Voordelen:: Een heerlijk ontbijt, mooie en verzorgde kamers en vriendelijke bediening. De ligging is uitstekend in een leuke en mooie buurt met vele gezellige restaurantjes.

Nadelen:: De verlichting in de kamer maakte een vreemd geluid.

Voordelen:: I checked in late around 20:00, get the room meet been tired I want to take a shower and go to sleep. Then start the surprises: the room faced a small street where all garbage from whole area around was deposit: hotel, restaurants, bars, residential...and the team start picking up all of the garbage maintains. Shooting, noice...this continuefor around 2 hours(!better see the video- not smell!!than want the the bath room and I was suppose to find a bath room as described in the Hilton side: all marble... . It was the room cover with the tiles older than 30’years! Every thing wrong or missed the cosmetic part: soap, gel.... was the lower quality that I see in last 20 years... try to explain myself but except to get a “very sorry” answer nothing else. It is not the first time that I complete this matters. Now same one will : why you go over there? Allway sitting in Radisson across the street ( now was full) but my order was “ a executive room, marble..” I believed that same thing was changed, nothing just the room get older with few months

Voordelen:: This hotel is very much about location, location, location. Located in the City Centre of Bucharest near the Old quarter and parks, this is a hotel with a lot of history that is easy to get to. Check in was friendly and efficient. I was given a room on the 14th floor. I love staying in high rise city centre hotels and this was no exception. The bedroom was very spacious and the views by day and night were amazing. You can take in the views and air on the balcony. A lovely thing to do first thing in the morning and last thing at night. This is an iconic hotel with so much history. Facilities include restaurants, bar, gym and swimming pool. The best was yet to come. Breakfast and what a feast that was. I was in the capable hands of Breakfast Manager, Marian. He made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. First of all he took me on a tour and then offered to make me a milky coffee. Highlights include the very engaging staff, champagne and egg station. The egg station chef cooked me a wonderful omelette with a little of every ingredient included. It was absolutely delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment and would love to return one day.

Voordelen:: Location but I didn't stay there.

Nadelen:: I was charged the full amount although the hotel agreed to cancel my reservation as they didn't have a double room available. Still waiting for the refund. Staff at the reception wasn't helpful or apologetic at all. Not a 5 star hotel. Better options around the corner.

Voordelen:: - Ontbijt was uitstekend - Vooral de wellness is buitengewoon ontspannend en mooi - Het Italiaans restaurant is erg lekker

Nadelen:: - Kreeg in eerste instantie een kamer die al bezet was, er lag iemand te slapen - Er was geen douchegordijn in de badkamer, alles werd drijfnat - Kamers en gangen zijn erg gedateerd

Nadelen:: I made a reservation for my boss with suite category but they give him a connected room with one key (so he couldn’t turn on the light next room. ) I complained but they answered that they thought I was coming with children. What they saw while I was checking in were only two adults. They just made continuous excuses. After they moved room to the suite, they didn’t bring the amenities that belonged to the previous. I was so sick and tired of their careless, I didn’t ask any more. Facilities are old, TV wasn’t working at the room so had to call reception to fix. Service were even worse. When I was checking out in the morning, they didn’t ask me if we are okay with that trouble. For me, it felt like they just cared for money itself. No 5 star service! I will never stay at intercontinental any more

Nadelen:: Our room had street traffic noise. For the house keeping to bring us a little plate & a spoon, they pointed out there will be a "delivery charge". That was for an empty one !

Voordelen:: Comfortable bed

Nadelen:: Carpet in the room is not clean ... needs to be removed and wooden floor installed instead the casino next to the entrance (and the casino visitors in the hotel!) dramatically reduce the appeal of the hotel: they should do something about it ...

Voordelen:: Het beste van het beste, een ideale plek waar je niet meer weg wil. Binnen en buiten zwembad. Meerdere plekken waar je drinken kan bestellen. Thee, Biertje, wijntje of whisky in de zon naast het zwembad. Daarnaast verschillende restaurants binnen de muren van het hotel.

Nadelen:: Niet goedkoop. Maar daar krijg je wel wat voor. Als je geen gebruik maakt van de faciliteiten dan is het voor een stedentrip beter om iets goedkopers te zoeken. Anders blijf je binnen.

Nadelen:: My friend asked for extra pillows and tge housekeeping staff who was a man just walked in without knocking. It was 11:45 pm! Plus in order to make us bring a credit card for re-authorization, they locked us out of our rooms by blocking the key card. I asked why they could not just send us a message to. Let us know instead of deactivating our room keys. The decor is also not to my taste.

Voordelen:: Very good breakfast.

Nadelen:: The cleaning lady entered our room at 8.30 in the morning, we were still sleeping. Very noisy during the night from other guests.

Voordelen:: Position is very good. Also breakfast is good and there is a big choice.

Nadelen:: They gave an Elite apartment which is located in the part of the hotel which is not renovated. The apartment is big (with kitchen, living room, etc.) but I dont really need it and you can immediately see that it is old. Moreover, in order to reach this apartment from the lobby it takes a lot of time because it is located in a part which is quite far away from the normal hotel rooms. All this for 330 euro.

Nadelen:: The gym was closed due to reconstruction. At 5 star hotel I would expect information in advance or some apology or some workaround. Showerhead in the bathroom has no way how to be hold while you take shower in the bath. Room said it has "view", but view to the street I don't consider as view, it's not a big deal though. The closed gym was disappointment.

Voordelen:: Het ontbijt is heel goed, locatie top, in het oude centrum. Het oude centrum is s avonds super gezellig.

Voordelen:: Lovely spacious room with bespoke decoration. The room looks brand new although 12 years old. Modern facilities with USB sockets. Very clean daily. Excellent breakfast and tasty prompt room service. Morning staff were excellent.

Nadelen:: Some basics missing from toiletries, like showercap I had to specifically ask for. Essentially it has only shampoo, shower bath and soap. Be prepared. Hair dryer on the wall really weak, no fit for female hair. Coffee preparation did not have milk (again I needed to specifically ask for) and was not topped up daily. I found some reception night staff repeatedly abrupt. It would have been nice to have some information leaflet in the room, regarding facilities, breakfast time, etc as it would free time from staff answering standard questions too.

Voordelen:: Hotel was nice, very pretty building and in a good location.

Nadelen:: Despite booking two rooms the second booking hadn't been accepted and one guest had to sleep on a sofabed and their key stopped working each time they left the room.

Voordelen:: Zwembad, mooie lobby en goede kamer

Nadelen:: Beetje rare wasbak in de waskamer waarvan ook het water amper wegliep. En badkamer kon wel wat schoner.

Voordelen:: The location is absolutely amazing, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is rich with a lot of local products, especially the yoghurt. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance and so is the Old City and the Centre located there for tours outside the usual area, like the Vacaresti Natural Park. And try the 5 to Go Coffee shop right across the street from the hotel.

Nadelen:: The stay was too short.

Voordelen:: Excelent location; the room is large enough.

Nadelen:: The room was outdated, the bathroom too small!!

Voordelen:: We used to stay a lot at Novotel but stopped during he renovations. We returned a few weeks ago and we enjoyed it very much. The breakfast area is very neat complemented now by a wide terrace, the pool was refreshing. The location is perfect, in the middle of Bucharest, a short stroll to the Cismigiu park or the old city centre. The wine restaurant and its staff were again such a great bonus to staying at Novotel. Delicious food, prompt service and extremely friendly staff. Great wines too :)
