Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Czech Air (booking owner) should hold Belavia (operating aircraft) accountable for this poor performance ... not the weather delay, but how they handled (or didn’t handle) passengers and communications."

However LOT were extremely efficient and attentive, and they called for a bus/van to get me and one other passenger to the plane. Smiles and assistance make a huge difference."

Nadelen: "On a flight to Budapest, budapest airport had issues that forced us to land in Austria. 5 hours later we’ve been completely abandoned in an empty airport while all the other planes that landed paid for their customers transport. It’s 4am, we have not been given food water or a plan as to how we will get to our destination. The plane crew basically told us we are on our own and left. This is straight up cruel, unjust and completely unacceptable considering we paid more than 2000 dollars for these flights"

Nadelen: "After hours at the gate, the flight was finally deemed cancelled. I missed my layover and was forced to stay over night at a airport hotel. I had paid a change fee to come home specifically for that day which I lost, not to mention 9 hours in the airport... the flights for the following day were totally downgraded from my original booking. Was so upset I could have cried...."
Nadelen: "We where not able to take the fligth's due to a passport issue, according to Netherlands rules my passport should be valid 90 days before entering the country and my expired July 29, 2018, when i booked no one advised me of such rules. I'm trying to contact Brittish Airways to see if I can be refunded."

Nadelen: "Upon arriving at the check in desk we were told that a member of our party had been removed from the flight. While trying to work out a solution with the attendants they were incredibly unhelpful, knew very little about the situation, and at times mocked us. Lisa at the AMS location was particularly rude to the members of our party."

Nadelen: "I understand that airlines want to cut back where ever they can, but I have a hard time believing that you cannot swing a bottle of water and a sandwich. Oh BTW beware of their new “security” regulations. So I had a bottle of perfume in my carry on, only about a quarter maybe a third left in a 100 ml bottle. Guess what, it is not the amount of liquid you have in it, it is the amount the bottle can hold that matters. Needless to say they confiscated it."
Nadelen: "The flight got delayed 1:30 hours, because they had to change planes in London and we were wating in Amsterdam. We didn't aboard fast since there was no space for the hand luggage so they had to send the luggage to the belly of the plane at tha last minute. Definetly the worst fligth ever!!!"
Voordelen: "I love it the most that they are so helpful with excess baggage Which is why I always book with BA I am an entertainer working for many different cruise lines BA does not rob you blind if you have extra baggage Or your bags are slightly heavier ! Delta recently charged me $ 285 per extra bag Coming back BA charged me $90 and allowed me two bags The new policy on many airlines to literally rob a customer Is disgusting and the govt authorities should put a stop To it BA is welcoming and always professional !"
Nadelen: "Airline food is often risky to eat and The variety is poor especially if you are vegan"

Nadelen: "The ground crew at check-in was not friendly nor helpful."
Nadelen: "The male crew in the bag is not try to help people put on the carry on language to the top of cabin. He stood there and look at us. When I directed to him and asked for help, he just stood there for few sec. and decieded to help me but with an attitude. Same as the other lady need their help to put the backpack in, both male crests stood there and wasn't planning to help, and the passenger stood up and assisted her."
Voordelen: "The crew was very sweet. The flight was super short so it was comfortable enough for the short flight."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed by an hour and a half. I had a 40 min delay with Alaska airlines 2 weeks ago and the min I arrived at my destination I had a text apologising for the delay. Along with a link to $100 credit with the airline. This is what real customer service is about. Not just empty apologies."
Nadelen: "Even coffee was not complimentary"
Nadelen: "Corralling people into shopping area by not disclosing gate assignment. Then corralling people into a boarding area where there is no access to bathroom facilities. Then boarding without any order except for some privileged passengers (first class, club members). Finally,not serving any soft drink or little snacks unless you pay for some overpriced stuff. This is a sure way to drive passengers away from BA towards no-frills discount airlines."
Nadelen: "Asked for water when they were selling beverages, and was told sharply "not yet". Flight attendants did not make eye contact and never return for us or other passengers around us."
Nadelen: "At airport had line for baggage drop if had boarding passes. But, then only had one station open out of four or five. One person had problem I guess. Line didn't move for 10-15 minutes. VERY BAD!!"
Voordelen: "Pilot was communicative about flight delay."
Nadelen: "The food service never made it to our row. Not even water was offered on a two hour flight."

Nadelen: "Checked bags line insanely long, gate MILES away from security checkpoint, no food or entertainment (why low rating, n/a), could always use more legroom, paid more for bags than for flight and taking bags was a huge hassle and worry"

Nadelen: "due to my seating, i was freezing...i had to buy my own blanket for 5 euros and this was no be more than a sheet!"

Nadelen: "Something needs to be done about carry on baggage. On this flight alone, I counted 80+ people who had to pay for carry on luggage because it also included our backpacks. There were a lot of angry people. Paying $85 for my carry on that alone didn’t weigh 10kg was ridiculous. I’ll be looking into other airlines for my future trips."

Nadelen: "We were traveling with 1.5 year old child and we had to leave our stroller at the entrance to the gate and got it back with the rest of the luggage, needless to say we had to carry our child all the way to the plane and then to the baggage claim. Why can't it be taken and given back at the entrance."

Nadelen: "Weinig plaats maar dan zeer weinig plaats. Geen kussentje geen deken zonder extra te betalen en het was onaangenaam koud in het vliegtuig ga zeker niet zonder pull aan boord zelfs al staat de ventilatie uit nog is de koude storend"
Nadelen: "Arrived at Paris (CDG) airport 55 mins before take off as my Air France flight from Bordeaux to Paris was delayed by an hour. Was told that checkin closed 1 hour before take off & there was nothing they could do, customer service was in Oslo! Was given a piece of paper with 2 phone numbers!"
Voordelen: "Crew was great as were the Premium seating. On the whole I thought Norwegian was a good value and pleasant flying."
Nadelen: "For a while there was only one person to handle everyone checking in, later there were three at most for the whole plane. We were also told to throw away the baggage tags printed by the kiosk for new ones from the attendant. So why put you through lining up for kiosk check in?"

Voordelen: "Yes the crew were, the sits I enjoyed them because there were 4 open rows without any passengers on them so I was able to utilise them."
Nadelen: "On the way to Paris though, couple of your crew members were a little rude I thought."

Voordelen: "We paid for an upgrade for our return trip after being uncomfortable in economy. Enjoyed the comforts, made the 8 hour flight relaxing."

Nadelen: "No WIFI on long flights (which likely have business travelers traveling in the middle of a business day) is a very big No-No in 2019. Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required."

Nadelen: "The staff on both transatlantic flights were absentee. While I get that it is a budget carrier and they use a request your services via the entertainment system model, they were all behind the curtain all the time. Not even offering water occasionally. Really? Also, I don’t understand why they promote larger windows with dimming functions if the are going to override the controls. While I understand being courteous to other in the plane who might be sleeping, what good is ordering a window seat if the window is put and left in a darkened state the entire flight? An above the clouds sunset opportunity missed. Annoying!!!"
Nadelen: "Delayed 4 hrs Inflight entertainment down for 9hr flight Have to buy water!"
Voordelen: "The Alitalia Lounge at JFK has pretty good food and overall the flight is fine."
Nadelen: "They don't have a separate boarding line for business class, they allow economy passengers to pass through business to use the restroom which kept waking us up. We are paying 3 x the price of an economy ticket, so we should have a few perks besides a more comfortable reclining seat with a footrest. I am not asking for perks that cost the airline any more money as I know this is an economy airline."
Nadelen: "15/9/2018 Amsterdam - NYC 1. Baggage check only opened two hours before departure so it was an hour wait to check a bag 2. Flight left 80 minutes late 3. Flight sat on tarmac at JFK for 50 minutes waiting for a gate because we arrived late"
Voordelen: "Flight was smooth, seats were comfortable with more than the usual leg room. TV screens were large and free. Overall it was a great flight."
Nadelen: "My wife and i paid the minimum to board so of course we didn't expect any amenities. But i would think that coffee and especially water would be complimentary anywhere. We were fine without food but I mean how do you have an 8 hour flight and not offer water to passengers unless they request to pay for it."
Nadelen: "Everything on the plane was broken! Oldest plane I have ever been on! Awful “service”. Will never fly this airline again."
Nadelen: "They didn't even serve water in a 7 hour flight if you didn't order a meal."

Nadelen: "The flight kept getting further delayed but remained th same after the flight took off, then when it was due to land at lax and we were there waiting it updates to an additional 45 minute delay. You couldn’t have updated that before the arrival time? Poor customer service!"
Nadelen: "I was in seat 33F. My husband & I were sitting together, boarded together, yet we were sent down different isles of the plane to board even though we asked to go the same direction. This made us arrive at our seats at different times & made stowing our luggage above rushed, awkward and harder to do. Not a good start considering we are both in our mid 60's. This may have been due to the crew being overwhelmed due to circumstances caused by the airport making us all late in boarding the plane all at once. Also, it was a late flight & there was constant noise from the galley making it hard to try to get any sleep. We were very happy that the crew got along so well but some of the conversations could have been at lower decibles."

Nadelen: "This particular boarding was a fiasco. Since it was my first flight with them, I don’t know if this is the norm or an exception. However, the lack of explanation for the delay in the boarding line into the aircraft was inexcusable."

Nadelen: "I checked 1bag. They lost it. They can’t find it. That’s spoiling the trip."
Voordelen: "The Dreamliner is a great plane and it's as comfortable as you can expect from an Economy flight. Entertainment options are limited but sufficient. Check-in and boarding are very efficient. Overall, flying Norwegian is a good experience."
Nadelen: "- Dehydration: In a 12 hour flight, there wasn't any single drink offered outside of the meal ones. Seriously, 12 hours without bringing water to people? It's great to have higher air quality for better jet lag, but water is prime in that regard. It seems to be a recurring pattern in this flight, no water service. Of course, you can just go and walk up to them and ask for water, but chances are you will get frown at for the annoyance. - Upset staff: Another passenger was seating on my seat when I boarded and asked me to swap places so that he wouldn't have to move. I agreed, and I notified the flight attendants of the change so they knew where to take the meals. I thought I was being nice to them, but I still got rolling eyes and lost stares whenever they came for meal service and they had to revisit the situation. I don't get it."

Nadelen: "Arrive at airport at 330am for a 600am departure. All notifications stating flight was on time. We told to lined up at gate. At 600am we are told the captain has called out sick. I'm sure the airline know before departure that they had no captain. So wait for new captain and crew. Take off 7 hours late. I would suggest better communication and more fleaxibleity with re scheduling on the app. I would have checked into a hotel a flew the next day if I could"
Voordelen: "The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boarding process was fast and efficient. The crew was very fast in their response time especially when food was ordered. The entertainment was probably my favorite part of the ride because it helped pass the time."
Nadelen: "Check in took forever. You had to first weigh your bag and we’re charged for 1Kilo over 65.00. You had to stand in lines that took longer than they should’ve been. First to check in bag and then another one to pay."
