Voordelen:: Oude stijl aardige mensen, goed eten

Nadelen:: Erg kleine kamer, ontbijt moet meer item

Voordelen:: Staff during check in was great and also during check out. Room was comfortable and the hotel have a great location.

Nadelen:: Unfortunately after my room was serviced noticed a huge black hair on top of my bed that wasn't great. Also felt completely ignored by chief concierge while waiting for luggage. Not even an acknowledgement or an eye contact while he was specking trivia with other guest and on my way out of the Hotel the same person not even ask to help us with luggage. I'm speaking about a gentleman that have the clefs d'or in his jacket, this should be synonyms of excellency, what it wasn't in this gentleman's case.

Voordelen:: Beautiful hotel, in a landmark building Russell Square. Russell Square tube station is next door. The Lobby was amazing, and the rooms comfortable and stylishly decorated with cool artwork and pops of color.

Voordelen:: The lobby and all the bars are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower great. It was nice but just didn't feel very five star.

Nadelen:: The check in was incredibly slow and there was a mix up with our room keys which took quite a while to resolve. (Though we were given two vouchers for money off the bar.) Service was again terribly slow at breakfast, and the food wasn't very hot, but a 12.5% service charge was added to it. It also seemed a very expensive room rate to not include breakfast.

Nadelen:: It was the first time in my life that I stayed in a room with no windows. The hotel is great but they cannot sell a room with no windows without prior information. I also criticize booking as the reservation was made in the platform and I had no prior knowledge

Voordelen:: Wonderful staff, brilliant location, beautiful building and would definitely stay there again

Voordelen:: We gaan al jaren (al 35 jaar) naar Londen en bezochten dus reeds vele hotels. Doch dit hotel overtrof al onze verwachtingen, zowel het klassieke gebouw buiten (prachtige buitengevels, binnen authentieke marmeren inkom en trappenhal, uiterst zeldzame originaliteit en schoonheid) als binnen. De suite die we als upgrade kregen was de mooiste die we ooit boekten sinds vele jaren. Alles zeer praktisch en tegelijkertijd verbluffend smaakvol ingericht ; zeer prachtige en ruime badkamer ook ; vele en supersnelle liften, nog in geen ander hotel gezien zulke efficiëntie ; zeer goede ontvangst en behulpzaam personeel ; zelfs geen extra's aangerekend voor minibar. Bij ons volgende London-bezoek zullen we er zeker terug boeken.

Nadelen:: Enige minpuntje was de luidruchtige bar beneden, doch die hebben we niet meer bezocht ; past geheel niet bij zo'n klassehotel.

Voordelen:: Bed was dreamy. Walk in shower had a marble bench in it. Turn down service wonderful.

Voordelen:: The staff is great and the renovation has done a good job of preserving the grandeur of the old hotel.

Nadelen:: Something lighter than a duvet for the bed, but I know that is the trend with all hotels. Guess they want their guests to roast.

Voordelen:: Amazing location beautiful rooms and incredible bathrooms

Nadelen:: A bit expensive

Voordelen:: The hotel is beautiful and the rooms, though functional were very well and thoughtfully equipped and quiet. I loved the popcorn and chocolate, thank you that's just what I wanted at the end of a tough working day while I waited for my lovely bath to fill.

Nadelen:: The breakfast wasn't to the standard I was expecting from this hotel. It was good but could definitely be better by using good quality ingredients. I had eggs benedict one morning and smoked salmon bagel the following. Although both were fine, I've definitley had better in many other places.

Voordelen:: Geweldig personeel, zeer behulpzaam. Perfecte locatie voor diverse treinstations.

Nadelen:: Kosten.

Voordelen:: Convenience to stations. Lovely big rooms. Glass lift with view over London

Voordelen:: Bed and pillows were very good

Voordelen:: Breakfast was great! The rooms and corridors are dated and worn. Lumpy mattress, stains on carpet, knocks on furniture and doors. Weird smell in hallways!

Voordelen:: Only staff for concerige & resturant good

Nadelen:: Unfortunately every time I stayed in the hotel is worse than before, this year I stayed 4 times and every time I find it worse before !! For example:- 1- Upon arrival at 12:30 pm, the reception refused to hand me over to the room. I know check in must be 2 pm but my room ready why not give to me !?! 2 - the reception asked me a visa card (for deposit, I tried to pay cash but refused Im explain to him my point that I can not put the visa card but strongly refused to pay cash and insisted on taking the visa !! 3 - The price for breakfast 21 £ when booking from the restaurant, but when booking from the reception price 18 £ when I decided in the morning to pay through the reception was refused ! I can not pay only when the check that I can not change my mind !! 4 - I had 3 rooms in the hotel and one of them for the disabled I asked her an extra bed was rejected due to of security reason ! (After that the hotel manager enters and solves the problem) 5-Noise noise noise !! The hotel puts DJ in the lobby late at night !! (All people can go to the disco or bar if they want to I dont know why they need annoyed guests by hotel mangment !!

Voordelen:: The hotel was great. Short walk to Kings Cross/ St. Pancras. Hotel was very nice and staff were so friendly and helpful.

Voordelen:: The main areas are beautiful and opulent, but rooms felt basic. I was also very surprised that the cost did not include breakfast and was an additional £18 person.

Voordelen:: Location is great. We stayed with 2 kids. Mrs Cassandre Lebas , guest relations manager Gave us a very warming welcome and highly professional service, taking care all of our needs with patience and a smile

Voordelen:: The staff are approachable and professional. The room is very spacious. The room amenity is well provided. Also good location.

Nadelen:: The safe was not working every well. Was not given a floor cloth for 2 days. It will be good to get full cream milk instead of just semi skim.

Nadelen:: One staff at reception was unfriendly when i asked her about the access card was not working for lounge. I needed to take tea or breakfast. But rather than helping, she asked me to bring identity card etc. I had no time, so i left the hotel without breakfast. In the evening someone else helped me and urgently checked the card and rectified problem. I am surprised, if card was not working why the staff needed to see once again my passport etc which was in the room and i needed extra time to go to room and bring the passport to show her. when my card already was issued for the room, but had some issue at lounge access.

Nadelen:: Room for 3 was small and felt cramped for 3 adults. Towels and tea and coffee were supplied for only 2 adults. Couldnt contact reception and house keeping by phone so had to go down to reception to request these.

Voordelen:: Everything was excellent by comparison to other venues in London. This is a truly good hotel.

Nadelen:: There was a little smell in the room where I stayed at.

Voordelen:: The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very clean. The girl on the desk was very welcoming and the cleaners were also very friendly.

Nadelen:: The bed headboard was worn out. On leaving we noticed the whole floor was being renovated. Therefore I'd imagine the bed would be replaced. All in all though, quite satisfactory.

Nadelen:: The food we had was really disappointing in the restaurant! My daughter had soup which was really tasteless and watery! She couldn’t have the bread to go with it as we were told it had nuts in, ( she is allergic to nuts) My aubergine dish was quite tasteless. The chips were undercooked. The spinach and green beans were delicious!

Nadelen:: The room was terrible. It was badly designed and very difficult to stay in. The bathroom was not only badly designed but dangerous to use. The bath was too high and almost impossible to get in and out of for a shower. There were inexplicably several completely unnecessary steps along the corridor which were difficult to manoveur a suitcase over and no staff to help bring up bags or take you to your room. The check in staff member wrote our room number so badly in our key folder that we went to the wrong room and had to go all the way back down to reception to get clarification for the room number. In the room the television didn't work properly and therr was no information about how to use the facilities. I had to guess how to call housekeeping cause although there was a card next to the phone there was no number on it. The room was designed so there was only one major blinding overhead light - no lamps or reading lights - so when one of us wanted to sleep the other had to sit in complete darkness. Add to that even in the day we had to have the blinds drawn because the windows looked out on a filthy alley with several drunkards leering up at the windows so we were always gloomy or over lit. There was no attempt to soundproof the windows and we were kept up most of the night by the constant loudspeaker from Warren street station announcing it was closed or closing or evacuating.. Plus all the police and ambulance sirens. It was all small irritations but considering how expensive this hotel was it all added up to a very poor stay. When we checked out no one even asked us how our stay was or if everything was OK.. Cause honestly they clearly didn't care.

Voordelen:: The staff was very nice and courteous, and the property was clean. The English Breakfast was very big, and provided many options, including vegetarian options, which was nice. Check in and check out were quick and efficient.

Nadelen:: The room was small. I knew that going in. It's just good to keep that in mind. While it was comfortable and, for one traveler, fine, it was still very small.

Voordelen:: Excellent location short walk from Euston. Really great staff. Room massive and huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent well organized and hot buffet. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg recommended. Coffee and pan au chocolate to follow. DELICIOUS!

Nadelen:: Room was sold as disabled but the door was too narrow for my wheelchair unless it was folded up. To be fair the Hotel advised of this before we arrived so not unexpected, but if wheelchair bound it would be a problem.

Voordelen:: The location and the gym that opens 24 hours! House keeping team was kind to even gave me a small gift as a token of declining the house keeping for 2 days! Lol

Nadelen:: The room is bit too small for a single stay! And the price is bit dear!

Voordelen:: Lovely marble bathrooms, good location convenient to St Pancras and Warren St stations, very good quality, comfortable, very clean bedrooms and stylish hotel. Good breakfast buffet.

Nadelen:: A lack of choice on the menu in the dining room for dinner other than lobster and steak, which has been on the menu there for years and we didn't like much.

Nadelen:: Lighting was terrible either dark of lights direct in your eyes bed light/reading light/lamp would be good and the kettle handle was a Health & Safety risk it heated up so much you couldn’t lift it-I did report it

Voordelen:: location is great: walking distance to many tourist attractions and very close to the tube/buses. The hotel is a little run-down and could use some refurbishment. The staff very helpful.

Voordelen:: Location is great, breakfast was good. When I asked for s room change the staff were helpful and apologised and gave me a free breakfast

Nadelen:: The room size and what was in the room was poor, I stayed at the Pullman close by for the same money and got a great room, first room I had to be moved as the room stunk of smoke. They had cleaned it but obviously did not care about the smell.

Voordelen:: Loved the breakfast, good selection of fresh food. Didn't pre-book the breakfasts but able to sort out breakfast tokens with reception on a daily basis to suit. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, walked down from Euston station, also just round corner from Russell Square Tube station which is on the direct Piccadilly line to the V&A and National History Museums.

Nadelen:: The standard executive room was a trifle small for 2 people compared with the Holiday Inn in Central York where we stayed a few weeks prior, and no room safe provided (as was at York). The extractor fan in bathroom didn't appear to be working. At one point, only one functioning lift, but these were back in action relatively quickly and not affect us unduly.

Voordelen:: Great location. Lovely staff. Lots of eats options just across the road in shopping centre. Will definitely be back. Now my first choice for staying in London.
