A comfortable spacious stone-built cottage that has been sympathetically converted to a characterful, homely, well equipped self-catering property. Our cottage sits quietly off the Main Street near the centre of the village of Killin. The property features a private fully enclosed sun-trap garden with trees and shrubs and is within easy walking distance of all the facilities of Killin as well as the stunning countryside and loch. Downstairs there is a spacious living/dining room. The living room has Harris Tweed covered chairs, Persian carpets and a feature fireplace with woodburning stove (not available for use except in the winter). Entertainment is provided by a 42" Sony panel TV, Humax freesat box and dvd/blueray player. We also have free Wi-Fi internet, board games and books. The dining table seats six. A high chair and cot is available upon request. French doors open on to the patio and garden for al fresco dining with outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen is ideal for self-catering: it is equipped with an electric oven, induction/ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, slow cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and separate tumble drier, and a table for informal breakfasts. There is one twin room downstairs, and a toilet/ shower room all on one level. Upstairs, there are a further two spacious bedrooms and a traditional family bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed with magnificent views of Ben Lawers and the Ptarmigan Ridge. The other has twin beds with views over the garden to the hills beyond. A cot is available on request (bedding not provided). All rooms have electric storage or panel heaters. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets.
