Nadelen: "There are couple things. First of all, it was cold almost for everyone: everyone used a blanket, and some people asked for a second blanket. Secondly, I think that if this airline became the best airline in 2017, staff should care about their passengers’ stuff more than they do, so backpacks or suitcases don't lose parts or get crushed during flights. When I got my backpack back, I thought that someone had used it to play football. My backpack had lost some parts, and some pieces of it were torn!"
Voordelen: "Service is courteous, both on the ground and air. Food & entertainment was top-notch as well. One of the economy rest-rooms were out of order and I was allowed to utilize the business class restroom by the flight attendant. Head bursar was very apologetic and sympathetic about the whole issue. Enjoyed my flight, again on Qatar!"
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, my baggage was lost on this flight, which will make it very difficult to climb Kilimanjaro!"

Nadelen: "The aircraft was changed and passengers were required to check in their hand luggage, yet remove their electronics from their hand carry. In my case I had several electronic items which I had to carry onto the aircraft and store awkwardly which created a major risk of my camera and laptop being damaged in the process. This is not the kind of service I expect from Qatar Airways, especially considering the exorbitant ticket prices."

Nadelen: "One of bags was missing and I came to know this only after waiting until the last bag. The staff knew that my bag did not make it out of Doha. It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

Voordelen: "The trip was very pleasant as usual, being frequent flyer on Qatar airways since 2005, I can only tell that this is so far the best airline company. Great service. On time if not ahead Never lost a bag or got it delayed. Very diversified entertainment program Lovely staff Confortable and clean flights. And of course convenient price. Briefly, I love Qatar Airways and it is my first choice wherever I travel."

Voordelen: "I am a very tall man, 205cm, and I am always worried when I travel that I would not get the first raw or emergency seat. But Emirates always pays attention to my problem. And the economy class seats on Emirates have more leg rooms than on other airlines."
Nadelen: "I could not use the onboard wifi on the flight from Jakarta to Dubai (Boeing 777 300er) and from Dubai to Amsterdam (Airbus A380)."

Not having a Visa kept me.from entering the immigration and security wont let me in without a boarding pass. security supervisor had to contact Emirates ground staff who escorted me."

Leg room SUCKED (and I am not a big person).....maybe 30-31 inches, but my knees were banging up against the seat in front of me!!! I booked this ticket thinking that economy would have more room than US-based carriers and it did not. It did not help to have a very large man spilling over into my seat from the middle seat (although he was very nice....still resent paying for a seat I don't have full "bandwidth" for),"

The little pouch with few essential things for travellers was very useful......you've taken take away too! Qatar, Turkish or Itthehad Airlines are beckoning me!"

Nadelen: "Dinner featured a salad of potatoes and green beans and the entree included potatoes and green beans, a repetition that seemed odd. According to the printed menu, the passengers had a choice of lamb or chicken, but I only heard the flight attendant offering chicken - no mention of lamb. The food was much better on the Rome to Dubai leg of our trip, as was the service."

Nadelen: "I have been on the newer planes and the TV functionality is great. However, the older versions have poor quality TVs with horrible functionality. The touch screen does not respond to your finger and sometimes you can't even get the remote to work. They definitely need to update the technology on all planes."
Voordelen: "The food on Emirates is excellent, the cabin is classy and comfortable, and the plane is equipped with modern amenities such as WIFI and charging portals. The cabin crew were polished and professional and friendly."

Voordelen: "The approach into Venice airport was to the NE so the flight path gave a perfect areal tour of venice out the right side of the plane."
Voordelen: "Crew ignored my existence just because I sat on the window seat, plus I'm an asian, so I'm not sure which of the reason makes her to ignore me for serving my food. Luckily the guy passenger that sit beside me helped me to inform and made sure that she served the food to me."
Nadelen: "YEA, PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO TREAT ALL PASSENGERS EQUALLY, NOT ONLY JUST TO CAUCASIAN, OTHER RACE AND ETHNIC ALSO DESERVE EQUALLY RESPECT AND TREATMENT. THANKS. SERVICE IS GOOD BUT ATTITUDE OF STAFFS ARE JUST MEH."

Nadelen: "Rows are too close, with my knees pressed against the seat in front of me. That is misery for the 10-hour flight from Chicago to Istanbul. We had a much better experience when we flew Turkish Airlines a few years ago. Sad!"

Told me I could pay a penalty fee in excess of $450 to be out on another flight even though same flights to Amsterdam where currently $213 online. When I told them about the price of the tickets online, the response of the customer service agent was "yeah, sometimes the penalties are high". He didn't do anything to try to help. The entire Turkish airlines team at IST is the biggest joke for a customer service team I have ever encountered in any line of business. I have never met a group of "professionals" that are so unprofessional, rude, void of empathy, and overall customer service knowledge than the turkish airlines team at IST. I will never conduct business with Turkish Airlines again and will ensure all my friends, family, and colleagues try their best to avoid them too."

Customer service is terrible. The most unprofessional, rude, ignorant, and disrespectful staff represent Turkish Airlines at IST. Furthermore, an email complaint has been ignored."

Voordelen: "I flew Paris -Hong Kong(round trip) with transfer in Istanbul and overall everything was ok. The in-flight service was great, food was very good and their fleet seems quite new and clean."
Nadelen: "Thw only aspect I didn't like was the fact that our flight from Istanbul to Hong Kong was delayed and that is not a big problem,flights gets delayed all the time. But the attitude we got from the ground staff in the airport was a big problem. We got to the customer service counter to get further information about the flight and nobody was giving us any information.Not even an apology for the fact that we waited for 3 hours in an airport at 2 AM. Everybody seemed so bored,that they barely spoke 3 words.They offered us a voucher at Burger King, but we couldn't order anything from the menu,but the simplest burger. We just expected a bit more from an airline that has somebody dressed as a chef on-board while serving the in-flight meals."

Nadelen: "Crew member wanted me to move my seat up so the passenger behind me can have more room. The person in front of me had his chair pushed all the way back, what the hell was the crew member thinking? I still did not move my chair and argued with the female crew. Crew members do not treat everyone equally. I asked for functioning pair of headphones and water, crew members never brought them to me. Responded by saying yes, BUT never brought it to me. I noticed crew members treated children and Turkish passengers first. I'm Chinese and flew Turkish airline- I felt the discrimination. Never traveling with Turkish airlines AGAIN."

Nadelen: "I am 200 cm tall and nobady ask me if wanna sit exit door .. some people 160 and 170 were there ..please next time to put tall people there .."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were stellar--polite, respectful, helpful, attentive. I want to particularly commend the attendant who, after I notified her that someone was very ill in the adjacent bathroom, stood discreetly nearby and offered the person a glass of water when he emerged. Very considerate."
Nadelen: "The transfer was a horrible, stressful experience. We knew it as a short connection but Lufthansa had accepted it. On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

Voordelen: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Nadelen: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

Nadelen: "Went First Class. What a joke! Coach seats & service. Only difference is they leave the middle seat empty. This appears to be the European standard (we flew on 3 different airlines) for 1st Class within Europe flights. Save your money, fly coach within Europe."

Nadelen: "You take a bus to reach the plane and the seats are uncomfortable without any entertainment systems. Thankfully the flight was only 1.5 hours."

The plane was about 30 minutes late which was nice because it took a while to get off our Munich flight, find our new gate and we ended up nearly running to the gate."
Nadelen: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."

Voordelen: "Although the flight to Frankfurt was delayed for more than an hour they made special arrangements to get on time to the next flight."

Nadelen: "Flight was 40min late, which can happen. Caused me to miss my connecting flight and all three employees from Lufthansa I dealt with had a total ‘I really don’t care attitude ‘"
Voordelen: "Very attentive, friendly and multilingual crew, frequent offers of food/drinks, good selection of movies"
Nadelen: "More a problem of the San Francisco airport than the airlines, but getting through passport control/customs involved multiple VERY long, slow-moving lines with very few people working to process the crowds. Then, even though my bags were checked all the way through to my final destination, I had to pick up my luggage and re-check it, and go through security again--and that also seemed poorly organized and/or short-staffed."

Nadelen: "The seat was so hard and my seat back was broken so I could not recline. I paid extra for these seats and it was not comfortable."
Voordelen: "The seats are comfortable and the plane was clean and well-presented."
Nadelen: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."
Voordelen: "The entertainment choices were excellent and the service never stopped. The plane was comfortable and the bathroom clean. There was some turbulence, but that is not the fault of the airline, nor did it really bother me."
Nadelen: "There was a snarky attendant, but not all of them were that way."

Nadelen: "I liked everything except the cookie. It reminded me of the low quality supermarket American cookies, way too sweet and flavorless. They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

Made two phone calls to the airline prior to my scheduled trip to attempt a seat upgrade but they told me I would have to do this at the airport where of course no upgrades were available"

Nadelen: "Everything on board the economy class is on Ryanair level. It is nearly not possible for me (1,89 meters) to have a comfortable flight in these seats. We will try to avoid Lufthansa as often as possible in the future (I`ve had a senator level in earlier times and things changed massively!)"

Nadelen: "Boarding system was quite chaotic and unclear. Food was horrible. Premium Economy Class seat was just similar to economy class. Sound system with provided earphones don't work well."
