Nadelen: "The plane was an older model and very outdated. The flight attendants gave us a choice between chicken or vegetarian pasta. I chose chicken, but it was actually beef. The salad was literally iceberg lettuce and a slice of cucumber. Overall, the meal was one of the lowest quality I've ever had in am airline. The outdated onboard entertainment system was annoying to operate and it was impossible to even see the screen when the person ahead leaned back."

Nadelen: "Seats 23A, 23B were extra cramped on the B777-300ER, even though they are sold as "extra comfort"! due to the video screen taking space between the seats. The seats were so cramped that the overhead light kept coming on, unknowingly, when people shifted in their seats."

Nadelen: "The same as the first flight, although it was a bit better, offering chocolates and a small breakfast, although they didn’t have an alternative to ham or yogurt for people who are not interested in them"

They wanted me to pay for my seat after already spending 1100. Then they said I was randomly selected for a TSA check in Zurich. Seriously. And there was no TSA agent in sight doing the check. It was a Swiss Airline Employee. Never had that happen even in the USA."

Nadelen: "The flight was scheduled for about 1pm and we arrived with another connecting flight to the Athens airport at 8am as that was our only choice. No staff arrived until 11am to check people in and take baggage. We were flying business and would have liked to check in earlier and make our way through security to the business lounge but could not and had to wait for three hours. It would have been nice to have one person on duty."

Voordelen: "Friendly team, great food and snacks and tons of movies to choose from."

Nadelen: "Only one agent to check in economy passengers two agents for first class and 2 or 3 for special needs. There were many more economy passengers and it took a lot longer to be serviced more agents for economy would have been more equitable"

Voordelen: "Entertainment was great, planes was very clean, the food was excellent and the staff was friendly."

Voordelen: "The Swiss airline bit was about an hour late. Weather etc. But such things happen. The flight itself was fine. They even served food and a beer."
Nadelen: "The queues at Heathrow for passport control were long. The non-EU q was awful. Luckily the tube was running all night on those lines we needed."

I was in a window seat - cld not wake the people beside me and getting up to get water was difficult. Pushed the call button to be told that I cld get it myself!"

Nadelen: "The fact that they made me check my carry on even though I was in first class. It fit in the plane on my first flight. Why wouldn't it fit on this plane!?"

Voordelen: "I did not take this flight. I had to change my itinerary to accommodate a change in my work commitments and tried to cancel this flight but was unable."
Nadelen: "I am never ordering a ticket through your services again. And I will certainly advise friends and colleagues against doing so. Your customer service is execrable. This is the second time in a year that I have had to spend hours of time in an attempt to cancel a flight and have lost the full ticket cost because of all your terms and conditions and fine (=unfindable, unreadable) print. The lack of transparency regarding baggage fees is outrageous. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in such fees after having had no such notice - and no inkling - that that would be the case. We call this a "racket" in the United States."

Nadelen: "There was much confusion and no one seemed to know what was going on with this flight. By the time I reached Schipol all trains and trams had stopped. I had to pay an extra 40 euro for cab home that night."

Voordelen: "Best flight in years. Attentive crew, very good food and wine, on time. Strongly recommended."

Nadelen: "On my return journey I was told at check in that there were delays that would mean missing my onward journey from Zurich. I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

Voordelen: "Decent food (great chocolate), polite attendants and updated aircraft"
Nadelen: "Contrary to most experiences in Switzerland, the Swiss Air boarding process is a damn mess! Most airlines board by rows or boarding groups, but Swiss Air does none of that. As soon as first class is boarded, they open boarding to all seats, so it's like cattle boarding a train. With Swiss Air, don't wait to get in line - do it early to ensure you get carry-on storage near your seat."

Voordelen: "It was a very short flight. Thankfully very short."
Nadelen: "I paid extra for extra leg room and there seemed to be no difference in leg room between business class and economy class."

Nadelen: "No where was it mentioned that the fair doesn’t include check in item. I had to pay Euro 30 extra."

Nadelen: "I paid extra for legroom but was in the main walkway so my feet were stepped on for the entire flight."

Nadelen: "Very cramped aisle seat and I kept being knocked by passing crewe including knocking over a cup of water."

Nadelen: "We are a little hard of hearing. It was hard to hear the attendant when giving directions over the intercom. The speech was garbled and directions spoken too fast. I am not referring to the safety speech. Recommend slowing down so that we have more time to process what was spoken."

Nadelen: "Comfort. Seats were very uncomfortable with absolutely NO leg room. I fly a lot and this was one of the WORST leg room experiences I had."

Nadelen: "Overall, I am disappointed in Kayak for listing my round trip flight as KLM, when in actuality, only one short connection of this flight was actually KLM. My itinerary said KLM all over it, but in the fine print it said "operated by Delta." This is dishonest and misleading."

Voordelen: "There was one stewardess that really made the trip feel less "restricted" in the way she would greet, talk, serve, and just being what I always experienced good international flight staff to be. I wish I was able to get her name so I can praise the airlines for hiring such a great staff like her."

Voordelen: "Crew was great. Flight was on time and crew helped the boarding process go smoothly. It was nice to get a beer or wine at no additional cost."
Nadelen: "Seat was shockingly small, even for economy class. TV was poor quality."

Voordelen: "Business class on the 737 is somewhat basic compared to Virgin Australia's A330, but you still get the same great service, and the food is terrific."

Just like other airlines, now have started feeling that Economy class travellers are being approached with bit biased approach in hospitality though they have major contribution in meeting flight running expenses. All airlines should start considering this fact and improve the overall approach."

Nadelen: "No indication of where to go to get to connecting flight. Luckily we had 2 1/2 hours to find the flight."

Upgraded seats were laughable and not worth an extra $60. Food was mediocre. Entertainment would have been good but GE touchscreens are so old, they were difficult to work."

Nadelen: "We were told over the phone that we could bring our kayaks with us to Africa but the airport staff denied not only our kayaks, but also our paddles which were in a standard ski bag. Their excuse was that both the kayaks and paddle bags were 2 inches too long. .. TWO INCHES!!!!!! We had record of the person we talked to and the time and date, but none of that seemed to matter. It caused A HUGE INCONVENIENCE for us since we are in Zambia for 6 weeks without our gear to paddle one of the most challenging rivers in the world... the Zambezi. Now we are constantly trying to acquire the proper equipment with very little success. We run a nonprofit called the Montana Kayak Academy which provides free whitewater instruction to youth between 8 &18 yrs old and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to NOT TRAVEL WITH EITHER VIRGIN ATLANTIC OR BRITISH AIRWAYS.... EVER!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Great conditions for economy class.good leg room...I give them a 5 star rating ... I only wish they would do more flights to other countries overseas ..."

I talked to 5 different people to make sure my bag was put on the correct plane, even asked before boarding if it was on and they said yes.The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

Nadelen: "The travel agents assisting should have been ready for the number of passengers and triaged accordingly. They did not. Which meant a lot of us standing in line for hours missing new connecting flights."

Nadelen: "All four checked baggages received up to Mumbai. I handed over to domestic jet airways all four bags as per the system at Mumbai. But at the end I received only three baggages at Ahmedabad. I informed jet airways about one missing bag. They have acknowledged it and the missing bag was to arrive at Ahmedabad in the next flight. I am still waiting for the missing bag."

Nadelen: "The crew appeared tired, scattered, and unhappy. The flight was delayed after boarding nearly 1hr while repairs were completed. 1st announcement by captains crew stated passengers could disembark during repair, then stated 10min later to take a seat. Very poor communication."

Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "I had a problem getting a boarding pass that was a carryforward from a problem that I had had on the flights from the USA to Frankfort 2 weeks earlier. On those flights, I was denied boarding on the flight from Amsterdam to Frankfort because of miscommunication between Delta and KLM. Apparently, the staff who dealt with that problem did not note that the issue had occurred, so it looked like there were "out-of-sequence" segments on my initial flight and I was not allowed to check in electronically. It took several calls to KLM and Delta in Frankfurt to try to resolve the problem and finally it was determined that it could only be resolved at the airport. Other than a very nice KLM representative, the other people I talked to seemed unwilling to engage in helping me and sent me along to someone else. Although the problem was ultimately fixed, this was not a great customer service experience."

Nadelen: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

They were narrow and hard as a board, like sitting on a wood fold out chair. We were delayed 2.5 hours and they wouldn’t turn the air up, so we melted."

Nadelen: "Very very long walk from aircraft to Schiphol exit. I must have walked for 20 minutes to get out. Not really Lufthansa's fault though."

I had a electronic boarding pass on my phone for some reason the wifi from the airport was slow in allowing my electronic boarding pass to work and the staff was impatience with me and rudely asked me to get off the line."

Nadelen: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Voordelen: "Very roomy seats, friendly attendants. Nice sunset. My sister liked the 'tour' of the airport on taxiing to the gate. I found it frustrating. The plane was about 30 minutes late which was nice because it took a while to get off our Munich flight, find our new gate and we ended up nearly running to the gate."
Nadelen: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."

Voordelen: "Although the flight to Frankfurt was delayed for more than an hour they made special arrangements to get on time to the next flight."

Nadelen: "The food on Lufthansa is terrible. Many crew members are rude and unaccomodating, even in business class. I will never pick Lufthansa if I have to fly business class again."

Nadelen: "I have no flight to connect to."

Nadelen: "My baggage didn't come on time. I have to stay at the airport for additional 3h"

Voordelen: "Flight was smooth and arrived early even though it left 30 minutes late."

They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

Nadelen: "Unreliable domestic Lufthansa flights (in Germany) connected to this international one, and the departure time history for this LH400 proved typical for this flight, which ultimately left nearly 2 hours late despite good local weather. An announcement cited technical difficulties with the originally scheduled plane. Several small groups we recognized from embarkation on this LH400 flight filed lost luggage claims, as we did. Uncharacteristically bad planning by LH on food choices left our rows near the front of Economy without a choice of meals: only pasta, tasty though it was, was available. The chicken option was gone. The flight status video program function did not work for anybody near us despite three equipment restarts by the crew."

Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Voordelen: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."
