Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

First meal service from Doha to Washington (IAD) took nearly 2.5 hours to reach my home after the service started. The male attendants were sloppy, not well organized. When asked why it takes so long, the answer I got: "We were not prepared to meet the customer's preferences." But that does not excuse the long delay in serving row 36."

When I retrieved the bags on the carousel, the fragile sticker was mangled, and both items from both bags were broken. Pieces of art I can not replace. Also, it took over 30 minutes upon multiple requests for the attendant to acknowledge my need for assistance."

Voordelen: "Excellent experience overall, the food was decent, the seats were comfortable and had enough space for me at 6ft tall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, entertainment selection was good with plenty of new movies out. I had no problems with my layover. The baggage allowance was great as I had extra luggage from my trip. I'm very happy with their customer service, the day before my first flight I received a phone call from Qatar's customer service saying that due to delays I wouldn't be able to make my connecting flight to Edinburgh so they would like to book me on another flight instead of me having to wait 24 hours in Doha. I was thoroughly impressed with this service."

After 20-30 minutes of wait, I finally got my ticket but the security and custom lines were very long by that time. Never flying Qatar again."

New Istanbul airport is not fully ready for passengers. In some toilets weren’t water and papers. Very long walking distance till passport control area, we walked about 20 minutes."

Voordelen: "I bought a ticket for three persons: my wife, my daughtet and me. I am Nigerian, my daughter American, and my wife's Turkish. However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."
Nadelen: "They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least."

When I told them about the price of the tickets online, the response of the customer service agent was "yeah, sometimes the penalties are high". He didn't do anything to try to help. The entire Turkish airlines team at IST is the biggest joke for a customer service team I have ever encountered in any line of business. I have never met a group of "professionals" that are so unprofessional, rude, void of empathy, and overall customer service knowledge than the turkish airlines team at IST. I will never conduct business with Turkish Airlines again and will ensure all my friends, family, and colleagues try their best to avoid them too."

Customer service is terrible. The most unprofessional, rude, ignorant, and disrespectful staff represent Turkish Airlines at IST. Furthermore, an email complaint has been ignored."

Voordelen: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Nadelen: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

I had a another man with broad shoulders like me next to me and had to spend the next 9 hours leaning to the other side to fit. Asked for help to find a different seat even if I had to pay for an upgrade and was told I couldn’t do that after the flight had started"

Nadelen: "The plane was dirty. The seatback was not clean, and the tray table was stained. The 9-hour flight did not have any USB ports or outlets for charging. The touchscreen did not work well, and my seat would not move forward or back without me pushing or pulling it. This"

When we arrived, they had our family of five sitting in three different rows. Two of our young children had to sit alone, eight rows away from the nearest parent. After telling them we would not board sitting apart like that, they moved us closer together but still separate from two of our children. Highly disappointed."

Nadelen: "Staff was rude at the terminals and a lot of frowning faces on the plane. My seat was constantly bumped by crew with no acknowledgement. The boarding was confusing and disorganized to the point the boarding agent was not sure which gate handled which group ( they use 2 for these big planes)and kept calling out the wrong information. Passengers could not believe it. Tight seats for an overseas flight."

Voordelen: "Lufthansa always does an excellent job, even with a gate change."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendlier. the plane was way cleaner than the previous one. The food was more decent."
Nadelen: "The crew wasn't too willing to help with the carry-on baggage, for example - I kept looking for a while for an available spot to deposit mine."

Voordelen: "30 minutes late boarding; food quite simple; entertainmentsystem very faulty"

Nadelen: "Whole experience with them was a nightmare and is still ongoing. They won't help me so I had to turn to Amex to settle everything and get my money back. Unbelievable. The airport had to close due to an emergency, that's out of Lufthansa's hands I obviously understand that. However, the way we were "helped" through all of this was unbelievable- over two and a half hours of phone calls with them, while in Europe (so paying God knows what per minute), 4 hours to get my luggage back so we could leave, absolutely no one from Lufthansa around to help or even tell us what's going on, put us on a flight the following day with two layovers now (paid more for only one layover but what can I do). Next day, at Alitalia gate (Lufthansa put me on an itinerary with flights from Alitalia, Lufthansa and United) had to pay AGAIN to check the bag that I had just paid to check the previous day where we did not end up flying anywhere (showed Alitalia the receipt, they didn't care in the slightest and said its Lufthansas problem, 0 stars for them as well), either way finally got through our 2 layovers, only to discover the final leg of our trip (United/ Lufthansa flight) is delayed 3 hours. Just about to board, now it's delayed another 5 hours. Because we were short a pilot...... Short a pilot, really....? Ended up getting home at 2am on a work night, completely jet lagged and utterly exhausted from being in an airport for 2 straight days. Supposed to get compensation as per United flight crew, only I put my ticket information in the website and it doesn't work for me of course because I have a Lufthansa ticket. No one cares, no one helps, now it's time for Amex to step in and get all of my money back."

Voordelen: "The flight was cancelled. I miss two days of my vacation. I won't leave until this evening. The customer services is suck, waiting for almost 40m before someone answer the phone. Who ever answer the phone I had a hard time of understanding him."

Nadelen: "US bought carry on case been requested to be checked as a second baggage piece for $100 fee. And then both opened lost and not reached destination."

Nadelen: "They list checked our stroller in at the gate but didn’t give it back at our layover in Moscow 6 hour carrying a baby. And when we went to their desk immediately after getting off our plane from Sofia to Moscow they wouldn’t even call the plane to see if it was there."

Voordelen: "The flight was on time. The crew was friendly and helpful. The food was fine for such a short flight."
Nadelen: "Boarding process was not well-organized. Specifically, there was no announcement of the boarding starting or continuing. You just had to know when it's supposed to start and show up at the gate. Boarding is general, without any division by rows or groups, which means people in row 6 and in row 20 board at the same time, creating a long line. This slows down the boarding process and causes frustration in less patient people."

Voordelen: "Easy boarding from terminal directly to plane, no bus transport in between."
Nadelen: "Check in crew not very accommodating, although I was the first person to arrive at check in at 1:30 a.m., the desk operator professional, but not friendly."

Voordelen: "Very spacious seats, good food, good time for the duration!"
Nadelen: "Stewardess’ were a bit ignorant and rood at times, I understand the flight was bumpy, lots of turbulence, but still not a reason for their attitude!"

Voordelen: "Friendly flight attendants, comfortable seats, good refreshments and meal. I fell asleep early in the flight and woke as the crew was cleaning up from the meal service. I asked if I could have a meal and yes, they would prepare one for me. Very gracious. I also had a problem that my luggage transferring from another airline in London, with a very short layover, did not make my flight. Aeroflot personnel at SVO Moscow took care of this and my luggage was delivered the next day in perfect shape."

Nadelen: "booking this flight was a nightmare. after several calls i was told i can upgrade to a seat with more legroom in economy plus at the airport counter for 12 Euros. it then turned out it cost me $80 for just one leg of the trip, and it wasn't economy plus, but a very narrow seat in an exit row right next to a toilet. The phone customer service was rude, unprofessional, and uninformed."

Nadelen: "1)during the connection we were standing for half hour 300 people in a small room w/o air condition! with only 2 security check stands 1for all of us 2) t"

Nadelen: "I was on that plane for 11 hours from boarding to getting deiced to a 10 hour flight to JFK. I sat between to big guys in coach. Very little room to function. The inflight entertainment system didn't work so no movies, music, or anything to make the time go by. Normally I would bring something but the inflight entertainment was so good on the flight from JFK to SVO that it didn't occur to me to bring anything. That was a brutally long flight. Other than that snafu, I love Aeroflot."

Voordelen: "They give you a pillow, blanket, and other goodies to help you feel comfortable. Decent selection of movies and free food and beverage service was nice."

Nadelen: "I haven't flown Aeroflot since early 1990s. Will not fly it again. Boarding was a mess. Then sat on the plane for almost 2 hours. Don't even try their food. Legroom in economy worse than on US flights. Touchscreen didn't work. And, they left ALL the luggage in LAX. Spent 4 hours in SVO filling out papers for the lost/delayed luggage."

Voordelen: "Flight attendants were cheerful and pleasant, good choice of movies, food was decent."
Nadelen: "Rude service at check-in. No eye contact from personnel. Online check in did nothing to expedite the process; we had to wait in line with everyone. Airport personnel did an okay job maintaining order with the extremely slow line. Security/TSA was typical for JFK - rude barking of orders, barely comprehensible even for me (a native New Yorker). No signs telling people to take out laptops or remove shoes. Staff joke among themselves while treating passengers rudely. It's an embarrassment to me as an American. I don't know why they can't fix this pathetic state of affairs. Other airports do it much more efficiently and politely."

Voordelen: "We were traveling from Moscow to Zurich and had just 1,5 hrs time gap between the flights. I know, this is very short, but still we were hoping to get our baggage on time. Unfortunately, it did not happen. We were told that our baggage is "still in Moscow" when we arrived to Zurich. This is second time it happens while traveling with Aeroflot from Moscow. ."
Nadelen: "Lost baggage"

Voordelen: "I wasn't sure what to expect, but the airline was better than I thought. Good food (2 servings), decent entertainment, and nice amenities (pillows, eye mask, slippers) for economy class for an international flight. For the price I paid, I would fly Aeroflot again. I wish I would have gotten my Russian transit visa prior to my trip. I knew about it, I just didn't want to pay the $200. SVO airport is great and open 24hr, but having a 20hr layover is tough. p.s. Don't let a hotel/Airbnb tell you you don't need a visa - you do! I watched 2 girls have meltdowns in the airport because they had hotel reservations, but no visas. Sad, wet eyes does nothing for Russian airport officials."
Nadelen: "The staff, but you have to remember that Russian customer service is different from American. Some of the staff were really friendly and nice. I think they were compensating for the overtly rude ones, so it even itself out. Boarding at the airport isn't always clear if your flight is boarding or not. Pay extra attention to your gate and time changes."

Nadelen: "I can't call you when I had problems that I want to reserve seat and check in online from China.So I had to my son' s help from America."

Nadelen: "The check-in process is always crazy slow, resulting in major back-ups around the check in desk. Even if you check in online, you still have to wait in the same check in line to drop off your luggage. The boarding process is typically also a bit crowded and slow."

Voordelen: "Aeroflot is providing better service than some American airlines."
Nadelen: "Boarding pass gate is not fixed. You can lose your connecting fight if you don't know Russian and don't listen carefully to announcements which themselves are not clearly audible. It needs to provide free Wi-Fi like Delta."

Nadelen: "Food on the second leg. Stewardess were unfriendly..."

Voordelen: "Flight was delayed 6 hours. Had to wait for 40 minutes ubtil they figured out whether to take a drhnk guy off ths flight or not. Then another 40 mins to do the deicing procedure. Then another 20 minutes to park the plain after landing. Instead of getting home at 13.15 I got out if the plane at 8 PM. Nit the friendliest crew and poor quality food. Overall I am very unhappy with the trip."

Nadelen: "The bathrooms were very gross. They definitely needed a lot more attention. It seemed that maybe the plane was understaffed. Our foods trays sat in front of us for quite some time before being removed."

Nadelen: "The flight SU 103 leaving from JFK to Moscow on October 6 2016 was cancelled due to technical reason. The plane took off flew over JFK for 2 hours and made an emergency landing back in JFK. The customer service was horrible. People were in line for 3 hours at the aeroflot register to get into hotels after the flight cancellation. Today is day 4 after the flight - I'm trying to return my money for the flight - the customer service pretty much is not existing - no one picks up the phone - no one replies my emails. I have to go to the credit company to dispute charges for the cancelled flight."

Nadelen: "Check in queue at BHX very long. Delay departure from Moscow. 5 hour wait at Moscow. Excess baggage charged. Could not choose seats for Aeroflot legs of the journey. Lost luggage."

Voordelen: "The crew was extremely efficient."
Nadelen: "However, the customer service could have been a bit better especially when it comes to speaking English. There were a few times where I just felt I was a bother because I'm not sure how well they understood me."

Nadelen: "My connecting flight was on time, yet I had to rush just to barely make my flight on time (It was boarding while I was still in the security line). Again Russians were trying to cut in front of me in line, but I wasn't having it this time. No entertainment on the flight, the food was just ok, and the leg room was horrible."

Voordelen: "The flight from Istanbul to Prague was fairly basic but everything worked well and was comfortable. The flight was on time. The bags were delivered quickly. There were no problems on the flight as it was relatively quiet. Overall, no complaints."
Nadelen: "The boarding in Istanbul was via bus, which is not only uncomfortable but impossible to socially distance on. In Prague we deplaned via a jetway. In Istanbul the gate control person was overly vigilant in checking documents. It was very disturbing :("

After deboarding from the plane, it was a bit unclear whether to board a bus or walk into the International Terminal. Perhaps more frequent flyers are familiar with this routine, but signage would assist new passengers."

In both of my flights between Istanbul and Amsterdam, the airplane was not cleaned off of the previous flight's trash. When I was seated in my first flight to Amsterdam, my tray had a lot of stains of food and drinks. Not a pleasant sight! In my flight back to Istanbul, I had to travel looking at a former passenger's waste, such as a used napkin tissue, stuck to the handle of the seat, and a chocolate package. I also have to say that the sinks of the bathrooms do not drain properly, so you, actually, cannot leave the place clean for the next person. All in all, this company definitely needs to work on the cleanliness of their aircraft. Thank you!"

Nadelen: "The first leg of my trip (Lviv to Istanbul) was delayed without warning. It made me miss my flight to Almaty and the next flight wasn't for two days. None of the Pegasus crew (on the flight from Lviv) seemed to care that I had a flight very soon after landing, even though I was a female passenger alone. They wouldn't call the gate or look up if my flight to Almaty was delayed once we arrived."

Nadelen: "the air conditioner didnt work in the plane and they took very high rate for extra bag of 180 Euro!"

Voordelen: "Was first to check-in and received exit-row seat with its extra leg-room."
Nadelen: "Exit row seats do not recline .. so could not lie-back on this overnight flight."

Nadelen: "Crew lacks professionalism and courtesy. Distance, between rows, is small, a few cms (5-7) more, will bring great benefit. The bathroom was dirty and out of paper, towards the end of the flight. It wasn't very clean to star with."

The seats were fine and I slept through the flight so I cannot comment on the food but everything was clean and the staff was polite. The style of the aircraft is what shocked me. It seemed modern and almost like they hired an interior design person for style not function."

Nadelen: "I came four hours before my flight, about 4 a.m.. two and a half was spent sending me back and forth because they couldn't agree on what was an appropriate price to charge me for extra baggage. The girl at the baggage counter called Pegasus and they told her the amount. When I got back to the baggage counter, the man there started checking my bags then the supervisor started yelling at me and him, because of a "miscommunication" between the other girl and Pegasus. I heard the other girl explain, and it was no communication. The supervisor as she called herself was extremely rude and short tempered with EVERYONE. Plus, they wanted to charge me 215 dollars for one extra bag. Really? I finally took a few things out and got away with under 90 dollars from the 20 dollars they were going to charge me before. I would have been happy to book with another airline that would have easily come under that price, and I barely got to my gate on time. I booked with Turkish air prior and it was 200 dollars round trip and I was very happy. My bags and food were free. When I got to Turkey to change flights, we had to get off the plane we were on and get on another, and my flight was over two hours delayed. We had to stay at the gate, and so I couldn't buy food at the airport. I would have gotten to Frankfurt at two so the small breakfast I had would have been ok, and now I had to buy food on the plane because I had planned also to meet a friend for dinner outside of Frankfurt before another flight (actually the entire reason I was flying with Pegasus in the first place) and now I wouldn't make it. Can you imagine spending all that money plus a hotel and the entire reason you went is just gone and you have to deal with all of this? So I go to buy food on the plane and I'm told my credit card doesn't work. The funny thing is, previously I checked my bags with the same credit card, and afterwards I rented a car and hotel with the same card. I knew my credit card worked. I made her try it again and nothing. So I just had to live on the small amount of yogurt I had had that morning. There was no apologies or anything for everything we went through except when my credit card wouldn't work the flight attendant gave me some coffee for free. I'm not a complainer and actually travel quite a bit (I've been traveling for 3.5 months straight all over europe and the middle east). This has been the only negative experience I've had. I truly believe that Pegasus does not care about keeping customers. I really feel like I've been treated like dirt, and that I was tricked into booking with them. I've always booked with Kayak and will continue to, but I would reconsider working with Pegasus if I were you. The other discounters like Ryanair are just fine. But this experience made me extremely angry and I will never book with Pegasus again."
