Voordelen: We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The property was easy to find, the parking for the car was right at the door and check in was simple. The room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The block out curtains meant we were able to get a nice sleep in in the morning. We opted to pay the extra for breakfast and I’m glad we did. The Full English was delicious and very generous in size. There was a great assortment of pastries & baked items for the Continental breakfast also. I highly recommend staying here.

Voordelen: Comfortable, efficient room conveniently located near the Gatwick airport in the neighboring town of Horley. Made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Hosts picked us up and delivered us back to Gatwick airport. The B&B is a 10 minute walk into Horley town with a variety of restaurants.

Voordelen: Everything was cozy and wonderful about this place. The host was very courteous. They even gave me one of the bigger rooms and it was probably the best bed i slept in since the beginning of my vacation. Breakfast was delicious.

Voordelen: What a beautiful little place! It seems like it’s far from the airport but it’s quite close! Maybe 5-8 min drive. They arrange a private taxi company which is way cheaper. The host was so lovely and kind. Fresh baked cookies in the room with water. The dinner menu was fabulous! Overall I would stay here again!

Voordelen: The Maple Manor Hotel was a beautiful structure that was well maintained. Our room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast included was free, which was good for a light snack in the morning. My husband and I stayed overnight once which meant we had free parking available. A taxi to Gatwick North Terminal was £8 one way (took approximately 10minutes to get there, if so much) which was cheap in comparison to Uber. We would definitely stay there again when we’re flying from Gatwick as it’s an affordable and comfortable room that’s near to the airport.

Nadelen: The room was on the smaller side but we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our needs. (Just letting readers know what to expect.) Our taxi which they ordered for 8 30am came at approximately 8 45/50am. We had put in the request when we checked in the previous day. While it may not have been at any fault of Maple Manor Hotel, it’s best to book your taxi a bit earlier than you plan to so you won’t be rushing about at the airport. (We we’re still on time for the flight.)

Voordelen: We arrived at 11.30pm after a cancelled Gatwick flight. The receptionist was welcoming and even helped take luggage upstairs. He was still present and smiling as we left at 6am the next morning. The hotel is just a 15 minute taxi drive from the North Terminal.

Nadelen: As am older style mansion, there are no lifts.

Voordelen: Friendly and convenient

Voordelen: Quite impressed with the property. Very helpful staff, friendly, clean and Comfortable. (I didn't have breakfast -but had a meal the previous evening which was very good. ). Also there's a Shuttle Mini bus service to Gatwick Airport which costs £6 (October 2019).

Nadelen: Wij sliepen in een hok in de tuin. Pal naast het grindpad. Om half 7 wakker door een auto die op 50cm langs ons reed. Daarnaast leek het beddegoed smerig. Er zaten vieze vlekken in. Leek wel gewassen, maar oogt erg vies. Daarnaast was de hele accommodatie vies. Op de muren vieze plekken, naast de prullenbak vieze vlekken. Op de radiator vieze vlekken. Het douchegordijn was zo smerig dat we niet hebben gedouched. Het eten was enigzins zwart geblakerd. Het leek te druk voor de dames te zijn om alles te kunnen handelen.

Voordelen: The room was small but adequate, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the transfers from and to the airport we're on time and quick.

Nadelen: The door to my room was hard to close. A shower in the room would be good and a bit more space. Overall the room was very small but clean and comfy.

Voordelen: The location is excellent. Although I arrived in the middle of the night the courtesy bus took no time at all to pick me up. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding in any way. The whole place had an air of efficiency. The bathroom was small but everything worked well and was clean.

Nadelen: It's a long time since I stayed in such a small room. I had two cases and the only place I could put them in the room was up against the door. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire. That being said I was only staying one night and the room was clean, and the (single) bed confortable enough

Voordelen: VERY convenient well run hotel if catching an early flight or arriving back late.The restaurants in the quadrangle are all good BUT VERY busy. However all was not lost we had a drink at an upstairs bar which was relaxed and chilled. Then the restaurant was available .

Nadelen: The Dinner eating is a wee bit frenetic which is not surprising really and if u havent booked there is little chance of getting in ! But have a drink at the upstairs bar having made a reservation at the restaurant we had abt a 40 minute wait but it was worth it...and not surprising when everyone staying there is looking for food at the same time!

When I reached the hotel, it was 5:40pm and could not check in right away as they ask for a penalty for earlier check in... I found that quite ridiculous. 2. The room was extremely small. I guess It was 200cmx200cm. I understand in a capsule hotel space is extremely limited, however the rate room was overpriced.

Nadelen: bij de boeking wat meer info i.v.m het systeem...het gaat hier om een "rust-uit" hotel, boekbaar op elk moment van de dag/nacht en voor eender welke tijdsduur. Betaling volgens bezet uur.

Voordelen: Perfect for grabbing some sleep before early flights out. The pods are very quiet and have the basics needed - good bed, TV and toilet/shower area. There's no real space on the floor so if you have lots of luggage it'd be a squeeze. The shops and restaurants of landside departures are a floor down so easy for picking up something to eat and drink (there is no fridge or drink making facilities but you and ask for tea or coffee at reception)

Nadelen: They are quite expensive - some of the surrounding hotels generally have cheaper rooms. You're paying for the convenience of being IN the airport departure lounge

Voordelen: Perfect location inside South Terminal of Gatwick airport. Ideal for early departures or very late arrivals. Comfortable bed . Al the essential facilities for an overnight stay. Plenty of restaurants @nd shops within a minute.

Nadelen: Too warm - duvet was too heavy. Air conditi9ning was a little too loud. Basin plug couldn’t be closed; water drained away as I tried to wash and shave. Be prepared for tight dimensions.

Nadelen: het enige wat jammer is, je kan je bagage er niet achterlaten. je kan deze wel op de luchthaven achterlaten. voor een dag kost dit per dag 12,50 pond. dat is jammer maar verder is het super!

Despite the fact that we didn’t interact with the hosts in person as we arrived after check in had closed, the communication via booking.com and the notes they left meant everything was seamless in terms of entry and then the transfer to the airport in the morning. Complimentary taxi to the airport was a big factor in our booking. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which were helpful for the early start.

Nadelen: Nothing. It’s dated in terms of decor so some guests may not like that, same with the shared bathrooms. But that’s all advertised and you can’t complain for the price.

Voordelen: The reception staff are always really nice and in the mornings and it's always nice and calm in the restaurant for breakfast. They have a good range of breakfast food and a 24hr bar so there's always somewhere to go other than your room

Nadelen: The towles smelt like curry Which was off putting and house keeping were quite rude. The main issue is that there's nothing to do or anywhere to go in the area. You have to get a bus or taxi everywhere you go.

Nadelen: Room had an old musty/mouldy smell. Wifi was free for only 30 min. Towels didn't smell clean. Room overall needed to be updated. Stayed here because we had a flight layover overnight out of Gatwick and thought we could just walk to to hotel, but it's actually about a 5 min cab ride from airport.

Nadelen: The hotel is advertised as sound proofed rooms but it is not, we could hear the cars parking in the carpark which was next to our room (even after asking for a quiet room), lots of noise from the corridor. The water to fill the bath was lukewarm whilst it was boiling in the sink. My credit card was charged £20 without no explanation so i phoned from my holiday to be told it was incidentals which was not explained to me at the time of checking in

Voordelen: The room was good. The staff are friendly. It is conveniently close to Gatwick airport. Transport was organised by the lodge at a reasonable rate.

Nadelen: Shower cubicle very small.

Voordelen: Reasonably priced transfer to Gatwick at 3 00 am

Nadelen: Nothing to dislike

Voordelen: Being able to leave the car in a safe place, and be transported very quickly and efficiently to and from the airport.

Nadelen: Breakfast - there could have been a better selection - fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc.

Voordelen: The staff were great very helpful, the breakfast was good plenty of it and the place and room were very clean.

Nadelen: The sheets didn't fit the bed so it was uncomfortable and the duvet was also too small which meant the covers didn't cover us properly.

Voordelen: Easy to get to the airport and a helpful driver

Nadelen: Little old and musty ok for one night

Voordelen: Comfortable room just near by the airport.

Nadelen: We must have waited to do the Check in outside the building at night time as the recepcionist had to drive some people to the airport at the same time. Understable but not very nice for the guests (us).

Voordelen: No time for breakfast - had to leave at 6.30 to catch a plane, but excellent transfer service to Gatwick airport.

Nadelen: My room was at the very top of 2 flights of very steep stairs; fortunately the receptionist helped me by carrying up my suitcase.

Voordelen: Location

Nadelen: Difficulty understanding the staff over the phone. Did not have good reception on Wi-Fi in the room. There was a charge for shuttle pick up at the airport and drop off that was not indicated on the email notifications. There are no outlets near the bed.

Voordelen: Great location and affordable for a one night stay. Everything there that was need and staff friendly and approachable

Nadelen: Additional parking fee for guests..should be included in price and eliminate pesky surprises.

Voordelen: The joyfull staff members, even at 3 am!

Voordelen: A bit older and the carpet is quite old. The rom was a bit dark

Nadelen: Close to the airport with shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes

Nadelen: Schimmel op ramen, kraan hing los, bad kon niet geleegd worden. Oubollig en oud.

Voordelen: Not much we had little choice as other hotels booked

Nadelen: Very old property sadly in need of tlc

Voordelen: We arrived at 930 and before I booked I checked to see if they had food, the website said restaurant and room service neither was open ona Saturday night, after along day of traveling. The staff was less than friendly or helpful! The walls are paper thin we could here conversations and people coughing throughout the night. I’ve stayed at Airbnb in the area with better hosts , nicer facilities, cleaner and quieter! Would not stay there again and do not recommend!

Voordelen: De lounge was heel gezellig. Eten was goed, de bedden sliepen fijn.

Nadelen: De airco werkte nauwelijks, het raam kon maar enkele centimeters open

Nadelen: The receptionist was v unfriendly, like he was doing me a favor. I emailed them in the morning to find out about shuttle services and didn’t receive a reply, and hassled to find my way to the hotel. I would definitely not stay there again!

Voordelen: good location when taking an early flight out of Gatwick. Price-Value is very good.
