Tried to rebook and was told to pay the $800 per ticket that we already paid. Who has that kind of money? Guess I'll see if she can settle for sea world or the damn beach instead of Egypt like she wanted to. Thanks for nothing. For absolutely nothing."

On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

Voordelen: "I love how Turkish Airlines is such a pleasant flying experience and how everything is included in the price. Delicious meals that are better than going to a restaurant, the head rests that bend in so you can sleep with or without a neck pillow (I had absent-mindedly packed my pillow in my baggage and was delighted to discover these), the little pouch of goodies (socks, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, eyemask, lip balm, ear plugs), and the pleasantness of the crew are all highlights for me. And I was delighted by the magical flight safety video! Thank you also for passing out little sweets on New Year's - that was such a lovely touch and appreciated. Everyone who has flown Turkish agrees it's the best!"

From buses to plane, instead of separating people into buses according to seating, they mixed them all up, hence people who had seats up front were entering the rear of the plane and vice-versa, causing incredible congestion and confusion when boarding, people along the center aisles going both ways and trying to pass while loaded with hand baggage, quite ridiculous indeed."
Nadelen: "in a previous email we explained that by the time we arrived at the gate in Sao Paulo, the airline refused our boarding the plane and said only "we don't like Kayak". We never boarded the plane and there was a credit to our credit card, so why are you asking how our flight went?"

Voordelen: "The flight was delayed several times due to bad weather in Tampa. The gate agent was good at explaining the problem and said it was the FAA that had put a ground stop in place. It was nice to be informed about what was going on."
Nadelen: "The cabin was very noisy -- don't know if the AC fans were cranked up or what, but the constant roar made it difficult to converse with the crew about snack and drink choices."

Voordelen: "How does one describe spending 10+ hours in a metal tube approximately 18 feet wide at 30,000 feet with 300 of your closest friends breathing the same air while having the seat in front of you pushed back so you cannot adequately see the passenger monitor because it's too close to focus on as your knees are under your chin? Flying in "steerage" is not comfortable as humans get larger and airplane seats get squeezed smaller. Please unsqueeze! Cabin crew members were excellent. Other than that, Europe was great!"

Nadelen: "Lines was confusing and the various boarding tiers were not announced properly (Delta One, Sky Priority, and Zone 1 were all together and Zone 2 started boarding way before the priority lane was finished)."
Voordelen: "On the fight back I had enough space; good service; fine food. Great trip. On the way to Amsterdam, I sat next to a very overweight woman and her body hung over my seat. I couldn't move around enough and I ended up with a trigger point problem which immobilized me for 3 days and kept me from sleeping at night. It was very disappointing, since this was a family visit trip."

She was rude and unprofessional. Taking off and landing was a little rough. Entertainment on the plane was limited and a little outdated."

Eventually the agent I was checking in with got busy, I went to a new agent, and with a flick of a keyboard he approved the extra rate based on my status, without even have my to request it."

Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "for a 9.5 hour flight, the seat was actually pretty comfortable. The A330 is definitely more comfortable than 767. While the food sucked on my outbound flight from atlanta to london, the food on the amsterdam to atlanta flight was pretty good. there was a lunch, a snackbox and then a hot snack before landing. There was plenty of beer to drink so that made the flight better."
Nadelen: "first, the entertainment system was busted. you could use the flight tracker and play games, but couldn't watch any movies or tv shows. They only told us about this 5 minutes before boarding. There was wifi so you could stream shows to a tablet, but that assumed you had a tablet and that it was charged because the usb ports on the nonfunctioning entertainment system were, you guessed it, nonfunctional. Fortunately we had charged tablets and were able to stream some shows but they kept buffering and locking up because the gogo wifi wasn't working very well. About half the flight attendants were friendly but the other half obviously didn't want to be there. The last half hour was pretty bumpy due to remants of a hurricane in the area. The person behind me was frantically looking for a barf bag but we found out that most of the seats didn't have them. So that could have been ugly. I flew delta for the skymiles but based on this trip I will either fly on their partners (virgin, klm, airfrance) for reduced mile credit, or choose a different airline."

Nadelen: "We were arbitrarily re-seated due to equipment changes, back and forth and lost our original seat selection even though we wound up on a plane with the original configuration. An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section."

Het zitcomfort was ronduit slecht. Personeel was als doorgaans top.

Covid protocol was badly monitored. Coughing people without a mask. Thank you KLM for your ignorance.

Gedoe met teveel passagiers die weigeren een mondkapje op te doen en een kat/muis spel spelen met de bemanning. KLM kwaliteit als vanouds, maar verziekt door dit soort medepassagiers.

Nadelen: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

After a 3 hour delay that caused me (and tons of others) to miss a connecting international flight, LATAM’s telephone servers had the nerve to claim I was a no show and needed to pay them for my absence. This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"

Nadelen: "Crew forced me to change my upgraded comfort seat to accommodate a 12 year old who they knew was going to be airsick. So I spent the first half of the flight next to a vomiting girl. Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."
Voordelen: "Crew was really good, polite, efficient. The aircraft was relatively new and clean (rare for an airline to provide a new craft on an Africa segment). Food was good, seats comfortable. Will definitely make them my airline of choice to the extent that I can cost wise."

Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early..."

Nadelen: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Nadelen: "We were in the last few rows on a turbulent route. The yaw damper constantly overcorrected, resulting in lots of side to side motion for the passengers"
Voordelen: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

Voordelen: "The free glass of red wine when the plane finally took off."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed. We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"
Voordelen: "It was a wonderful flight and service . Hospitality and welcoming."
Nadelen: "Nothing everything was amazing ."
Voordelen: "nice drink selection on board flights"
Nadelen: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Nadelen: "Canceled flight—absolutely no notification. Convoluted rebooking in whcuhbhey lies to us about what flights we were actually on. Spent a couple hours at Delta rebooking our trip. Lost prepaid night at hotel and dinner eaecatuon plus day of vacation."
Voordelen: "The crew was super friendly and always gave the feeling that they want the customers to feel comfortable and enjoy the flight. One of the crew members even offered me to move to an emergency exit seat (without me asking to move) because I am tall. Amazing!"
Nadelen: "Vlucht door vertraging van uit lax gemist op een paar minuten"
Nadelen: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."
Voordelen: "Very poor sound quality on the earphones. Made it very difficult to watch a movie and almost impossible to listen to music."

Nadelen: "Even though the plane was far from full, passengers were allowed only 1 carry-on item (no personal item), contrary to policy published online by Air France. This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"
Nadelen: "Disappointed to get delayed due to control tower issues at CdG. Landed more than 30 mins late in London"
Voordelen: "Always like Air France. They are in tune with keeping the traveler updated."
Nadelen: "Walked all over the terminal looking for signage for Croatia Airlines. Information services sent me to the right location, but it was marked Air France. I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!"
