Nadelen: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Mainly because other passengers obviously don't read instructions re: weight/contents of cabin bags etc. Would be helpful if there was additional staff to deal with them away from check in desk. This would mean that others did not have to queue for 25 minutes because the check in girls also had to deal with them"

I asked when the meal would be and was told a few hours...which turned out to be breakfast..i wated all night for food that only came an hour before landing. Now hungrey and tierd.I.will not be flying klm ever again !!"

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Nadelen: "Lang wachten bij de incheck"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed once we had boarded, so we had to sit at the gate for about 2 hours, which was not the crew's fault of course, however, they could have offered drinks. Once we finally got in the air, they only offered purchasable snacks in a way that was confusing--and did not even come through the cabin with complimentary drinks. Given the circumstances, and the fact the time in our seats was extended by over two hours, there could have been some better service from the actual flight attendants. It should have been clearly stated at the beginning of the flight, and once more when we were in the air, that no complimentary drinks were going to be handed out, and if we wanted anything, we would need to purchase it. I wouldn't have minded purchasing if I had known that was my only option."

Voordelen: "Out of my four flights with Aer LIngus, this leg of my trip that both left and arrived on time. It is sad, that when landing they had to say thank you for flying another on time Aer LIngus flight. Makes me wonder how often are you not on time? My experience says 75% of the time your late."
Nadelen: "First off, don't try charging me 150 euros to check my bags when I already paid for it at booking. Then who charges for 2,50 for a can soda on an air plane? Lastly, I'm 6'4" and the seats were so close there was no way to sit without my knees pressed into the seat in front of me."

Nadelen: "You could offer small bottles of water as a courtesy. Online check in was difficult to navigate and ultimately unsuccessful. There was not a roamer person in baggage check in area to assist those with language barriers or even electronically challenged people which delays the process."

Nadelen: "We arrived at Dublin airport two hours before our flight--as instructed--and had to enter an enormous line. Finally, we were instructed to leave the line after almost an hour and a half and were then informed that our tickets had been sold to someone else (we were bumped!). Aer Lingus tried to "normalize" this by explaining that they always "overbook" by 10%. How irresponsible! Instead of arriving in Paris at 4:30 PM (a direct flight) we had to take a flight to London and then to Paris and arrived at 11 PM exhausted (the bus service to Paris had closed down and we had to take a taxi). We will never fly Aer Lingus again. Aer Lingus created the long line to create this very situation!"

Voordelen: "had trouble getting a ticket in the airport. was not checking a bag so they went out of their way to print one ensuring I did not have to wait in a large bag check line. seats have decent room, tv's had a great selection. food was good during the flight and staff was attentive. top 3 transatlantic flight for me(done around 20)"

Nadelen: "There was very little leg room, and no comfort for a tired traveler. This was the last leg coming in from Boston and having a 2 hour layover before continuing. The 2 hour trip seemed longer than the 6 hours it took to get to Dublin. The food service never even asked my row if they wanted to buy drinks/ food, even though my seat neighbor clearly put their tables down in anticipation of getting something to eat/ drink. A set of travelers had difficulty comprehending the rules about sitting in the exit row, and the stewardess was not very helpful, but looked angry and exasperated."

Nadelen: "The movie selections. Too much Sci-fi and/or action adventure. Please mix it up with a variety of genres"

Voordelen: "Sincerely polite cabin crew and the captain gave a detailed description of the flightpath - more than the usual elevation and travel time."

Nadelen: "Guy at check in was rude and insulting and my bag didn't arrive."

Nadelen: "Getting stuck in Detroit, failure to communicate, no food or water when we had waited on the tarmac over two hours in Detroit. Still no entertainment but air came back at hour three, then at 3.5 hours being told we are stuck in Detroit. Lost luggage, all a mess. Completely. No help to rebook, so I stayed in Detroit and got to the airport early the next morning and paid my own way to Omaha, through Chicago. Again, no help from the Aer Lingus hotline (tried/on hold for 2.5 hours with no human service) or the United desk."

Nadelen: "Booked for British airways flight that was changed to aer lingus Food was terrible, had to pay for drinks and snacks, 1 meal within the first 2 hours on a 12 hour flight, then nothing after, no water unless you went to galley and asked for some. If I wanted aer lingus I would have booked with them, not nearly the same quality as British airways. I won't use them for long haul flights again"

Nadelen: "Headphone jack was weird, only worked in one side. Entertainment options were poor, and highly edited. My luggage was bent on the top when I got to Newark."

Nadelen: "I'm soooo upset about the service after my flight canceled. 1.the staff ignored me when I asked if I could have a VIP to rebook my tickets earlier because my mom got cancel and was going to do the surge . But he went away and never came back, no any response of YES or NO. 2.I don't know why the airline company still need 11 hours to rebook the tickets with all our flight information and our passport liscen numbers already , making us waiting till 3 am at the airport. 3. I asked my boyfriend to talk to the staff on phone, and the staff told my BF that he didn't know my English was not good. I said to him loudly that I had told him , but the manager besides said "don't shout at my staff"to me, even without asking me what happened . Nadelen: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Voordelen: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Nadelen: "My seat was changed without my permission. Very unprofessional staff at Mumbai airport"

Voordelen: "I like that they still feed you and provide alcohol for free, even on a 40 min flight (unlike BA)."
Nadelen: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Voordelen: "Loved the lovely food and wine from Air France, they even serve fresh french bread with camembert, ice cream, champagne (in economy) and brandy with your coffee!"
Nadelen: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

Nadelen: "Delay over an hour"

Voordelen: "Plane was newer and the cabin crew were courteous."
Nadelen: "Gate people suck. I can’t even describe how rude and useless they were. There was a lot of them and none of them would have been better. I also was almost bitten by a large pit bull while waiting to board the plane."

Nadelen: "Headphone jack had something broken off in it, so no entertainment. Food was plain chicken with plain potato and plain carrot"

Voordelen: "The dinner was ample for airplane food."
Nadelen: "The seat was horribly narrow with little legroom and too much recline (barely room for tray table when person in front of me reclined, and the screen was in my face without being able to change angle). Crew could have been more attentive and generous with water. Beverage service rather limited."

Voordelen: "Cheap fair to Eastern Europe. Newer movies."
Nadelen: "Crammed seats. Flight delayed, almost missed connection flight. Luggage didn’t make it to the final destination. Luggage was delivered to my hotel in 2 days, but noticed they have been opened (had tapes around my bags, the tapes were cut/altered). Some stuff was missing. Worst."

Nadelen: "Movie or general didn't provide closed caption or subtitle for an English language."

Voordelen: "Complimentary upgrade to business class - wonderful!"

Nadelen: "I was traveling with 2 little kids. Plane was delayed but it happens. However crew and airport staff completely ignored requests for help. It started when they directed everyone to 3 flights of stairs, including people with strollers. It became worse after that."

Nadelen: "So late. Missed next flight. Could have been ok had crew got me off plane quicker like promised."

Nadelen: "On my flight there my built in tablet didn’t work so I didn’t have any entertainment for a long flight. My return flight was put on standby and I had to leave the next day instead. Stressful"

The food was good and service provided pleasant. I was happy that we landed safely providing bad weather in Toronto that evening."

Voordelen: "The crew was hospitable and warm. All the in-flight service was attentive and high-quality. We had a wonderful experience with LOT and would reccent them."
Nadelen: "The only potential difficulty was the short layovers. We made our connection boarding with only 20 minutes to spare."

Nadelen: "Messed up security clearance arrangement. Total confusion about secondary clearance requirement, only informed at boarding at gate that a lot of travelers needed secondary clearance. No objections to secondary clearance, but procedure a joke. Machine was half way down the terminal. Half hour wait, and you could have left your carry on with somebody else, get cleared by machine, pick up your bag again and get on board."

Nadelen: "The fact that we took off 1 hour late and no apologies have been given. No drink service ha been provided while everyone was just sitting there and waiting for takeoff. Normally the plane would catch up the 1 hr delay but not this time. We arrived 1 hour late."

Voordelen: "They had a overbooked flight I volunteer to give way my seat didn't ask for any money and return I lost my seat that I pay for it with no refund!"

Nadelen: "BROKEN LIGHT! I wish I had some tape or even a bandaid to block that annoying light- did not sleep at all"

Voordelen: "Very timely and organized."

Voordelen: "The actual flight was fine. Smooth flight. Nothing out of the ordinary."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed an hour. The crew in the Kiev airport wouldn't allow check-ins for a long period of time. Many people stood in a long line for at least an hour with no information about why they couldn't check in. When we did check in, they couldn't print my wife's boarding pass for the next flight and told us that we would have to print it at the gate. We found out in Poland that she was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With the flight delay and lack of information, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration."

Voordelen: "I like everything, except toilets."
Nadelen: "Toilets were too dirty. Crew must clean them continuously during the fly. But they didn't. They was unhappy about this duty. When we landed there were toilet paper on the floor even outside the toilets."

Nadelen: "I paid extra for my seat, but it was uncomfortable from LAX to Warsaw - too tight and cramped that the cabin was hot through most of the trip. Crew was okay, but for such a long trip, I would expect more comfort than what I get on short one-hour trips on small planes here in the US."

Voordelen: "Plane was 2 h deleyed but service and crew did exellent job."

Nadelen: "Then the flight from warsaw to JFK was fine, but when we landed there was only 10 minutes for me to get to my next flight and i asked the attendant if she could call my gate ahead and tell them I'm trying to make it, and she grunted and told me to sit back down. Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

Nadelen: "the economy class seats are torture for anyone of normal size. 10 hours with three 6-foot tall people crammed into a row was excruciating."

Voordelen: "Food was hot and tasty for dinner. Breakfast was not too bad either - but Polish food is always good. Crew were fine enough."
Nadelen: "The boarding process was a shambles. Many passengers stood in the ailses or were turned around talking to folks they knew - this clearly irked others - it was a bit too social and the staff did nothing."

Voordelen: "I guess the plane could have been cancelled, so I should be happy with that."
Nadelen: "Both planes were late taking off. My wife and I both checked our backpacks, her's made it, mine did not. If my bag comes in they will not deliver it unless someone is there to sign for it. That doesn't work well as we are on vacation and have plans/appointments to be out all day. I'm not sure if I'll ever see my bag again. Avoid this airline if possible. Also boarding is odd as you have to take a bus to the plane, which is slow, extremely crowded, and inefficient."

Voordelen: "Very comfy seats."

Nadelen: "We were placed at an international gate, had to wait for stairs (for the rear of the plane) and then a bus to the terminal. We arrived early but by the time we had waited for steps, bus etc, we were late!"

Voordelen: "Crew were great and really quick through terminal 5 even though it was the school Easter holidays.."
Nadelen: "It was only when we got on board realised food was card only and limited to lots of sandwiches..A lighter option like the Bols salad I bought at Smith's would have been nice and could be a veggie choice. Not a big issue though just you asked what can be better."

Voordelen: "Comfortable new plane, friendly staff."
Nadelen: "Not having over an hour delay followed by buses to disembark resulting in a missed connection."

Nadelen: "Never board check in luggage at lcy, they don't know what to do with it"

Nadelen: "Luckily the plane was delayed as my incoming flight was slightly delayed and BA had booked me on flights that take 40 minutes to get between gates I had to run. From there the delay grew as seems to be typical of BA at the moment. Also by the time the trolley made it to me there was only one sandwich choice left."

Voordelen: "Crew very professional and staff well informed."
Nadelen: "Feels like a bus in the sky. Same device as Ryanair but not on time."

Voordelen: "No drinks or snacks for econome class. Its just a 1 hour flight, KLM Does serve on 1 hour flights."
Nadelen: "See above."

Voordelen: "Good service, boarded quick and landed early"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Quick check in online, efficient auto bag check with helpful staff available, Quick efficient boarding, quiet flight less than half full."
Nadelen: "Being bumped to an earlier flight (7:15 from 11:20), not sure that was BA or the booking agent, but caused alteration of plans and hotel being booked."

Voordelen: "I left my laptop behind accidentally in the hand luggage space as I had to separate my hand luggage due to other seats nearby who boarded earlier used the space over my seating row. BA crew found my laptop and the swiss lost property retrieved it for me. Very thankful for their honesty"
Nadelen: "My seating was directly behind a curtain and partition to business class, therefore my seating space was very limited and squashed. No refreshments unless you paid??? why?? I would expect this from companies such as Easyjet or Virgin, but not BA. Even Qantas provided a light refreshment for short runs, say between Canberra and Sydney (Im an aussie)"

Nadelen: "Arrived pm from manchester stayed in hotel at heathrow to fly out following day to Basel at 8am. BA would not check bag all way through. Seems they only do this at Gatwick. Poor service from Heathrow/BA"

Nadelen: "Food not so good. Storage locker against the side bulkhead was constantly difficult to open."

Voordelen: "Price was goo £200 cheaper than the BA price"
Nadelen: "Cabin very cold over the whole journey at the end of the day you pay peanuts get monkeys But BA has a very tired fleet compared to say Emerites"

Voordelen: "Doordat wij op het bovendeks zaten konden we meteen boarden. Vriendelijke purser die overal de tijd voor nam."
Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Nadelen: "Crews hair all seemed to be scruffy with bits hanging in their face. Most unlike BA. Only thing I can think of all rest was faultless"

Voordelen: "British airways have always been good and my best airline to fly."
Nadelen: "This occasion, the manager was So rude to me and even called me a liar in front of too many people. I don't speak or understand French and the woman really embarrassed my life. I checked-in online before I got to the airport and I mistakenly went to terminal 1 instead of terminal 2. So by the time I realised and got to terminal one, the baggage collection stand had closed because I was there by 15:18. To make the long story short, I got through the security where I was delayed for 20mins searching through my things and when I asked about time, the security said the flight won't leave with out me and they would inform them about the delay before I get to my departure gate. Anyway, I got to the gate with some time left and this extremely rude woman whom I was told is the manager insulted the living day light out of my life and turned me back. So I didn't fly with BA in the end. No matter the situation and despite me being late, I believe things would have been handled better. And even if the manager felt I was lying, she should have been more diplomatic about it and speak to me in a good manner. I won't be recommending flying BA from Nice to anyone. That woman was so hurrible, that experience haunts me psychologically."

Nadelen: "My in flight entertainment was broken and that us quite a disadvantage on a 12 hour flight. I was told it was because the airplane was "very old" which whilst it may be true it is not something I particularly want to hear. I was also told that as the flight was full I could only move seats if someone wanted to swap. I'm not sure if the flight attendant was expecting me to stand up and make a public request?!"

Voordelen: "The crew were the epitome of professionalism, deftly dealing with the the predictable problems that come with a fully-booked flight on an elderly aircraft. I almost never complete these customer surveys, but on this occasion I felt obliged to make a statement in support of the cabin crew, who were amongst the best I've encountered in nearly four decades of air travel."

Nadelen: "Delay on take off even though we was early loaded, rusty wings on the plane made you wonder if it would make it!"

Voordelen: "Flight was on time. Check in staff, Lounge + lounge staff and Cabin crew were on par with expectations (very good). Disembarking the plane at Heathrow was organised, immigration process (I used the e-gates) was very quick and bags arrived promptly."
Nadelen: "Many ground staff on hand - but felt overall lack of coordination specifically after security check at the gate, with yet another boarding card check which seemed a bit pointless as boarding cards were checked before gate security as well? Eventually boarding the plane - one lady ended up in the wrong line for upper deck seating (which shows that the numerous boarding card checks they failed to give proper guidance on what line to join)."

Voordelen: "Online check in & boarding pass on your phone using BA app."
Nadelen: "Seats are quite cramped"

Voordelen: "Good flight, bit bumpy due to weather."
Nadelen: "4-hour delay for a 40minute flight"

Nadelen: "It is a very good flight i seen. The flight was timely. Landing was very good."

Nadelen: "The plane was dirty. My tray table hadn't been wiped down in a long time, and the prior passenger's used flight socks had not been removed from the drawer. The pillow was laughable - - flat as a pancake. . One of the business class lavs was out of service. . This was an overused 777 desperately in need of a refurbishment. And don't get me started on the ridiculous 2-4-2 seating in business class. How does BA think it can get away with it, when competitors offer 1-2-1?"

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Voordelen: "The flight was so somth"
