Voordelen: "The crew worked hard despite a delay caused by holding up all flights due to a lightning strike in the area that caused ground staff to halt work. We were within five minutes of departure and then had a 45 minute delay"
Nadelen: "It took 90 minutes to get our check luggage in Las Vegas. Our flight number was taken off of the board with about 2/3 of the luggage delivered. This caused a huge queue at the baggage claim office. Folks did not seem to have a clue what was going on."

Despite guaranteeing anyone with a connecting flight would all be taken care of, here I am still stuck in Amsterdam airport... delayed another 10 hours. The service after arrival was poor and slow..2 hours to get new flight"
Nadelen: "The travel agents assisting should have been ready for the number of passengers and triaged accordingly. They did not. Which meant a lot of us standing in line for hours missing new connecting flights."

The was not a vegan option for dinner. I thought the pilot announced complimentary beverages; soft drinks, coffee, tea & alcohol. Perhaps I was mistaken or maybe he was. I like the seats (reclining back with the seat bottom moving forward) except the seat bottom is entirely too hard and was bad for my back. The hot towels are a welcome touch. The ride was smooth, the pilots did a very good job."

Voordelen: "When I arrived at Detroit I noticed there was an earlier flight going out to Amsterdam. The nice Delta rep gave me a new boarding pass for the earlier flight because there were empty seats on that plane."
Voordelen: "I paid 60 bucks for an emergency row exit, take get some extra leg room and space so that I would be fresh when I arrived in Munich. However KLM allowed a passenger — who did not pay for the emergency row to sit next to me because he needed the extra space because he was a liarge man, and clearly didn’t fit very well in the economy seats. Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well."
Nadelen: "I did not get a choice of seat for the one and a half hour flight from Amsterdam to Munich and I sat in a middle row for the first time in 20 years."
Nadelen: "The vegan meal was not good"
Voordelen: "It got me there in one piece. USB ports, entertainment system a good distraction."
Nadelen: "Terrible food, aisles too tight, seats not very comfortable. 777’s are very noisy. Visas on arrival a ridiculous disaster- 100’s of people standing in lines for over an hour while 3 people slowly stamp your passport. Know that is not the airline’s fault!"

Nadelen: "It was an older 747 which didn’t have power to the Sears. The video system was also old with poor quality."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."
Nadelen: "Erg opeengepakt geklemd. Mijn bloed stolde bijna."
Voordelen: "The food was good. The entertainment choices were plentiful."

Voordelen: "The flight from AMS to NYC was good. Great staff, easy boarding."
Nadelen: "The flight from EWR....the ground crew was nothing short of a disaster. All paperwork was checked during check only to be told at the gate that we needed a "blue sticker" which no one had before we could get on the plane. This caused the ENTIRE flight to basically have to check in again and show documentation. I was also asked rather rudely from one of the ground crew "if I had ever traveled before". I will never fly United again...rude, disorganized, horrible inflight service."
Nadelen: "Lack of information about getting Visa Schengen to pass a transit hours cost me $300 and loosing my trip"

Nadelen: "We were sitting in our assigned seats and the flight attendants and gate staff entered the plane were trying to say we were in the wrong seats. Then my special meal was not provided so I ate nothing during flight."

Nadelen: "Seating on United sucks. Seats are not comfortable and don't recline to the degree that Deltas does for standard cabin. Boarding for both my united flights has always been delayed. they are never on time. Ill go back with Delta and pay a little extra for the comfort and timeliness."

United airlines did not even give us a voucher for a hotel this causing us to spend more money. We will now arrive in Amsterdam a whole day late missing our check in"

Nadelen: "Had to pay $180+ extra to get a seat with decent leg room. Had small child next to me who was not well behaved. Limited bathrooms. Cooler vent blowing right on me which I couldn't move. Long delay before and after boarding, and left an hour late."

Nadelen: "We took off about three hours late because of a small mechanical problem discovered after we boarded. The plane had been sitting at Dulles for 12 hours. Couldn't it have been checked earlier in the day?"

Voordelen: "No delays for flight, despite weather."
Nadelen: "Lack of legroom or recline in seats. I know it’s economy, but come on. We’re not sardines."
Voordelen: "That the flight was on time"
Nadelen: "I flew with 1 child and 1 infant and there was no help, not at check in, not at boarding nor from the crew on board. I requested a bassinet before the flight over the phone and didn't get it. There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

Nadelen: "I did like the food option. I don't eat cheese and all the food had cheese in it."

Voordelen: "There were extra seats due to few passengers. We were very timely in leaving and landing. The dinner was good. I had pasta with spinich and a red and white sause. Very tasty and hot. They came around with plenty of water. The ticket price was very reasonable."
Nadelen: "This flight was on United. So, there was no internet to purchase as the emails from Lufthansa claimed there would be. I woke up in the middle of the night and went to 3 open seats and laid across them. It was dark and I did not realize that I had moved to Economy Plus. The flight attendant told me that I should not have been there, that she could have charged me for the difference in the seat. Prior to this I felt pretty good about the flight. There was no reason for her to treat me that way. It was apparent that it was a mistake and not done purposely."
Nadelen: "I didn't go. It was $400 just to change my name on my ticket from my maiden name to my married name. I am so disappointed and will never use Kayak again!!!"
