Voordelen:: The establishment had many amenities to offer including a game room, a gym, a poolside bar and a full on-site restaurant. There was also access to a beach and is a short walk to the town proper for local supplies and souvenirs. The rooms are spacious with a decent size bathroom and in-room snacks and a mini bar. This sight also accepts major credit cards and also has on-site money exchange (but only if you desperately need cash)

Nadelen:: The room smelled odd but it could have just been that room in particular. One of the billiard tables in the game room was dirty and had bird poop. Their ‘giant burger’ at their restaurant was more bread than actual burger.

Voordelen:: Na een tweetal weken rondgetourd te hebben in cabanes is het fijn even een goed bed en douche te hebben We hebben 3dagen genoten van de faciliteiten zwembad, mooi terras aan de zee,lekker gegeten

Voordelen:: This is a fantastic hotel, in every sense. Beautifully laid out swimming pool with the hotel right on a perfect beach. Soft sand, plenty of private sun lounges and excellent for swimming

Nadelen:: Nothing really. They are not as geared up as they could be for English visitors, but that is to be understood and did not detract from an extremely enjoyable stay

Voordelen:: This hotel is in an amazing location. It is one of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed in. The pool is huge, features a bar and has a beautiful view of Sabang beach/mountains. Room was modern, comfortable and included a large bathroom. Recommend booking the Underground River tour from the resort (and not from PP). It’s cheaper and the national park is a 15 minute boat ride from the resort. The hotel was also environmentally conscious and uses solar power. We also used the gym which had free weights and machines. We would definitely stay again.

Nadelen:: Some optional services eg laundry, private shuttles were pricey.

Voordelen:: Mooi locatie, heerlijk groot zwembad. Strand is heerlijk rustig. Lekkere bedden.

Nadelen:: Resort was enigszinds vervallen/ toe aan restauratie zo zaten er veel losse steentjes in het zwembad en waren sommige ligbedden kapot. Ook in het restaurant duurde de service erg lang en krijg je niet tegelijk je eten.

Voordelen:: Off the beat and path but next door to the underground river. Nice pool, beautiful mountains surrounding the property and good food. Room had a funk to it (urine) but it's worth a stay...

Voordelen:: Het hotel is gelegen aan de zee. Het heeft een prachtig groot zwembad. De ontbijtruimte was aan de zee. We hebben genoten van het diner tijdens het chinees nieuwjaar.

Voordelen:: De suite die was werkelijk prachtig met een heerlijk bed en in de ochtend hadden wij het buffet gemist maar mochten we a la carte ontbijten en dat was echt top!!

Nadelen:: Gedateerde uitstraling en er is werkelijk niks te beleven in Sabang wij zouden niet aanraden hier te overnachten maar de underground river tour gewoon vanuit een andere stad doen

Voordelen:: Everything was great. From early check in to the rooms, welcome drinks, free voucher, staff, rooms and equipments. Did not expect to find a new favorite home in PPS

Voordelen:: Na weken onderweg konden we bij Best Western genieten van een kaasplankje! Hoe lekker is dat. Verder een super comfortabel hotel met heerlijke massage. Prijs- kwaliteitsverhouding is prima. Op loopafstand van het centrum van Puerto Princesca.

Nadelen:: Het restaurant vonden wij er niet heel gezellig uitzien.

Voordelen:: Best service I could imagine during Corona crisis! Flexible and tolerant! Nice hotel and breakfast!

Nadelen:: Het zwembad lag niet aan de zonkant. Prijzen drank aan de hoge kant. Airco moeilijk te regelen.

Voordelen:: Het was een fijne kamer met, zoals gevraagd, twee aparte bedden (die heerlijk ruim waren). De massage (in house) was fantastisch (en gelukkig zonder zelfs maar te hinten op een happy ending waardoor niemand zich ongemakkelijk hoefde te voelen). Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam, alleen voelde het niet altijd even oprecht. Het zit echt midden in de buurt van de betere restaurants. Ik denk dat het wel een van de betere hotels van Puerto Princessa is (en ik zou er ook wel weer naar toe gaan als ik in PP moest zijn).

Nadelen:: Het ontbijt was redelijk (had beter gekund). De badkamer was wat klein en krap en de douchekop lekte. Housekeeping kwam pas de 2e helft van de middag onze kamer schoonmaken (had zeker eerder gemogen). Onze was konden we alleen per item laten doen en dat was echt schreeuwend duur (zelfs voor onze Westerse begrippen). Puerto Princessa zelf stelt echt bar weinig voor. We waren blij dat we er weer weg konden.

Voordelen:: De vriendelijkheid en betrokkenheid van het personeel in algemene zin..

Nadelen:: De service van het hotel zou je beter verwachten. Vertrek om 6 uur in de ochtend...terug om 16.20 en kamer nog niet gedaan.. Geboekt 6 maanden voor check-in...bij aankomst gereserveerde kamer bezet.. drankje in zwembad bestellen...20 minuten zonder andere gasten.. Wasgoed afgegeven...na 3x vragen na 3 dagen retour. Helaas.. het management heeft hier wel nog wat te sturen..

Voordelen:: Eten in restaurant a la cart, ongeloiflijk dat er elke avond niemand zit, echt goed eten van de kaart

Nadelen:: Heel puerto princesa, hotel was t enige pluspunt ,op de rochelende en slurpende chinezen en koreanen na

Nadelen:: Het inchecken was een probleem, ik moest de kamerprijs wederom betalen omdat ze de boeking niet terug konden vinden, uiteraard heb ik dit niet gedaan en na een hoop gesteggel was het dan toch oke, het gaf mij geen prettig gevoel, ik geef mijn paspoort en boekingsnummer en dan allemaal vragen alsof ik de kamer van ze zou stelen. Voor de rest een schoon en prima hotel

Nadelen:: We hebben 1 keer in 3 dagen een schoonmaak gehad en die was vrij laat, pas rond 18 uur. Dus hadden we geen schone handdoeken voor in de morgen. Het restau en bar sluiten super vroeg en dat is wel heeeel jammer

Voordelen:: The whole resort was very good . Attention to the guests a must! Cleanliness. Things to do there . I was told the front room , in the ocean were not that much better, and much much more expensive than the in grounds rooms , the “ floating cabanas”, were much more expensive and the rooms were not that great. Just sat on the ocean , and got beautiful views!

Nadelen:: An earlier check in and later check out. The way it is , you don’t even spend 20 hrs there.

Nadelen:: Most of Restaurants in hotel doesn't work for dinner. There work only one that offer pizza and pasta. Of course I'm not happy from that, because both I can eat in Europe. Also prices was very expensive. More than 40 USD for dinner for 2 person without any drinks.

Voordelen:: We loved the view and the great staff from the hotel. Especially the reception is working very professionally, super friendly and absolutely costumer orientated. The ladies from the spa gave us a great facial treatment which we can absolutely recommend, it was more than relaxing :) the restaurant staff should know a lil more about the menu they are offering but all were as well super sweet. Thanks to everyone for making our short stay so wonderful

Nadelen:: On the first view it looks nice, but all over the hotel needs renovation. there is a big construction site of new rooms for the hotel, but it makes noise, so we couldn’t take our massage in the spa area and needed to take it in our villa. Water villa needs renovation too. The wood of jetty and porch are broken on many areas, it’s not safe to walk without shoes. Everywhere f.e. Bathroom shower is worn-out. The price does not fits with the performance. Evening BBQ buffet was ok, but not such a good taste. So it’d better to eat outside. The second bridge from water villa to main resort is under construction so you need to walk the longer path. Wheelchair or baby stroller could be a handicap because the ways of the hotel area uneven and the bridge to water villas are only reached over a Sand way and a uneven bridge. (Photo)

Voordelen:: Personeel was zoals overal op de Filipijnen zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Eten en drinken was ook goed in orde.

Nadelen:: Het resort is zeer vervallen, wij hadden een (dure) plek op de zee. Deze zou ik nooit meer nemen. Bezigheid van de kinderen in het zwembad is “lossen tegeltjes zoeken”. Het was waarschijnlijk een mooi resort, echter is er gewon jaren geen onderhoud aan gepleegd.

Nadelen:: Wat afgelegen en de bar en restaurant erg duur. De bungalow was aan renovatie toe.

Voordelen:: Airport pick up and drop off was great. Close to the airport, 60 pesos to the local mall. Great place to go for one night before travelling to El Nido.

Nadelen:: Didn't feel comfortable, but you get what you pay for.

Voordelen:: De ligging was fijn, dichtbij het vliegveld van Puerto Princesa, het centrum, de mall en niet ver van de bezienswaardigheden. Prima voor een kort verblijf in deze stad.

Voordelen:: De locatie als je moet vliegen is prima. Je krijgt een gratis shuttle, handig. Gratis water en fruit en het bed was prima.

Nadelen:: De kamer was redelijk outdated en de airco maakt ontzettend lawaai. Ookal zet je hem uit, dan hoor je die van de buren. Qua ontbijt kun je het beste pancakes nemen, scrambled eggs was niet lekker.

Voordelen:: Goede bedden, goede airco

Nadelen:: Koude douche, ontbijt matig.

Voordelen:: And with free pick up from the airport to the hotel. The room was clean.

Nadelen:: The blanket though was too thin, it needs a warmer blanket for an airconditioner room.

Voordelen:: Personeel was erg aardig en dacht veel mee. Ze boden veel extra's aan zoals gratis ophalen bij de luchthaven, gratis ontbijt en daarnaast was er ook mogelijkheid om bij personeel een tour te regelen.

Nadelen:: Alles was opzich prima. Het was allemaal redelijk basic, maar voor de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding goed! Ik vond de afstand tot het centrum net te ver om te lopen, maar een tricycle is een goede en goedkope oplossing.

Voor ons queensize bedden per persoon. Lekker ontbijt. Schoon zwembad. Zee met eb en vloed, heel mooie omgeving daardoor. Behulpzaam personeel. Via 't hotel prive vervoer naar El nido geregeld. Sonny hele fijne chauffeur.

Nadelen:: Was de start van onze vakantie..... Niets viel tegen

Voordelen:: Er was te weinig fruit aan het ontbijt.

Nadelen:: De receptie had ons beter geinformeerd op de andere restauranten in de buurt, namelijk het restaurant in Emerald Playa,resort naast het hotel.We hebben het maar op laatste dag ontdekt, nog vlug kunnen eten toch. Zeer goede keuken en heel lekker !

Voordelen:: Terrific staff - from start to finish, most especially during such a trying time with the airport shut downs due to COVID 19. Front desk, drivers, bellmen, cleaning, restaurant, and mgmt showed care and consistency throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

Voordelen:: We kregen een upgrade van de kamer naar het appartementencomplex, deze was echt heerlijk! Fijne kamer, lekker bed en een fijn zwembad(je) op het dak. Verder erg behulpzaam personeel en we kregen een welkomstdrankje, heel attent! Binnen 10 min met de tricycle op het vliegveld, ideaal.

Nadelen:: Er lagen allemaal vliegen oid op de grond in de gang?

Voordelen:: Fijn huisje met zwembad recht voor de deur. Alle faciliteiten waren schoon en netjes. In het restaurant was voldoende keuze en lekker eten.

Nadelen:: Niet al het personeel verstond Engels, ook moest je door een donker steegje om bij het hotel te komen. Dit was overigens prima te bewandelen.

Voordelen:: Rooms are a bit on the small side but they are clean and efficient with cable TV, aircon and hot water. The pool is a big bonus and very nice. Possibly the reason to stay here! Plenty of places near the property to eat in a 5-10 minute walk. The best place to eat is the Filipino Barbeque Joint, take a right on the main road as you leave the alley that enters the property, walk about 5 minutes and cross the street where you see a huge cloud of smoke and tons of locals chowing down

Voordelen:: Excellent and helpful staff. Very nice pool. All rooms seem to have a little terrace with table and chairs where you can sit and have a chat in the evening. Breakfast good. Peaceful.

Nadelen:: Some small faults, internet could have been better for example, but overidden by the value for money of this accomodation.

Voordelen:: Pool was great, surrounding area could do with a de-clutter. They made us a really lovely vegan breakfast as we couldn’t eat anything on the menu... very thoughtful! :)

Nadelen:: Firstly we had to pay a deposit on arrival even tho booked thought bookings. The woman in charge is a bit passive aggressive, little bit of a weird vibe...they have lists and lists of rules around the place too...We felt like we were being watched on our every move, like children. They also charge for everything and have signs around with the fees I.e outside toilet 50 Peso, not allowed to bring your own snacks or drinks on site or you’ll be charged... not good if you are on a budget as not everyone can afford to eat every meal at their prices! Owners very particular. Rooms could do with updating tbh.

Voordelen:: Mostly we found the ambiance really nice, Really clean resort, very clean throughout and the room was really good with fridge, kettle good wifi and cable TV, the bed is really comfortable with a nice duvet cover ( not a sheet like lots of places ) there is extra food and drink at additional charges if you don't want to go out ( we never utilise the drinks or food ) because we travel a lot and try keep the costs down, hence why we generally buy our own provisions at the cost price from supermarkets. The pool was really nice and there was a bar area also if people want to relax in the ambiance, additionally they had a projector for playing music and videos which was a nice touch,they had a small gym which was basic but ok, the breakfast was actually ok for a Filipino breakfast , I always feel the breakfast is small in every place I stay , you can also order food for dinner/lunch ( we never tried the dinner or lunch ) You can really see that a lot of thoughts and efforts have gone into making this place a cut above most of the places in Palawan, we have stayed in hundreds of places across Asia and particularly in the Philippines , so if you don't want to spend a lot of money on staying in a hotel this is the place to start. We find if you pay less than 1000 pesos expect it to be poor in some area's, if you can afford just over a thousand then this is probably the best place in Puerto princessa.

Nadelen:: Negatives were very few,some construction work next door ( which is absolutely no fault of this facility ), it was a little out the way but still close enough for a 20 minutes walk to Robinson's Mall. Mostly the staff and owners seemed ok , I really expect any hospitality to be excellent whenever I spend my money on any types of facilities, whether or not I take advantage of any additional activities or drinks etc that's always the perogative of the paying customer. Slight smell eminating from the bathroom but not overpowering

Voordelen:: We loved spending 2 nights here. A lovely little place to relax close to the airport. The pool is cleaned daily and is the reason we choose this place to relax before our flight. Chilled music all day and food available on site so no need to leave. The rooms are spotlessly clean, have everything you need. WiFi is strong throughout. The kettle and fridge was great as we have been traveling the Philippines for 5 weeks now and this is the first place that had these facilities. They offer some extras in the room (drinks & snacks) at an extra cost but is handy if you want something small and don't want to leave the guesthouse. The complimentary breakfast was simple but yummy, perfectly cooked eggs

Nadelen:: The only thing that we felt could be improved was the comfort of the mattress, it was too hard for our liking but that's just personal choice.

Voordelen:: Citadel went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was one of the best we had in all of our travelling through the Phillipines. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, A/C worked great, the pool was awesome surrounded by a beautiful garden! Breakfast was great and we loved the option to have a French press coffee! We loved our stay at Citadel Bed and breakfast! A little hidden paradise in Puerto Princesa city.

Nadelen:: Some weird rules and regulations and potential fines on a sign in the room, not very welcoming! Couldn't swap a book, weird considering there were dozens of them in a cabinet! Wanted a large room deposit on arrival but we had no extra cash as leaving Phillipines the following day. Kept passport instead. No flexibility of check in/out times

Voordelen:: The breakfast is very good and the staff were all excellent! They really took care of us. The room is basic but very clean and the beds are comfy. The food at the restaurant is incredible and we loved that you could walk the dogs for the "gym" - the dogs are SO CUTE!

Voordelen:: Het zwembad en de sfeer! Fijn dat alle kamers om het zwembad heen liggen.

Nadelen:: Het rook wat muf en geen warmwater.

Nadelen:: There are dogs in front of the house in cages! You can walk with them, but I think it's animal cruelity to held dogs in cages! Don't understand why the owner isn't changing this circumstance. -pool area was a bit of a ghost town, no one was there also no staff and the pool bar was at no time open -not very close to the citycentre

Voordelen:: Heerlijke bedden, schone kamer, alles te boeken/regelen bij de receptie. Goed eten, veel keuze. En een heerlijke entourage, je blijft kijken. Lekker zwembad.

Nadelen:: Niet heel dicht bij centrum maar trycicle bij de poort om je te brengen.

Voordelen:: De kamers zijn zeer ruim en schoon.

Nadelen:: De prijzen in het restaurant zijn achterlijk duur. Ze proberen overal geld uit te halen: het poolen, de spelletjes, een scooter huren, alles is onredelijk duur. Ook kan je niet even je water bijvullen. Daarnaast was het zwembad ook niet schoon.

Voordelen:: De sfeer, personeel, zwembad en wijnkelder.

Nadelen:: Locatie.

Voordelen:: Interieur was erg mooi. Sfeervol verlicht zwembad en muziek. Kamers waren top.

Nadelen:: Het restaurant was twee of drie keer zo duur als in de omgeving. Bijna alles met vlees. Koffie was mua. Personeel mag meer lachen. Gasten mochten roken in de zwembad terwijl er een smoking area was.

Nadelen:: Horrible place, service was near zero

Voordelen:: Staff are very nice. We asked for late check out. And they agree as it was raining and our flight is late in the afternoon. Facilities are clean. Their food are yummy and in reasonble price. I will surely comeback.

Voordelen:: Price was low but you get what you pay for.

Voordelen:: Breakfast was great, and there's even a cafe with good drinks to boot! The spacious rooms with high ceilings are also a plus.

Voordelen:: The staff was great, always smiling and ready to help but it is the only thing we enjoyed during our staying there.

Nadelen:: The property needs huge improvements in terms of furniture and facilities. The towels were not clean, the blankets very cheap, the walls were black and with all kind of signs on it, the breakfast very poor... It was soooo depressing that we decided to leave earlier and find another hotel where to spend our last time not worrying about the room and the facilities.

Voordelen:: All. Everything. From ambience, staffs, basta all. Keep up the smiling and welcoming staffs. They are all the best.

Nadelen:: Wala lang trash can sa me room kasi kailangan pa pumunta ng cr para magtapon ng basura. Small thing but it helpful. Promise.

Voordelen:: Het zwembad was enorm prettig na een Tour! Ook was de kamer prettig!

Nadelen:: De service in het restaurant en de service aan de balie. Normaal ben ik niet zo snel negatief, maar wij hebben ruim 2uur(!) op een gereserveerde shuttle moeten wachten. Werd 9.15 ipv 7uur... Daarnaast moet je meteen je eten afrekenen zodra ze het uitserveren, kortom je eten wordt koud... Het hotel heeft potentie, maar moet echt wat aan de service doen....

Voordelen:: Prachtig hotel, heerlijk zwembad. Enorme luxe!

Nadelen:: Prijs was iets duurder bij hotel door tax.

Nadelen:: The hotel hosts many kid’s birthday parties so the pool area can be overcrowded and noisy.

Voordelen:: Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Lekker ontbijt, gym heeft wat je nodig hebt, prettig ruim zwembad. Personeel erg behulpzaam. Kwamen ons zelfs opwachten bij de luchthaven zonder dat het ons gelukt was ze te berichten (door gebrek aan internet)

Nadelen:: Geen daglicht in de kamer

Voordelen:: Alles was goed schoon en het ontbijt was goed geregeld en uitgebreid. Zeker gezien de prijs. Daarnaast was de luchthaven transfer erg handig en gaf de chauffeur die ons ophaalde meteen wat tips voor ons verblijf.

Nadelen:: De hygiëne van de douchecabine had beter gekund.

Voordelen:: Na twee weken vrijwel back-to-basic gereisd te hebben, was het heerlijk om weer een comfortabele hotelkamer te hebben, met een.... WARME douche!! Sterker nog: een rain-shower douche!! Ongekende luxe dus eigenlijk. Verder een heerlijk bed en ondanks de levendige omgeving was het in de kamer redelijk stil. Zo kon ik goed uitgerust aan de lange terugreis beginnen. Het nabijgelegen winkelcentrum bood nog de gelegenheid voor een lekkere hap buiten de deur en de laatste aankopen, dus al met al een prima hotel voor aankomst of vertrek in Puerto Princesa.

Nadelen:: Wi-Fi werkte niet. De enige tegenvaller.

Voordelen:: Het was schoon. Hen het personeel was zeer aardig.

Nadelen:: Een heel hard bed. Moet je van houden.

This was the first time we slept without Ohropax in our whole three weeks in the Philippines ;) breakfast was very good and the staff at the reception friendy and very helpful. Also we got free Airport transfer.

Nadelen:: Distance from the town, fair distance from bars and restaurants. Also a little pricey for a room for what you get.

Voordelen:: The hotel is very relaxing with the entrance down a track to a little calm paradises. Lots of nice trees, lights and pool with good sunloungers. The reception has a pool table and table football which are nice for after a drink or dinner in the restaurant. The room was fine with comfy beds and nice white bedding. Bathroom and shower were decent. Free shuttle to the airport was good!

Nadelen:: The floors in the rooms could do with mopping/cleaning properly, not just swishing with a broom. I had dirty feet after walking around on the tiles. Location isn’t great for restaurants but only five mins in a tuktuk. We would recommend Kalui restaurant. There is a beautiful little kitten that has had her hips crushed and needs taking to a vet but noone seemed to look after her. I’d love the people to care about cats and dogs the same way that we do and help her. She’s very sweet and if I had been there longer would probably have tried to take her to a vet myself x

Nadelen:: Gistermiddag kwamen we aan na 5uur reizen in het hotel. We waren er rond 12:30u, check in is vanaf 14:00u. Of de kamer al gereed is of niet, je moet bijbetalen als je er in wilt. Zoals we dachten waren we erg moe van de reis (en het vroege opstaan) en onze wens was om lekker een dagje bij het Zwembad te hangen zodat we konden opladen voor de volgende dag (05:00u ging de wekker). Er was een groep Duitsers en Fransen die ook aan het luieren waren. Alleen was hun opvatting Super dronken worden en luide muziek opzetten. We zijn naar de receptie gegaan. Het personeel is daarop naar ze toe gelopen om te vragen of ze het stil kunnen houden waarop de reactie van de Duitsers was : “Not Possible”. Hier werd verder geen actie op genomen terwijl er duidelijk in het huis reglement staat dat dat niet mag en dat dronken worden wordt bestraft met eruit gezet worden. De muziek werd luider en wij zijn het hotel ontvlucht. We hebben een kamer met terras geboekt en extra voor betaald. Wat bleek ; onze kamer had wel een terras, maar dat werd gerenoveerd en waren we niet over geïnformeerd en er was ook geen korting aangeboden op de prijs. We zijn naar een strandje gegaan in de hoop daar onze rust te vinden, maar het personeel was even vergeten te melden dat je entree moet betalen. Verder is een van de vereisten dat je ALLES via het hotel boekt, dus ook de tricycles. We zijn zwaar opgelicht en hebben PHP200 moeten betalen voor een ritje dat PHP50 was officieel. Het hotel krijgt een deel. Bij thuiskomst ‘s avonds wilden we lekker op bed tv kijken en deed de televisie het niet. Verder deed de soap dispenser het niet en lag er geen badmat waardoor de kans op uitglijden aanwezig is. We hebben ons beklag gedaan bij de receptie. De manager was al weg en zou de volgende dag om 11:30u pas weer aanwezig zijn. Wij waren om 06:00u al naar het vliegveld. De meiden achter de receptie moesten haar bellen, hadden geen enkel gezag en ook geen mogelijkheid om actie te ondernemen.

Voordelen:: Grote, enorm schone kamers. Prima zwembad en aardige mensen. Ontbijt was oké, niet uitgebreid maar genoeg.

Nadelen:: Locatie. Lag 20-30 minuten lopen van het centrum, maar was te doen.

Voordelen:: Staff are great. Location is good. It is quiet. And you can walk over the area with white fine sand under your feet.

Nadelen:: The locks on the room should be changed..it is not user friendly. Got to sleep for 2 nights with my luggages behind the door to serve as my lock.There is no chair, table or any drawer inside the room. And the beach... you cannot swim in there. The pool is small.. food is kindda pricey.

Voordelen:: De accommodatie lijkt idyllisch. Echter spoelde ons toilet niet door en kwam er bijna geen water uit de douche. Daarnaast waren onze bestellingen aan de bar steeds aan de late kant. Tevens was het eten duur en van mindere kwaliteit dan de dingen die wij reeds in het centrum gegeten hadden. Het zwembad was echter wel fantastisch, het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Voordelen:: Lovely beach bungalows that were very clean and comfortable, great value for money.

Nadelen:: Lack of restaurants near the hotel

Voordelen:: Breakfast was good, thought the overall food though was just ok. The room was nice, and the whole setting was beautiful.

Nadelen:: This is not a swimming beach. The water has virtually no wave and is only knee deep a 100 feet out it seemed. The best beaches are pretty far out .

Voordelen:: De kamers ( hutten) waren zeer comfortabel : mooie badkamer , goed bed . Vriendelijk maar niet zo professioneel personeel . Ontbijt was goed .

Nadelen:: De kamer werd niet schoongemaakt . Bleek dat je dat moest “aanvragen ” maar daar werd bij check in niets over gezegd . Strand was onaantrekkelijk .

Voordelen:: Was een geweldige locatie met prachtige huisjes

Nadelen:: Het ontbijt had wat uitgebreider gekund

Nadelen:: De restaurants bij Baywalk en SM zijn geen aanrars

Voordelen:: Het personeel was uitmuntend. Nergens zo’n oprecht aardige mensen gehad. We waren ziek geworden van het water in El Nido, het personeel kwam zelfs medicijnen en gemberthee naar de kamer brengen als extra service. De huisjes zien er super uit, leuk op het strand. Heerlijke massage gehad voor omgerekend maar €10,-! Ontbijt was ook lekker.

Nadelen:: We misten alleen een koelkast in de kamer. De weg naar het hotel is erg slecht, zorg dat je niet misselijk in de tricycle gaat want het is een zandpad vol gaten en heuvels.

Voordelen:: Was very peaceful and a bit outside of the busyness of the city. Only a 15 min away drive so it wasn’t a problem

Nadelen:: The lady at the reception sold us tickets to a party that the hotel was having for 500 php and when we got there the entrance tickets were 50 php and the food and the drinks included in the ticket were under the amount we payed. That really bothered me.

Voordelen:: The resort staff are very efficient and can anticipate our needs whether in dining or just lazing around the resort. Very courteous, warm and respectful from the gardener to the report's owners. The food choices are limited but they taste great. The dining area gives the guest a feeling of being in cahoots with nature with a great view of the serene ocean while dining. The rooms are adequately appointed and have cold ACs and the beds, comfortable. The shuttle service although not free, is a great convenience to and from the airport. Did I mention the awesome sunrise?

Nadelen:: More food choices.

Nadelen:: 1. Located far from town and hard to get a transport out. 2. Although a beach resort, the beach is not swimmable due to shallow water filled with seaweeds. 3. Only 2 washing point and 1 is spoilt. 4. Low water pressure for showering. 5. The place is infested with mosquitos. 6. No fridge inside room. 7. Had dinner at the restaurant on one night, the food is expensive, the taste and portion is not worth the price. 8. The bar will blast music till late into the night. Good luck sleeping if your unit is located near the bar. 9. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The reception is unattended almost all the time. 10. Reception is reluctant to help pack breakfast when we have to leave for a tour at 7am before the buffet breakfast start. A guy at reception claimed that the buffet breakfast will be ready by 6am and that we can consume before we leave for the tour. However, on the next day morning, upon reaching the restaurant at 6am, the buffet breakfast is not setup less say ready. When we told the staff at the restaurant that we were told that breakfast will be ready by 6am, he gave us an irritated look, insisted that breakfast will only start at 7am and reluctantly took out some bread and jam. So ended up we only had a piece of bread and jam for breakfast. 11. Housekeeping failed to tidy and replenish my room. 12. Extremely expensive considering their standard of service and facilities.

The rooms were beautiful, the beach was amazing, there were real monitor lizards living on the huge property, it was as close to nature as you can get- but at the same time super luxurious too. Their effort to be as eco friendly as possible is commendable. Nadelen:: Maybe a pickup and drop from the main area to this resort? Unless one is ready to drag their heavy bags through the sandy beach to get there :/ Also more options for breakfast. I felt the spread was quite limited.

Voordelen:: Lokatie op zich was prima, de kamers waren goed. Personeel was vriendelijk. Tocht over de "underground river" is een "must".

Nadelen:: Ontbijt was zeer matig zeker gezien de prijs. In de directe omgeving is heel weinig te doen; het dorpje Sabang heeft nog weinig te bieden.

Voordelen:: Love the Place and the people. Very helpful staff. We were stuck in the Puerto prinsesa because of the locked down but they did helped us to get out before its too late. Love their pool, the beach, they have gym, love the room so much!

Voordelen:: Very friendly staff, looked after us so well. The location is stunning and the resort grounds are maintained to a high standard. Our room was Awesome open french doors to balcony with stunning ocean views

Voordelen:: Lokatie en upgrade van apartement

Nadelen:: restaurant werd gerenoveerd, onbijt was geen buffet en duurde vaak 30-45 minuten voordat je eten had, Keus beperkt maar kwaliteit OK.

Voordelen:: Leuke huisjes direct aan het strand met heerlijk uitzicht. Fijn zwembad met bar. Het eten in het restaurant is heeeeeerlijk! Op verzoek maken ze een verse fruit schaal voor je. Sabang is heerlijk rustig met mooi strand.

Nadelen:: De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vonden wij niet goed. We betaalden heel veel voor de accommodatie maar vonden het dat niet helemaal waard. We verwachtten meer service voor dat geld. We hebben andere goedkopere accommodaties gehad die veel meer service verleenden. Wanneer je iets via de accommodatie wil regelen dan is alles privé, waar je ook de hoofdprijs voor betaald. Geen pick up of drop off service. Aan het strand bieden ze geen service, zijn er te weinig matjes voor op de zonnebedden en te weinig parasols. De huisjes zijn iets verouderd. We kregen pas nieuwe handdoeken wanneer we hierom vroegen.

Voordelen:: Lovely place, small and friendly with a real quality timeless feel about it. Restaurant was top class as well. Sabong is a nice small resort with 20 or so restaurants and a lovely beach. No where near as busy as El Nido.

Voordelen:: The view from the room. Comfort ok but considering the average in Philippines it was very good. Location... Sabang beach is amazing, nothing like Coron or El Nido. Private like Tours (but being the only one from the resort that booked this tour). Nice resort in overall. Good communication by mail, everything done as asked.

Nadelen:: Staff asking every single time at sunbed on the beach if we were cutsomer. Staff asking twice the room number during breakfast. The staff is too "old fashion", acting like robot saying always the same sentence... fake smiles on top of that. They should relax a bit, it's only a 4 stars resort... In short it's look like the management is putting too much stress/pressure on them. The restaurant is a bit overpriced... one lunch, 5000P for 2 without any wine... come on ...? Some of the food wasn't that good : terrible seafood soup that i wasn't even able to eat, Pancakes being dry like being cooked long time in advance, we eat much better pancakes in every others places of Palawan.

Voordelen:: Big rooms. Nothing else to like.

Nadelen:: The food. The facilities. The location. The owner. The poor monkeys kept as pets. The price I paid.

Voordelen:: Close to the beach and surprisingly good small restaurants.

Nadelen:: The rooms are dated and not in a great shape. The whole hotel grounds give the impression of an upscale camping ground, not a four star resort. Restaurant has limited options. Dogs bark on the beach all night.
