Nadelen: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"
Voordelen: "Can't think of. We have been using Singapore Air for years and they were good. However, our recent few flights with them have been disappointing (hence the need for this review) - there's nothing to be happy about."
Nadelen: "Writing on behalf of my wife. All staff that she met have sour face, perhaps to signal the passengers not to approach them? True enough, the cabin crew did not help her to place her bag in the luggage compartment; the cabin crew did not serve water when requested, and on second attempt, the cabin crew told her to request at the ground. The cabin crews she has encountered clearly expressed their unwillingness to serve with their face and action. Is this the new direction of Singaore Air? The entertainment system requires installation of an app, hence is practically useless since we do not have the app preinstalled in our device."
Nadelen: "The seats and entertainment system on our flight were in need of an upgrade. The seat padding was well worn and uncomfortable. The entertainment system is one of the old “pop-out the remote from the armrest” ones with a very average interface and display."

We were told to keep our seats upright during meal times and to keeo our window shutters down during other times. This made sense. They also had decent light snacks in case you were hungry between meals. I also loved the chairback setup and the entertainment unit. If flying economy, Singapore will be my airline of choice."

Nadelen: "I asked to be placed in a seat as close to the front as possible as I suffer from motion sickness in the back of the plane. I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

Nadelen: "For heaven's sake, please don't announce a boarding procedure and then not follow it. If you want to have a free-for-all rugby scrum to get on the plane, so be it. But don't announce boarding by rows/groups and then not make even a lame attempt to adhere to it."

This a rating for my whole trip to kathmandu not just Dubai to Kathmandu."

Was not allowed to board when I reached 8 min late due to heavy traffic on accident on highway. I had 50+ mins before flight departure but they didn't allow me to board. Paid extra money and reschedule for same day flight at 4:30pm and they delayed this flight departure by an hour without no problem. Too much biased."

Nadelen: "Cost saving cuts are evident around every corner. No more night mask, flight socks and toothbrush. No more hot lemon towel upon boarding (only towards end of flight). Food tray is smaller and more compact than before, turns Dinner into a game of Tetris (although, not a fun 'game'). Flights aboard A380 are much more comfortable than in Boeing 777."

Nadelen: "While most flight attendants are decent, a few are just not that great...making loud noises at the attendants compartments and chatting around while flyers are all sleeping, kick around garbages which makes loud noises too. Also the TV screen is a little hard to pull up at the front role."

Nadelen: "The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate."

Nadelen: "The economy seats are obviously not great. The extended legroom seats are still quite narrow, though the legroom is great."
Voordelen: "The crew were friendly, the entertainment on offer was broad and appealed to all passengers. The meal choices were very good, I requested the LFML options and all were good except for the light evening snack at the end of our second flight which was somewhat lacking in flavours and variety."
Nadelen: "The seats in economy felt cramped on the Boeing 700-300ER, with not much room to recline. This impacted on ability to fully relax and rest on such a long journey. This improved on the Airbus 350 thankfully, which much more leg room."

Voordelen: "Airlines staff took my complaint seriously and found the bag at Hongkong airport. Later the bag was brought to SFO and delivered at my temporary stay. Very good job done."
Nadelen: "On arrival on 10th Sep at SFO, I found one of my checked-in baggages was missing. This made me bit worried. I made a complaint to airlines staff there. Some inconveniences caused since I kept my needed cloths in that bag."
Voordelen: "The food was delicious! And they had a great selection of drinks at no additional price. The crew was very professional and welcoming. Overall so much better than any American airline I have flew with."

Voordelen: "Very quiet (A350), good crew who helped direct those unused to flying to the correct class. Good seat comfort and food, very good good entertainment. Toilets were cleaned periodically during the flight."

Crew were courteous and multilingual. Leg room felt a bit better than average for an international flight. Food was very tasty. The inflight entertainment selection and screen quality was excellent."
Nadelen: "They managed to run out of the Western breakfast option (which I did not want anyway, but many British tourists had to make do with yoghurt and fruit due to unfamiliarity with congee). The entertainment system is controlled by touchscreen only. An elegant solution that is simple to keep clean, but you get tired of holding your arm up at eye level."
Voordelen: "Food was better than other airlines for economy price. Movie selection quite good as well as other options. Liked the maps."
Nadelen: "My seat would not move back. The audio on the movies was very difficult to hear with background engine noise. Poor clarity, and the selection of movies was excellent, so I chose not to watch. Solitaire game was complicated to understand."

Nadelen: "The boarding process was slightly chaotic. I attribute that to anlanguage battier as most of thr passengers were Adain and probanly did not understand the instructions. It worked out though."
Voordelen: "Arrived 40 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time. Food and drinks on board were above expectation compared to other airlines like KLM, China Southern. Cathay delivered a smooth and great service throughout this trip as per usual."

In fact, no one was able to prove us with proper information on how to handle refunds. The next flight was late over an hour. No reason provided. Overall, no one knows what's up and any inconveniences are the customer's problem to deal with."

Nadelen: "Quantas seems to have frequent gate changes. You have to pay attention. No WiFi in terminals despite posted signs."
Nadelen: "The seats were much too close together for any comfort. Quite frankly, I booked with Qantas because I heard it was a good airline and comfortable. Riding on AA was NOT comfortable. If I wanted to ride AA, I would have booked them."

It was not properly draw my attention in advance via e-mail or text messages. For such a long flight, Qantas should have a better plane to server this route. Totally disappointed."
Voordelen: "This flight is extremely long, but very enjoyable when flying with Qantas. They have everything, from snacks and drinks in the back of the plane to coming by pretty often to give you food. I was never hungry or upset wth the service."

Nadelen: "Our first flight to LAX was delayed by 7 hours so we spent the day in Sydney airport, spending more money on meals that hadn’t been planned. Because of the delay, we missed our connecting flight from LAX to JFK. The flight we were re-booked on was also delayed for mechanical/paperwork issues so we arrived back home in NYC 8 hours later than originally scheduled. This caused us to spend more money on a taxi since it was too late to take public transportation. it also made it difficult to settle back in at home because both my husband and I had to get up early for work the next day and we missed several hours of unpacking and cooking time we would have had had our flight not been delayed."

Staff at baggage handling in Tokyo were extremely helpful But NO compensation was given to allow me to purchase Basic materials. I was yoke I can collect $80 at Sydney airport On return!!!!!"
