Went for Pittsburgh Game
Voordelen: Staff was excellent answered every question we had and made me feel at ease. The staff includes the front desk, the shuttle driver, and the members of the hotel bar.
Nadelen: Bed was a little stiff and the pillow kept falling in-between the head board. Shuttle was full for the Pittsburgh Game the second we arrived. I wish I knew about the shuttle TO THE GAME before hand and I wish I had an opportunity to sign up for it ahead of time.

Nadelen: I booked through Kayak at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oakland Pittsburgh for a Business Trip. I specifically picked this hotel because it was the location of several business meetings, and I had several meetings in walking distance. However, once I arrived, I was told that my booking was independently changed to the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Pittsburgh. While it's only three miles away, that would require me to spend a lot of time in a cab between meetings, and incur additional cab costs. I did not have time to travel back and forth with my business schedule. I told the Amoma this, cancelled my booking with them, and booked a new hotel on my own next door, the Hampton Inn in Oakland. I have still not received a refund, and now Amoma is asking me for bank statements to prove I booked a new hotel. This whole experience is unacceptable. I expect to be refunded in full, and I'm tired of dealing with Amoma and their booking problems.

Voordelen: Great, helpful staff. The brunch specials were delicious and creative. The proximity to the Pittsburgh campus made it extremely easy to visit.
Convenient location
Voordelen: The location is very convenient for the University of Pittsburgh. The rooms were nice looking and the shower stall in the bathroom was a nice change from the usual tub/shower combo.
Nadelen: The walls are very thin and we could hear every word in the room next door. The adjustable "comfort" beds don't work, there is no adjusting them. The room was mostly clean, except there was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived.
