Nadelen:: The bathroom basin clogged a bit, it took quite a while to drain the water every time after I washed my hands. As a person who pay attention to details I also noted the pencil provided in my room had a broken lead. I had no intention to use the pencil at all but I reckon such issue maybe regarded as a cons for some others.

I asked for a high room and got it no problem - there's a load bar across the road and I didn't want to listen to the people outside all night. The view was great. It is clean and well maintained. Ok size room for normal standards, but this is London so compared to what you get in this city, it is enormous. Plus the pool and steam room were a nice bonus to clear the head in the morning.

Voordelen:: The breakfast was great, the steam room was really hot. The hotel was very accommodating for my special requests. Great amenities in terms of the pool, fitness center, etc. There is also a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The staff were relatively friendly overall. Housekeeping staff were so friendly and funny. They could be working the front desk!
Nadelen:: The WiFi was basically not working at all unless you were in the lobby. The pool had no shallow end so not good for children or short people. The shower in the ladies locker room was broken. The pillows were not comfortable at all. The mattresses are firm which wasn’t good or bad. I wasn’t keen on the mojito my bartender made me either. I would absolutely stay here again but these were the things I didn’t like. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the hotel but the kids menu is good for kids (I have a 20 month old)

Voordelen:: Nice reception staff, very efficient and professional. I asked for a high room and got it no problem - there's a load bar across the road and I didn't want to listen to the people outside all night. The view was great. It is clean and well maintained. Ok size room for normal standards, but this is London so compared to what you get in this city, it is enormous. Plus the pool and steam room were a nice bonus to clear the head in the morning.
Nadelen:: Breakfast was pretty tepid. Why can't you keep hot items properly hot? And why are crispy fried foods kept in a closed container so they just go soggy and greasy? I don't know why London hotels only offer English breakfasts too; the rest of Europe manages to provide a whole range of fresh, healthy choice and for much better price.

Nadelen:: noise isolation is not the best, it's a good thing it's in a quiet location , but still work in the street ( garbage disposal or something ) in the street outside woke my wife up some days ( we were in the 4th floor) mattress was a bit too hard for our taste ( we didn't complain about any of these to the hotel staff ... it could be that they could have done something not sure)

Nadelen:: They have 2 breakfast options: continental or hot English. We had a continental included in the price. There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Nice coffee pod machine in lobby for guests was appreciated. Staff were kind and helpful- yes, if staying in London, I would book again. Easy access to Paddington station- it's a moderate 10-15min walk, but lovely to see the beautiful potted flowers and gorgeous bulidings on our stroll. Metro(underground) and busses also easliy accessable. I found it really expensive for single trips on the Metro, so invest in a Oyster card if staying for more than one day.

Voordelen:: This was one of the worst places I have stayed, the staff were miserable and rude. The shower was cold, the hallways had leaking water coolers, noisy strobing lights and damp patches on the walls. As a disabled female travelling alone on the morning of my departure I phoned reception 4 times to ask for some assistance with my bags but there was no answer. When I struggled down myself I then asked at reception for a taxi to be booked being told to go to concierge, at the concierge desk I was told to ask the man on the door and when I asked him another staff member butted in saying I should wait on the pavement and flag one myself. The reason I asked was because I was carrying so many bags which he could see I had and this was far from the service I expected. I was left so embarrassed struggling out of the hotel, I travel a lot and will never book a Hilton again.

Voordelen:: This hotel is connected to Paddington station, so a very easy option if you need to catch a flight (the Heathrow Express leaves from Paddington). It's also in a great neighborhood with lots of transport links and restaurants, and of course lives up to the usual Hilton standard of being a nice hotel. Nadelen:: This used to be one of London's premier hotels. Sadly, it has fallen on hard times through lack of maintenance, general degradation of standards and lack of investment. Examples: carpets throughout the hotel are stained, frayed and worn, room cleanliness is way below standard (room corners are dirty), elevators are slow, the air conditioning system in the room simply did not work, the telephone only seems to work with operator assistance for which you are charged, staff appear improperly trained for their functions, just touch anything in the minibar and its charged and prices are outrageous.

Voordelen:: This was one of the worst places I have stayed, the staff were miserable and rude. The shower was cold, the hallways had leaking water coolers, noisy strobing lights and damp patches on the walls. As a disabled female travelling alone on the morning of my departure I phoned reception 4 times to ask for some assistance with my bags but there was no answer. When I struggled down myself I then asked at reception for a taxi to be booked being told to go to concierge, at the concierge desk I was told to ask the man on the door and when I asked him another staff member butted in saying I should wait on the pavement and flag one myself. The reason I asked was because I was carrying so many bags which he could see I had and this was far from the service I expected. I was left so embarrassed struggling out of the hotel, I travel a lot and will never book a Hilton again.

Nadelen:: Temperature of the room was horrible - we had the aircon on the whole time but we were always so hot. We tried to open the window to allow for fresh air but we could only open it slightly so that didn’t help. There was no room fridge. The tv is very small...which I guess we didn’t mind so much as we were out most of the time. Make sure you pay for the room upfront. They will hold the cost of the room until the end of the stay and say it will only take 3-5 days to transfer back...but we found out it can take up to 10days which doesn’t help when you’re travelling on a budget!! The room wasn’t that clean we kept finding hairs all over the place...which is just gross.

Lucian heeft ons vanaf het begin van ons verblijf heel goed geholpen met de koffers en zeer behulpzame informatie. Hij stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen en hij was zeer vriendelijk. Ik zou zeker anderen aanraden om bij het Park Grand London Hyde Park hotel te blijven. Het is in een rustige buurt. Far from what you'd expect from paying £330 for the night. We then complained and were ungraded (not sure you could call it that) to an executive room (550). The tv kept on turning on and off, and when on wouldnt show channels. The bedlinen had holes. The bathroom decor was crumbling (paint) and old. We were then interrupted by Housekeeping at 8.45am who wanted to service the room. Would not stay again.

Really good area the food was on par with the other publove hostels. I stayed here a few months back and it seemed like the staff at the time were struggling a bit this time around new staff and everythink seems to be running like clock work really good vibe the night porters are wicked bar staff really cool, showers always hot worth a stay

My rromate actually booked from 11-15 Sept but she checked out on the 12 Sept due to the room is too small. Not as per in the picture shown. My room is a Female Room for 3 pax but during the last night.....middle of the night, me & another lady from Brazil were awaken when the hostel staff came in to our room & asked whether we mind having a guy to stay in our room....since it was after midnight & both of us are checking out the next morning...we have agreed but if we were to check out later....we will not allow as this room is stated for FEMALE ONLY.

Nadelen:: Schoonmaak douche toilet combi op 2e verdieping(verdieping van kamer 4) Ik arriveerde op 21 aug rond 10:45 en ging naar dat toilet. Er zaten flinke poep spetters in de pot en lag een natte gebruikte handdoek op de grond naast achter de pot en een dekbedhoes als kleedje voor uit te stappen voor de douche.Toen ik' s avonds ging douchen/plassen lagen zelfde doeken en zelfde diaree sporen in de pot en de volgendemorgenom 8:45 bij volgende bezzoek weer. Inmiddels was eea natuurlijk ook wat viezer door verder gebruik en was wc papier op wat weer andere sporen opleverde(bloed/plasdruppels op bril)

Nadelen:: The room could have been bigger, although I didn't spend much time there. The TV didn't have many channels, even obvious ones like ITV1 and Channel 4 weren't available, which was odd. Although again I didn't spend much time actually in the room.

Voordelen:: De ligging is perfect. Het is inderdaad een oud gebouw en de gangen naar de kamers doen wat studentikoos aan. Kamer zelf is klein. Maar dat weet je in Londen centrum. Hygiëne prima, schone lakens, iedere dag schone handdoeken. Badkamer is vrij nieuw. Voordelige producten weliswaar en niet echt netjes afgewerkt. Ik had er geen last van. Je bent in je hotel om te slapen en bedden (2 aparte van 90 cm )waren prima. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Nadelen:: Everything. We asked if we could check in early - 12.00 - and were told yes if we paid 25.00 each. Disgusting as the room was obviously ready. When we asked to leave our luggage we were told it was 5.00 each. Never had to pay for this in any hotel we have stayed in. When we went back at 2.00 we were ignored by reception while they filed papers, answered the phone and then attempted to check someone else in. When I asked if we could check in rather exasperated they looked at us as if we were from another planet and asked what we wanted. I said what do you think were standing here for. Room had a misshapen bathroom door, badly hung ripped curtains, a massive stain on carpet and a light above the mirror that would not switch off so we had it on all night and had to put a towel over it. Cistern was broken and moved when you leant against it and sink taps were loose almost hanging off. Darent have a shower. Definitely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and when we complained they wasnt even bothered
