Food and Staff Friendliness

The facility is eco-friendly; no tv's or irons, water doesn't get hot (warm at most), dirty pools, lack of diversity with guests. The Palapas are not sealed, allowing for jungle critters and snakes to slip through the gaps in the twigs.

Breakfast was buffet as well as a la carte and was good with varying daily choices (waffles, shakes, etc.). There are three pools, each palapa has a decent amount of privacy and service was great. Security personnel makes you feel safe. The street of the resort and the adjacent neighborhood have fantastic restaurants and 5th Ave has shops, vendors and restaurants galore all the way up to the Playa airport (2-3 miles).

Beach is NOT private and locals as well as people from other properties crowd the beach, blasting music, especially on weekends. Lots of seaweed, although they try to clean it daily, you swim in it. Pools do not have enough shady spots. Although 2 meals are included they give you a bill for tips suggesting "Good, Very Good and Excellent" service with a 10%, 15%, 20% tip suggestion next to it so you will still end up paying several hundred dollars in tips during your stay. You are being sold to all day everyday once outside the resort.

Terrasse, pool and rooms are very close from the beach.

Swimming pool was not enough clean during our stay. Too much missing regarding the pool water.
