Okay but not great.
Voordelen: Staff were very friendly apart from the check in guy (Saudi) I assume. Food was okish, Seating was average.
Nadelen: Plane had an awful smell upon entry. This was on both legs of the journey.
Voordelen: I bid for an upgrade on the 2nd leg so business was much better. The lady serving in business was very nice.
Nadelen: This leg was pretty much ok. Took an hour + to receive my baggage.
Voordelen: Crew was welcoming and considerate. Breakfast food selection was good and tasty. Entertainment system is great.
Nadelen: Old old plane with the most uncomfortable seats - hard lumbar and head support. Good leg room. It was a 3.5 hour flight, so it was manageable. Had to use my next pillow during hour 3.

Voordelen: It's not horrible; just not up to world class standards of Singapore, Virgin, Emirates, United, or top airlines.
Nadelen: Business Class: You have to place your order for all food and drink at the start of the flight because the flight attendant disappears after serving. Want a refill of wine? Tough bananas. Forget to order dessert? You're out of luck.
Nadelen: Need better training.
Voordelen: The food was really good. Had the chicken sausage with pasta and mushroom.
Nadelen: After travelling from the Maldives and our final flight home from Melbourne to Brisbane, several people had their luggage sopping wet due to rain at Melbourne. Everything inside the luggage was wet. Qantas Customer Service was not empathetic. They said it was only water and bad luck.
Voordelen: In row 27 window seat. Had a great view of the Maldives.

Nadelen: It was an old aircraft and felt dirty. Screens, seats, lavatories, everything was old. There were some really loud and rude passengers behind us causing disruption to everyone around. The crew tried to handle it but the passengers were just not cooperating.

Nadelen: Foods were not good. Tray and seat was dirty. Sri Lanka should put in International passengers to good hotel and not shady slum hotel.

Voordelen: Flight attendant were amazing. My wife was not well and we ask for blanket. Cabin crew provided us with one.
Nadelen: In flight food selection should have some variety for three hours flight. Should significantly improve Sri Lanka Lounge as the place was not the neat and clean, as it was run by one staff alone. Food in the lounge were sitting for hours and not freshly made.
Voordelen: Planes and entertainment was amazing. Flight crew very good and friendly.
Nadelen: The ground staff at Amsterdam were very poor and not well organized to handle issues. Some individuals were very rude and unhelpful

Nadelen: Crew ran out of food choices despite the fact that I was seated near the front of the aircraft. Crew came out for the first service and didn’t serve again for the rest of the flight.
Nadelen: Plane was too cold. Asked staff to adjust but still to cold.
Voordelen: Had more room than on BA flight to London
Nadelen: Poor selection of entertainment. Some features, such as the flight tracker, didn’t work

Disappointed at first
Voordelen: Crew is amazing with a smile always. It was a new aircraft with nice screens and a good variety of movie selections. Service was excellent as well as the food.
Nadelen: I was denied checking in a the counter. I bought the ticket with a friends credit card and they needed to have the actual card to swipe and then only they get access to my booking. It is company policy but it is not stated when you are making the purchase the airlines website. It says so on the bottom of the ticket on the page long rules in small print. And in all honesty who reads all of that these days. The ground crew were nice enough to take me to the airlines office at the airport and figure out a solution. It took an hour and a half to sort it out and get a verification from headquarters office in Srilanka.

Voordelen: It was all positives from the time we check in until we arrived in Kindon.
Nadelen: They distributed the UK landing card long after meals served and most passengers were a sleep. It would be good if they could distribute the UK landing cards straight after or before the meals.
Voordelen: Plenty of leg room.

Nadelen: gaps between seats were unbearable and have to think twice whether to travel again UL 208.

Great flight and service
Voordelen: Flew a few times with UL mainly as it's part of One World and being a QR member I get additional miles and point and travel in business at affordable prices compared to QR extremely high price.
Nadelen: Need more movie options. Presently 95% movies are one or more year old.
Great crew - small seats!
Voordelen: Food was good, boarding efficient. Crew managed other passengers so there wasn't crazy baggage issues. Crew was friendly and very helpful.
