Breakfast could be better. It feels like a dining room in a factory.
The team had give us a good room as I requested .
The jets in the bath could do with a service , bed could have been more comfortable and it seems the bedsheets needed a better clean .
Rub-down, nickel & dime
If you like run-down hotels that charge for every amenity, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, I don’t like such places and do not recommend that anyone stays here. The hotel is in very poor shape. Two elevators were broken and the lights to inform you what floor you were on did not work in the fourth - it made for a fun guessing game of when to get off. Internet in the rooms is 7 pounds per device - that’s terrible in this day and age. There was free wifi in the lounge, where you could sit on couches that have been copiously taped up to cover the tears. There was also a charge to use the pool or fitness room. These items should be covered in the price. The staff did not seem to know what they were doing when I checked in. It is in a good location with respect to the subway, but there are several other hotels in the area where you could stay instead and I suggest you do.
Everything. Terrible facilities, charges for wifi, charges for gym.
I guess for the price you can go wrong
location. That was really about it.
> the room I received had no windows and was incredibly stuffy for my stay. > The breakfast was awful and didn't have many vegetarian options like the person who checked me in attested to (I ended up going to the nearby convenience store for premade food. Cheaper and at least adequate). > For a hotel in a business district, wifi for £7 per day per device seems incredibly steep.
The hotel is trying to save money to the detriment of the customer
Location
Online booking implied breakfast included but upon arrival was told out wasn't and was upsold. Restaurant was terrible food. 20 min free Wi-Fi. Room not very nice. Place tired looking. Front of house staff were pleasant and nice.
Filthy, next to building site
The rooms are fine and food is average.
The spa is appalling! The pool has a dirty grime around the edge, the steam room was too hot to use and the sauna was too cool to sweat! You have to pay extra to use the spa and we were fobbed off by staff when we complained. We booked the hotel so that we could visit the spa and we were very disappointed. It should also be noted that some rooms overlook a building site so if you don't get woken up by trains you will hear early morning drilling etc.
Windows not sound proof
Was right next to a construction site and windows were not sound proof woke up early morning to the loudest drilling sound ... a lot going on around the area could not sleep due to excessive loud noise and checked out super early as noise was unbearable
OUTDATED REALLY!
The room was a little outdated and cramped. Does the trick for a place to crash.
Wifi isn't included has to be bought. Outdated furniture.
Great value for the money.
The location was great. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Canary Wharf underground station and shopping. The public areas in the hotel were comfortable and you could get food and drink until the early morning hours.
The furnishings in the room were a little mediocre and worn. It is possible to do inexpensive and stylish but design is not everyone's strong suit. It would have been nice to have access to the waterfront but the doors were emergency exit/alarmed doors. All in all I would stay there again.
Briken AC, stuck in one position. Very tiny single rooms. Dirt. Catch on getting wifi, only 20 min a day are complimentary. Paid hotel support phone call-in line... Unfriendly staff from concierge up to manager, helpless fingerpointing to rules and booking broker.
Nothing...?
Poor service
View and location was great.
I didn't like the service. Asked twice for the air conditioning to be regulated down. As it was blowing at 28 degrees. First time was in the morning so they had all day to fix it. 2nd time was that night.. The resolution was they could open a small window for us. There was no smile and no service mind. The person behind the desk was just annoyed that there was something for him to fix. I asked for another room of that was or another fan.. But no...
inexpensive, but you get what you pay for
The location was good, reasonably close to Canary Wharf, and the cost was less than newer hotels in the area.
The hotel is a bit down at heels, worn carpet, noisy hard bed. No extras included, £7 a day for internet, £10 for a breakfast buffet that is nothing to rave about. Considerable construction in the area which makes getting around difficult (room service and one of the restaurants had an unnamed emergency and was closed).
Good Loaction
Wifi internet frequent breakdowns
the room was best
breakfast was very disorganised. no clean tables. not enough staff.
Breakfast was chaotic had to ask staff for various things.torn wall paper in room. air condition noisy all night.
Very pleasant suuroundings. The room was booked as 'executive suite' and wasn't as big as we had anticipated,(the two beds necessarily pushed together) although the jacussi was good. View over the water from the bar was lovely. Breakfast was good.
It is convenient for the O2
The staff were very unhelpful and breakfast was a scrum.
My room was entred 3 times in the morning by a member of staff and not even a know or apology was heard!!
