. The overall food options were not very diverse in terms of the food groups. I thought plane food had improved in the last decade or so, but not on this flight."

Nadelen: "Lemon pasta mixed with tomato pasta was weird. Little salad was weird. What was it made of?? Not bad, just weird. Choco brownie was nice but richer than Trump's claims about his own wealth. Will get the chicken next time."

Nadelen: "Our flight was delayed from Honolulu. This made Customs and Screening stressful...as there was only 45 minutes to get through and then to the gate. No one advised that there was another plane shortly, which would have reduced the feeling that we had to sprint down to the gate. Otherwise a very good flight"

Voordelen: "Slight delay due to mechanical issues"

Voordelen: "I had requested assistance which was excellent."
Nadelen: "The small seats"

Nadelen: "24 hour delay due to mechanical issues"

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were polite but didn’t go out of their way to help out."
Nadelen: "No room to store carry on and nobody seemed to care that all space was taken close to our seats. We felt penalized because others abused the system while we were trying to follow the rules."

Voordelen: "The leg room in basic economy was great -- especially compared to other airlines. In seat entertainment was free."
Nadelen: "Entertainment movie/TV programming was limited (not live television)."

Voordelen: "The waiting room before boarding was big and comfortable. Staff was very friendly."
Nadelen: "Children running around because there wasn't anything to do. Passengers ignoring no food and drink signs. A passenger had a nut allergy so no food could be eaten or served with nuts. I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

Nadelen: "One of the crew members seemed a bit out of sorts, didn't smile much and was curt with another passenger when she was asked to take his garbage."

Voordelen: "Niets"
Nadelen: "Oncomfortabele stoelen, Inflight entertainment werkte slecht"

Nadelen: "I only had one gripe about this flight and my one other flight on Air Canada Rouge; the overhead bins are very poorly designed. I purchased a carry on bag specifically to meet their regs, yet it had it go in the bin longways, taking up a ton of room. The bins are tall, which is wasted space, when what they really need is another 1-2" in depth."

Voordelen: "I liked the clean cabin, decent service during meals and overall amenities offered. The plane itself was quite nice and more comfortable than most."
Nadelen: "The food seemed to be quite a small portion. The chicken entree was normal size, but lacking in taste. The side was also bland in flavor but a good mix of veggies. I would have enjoyed another small snack, such as cheese and crackers or some such. The movie list was fairly good with somewhat recent items. The TV list was lacking in choices, it seemed. However, that may be the content of modern TV. Access to the toilets were often hindered by staff, especially in the rear of the cabin. We were 45 minutes late. I was already booked on a flight 5+ hours later, which was nice. However, I was given a only a food voucher of 31CHF. The amount was wonderful, but they offered this at a time when I had already eaten on the plane and was not hungry at all. I could only buy a few things to eat or take with me, and the rest of the amount was wasted. Alternatives, could have been a partial refund, a visa gift card, an upgrade on my flight back, etc."

Nadelen: "Check in was slow and confusing."

Nadelen: "Really, pulling me off a flight .no explanation are you serious . I am having my lawer look into my legal rights. Expecting a reply. Never in my life have I been treated so badly . I will never fly on Air Canada"

Voordelen: "The crew was pleasant, and the boarding and de-planing process went smoothly."
Nadelen: "The plane was really cold, and we were told that they couldn't adjust the temperature, but we could have a blanket - at a cost. We have heard from other people who travelled Rouge about how cold their flight was, too. I also didn't realize that there wouldn't be in-flight movies - unless you rented an i-pad, etc. That was a bit disappointing for a 6-hour flight. I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

Nadelen: "Got checked out from my flight from Montreal to NYC without reason. Had to get rebooked on later flight and arrived significantly later than planned. At NYC it took a while to realize that my bag was just waiting for me in the 'lost baggage' office of Air Canada"

Voordelen: "Excellent and diverse film selection. I broadened my horizons watching documentaries on hacking, gun running, and on an Afghan refugee teen in Iran, a film about a black American teen in Germany, and a French drama."
Nadelen: "Most of the time economy class is uncomfortable because of the lack of foot room. So this time, for the long flight from China, I chose an exit row precisely for the extra leg space. However, there is no footrest at all , which as you're surely aware, is terribly uncomfortable when sitting for long periods, let along trying to sleep. Furthermore, the exit row seats are not provided a substitute for missing the usual back-of-the-seat pocket with magazines ; that means no spot to place books/papers/trash for the entire flight. Finally, I am 5'2 and petite, and was seated between two fairly slim men, and yet we were still all squeezed side to side. I had no elbow rest. I actually rested my head on one man's shoulder, once he was asleep, and hope he didn't notice. While this is unfortunately typical of economy class, it is not decent."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly"
Nadelen: "Seats are extremely small and cramped. Temperature was too cold during the flight and there wasn't even a fan on so it was the cabin temperature which couldn't be adjusted. In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Nadelen: "Not even one single snack for free"

Voordelen: "Crew is quite young and friendly.. good service. Boarding was quick and easy. Blanket and neck pillow package were comfy and worth the $7"
Nadelen: "The plane was FREEZING and the seats are a bit cramped."

Voordelen: "All"
Nadelen: "None"

Voordelen: "crew was helpful and nice, especially in the terminal which is hard for mom to get around. If you need a wheelchair remember to ask beforehand. We hadn't so we had to wait sometimes while they located one for us. As we had long layovers (so mom could rest) this wasn't a problem for us, but with shorter turn around times it could be an issue."
Nadelen: "people were rude. couldn't lean seat back and it was a red eye so I had no sleep for 25 hours. WAY too NOISY for a red-eye flight which also didn't help with rest."

Voordelen: "More leg room"
Nadelen: "Horrible seats"

Voordelen: "Yes, I like it"
Nadelen: "We could not book for large group, so we have to separate"

Voordelen: "Boarding was smooth but then the flight was not full"
Nadelen: "The crew looked bored and surly. They missed giving me my pre ordered meal. When they finally found it it was given without the water bottle. I had to ask for tea twice only to be told that all hot beverages had been poured out."

Voordelen: "The staff were apologetic and understanding. Everyone felt bad for the staff because they had nothing to do with the nightmare."
Nadelen: "Not only that I missed my connecting flight, when I was actually able to board 24 hours later the boarding experience was a complete nightmare with long lines and completely disorganized boarding system. I am curious to see whether I will get compensated for the missed hotel accommodations in Amsterdam. Keeping my fingers crossed. All to say, my last trip with Air Canada."

Voordelen: "The way back there was nobody beside us. Nice to have extra room."
Nadelen: "On the way back there was only one person in business class. Nobody got bumped up"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 3 hours."

Voordelen: "Food was really good and they passed drinks a few times as well as walking through with water. Staff was friendly"

Voordelen: "Everything was average."
Nadelen: "Not all food available on the food catalog menu."

Nadelen: "We were on the Tarmac for almost two hours before take off. We were served only cold drinks and pretzels, no tea or coffee, during the entire time. There was very little leg room, the seats were cramped and inadequate luggage space."

Voordelen: "The flight was smooth and on time. The cabin was very comfortable to fly in although the headrests were unnecessary since a small pillow was provided. Thank you for the pillow and blanket - that made the night flight much more comfortable. The crew were all professional and friendly. I appreciated how quickly we boarded and exited the plane. The staff made this very quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "Every time the male attendant walked by he brushed his hand along the overhead luggage compartment. This woke me up from my sleep over a dozen times. It was fine once or twice but became very annoying. The zones at the gate were very crowded and too close together. They were also right beside the food vendors and made it nearly impossible for other people in the terminal to easily walk by. The seating area was overcrowded and had more seating with computer hookups than without. It was also not kept tidy. Compared to other airports this was by far the most disorganized and least clean."

Voordelen: "Everything was okay to good, industry standard these days flying from Northern America."
Nadelen: "Banana bread for breakfast?"

Voordelen: "Plane was late due to Stewart missing the bus from their hotel?...seriously unprofessional and the check in staff lying to customers to accommodate others customers from an undeparted flight from the night before?...attempting to change my flight due to this?...seriously need to do better Air Canada...and to top it all off you are served by a snotty unprofessional group of stewards?....a huge JOKE!....won't be flying this airline again and I will be spreading the word!"
Nadelen: "Seriously?"

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice and helpful. The in flight movies are good."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a little hectic and unorganized. And although my luggage made it to my second flight, my friends luggage was left in Toronto. Now we are in Amsterdam and she has no clothes. My head phone jack was also broken and could barely be used."

Voordelen: "The process through Heathrow was easy and efficient. Boarding was fairly quick for an international, large flight. The staff were always accommodating and friendly. I was comfortable in the seat, I am a small person but I did notice that the seat was significantly larger than other flights I have been on, and appreciated the entertainment, which had a great selection of movies."
Nadelen: "The meal served was very nice. The snack served after was a spicy chicken wrap and I really must question the wisdom of serving anything spicy in an enclosed environment with a limited number of toilets."

Voordelen: "The crew was excellent, and the flight procedures were very efficient."
Nadelen: "I have no criticisms to offer."

Nadelen: "The plane was filthy. The leg room seemed smaller than usual. The crew wasn't very friendly."
