I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

Nadelen: "Rather long wait at business check-in, friendliness there ok, on board service slow with the champagne, old aircraft with old configuration of seats, nothing really bad, but it's not like this that you win an airline of the year award!"

Nadelen: "It is so annoying they want you to pay an extra $20 to pre book any seat. If you need the extra $20 that much, charge me in the original fare! Don't nickel and dime me. At check in they couldn't even get my child seated beside me although a change was made last minute at the gate. Every other airline I've flown recently was better. Sri Lankan and Emirates FAR better service."

Even the seatback pockets are better with multiple pockets including one that fits most mobile phones. The windows turn tinted blue instead of drawing shades down—what?!"

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

Voordelen: "I loved the professionalism of the crew, and how they treat the passengers with such care. I prefer Singapore airlines over any other. Seats are very comfortable. This craft had touch screen monitors that worked well. I was able to use my own ear buds by pulling the jack out part way."
Nadelen: "I really only have one gripe. I wish there were more movie choices for adults that did not have foul language and immoral scenes."

Instead the FA looked at my bag and asked me in an irritated tone if my bag was really that heavy? I said I was recovering and I just need an extra push once I lift it up into the cabin. In the end she did help but i did not appreciate her attitude and felt disappointed my whole flight."

Most unreasonable, cheating me of my payment. I have since sought legal advice and contacted travel agent regarding, seems case law from several instances in my support. I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

No more slippers, eyes cover and no more other necessities for intercontinental flights ! What a shame for SQ to save the money on such important things for passengers. Staff was over indulging, someone would say - fake kindness shown ..."

And the most expensive aircompany should not be stingy and provide to passengers on intercontinental flights just toothbrush and socks in traveler pack !!! What a shame for SQ !"

They made me transfer my booking for another day and told me to go to the embassy for a visa. Then they didn’t issue the boarding pass for the replacement flight"

The flight information on the screens would say "go to gate", "last call", etc, several times, but they weren't boarding, they didn't even have a gate assigned to them! Passengers just stood around confused for many hours. This at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz Airport, by far the worst airport I have ever been at in the world."

First the transit area is crowded and very small The transit airport is only for Saudi airlines , they have only one lounge which is not supporting any Visa card ( means if your Visa card allow you to enter for free lounge you will not find it case it will be in the main airport which they will not allow you to go their and if you want to enter the only lounge their means you must pay or to be alfursan member ) . Second when we enter the airplane and when we reach the runway the captain announced (We have technical problem and we will go back to the gate to fix it) . We stayed 2 hours plus in the airplane then they said we fix it and we will start our journey now . Third :When I reached cairo airport sound 3:30 am , i didn’t find my only bag :( Not only me , around 15-20 passengers had same issue . We went to the counter and they said it’s usually happens in Saudi airlines in the busy season , I was shocked , then he said wait for the next flight case they put some bags on it , I have no choice except waiting case it’s my only bag and everything is in it . But unfortunately after waiting in the airport till 7:30 am I got nothing , they took my number and they give me document that I have a missed bag and they will contact me within 48 hours to update me . I was planing to travel out of cairo but I couldn’t case they said i need to be in cairo if I want the bag to be delivered fast . So I waited till they call me again around 4-5 pm the delivery company told me that they have my bag , I was surprised that they remove the plastic packing ( which we keep it for safety ) and they said case it’s needed to be removed before entering in the X-ray , more over the delivery company ask me to meet them around the airport and I reached before them ( the funny thing , they reach to me through public transportation) what a careless!!!"

Nadelen: "I had requested vegetarian meals on all out flight to and from Egypt on Saudia for my daughter. They had no record of it and were not able to provide it. I don't know if that is a problem with the airline or with Kaya"

Nadelen: "Some passengers switched their seats so when I arrived I realized my seat was taken. The crew member simply told me to take another seat. Even though I was willing to give up my original seat, I expected better attitude and more responsibility from the cabin crew including an apology."

Nadelen: "Airline boarding pass / check in counter behavior is unacceptable. They have very poor knowledge how to handle domestic to international flight passenger. Jeddah counter representative even don't know domestic and international terminal are different location in Ryadh; they even don't know passenger has to collect luggage and go to international terminal for final destination. As per Jeddah airlines counter supervisor, domestic and internation terminals are in same location whereas in reality we need to go with a bus. original flight was 4 hours connecting time but airlines changed to 2 hours. We are lucky that we don't missed our flight because we were 1 minutes late to close check in / collect boarding pass; as per counter representative. one of the biggest issue was as follows: when we went to Jeddah counter, we have requested for both boarding pass (Jeddah to Ryadh to JFK) including baggage to be collected to JFK; unfortunate duty supervisor behavior was unacceptable. He was very rood. He was repeating same word and telling "do you understand english" same word again and again with aggressive mood whereas he is very poor in english."

Nadelen: "Service between Dhaka and Riyadh was very substandard. Crew's behaviour was not curtious and very unprofessional to certain passengers."

Nadelen: "Good could be better. Cheap quality food."
Nadelen: "The terminal in Jeddah was the worst. There weren’t sufficient bathrooms for the number of flights/people passing through and the bathrooms were soaking wet. In addition, it rained and there were leaks in the roof all throughout the terminal. The water was literally pouring in non-stop. I advise anyone to avoid long layovers (or any layover) in Jeddah. The only positive aspect is there are a couple of good (small) coffee shapes and reclaimed chairs that are good for sleeping."

Nadelen: "The flight was 1 hour late and they let us queue for a long time just waiting and no reasons were given. The crew did not treat us well and they speak as if they don't want to do anything and in a rude way. For a domestic flight, the food was just a cheese sandwich. Also the pilot have no experience in flying with the plane as the plane vibrates strongly even while mid-air and at constant speed and altitude. The entertainment screen was always lagging and ads are everywhere."

Nadelen: "Horrible flight, the boarding took more than an hour! then the Captain announced that he doesn't know when we will be departing! They kept us in the plane without any air conditioning at a 40+ degrees Celsius! We weren't allowed to even leave the air craft. After being tortured for nearly 3 hours, the plain finally started taxing. We arrived to Manila in the evening which missed up our plans in the first day. Also their onboard entertainment is horrible, you will have to watch a 5 mins long commercials even if you want to watch a 10 mins long TV series episode! Never flying with Saudi again!"
